I was hesitant to revisit the paint pot as it used to be owned by a disagreeable and unhelpful man, but I’m glad I tried again! The current owner was incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable. This is now my paint store. I highly recommend them.

Number one place to get paint for the last 30 years, then they had a bad manager for a while and their selection and service went way down. They have since replaced the management with knowledgeable staff with a great selection of E&J brushes. They are also the only store in town with the top quality Benjamin Moore Aura exterior line. A local company that also delivers!

Just super rude customer service in my opinion and the two workers were arguing with each other and getting upset. It seemed like every thing the one guy said was really rude. Giving 3 stars because the product was fine and maybe they were just having a bad day. But not that great of an experience.

I work at the paint pot. the Associates and i try to make your experience at the paint pot a pleasant one. we strive to make you happy and wanting you to come back. we are sorry that we cant help everyone, but we really try to help.as for the person,who got towed. there are signs at the paint pot, for paint pot customers only. we do this to protect Customers and the Employees, if you decide to ignore the sign, then you should get towed

Horrible horrible horrible experience. For years I gave the paint pot my business and was proud to shop local- not anymore as I will never set foot in the business ever again. I didnt know that they had gone so far downhill! They sold me the wrong stain for my deck and it turned out a fushia color when I applied it on a couple of boards, when I went back and complained they asked me if I had a peice of my deck to prove it to them(come on who carries around a peice of your deck?)and Im certainly not cutting out a peice! After several minutes they finally sold me a stain that was close to what I wanted but was not what I had originally asked for( they upsold me a more expensive stain)anyhow I took back the more expensive stain and they exchanged it for another but did NOT give me back the difference in price! What should have cost me around 120.00 ended up costing me closer to 230.00!I could have gone to ace and gotten way better customer service and a way better price and NO attitude! They acted like they didnt believe me that my deck was pink and like I was lying! I will never go back. Save yourself a huge headache and give your business to ace or Kenyon noble!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED FROM A LOCAL CORNER STORE. Ive been a LONG time patron of the Paint Pot however I will NEVER go back after the WORST customer service from the new management. My wife asked for a gallon of Ben in semi gloss and she was coerced into purchasing the most expensive gallon of paint instead retailing at twice the expense. The paints different base did not match the pre-existing paint already applied to our walls and thus we are stuck. When I questioned the manager named BRUCE why my wife was not sold the paint she asked for, he said it is duty to upsell, upsell, upsell regardless of what the patrons want. He refused to provide a refund or return for the paint we did not ask for or want. My wife was taken advantage of. In fact he HUNG THE PHONE UP on me and did not answer again. He also refused to share the contact information for the store owner prior to hanging up. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED FROM A LOCAL CORNER STORE. Prior to this, I loved the Paint Pot for the personal service and attention to the customers needs. I purchased over 20 gallons of paint in the past two years and still need another 20 gallons in the future. It dumbfounds me how the new management can wreck a good relationship. Amazing how a change in management can ruin long established patronage. NEVER AGAIN WILL I SHOP THERE. Ace Hardware just a few blocks away carries Benjamin Moore and they are helpful and knowledgable.
