Anthony Salerno is amazing! I have been having issues with my brakes squealing every since they were done three weeks ago. I had originally bought brand new front and back brake sets (pad, rotors, etc) & front & back tires. Once, I shared my concern about the squealing, one of the employees advise I drive approximately 300-500 miles yo break them in. That was an amazing suggestion, but the issue remained the same. I took my car in to get examined and the ex manager said, “you are all good boss, I personal went and look at your brakes myself. They are perfect and should not have any issues”. Well, that was not the case at all. My brakes had gotten even worse & the squealing was off the charts that he had claimed not to hear. I called up to the store again and came in on Thursday. I was greeted by the new manager Anthony Salerno, he was very friendly and kind. He asked what exactly was my issue or concern and once I shared he respectfully asked if he could take a ride and listen to exactly what I may be hearing. No more than 30 seconds of us pulling out he has already heard the squeal and offered to take a look! He popped up my 2019 Chevy Impala and worked his MAGIC! He is very intelligent, efficient and social! He knows cars in and out! I trust Mavis within Anthony Salerno with me and my family’s vehicles. I highly recommend and would choose him over anyone at this very moment. My car brakes perfect and I have not heard anything such a slight squeal! Thank you! You are truly amazing.

In a time where workers are hard to find and keep, I hope the guys here stick around! The place is busy and the guys are jumping, so if you have the time to drop the car off, you can be sure these guys will take care of you. Pete the manager that works at Mavis Tires in Brandon is the man! Today is the second time that I have visited this location within the past month. There was some debris that fell off a truck and hit my car in which one of my new tires was damaged beyond repair. Pete got me out of my donut and into a new tire within 2 hours. Pete was so low staffed today with call outs that he even took the time to put the new tire on for me himself just to make sure I got home safely. Highly Recommend this Mavis Location! Great Customer Service.

It’s really sad when you have an appointment time at 11am and your car STILL isn’t finished nearly three hours later. All that needed to be done was two tires. That’s it. When I confirmed the appointment on Thursday, they said 1.5 hours max. When I came in for the appointment I again checked and was told 1.5 hours max. Why is it taking double the time? Especially when I was originally waiting at the location and at 11:45am (45 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment), my car still hasn’t even been taken back to be put up to start the process. Now I just found out that they had two people quit this morning. I understand that that hinders productivity but I’d be a bit more understanding if they communicated that when I first got here at 10:45am. Communication is key. Then to top it all off, it didn’t even take them 10 minutes to put the tires on once I complained TWICE.I dropped my car off at 10:45am and left at 2:38pm. That is ridiculous.

I have to say I was very pleased with the service I received from your facility. I had visited a few Mavis while on vacation in FL, and all but one were worth going to.Jonathan, was the young man who took my phone call. He was polite beyond words. I have 0% knowledge about cars and he explained every little detail about what services were going to be done on my car.When I arrived at your location, the place was immaculate. Jonathan was even nicer in person than over the phone.I have no complaints of the service, everything was done quickly and efficiently. If I am ever back in FL I would definitely come to y all.

First time ever writing a bad review. The public needs to know the manager of the Brandon Mavis treats people unacceptable. I called the corporate office to report the abusive behavior. This manager assured me I had no tire warranty THANK GOODNESS I kept the paperwork. Spoke to me like I was uneducated on every level especially tires. He displayed no desire to help just a desire to create a negative experience. I have taken every car I owed to Kaufman which is now Mavis. I WAS A LOYAL CUSTOMER BUT WILL NEVER GIVE BUSINESS TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. I drove to the Plant City Mavis (just because I have WARRANTY) where I had a fantastic experience even if it is 40 minutes away from my house. As a customer we have choices !!! Please go to a place where you are treated kindly and given great service. . . you will not get it here.

This location has good attitude when things are not correct. I did not like the tires they put on which were my choice and they made a high pitch noise which wasnt there with old tires. I took it back, and they said it was no trouble to change to a different brand of truck tires which we actually sat down and discussed whats best for F150 and were about the same price. They also changed both both front bearings assemblies which were due at 120k. The truck runs like new and smooth now, even though they did it twice. No Problems!. Im in the Customer Service business and this place has it figured out which today is not common. They earned my future business and thats the trick. Good job.

