These guys in Bossier City are the absolute best! Dad’s riding mower wasn’t working and we brought it to them. They were very patient, helped unload it found the problem quickly and fixed it on the spot. And didn’t charge him for the repair. Even gave us a free soda to cool off.I highly recommend them for all of your lawn equipment and hardware needs.

My husband went by to ask a simple question regarding the front tire on our lawnmower and the lady behind the counter screamed at him and said she did not have time to answer his question. My husband being the person he is went out and helped a man load his lawnmower and then walked back in...and the lady screamed at him again I told you I didnt have time to answer any questions so he walked out and we will never go back! The owner better work on getting him some polite and helpful employees or his business will be down the tunes fast at this rate!

I went to Swan Lake Hardware looking for a specific item. The store had it in-stock. I picked up a few additional items, and the two employees working up front were friendly, helpful, and fast.

I called in advance to make sure they had the parts I needed and the prices. After several minutes the friendly voice assured me that they did in deed have the 2 parts I needed and quoted me $40.00 for one part. I had a friend run me up there on his lunch break so thats why I informed the polite young man on the phone that I was on my way, if he wouldnt mind holding them. When I get there the poo art was not pulled and he had to look it up again, go to the back, and find it.needless to say, it was not the polite young man I had spoken with on the phone. After he finally returned to the register with both parts, one was wrong, and the other was almost twice what he had quoted me over the phone. I should also mention that the parts were for a lawn tractor that was purchased brand new from Swan lake hardware & I had all the paperwork in mint condition, including schematics and part nos the 40.00 belt, was 73.89 after tax. And my friend that gave me a ride on his lunch break, he was almost as mad as his boss was, I hope he didnt get in trouble.

I took my lawn mower in because the pull string came out but still in tact.Called and Keith said that they could fix it for $40, so took the lawn mower up there a week ago. Keith said would be done by tomorrow and put up a $50 deposit. Next day nothing and maybe Saturday but no answer. Monday no answer and finally Tuesday, The Manager gave me one quote five days later of $95 to fix the lawn mower. Called to pick it up on Wednesday and not done, because she dont work there no more. Said would get to fixing it, and Keith called with a quote of $155 after they broke the housing the blade bolt, etc. this morning. Over a week later. I am just going to get my mower that only needed a pull sting that is now in pieces. BEWARE!

Took my Cub Cadet in to have some repairs. Excellent customer service. Mechanic seemed to be very knowledgible. I must give credit to him for refusing to remove some safty features that I hate. Very fair price and work was finished well before I anticipated.

Walked in for 2 seconds and the young lady screams from behind the counter how can she help me as if i was looking suspicious. Asked her about the lawn mower outside, she wouldnt even walk out and show me . She attempted to get chris to help me and he said he had 15 things going on. So i politely walked out and said thank you but no thanks!Wouldnt recommend this place , not worth the stop!!!

Tried to give my business to locals and they are lacking in customer service badly. They treat you as if they are the only ones that know anything and no one knows how to repair their own equipment, I just needed parts and they couldn’t even get them ordered after three trips there. Never again!

Slow mechanic ; front desk apparently understands but can not do nothing about it expect understand the situation. Was told tractor would take about a month to fix due to orders that were ahead of me. Now it has been since April 20th and still have not finished my repairs.. Will not use them ever again. UNSATISFIED !!! 0 stars if I could. Nobody likes being lied to, dishonest mechanic with no desire to work. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME WITH THESE FOLKS. #SwanLakeLazyWare

WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!DO NOT USE THIS STORE!!!I used this store with the hopes that the other reviews were wrong on google. Boy did I make a mistake. I ordered a part over the phone. No one told me there were no returns. What store has ZERO returns, especially for a part that I have not even picked up yet???? The other shop I ordered online from DOES ACCEPT RETURNS and tells you about it upfront, so use a reputable store instead of this sleazy low life place. The owner tried to ridicule me about expecting them to take a return, when its A PART THAT I HAVE NOT PICKED UP YET!!! Literally it has not even come in yet. He claims they have signs in the store that say no returns, but yet on the phone not a single person mentioned it. I lost over 100 dollars over the deal, so dont be the next sucker that this store gets your money from. RUN FAR AWAY!!!

If you make the mistake of not price shopping and pay twice as much for a part dont expect to take it back and get your money back. The employee was trying to be as helpful as possible but the owners are rude af and just walked away.

The staff was helpful in finding what I needed. There is a very nice girl that will go through thick & thin to do everything to help you. Also,the mechanic in the back knows everything there is to know about mowers. they need to keep him for ever!!!! I dropped my mower off on a monday & it was ready by that next monday,this was during the busy season too!!! Everytime I go in there,they always have what I need. Would recommend going there for all your hardware & mower needs.

My husband and I have been shopping here for about three years. When we first started shopping here there was a very very rude girl named Niki working in the front and the men in the shop were so bad my husband swore we would never return ! Then out of pure necessity I had to stop in one day and I met Jennifer. She was great. She would help me in any way she could, find anything I might need, and as they say if she didnt have it she always got it for me. One day she told me that her husband was going to start working there, shorty after I meet him I could understand how they could work together. Honestly they are great! He convinced me to make my husband come and talk to him about the horrible service he received in the shop. My husband was not nice at all, he told him that our mower was there for weeks, everyone was rude and we should have read the reviews! He just stood there and listened, then he told him his name was Pat and give him just one chance to make it right ! My husband listened for once and he was more than happy! Pat did every thing he promised and more! Needless to say we were thrilled to finally have a family working at a family business. We went out of town for a few weeks, when we returned they were GONE ! The suppose to be manager TIM told me they just were not working out so he moved them to the other store. I find that real hard to believe ! The point to all this is, I have been in twice and the people I have to deal with men and women are incompetent! It is real sad because I do not have the gas to drive to Shreveport to get good service! and there is no way in HELL my husband will leave his lawnmower with anyone but Pat! Please trust this 50 year old couple with 4 kids, unless they come back your experience at Swan Lake Hardware will be a bad one! Please dont do like me and not read the reviews!

I ordered a idler pulley for my dads mower, did not pay attention to the price till dad asked me how much it cost, I looked and they had charged me 30 dollars, left there and went by bossier power equipment and they sold the same pully for under 10 dollars. Wont go back to swan lake

They have 1 great young lady up front handling things and a lawnmower God they hide away out back. Take away them two and I have no care or reason to go back ! Owner/management ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE !

Had our riding mower in swan lake hardware for 6 weeks. Heard nothing from these guys. Went and picked it up, and they hadnt even touched the dang thing.

Dont bother calling. it dumps you to voicemail, which is currently full, and disconnects you.Great service (not)When they go out of business, they will blame the big big stores instead of looking at themselves.Sad

Staff were helpful and friendly. Tune up was a little pricey but the owner was very helpful and willing to pick up my mower twice to get it fixed.

Transferred me to 3 different people and asked me to tell each one my model number and type mower just to get a mower blade . I finally gave up and just hung up..

Take your equipment to be repaired here if you want it to end up be lost/STOLEN by the crooks that work here. They are full of lies and are masters at giving you the runaround. Said they were replacing what they lost and somehow ended up losing the replacement (meaning they never even considered replaced it). Crooks and liars and manipulators. Please save yourself the time and your MONEY and go somewhere else.
