I placed an order and was told I would be able to pick them up the next day. I was called the next day and was told they were wrong and it would be the following week. After calling multiple times and not having any luck getting through to the person dealing with my order I went back to the store. I was informed my order would be delayed for two more weeks. There was extremely poor communication between the service desk and me. When my order finally came in they gave me the wrong parts and I was basically told I could do a refund but would not be able to get the part I wanted. Poor customer service and very poor communication. Very disappointed as I have shopped here for years and have never been treated like this in the past.

I visited Kenyon Noble looking for some very specific and unique PVC plumbing parts, and was very pleased to find they had at least a few of almost every PVC fitting and adapter I could ever hope to need. Floor staff was readily available to assist and the store was not crowded.

Keyon Noble bbq cook off. Best ribs fell off the bone. Chicken poppers were awesome. BEST bacon wrapped oreo. Yesterdays were fantastic. 2day they got charred- not on purpose- n the charred bacon n charred chocolate cookie part were decadent. That slightly burntness was the difference of flavor over yesterday oreo. Those that like some char would go crazy on the tastyness of the two blends. These were yesterdays. Cant remember the company though. Mayb Keyon Noble would know

Went in with a shopping list for our business. Stephanie did a great job getting everything on the list, she was fast, efficient, and very helpful in explaining differences between the products. Her positivity and service made it a pleasure and much easier than I was anticipating. I work at a local business and will continue to shop at Kenyon Noble rather than the box department stores. Hey, they might wear masks inside the store, but otherwise they consider masks a waste of time. 2 employees ahead of me at the Wendys were coughing as they placed their order, with no attempt to cover. Thanks for that. While I was on my job, I was near a construction site with Noble employees. They were mocking a fellow worker for wearing a mask, calling him a coward. Lots of different places to do my shopping. Kenyon Noble doesnt give a damn about your health. Try another business.

My brother turned me on to Kenyon when I was searching for parts and materials and I find them to be quite good. I find their popcorn machine to be very enjoyable. Friendly Staff, competitive market prices. My last visit they had Led Zeppelin playing which I have to give them high marks for. Well Done Kenyon Noble. Keep up the good work.

This store is very large with an excellent power and hand tool selection. All the major brands are covered with a nice selection of each. Its always enjoyable to see all the new toys that each manufacturer has to offer and these guys definitely bring them out for you to look at. They workers are very polite and always willing to help you find what you need in a timely manner. If you are looking for a one shop stop this hardware store definitely has it all. Try it yourself and see.

Im sorry to say that this experience wasnt up to expectations. The only thing that went as expected was the gentleman at the register. He was older, kind, and helpful. When I went into the lumber bay, it seemed everyone was more interested in going home than helping me. The two young men who removed the sheet of plywood had to be told 4 times where I wanted it cut and before the second cut could be made, the cord to the saw fell apart. My wood was dropped and a corner of the sanded side split off. I pointed it out, but neither of them offered to get me a new piece of wood. I showed them where to put the wood, but it was put in backwards and when I complained about it, one of them ran off and left the other to handle it alone. Before I could get into my van and leave, the exit gate had been closed without anyone checking to see if all customers were gone. I had to drive around the yard and exit through the entrance only gate, where I ran into oncoming traffic. I am very dissatisfied with that visit and considering returning to the store to talk to the manager about replacing my wood.

Decking order and delivery has been a nightmare! Going on 2 months and they have not been able follow through on even the simplest parts of the order. Pressure treated lumber that was delivered was incomplete and over half of it was cracked, warped or otherwise unusable. Only 1 of 7 sonotubes were delivered. Miscount on the number of bags of concrete. In stock decking was not actually in stock, so special order, now Im being told that it was delivered in the first delivery (it wasnt!). Phone calls not returned. I know that everything is behind with Covid, but there is zero inventory or quality control. Incomplete deliveries were never reported back to the yard or project desk. Ive ordered thousands of dollars of windows and doors with KN, but Ive now lost complete confidence. Perhaps still fine for a tool or a rake, but dont use them unless you pick out the materials and drive away with them.

Ok for lumber, but the hardware store stinks. Inventory control is terrible, with tons of items perpetually out of stock, and prices that ring up wrong or are not marked. Often you will pay for something in the yard and get out to find the bay empty. Luckily lowes is nearby because I almost always need to go to another store to get what they are out of stock of. Employee turnover is very high so finding knowledgeable staff who knows where anything is stocked is hard.

Nice n clean n pretty friendly cashier helper on floor knew nothing bout chains n or hooks for a trailer. Asked as nicely if anyone could save my but as I broke my landlords safety chain on a trailer he borrowed me. Ended up leaving without any chain or info of how to fix my problem.

The front line staff is grumpy 60% of the time but the other 40% youll get polite service. When talking to the right people in the store you can count on construction advice you can trust. So if at first you dont succeed in finding someone nice, try and try again.

Definitely go here for lumber. Kenyon tends to get a lot better wood than Home Depot or Lowe’s. I wish there was a better selection of fixtures for remodeling at Kenyon. Lights, sinks, cabinets... I love to shop here but because of the lack of selection I do end up buying some things elsewhere.