Fellis is great. They had to order new lug nuts and did that 10 minutes after closing. Service was excellent and didnt have to wait till tomorrow. Above and beyond..... thank you!

Do not go here. Took my car here on 6/20. Called ahead of time and the guy said he could take me that day. I enter and was not greeted - but the guy working was busy so I waited. Finally he greeted me and told me he would help me in a minute. Someone else comes in and he goes right up to them and talks to them about their car. Theyre complaining that they need their car done before 5pm. He agrees. This should have been my warning sign. Then he finishes up with them and helps me. I reiterate what I need done and he says he will call me later for the pick up time. A few hours pass so I call them. He picks up and tell me he will check on my car. Instead of putting me on hold, he hangs up. I call back (he doesnt apologize) and says they are working on my tires and that he will call when it is ready. A few hours go by and I think that is a bit to long so I call again - he hangs up. Im about to head over to go see what one earth is going on and I realized they are now closed. Following day I call and he hangs up on me again!!! I kept calling and someone else picks up. I describe who I have been working with and how annoyed I am with them - turns out the incompetent person is the MANAGER!!! So turns out the manager completely lied to me - they never started to work on my car until 6/21 - fathers day. I didnt get my car until way later. I finally get a call that it is done. Guess what? They forgot to do the windshield wipers and my front brakes. They did 2 tires. They didnt even put the tires in the right place. They belonged in the front and they put them in the back. The assistant manager had been helpful. But the manager sucks.

Fellis at this Mavis location is truly an awesome person and fantastic mechanic! I originally Got an alignment , tire balance and rotation (for a great deal) on my “monster truck” because it was shaking at higher speeds and that’s what I thought would be best. Well it was needed but did not stop the shaking. I Called back up here, Fellis answered and immediately scheduled me an appointment to come back in and dedicated his time to figure out why it was shaking & solved the problem! It was my spacers, so we removed them and he realigned and balanced the tires just to ensure that it would last. My truck drives soooooo much better, almost as good as when I bought it! 10/10 would recommend this place!

Ive been visiting this location for the past 2 years. From the very 1st experience to my most recent appointment. The service here has been exceptional. In all fairness no one wants a mechanic or business that rushes through the necessary service maintenance on their vehicle. They do an amazing job, the customer service is direct and more personable so you feel comfortable leaving your vehicle in their care. Fellis and Johnathan are welcoming and very knowledgeable. Called Mavis tire of Brandon located off of Lithia Pinecrest. Spoke with Fellis. Had rims and tires come in that I needed to be put onto my car. The customer service was excellent right from the phone call. Fellis went out of his way to make sure that I had everything I needed that shouldve came with the rim and tire set prior to coming. He didnt want me to run into any issues.Was able to get up there 15 minutes after the phone call. When I say speedy service I mean speedy. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Fellis and staff were excellent.Its hard to find a shop these days that are quick, hard workers and leave you walking out going it was a great experience. The mavis tire brandon location with Fellis and staff did just that.I will continue to bring my car here for tires and brakes and honestly anything else that may come up because of the great impression they made.Thank you to Fellis and staff for getting me in and out quickly. I would highly recommend coming here if you need anything taken care of on a vehicle. You will not regret it. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Got a flat at 5:15 on the way home. Limped to Mavis. They were friendly and helpful. They stated that they did not have time to put the two tires I wanted on the car, which was reasonable since they were about 20 minutes to closing. I was told that if I came in first thing in the morning they would get me right in and out the door. They were a little slow getting the car taken care of, but while doing it, they found a nail in one of my other tires and offered to take care of it for me free of charge on account of the wait. So although the time taken was not ideal, they were very helpful, honest and took good care of me.

