Someone who grew up in Northern Europe Im always on a look for some good authentic European food when I travel. I was pleasantly surprised to find this hidden gem in Sarasota. This relatively small store offers a big variety of foods from different European countries. Here you can find anything from yummy Latvian cottage cheese to German sardines to famous Russian caviar. Their dali department offers a variety of cold and smoked meats and fish. Ill definitely stop there again next time Im in the area.

Great place; good European food from all over Europe. New Owner is very nice and helpful. Food here is always fresh and always yummy!!! I hardly recommended this store. Please dont wait! Go today or tomorrow and buy some delicious European food or beer for this weekend!!!

Nice selection of mostly Polish food. I was able to sample the kielbasa and ham before buying. Good stuff.I will return.

A definitive place to get Russian food including caviar. They also sell Russian icecream which is way better than most the stuff here.

My husband and I have been here, on several occasions within the last 12 months. We LOVE this place. The owner could not be more helpful, or friendly. My husband bought some blue cheese there, that was simply excellent. We have purchased dried anchovies, honey from Russia, a wonderful chicory and barley malt concentrate, and many, many other things. Dont miss out on this little gem!

The assortment of standard Eastern European goods is available, including Russian dumplings, fresh cheese, salmon roe, and more. Its not a remarkable store, but the woman behind the counter was very friendly, and its in a perfect, convenient spot near downtown Sarasota and Bradenton. Ill be back!

Called here, whoevers answers the phone cannot speak very good english, I talked slower to her so she could understand, then they just hung up on me. NOT a good way to run a business!

I would describe this store as an eastern european essentials store. They have things that youd expect such as sweetened condensed milk, tea, kvass, pelemeni, perogi, soft cheese, sausages, dried fish, soups, pickled vegetables, and a few more. The only thing thats really missing, is an actual deli.

The young brunette who waited on us was so sweet!

Went there once and bought couple of things. One of them was a box of chocolate wafers. When I got home and opened it, there was dead flies in the box. Also her chocolate pudding cup, there was mold in there. Everything in that store is pretty much expired or about to, she still sells it anyway.

Great place for European groceries. Small but has lots of stuff.

I drove a half hour on sunday afternoon just to find a leeter on their door, saying that they will be closed on sundays.