Having broke down in the parking lot of the Bozeman Store a young employee named Landon Dull saw me with the hood up and asked if I needed a jump. It was a electrical problem and he helped me for 3 hours. We couldnt fix it so he drove me 10 miles to my campground and came back and got me on his lunch break today to meet the tow truck. He went way above the call of duty and he found me a repair shop in Belgrade that his friend Jimmy works at. Jimmy is a electrical genius and I and so honored and privileged to get to befriend these two men. You are so fortunate to have these men as employees. My gf and I have been so blessed to meet such wonderful people. The thought of being stranded and the expense of fixing the truck seems like a Godsend in ways. To meet the caliper of people we have met and who selflessly helped us has been the greatest experience. We make plans each day where we go and have a general timetable and ask God to protect us. When that timetable is delayedor interrupted we think there is a higher power delaying us for a reason and there is no need questioning it. For some reason we were destined to meet these young men and the kindness they have shown me will remain with me forever. God Bless you all. Come see us in WV.

Happened to stop by today while they were having a BBQ expo ok fine I still need a new weed trimmer. I finally found someone with the help of the Yeti rep (nice guy) I ask is there actually any stock of trimmers available. He says “I don’t mean to be rude but this is the worse day to ask that, I can’t really help you.” I’ve bought countless tools and lumber here but you lost a customer.

Ive been looking at buying some power tools so I thought if the prices were similar Id shop locally. They might be, but I cant get anyone to answer a simple question. I called twice yesterday and left messages. Today I went in and while there was staff in the store, they didnt seem to know anything nor want to find out. Its disappointing that Home Depot has better service than KN.

I came in the other day to buy wood for an outside project and the cashier Cassidy was very helpful and smiley. She asked me what type of wood I needed and I told her I wasn’t sure. So she asked me what I was doing with the lumber and I explained the project, she pulled out her “notes” (as she called them) and listed off a few types of wood and what they were good and bad for. After weighing the prices against one another with her, I finally got the right stuff and the project truly turned out better than expected.

Our business always tries to buy local whenever possible, but after countless poor experiences in every department, I only shop here when there is no other choice. Contractor sales department is a joke. Most recently, it took four different employees, at least a dozen phone calls, four trips to two different warehouses, and four months to finally get a couple patio and storm doors. Departments dont communicate. Every employee passes a problem off to the next. No one ever calls back, even when they promise to do so. Takes a crowbar to get the girl in the lighting department to stop playing candy crush and get her out of her chair to help with something. And I could go on. Suggestions: Hire better employees, or pay the ones you have better, because I have yet to find a single one that cares, including management. Update your antiquated inventory system. I cant tell you how many times I order something inside, then drive out to the warehouse only to find out that they dont actually have it. Then you have to go back inside to deal with another unapplogetic employee to get credit. These are not isolated incidents, and I am not the type of person that hides behind a computer screen and leaves a bad review. These problems run throughout the business, and I have tried to voice my frustrations in the store, but it always falls on deaf ears. Only posting this in hopes that someone (maybe an owner) sees it and makes some changes. As they say, time is money, and Kenyon has waisted too much of ours. Im done.

This one star rating is for Jennifer in the HR department. One of the most unpleasant people I have ever had to deal with, even though I only communicated with her via phone. Im sure most of the actual employees are much nicer than that miserable woman. My advice, get a new HR person. Last time I checked, Human Resources employees are supposed to be helpful & NICE!

Ive been going to Kenyon since it was on Mendenhall and its a great local hardware store but it seems that as theyve grown customer service and employee expertise has dwindled. Cashiers for the most part are slow, apathetic and uninterested in doing nothing but the bare minimum to help. And unless youre standing in the main isle good luck finding anyone with expertise to find what youre looking for

I have ventured to Kenyon Noble over the last 6 months for various dimensional lumber. As like the last few times I’ve been rung up by the Head Cashier, Tracy. She has been rude and unhelpful with questions I had when purchasing lumber. Each time I’ve visited I am unfortunately unable to remember which lumber is the “higher” quality of the two. Each time I’ve asked the question “which is the more expensive, higher quality lumber?” Each time I receive a very rude “its framing lumber and we cannot guarantee the quality.” While I understand the business cannot guarantee the quality, and that a cashier does not need to know specifications on lumber grading, her attitude continues to be very unfriendly and was unwilling to offer any additional help or even greet me in a friendly manner. Each experience and transaction I’ve had with her has resulted in me feeling as though I’m pestering her with my business and questions.

Kenyon noble definitely a downgrade in quality seems like they are only interested in high volume sales to cheap builders. Richard in the paint department is knowledgeable but worst customer service ever. They swear up and down Do it best kitchen and bath is the best trim paint on the market. I was expecting something like BM advance, cabinet coat or regal especially for the price! But I open the can and its garbage! Latex-y soft resin that marks up easy, low adhesion and doesnt brush out worth a damn. These guys lie to your face and tell you its made of gold!I will be shopping at a real paint store next time!(Update 8/2018) so i gave kenyon another chance. Called the paint department (which always takes forever to get anyone; seriously you might as well just drive across town before picking up the phone). Asked to check product inventory for a Dalys product I know Kenyon Noble, and several other paint stores, stocks. Employee after several minutes on hold told me he couldnt find it on the shelf and to call back in the morning. No Im not going to call back we will buy it somewhere else! What a joke! How is it that I know your inventory better than your own employees?!I have read through some other reviews and the lack of response from the owners is quite telling. Quality product and well trained staff is not a high priority for Kenyon Noble!