I was just about to leave for Vacation when I discovered a nail in my rear driver side tire. No big deal rite? Well it was at 7 at night. I took my car to get checked out and the staff IS AMAZING!!!!!! Especially Fellis!!!! I had great service today as I needed help with brake light replacements. I intended to do the job myself but did not have the right tools. I had bought the lights and was able to take off only two the four screws required to take off the taillights assembly so I called for help. When I arrived Jonathan quickly replaced the lights himself and didnt even charge me for his time! Thank you so much for the quick and professional service. Fellis and the team at Mavis took really good care of me. Was about to get on the highway for a long-distance trip and discovered a nail in the tire. I thought my day was going to be spent at a tireshop waiting for a new tire. Fellis inspected my tire and found that the it was only a nail head and a full nail hadnt penetrated the tire. Ill be honest, when I was selecting the place to get my tires installed, I selected the cheapest and closet option, it just happened to be this Mavis Discount Tires. I was doing a tire installation, and honestly I couldnt be happier. The lobby was very modern and clean, and I was immediately greeted. My order was easily pulled up, the tires I purchased were confirmed, and I dropped off my keys. Wait wasnt too bad, about an hour and a half, and I had errands to run anyway, so it finished in a perfect time-frame for me. I asked to keep the old tires as I often use them for spares, and my request was accepted without issue. I was truly surprised when I went to pick up the car and the old tires were already neatly placed in my car in tire bags. I honestly was expecting to load them myself, so it didnt even click in my head until I looked. Tires were installed perfectly, no damage to the wheels and facing the correct direction. Honestly I couldnt be happier with my purchase and installation process through Amazon and Mavis. I look forward to them doing all my tires in the future, and will highly recommend them to friend and family.

Made an appointment for oil change and brakes to be replaced. 4 hours after my scheduled appointment and 5 hours after I dropped it off, I called to find out when my car would be done. I was informed they were about to call me to let me know my brake needed replacement. I informed them I knew that, and thats why I made the appointment. Was told that it was just my rear pads and rotors and it would take about 30 minutes to pick up the parts and about 2 hours to install. I told them not to do anything, and I was going to get my car. Just took car to another shop who said my rear pads and rotors were fine. A bit dusty and loose; which they would clean and tighten up. They did say my front pads were a little low, and I asked they replace those then.I will definitely not be going back, even if they offered to do work for free.

The staff were extremely helpful. I am 73 Yrs old and not very auto savvy, mechanically speaking.It appeared that a few things were wrong and possibly even fatally so (and expensively so).They had every opportunity to pull the wool an take advantage of me and they did the opposite.Fellis, the manager, was especially great and I will be sure to always use Mavis in the future and will refer anyone who asks.Thank you so very much. +-

Because I was quoted from another repair shop $180 higher on my set of tires for a inferior tire brand. The previous shop also recommended a alingment that was a additional $110 that was not needed. After a incident on the road with my tire blowing out. One my way to my summer vacation with my kids. I made several calls to tire serve providers and my insurance with out any success. I finally came across Mavis tires were very pleasant man named Fellis was able to accommodate me and get me back on the road to enjoy my vacation with my kids. If I could give them 0 stars I would! They lied about fixing my struts and control arms and they never did it. $1500 spent two years ago and to come to find out from 3 different mechanic companies that those struts were never changed. Not to mention it took them 3 visits to get everything done. Because they didn’t have the time. BEWARE! Please don’t believe all these other reviews.

Overall experience is amazing!! I called the day before to get a quote for tire because I had flat tire. The gentleman was very helpful in giving me a quote and helped me find the best tire recommended for my vehicle. They told me I could be squeezed in that day. Fast forward a couple hours later, I called back to confirm that I could be seen. At the time a lady answered the phone and assisted me with great customer service. Locked in price and even gave me expected wait time. I went in the next day where I was fully assisted by Fellis. Im big on customer service and honesty! Just terrible. I ordered two tires Monday. They called me back to confirm my order. And I confirmed it. They were supposento be there Tuesday by 3pm. I get there and they apparently had canceled my order after they called me to confirm it. And I need these tires. I put all my faith in these people. And I show up Tuesday. To no tires and them giving me.a hard time. And then the guy says he ordered my tires for weds. And I said ill be there by 5 because I work a little later. And he said okay. Someone will be here at 5. I show up at 4:45 and talk to the manager and they have my tires. That were quoted for 65 dollars each. But no mechanic. So no problem for me. I have a nail in my tired and its been patched once. So I made it clear I really need them. So I told the manager that since Ive came here out of my way twice for something they were suppose to have for me. That ill just buy one of the tires and ill put it on myself. Well they quoted me for 65 a tire and then up charge me to 84 a tire. And I only bought one. This is a terrible business. They have no communication through there service and customer service. They wasted my time and money and made me pay more. When it was suppose to be a discount auto store and my original quote of 65. Never going back. And suggest to not use them.
