There is so much wrong with Black Rhino I dont even know where to begin; let me first begin with the fact that I have been waiting almost a year to have new windows installed. The owner has had multiple teams sent to my house and on two separate occasions the workers came totally unprepared, no one spoke english and they decided top leave without doing anything and leaving my window outside in the rain. They dont return calls and always make excuses as to where products are, in all honesty I cannot believe people still choose to use them after reading some reviews. I have other friends who have used their services and we were all so beyond disappointed, I will tell everyone and anyone to use literally anyone else. Unless you want your project to take months and be totally overcharged use Black Rhino, if not RUN THE OTHER WAY AND CHOOSE ANYONE ELSE!!!!

Needed an upgrade after the hurricane and reached out. Staff was prompt with my estimate and friendly and virtuous upon installation. From initial contact to installation, I couldn’t have found a better company to work with.

I have called twice now and left message for owner to call me about status of our part that he told my daughters boyfriend it was under warranty and he would mail it out on Monday which was Oct. 30th. We are only a 2 hour drive from Boca Raton so today is Nov. 8th I would think the post office would have made it here by horse and buggy by now and yes I payed for hurricane shutter in full right in the beginning. So, I will leave this message for anyone to read until we get the part. I hate to see it come down to this and I understand people get busy, but if I dont hear back from anyone and it goes to the answering machine every time hopefully this will cost him a few $$$.

Several years ago he came over to assess my window needs and provide a quote. He seemed friendly but I got a lot of slimy sales talk. Several times I asked if he was an approved PGT installer. He said yes. When he left, I called PGT and got a list of their approved resellers / installers. He wasnt on the list. I called them to confirm, nope! PGT had no record of him or his company... Id avoid him, hes liar. Way too may other vendors out there to choose from.

Management changed here and they are awful. They installed shutters on our small apartment in January/February 2018. The shutters are controlled by a remote and got stuck in the up position. They came out to Fix it and burnt out the motor. They now told us that they terminated their relationship with the motor company and we are out of luck. $5000 down the tube to an incompetent company.

I received an estimate from Alex Makenian, President of Black Rhino. He said he would follow up with a written estimate. That was 3 weeks ago and still no estimate. I called two weeks ago to inquire. I called this past week and left a message. No answer. No return call. I was planning to use this company to place shutters on my windows in a condo. It appears to me my business was not big enough for them even though I was told he does not treat anyone differently. Well, that appears to be untrue. Never heard back from them. Poor business practice. They should have been honest and said that my job was too small for them. Instead, they have ignored my inquiries and not returned calls. When you give your word, it should mean something. Apparently with Black Rhino, it means nothing.

I am going to say this that not only are the prices good but there service is great.....Thanks Hector for a great job....

These people gave me a quote, never showed up, and when I call, they tell me quote is off by over 100 square feet because of the systems calculation. Please be serious and respect peoples time. In my friends house after a month, the shutters are still in the floor due to paper work they didnt do before starting the work.

For the people who are putting 1 star. My dad didnt call you back because you guys are too annoying to deal with! You argue and argue and hes sick of the people who try to rip off him and not pay him AFTER he does the job so dont be rude because this its not his fault you guys try to rip him off.

Dont deal with this company. He is unscrupulous. He only received one star because it wouldnt post my review with none.