Forgo the so-called local option in Kenyon Noble and go to Home Depot. They have very poor customer service. Communication between their employees is also clearly poor. I worked with their project center to get a new front door and storm door. They ordered the wrong storm door and refused to replace it. Full disclosure- my contractor had already installed the door, but I dont believe this is a good excuse for them to not correct their error. Whenever I have called in they never can answer questions related to my order. They generally defer to another employee, saying this other person will call me back. Ive come to expect a call back in about two days and I have often had to travel to their store and talk to them in person to get anything done.

I wish I could give a lower review. These idiots have been jerking me around for the last six weeks. Michael, the metal salesman, is a moron and knows nothing about the product he is selling. My attempt to order sheet metal took several days of him calling and ask questions about my order that should have been dealt with while I was talking with him in person placing the order. He also lied to my face (that or hes a lot dumber than I thought) and said he would have to wait until the following day to place my order because the supplier is in a different time zone and was closed for the day (This was at 3:00PM on a Wed. in Bozeman, the supplier is in Washington, where it would have been 2:00PM on a Wed.) If he had attempted to contact the supplier and place the order with me there in front of him, then he would not have needed to call me multiple times over the next few days to ask questions about my order that he should have known to ask in the first place, and my order may have come in much sooner. Then when my order finally came in they did not contact me ( I had to call and bug them) and part of it was damaged, (I know this because when I picked up the undamaged part of my order, the sheets that had been bent to hell were sitting right beside them waiting to be returned.) They still, to this day, have not admitted that my sheets came in damaged and are still claiming ignorance as to where the missing part of my order is. I placed the order June 21, 2017, it is now August 5, 2017 and I have still not gotten answers or even a little bit of customer service. Today, I went into the store in person to attempt to get some help. I was told someone would be right out to talk with me. I stood around for the next 30 min being ignored and treated rudely, only to be told Michael, the idiot salesman, will call me on Monday. This company is nothing but a bunch of morons who are a pain to do business with and have no idea what customer service is. And to top it all off my project is stalled because we cannot continue without the missing pieces of the order. Thanks for ruining my summer Kenyon Noble.

Kenyon knoble just started charging for delivery. They may not tell you that they are adding this $50 charge. And will not work with you to dispute the charge because they stated your total. I will not be using Kenyon knoble in the future because they were not clear, and I have always ordered from them because they do not have a delivery fee.

I recently had the misfortune of buying some plywood and such at Kenyon. The contractor picked out the materials and then I went in, paid for them and he picked them up when they were paid for.The reason they got 2 stars instead of 1 is at least they had the material I needed but then so do a whole lot of other places in Bozeman for future reference so 1 star is probably a more accurate reflection of my overall experience with these folks.The problems started after the supplies were paid for and picked up. Several days later the contractor was billed for the same materials Id already paid for. I was sure it was a simple mistake that should be able to be resolved with a phone call, after all I had the invoice in my hand right?.....Wrong!On the second call made I went up the food chain to a floor manager that assured me that he would take care of the issue himself and call me back when it was taken care of... Wrong! No call.After a reasonable period of time had passed and I knew a call was never coming and a second bill showed up at the contractors I tried to call again (4th attempt to resolve a simple double billing issue???). I got to the billing dept and tried to explain to the little girl they had answering the phone that I wished to speak to a dept head and didnt wish to go through my tale of woe yet again unless it was to a manager. She was obviously trained to keep people from speaking to managers whether they want to or not and she kept trying to get me to explain my problem to her so she could take a run at it. Having already made 4 attempts to resolve this and even having a manager promise me a call back and not I did not feel like starting all over with this kid. The more she dug her feet in and was absolutely not going to allow my call to get past her desk the more frustrated I got! I know by that time the frustration I was feeling over her absolute refusal to pass my call on was showing in my voice but I have grand kids and I have daughters so I was respectful and at no time swore or in anyway insulted this kid even though she was starting to get petulant at my refusal to do things her way and it was most annoying! I was not going to be dissuaded from talking to a dept head this time after not getting call backs or anyone being able to take a simple invoice number and seeing it was paid in full, removing it from a bill so I persisted.Suddenly I found I was talking to myself, yup! The little gal got cranky at my insistence polite though it was and hung up on me! Obviously well trained children answering the phone at KN.Ive now got hours involved in what was such an obvious mistake it should have been handled in the first 2 minute phone call but NO, so I called back yet again. This time I spoke with the gentleman that I should have been turned over to on the very first call, his explanation made sense and I was assured the issue is resolved. One can only hope!With all the other great places to do business with in Bozeman I can assure you I will never have to deal with a problem like this at Kenyon Noble again...EVER!....Kenyon who??
