First off let me say the table is nice we liked it. Now about American freight furniture it’s a really nice place to go and get furniture and the house wears for a very affordable price. Fort Wayne is not that big of a city to travel around and get things but some people don’t like to travel very far they like to stay in the community and that’s where the problem May lay with American freight being a little out of the city limits. So if they could move closer that would be nice and if they can’t I guess we’ll have to figure out a way. Last but not least I think they should offer senior military and first responder discounts. I bought quite a few things from here. I did go the cheap route so like the saying goes you get what you pay for. The couch seemed to be worn out less than a month after we got it. The futon is extremely uncomfortable, which is sad because I actually bought the most expensive one they had. The coffee table and end tables are very nice and I was upgraded because after I made my purchase they realized the ones I ordered werent in stock. The area rug is very nice and of good quality. But the woman who helped me is what made my experience worth it. Unfortunately I cant remember her name, but she went above and beyond for my son and I. She was very helpful, running back and forth checking on items for us. This was actually the first time we were able to afford new furniture we bought ourselves, weve always just had hand me downs or bought used items off Craigslist, so it was a very exciting experience for us, and she made it that much more wonderful. Thank you!*side note* I went and found my sales receipt because it was important and the sales woman name is amber. Thank you amber, you may not even have realized, but you made our experience great.

They lied to me about have a warranty. They said that I could get a warranty for $70.00 on a mattress and they would give me a mattress protector for free. When I got home the paperwork said that American Freight dosnt warranty any mattresses and.I paid $70.00 for the supposed free mattress protector. Beware going here. Read all paperwork before you leave. I will never go there again.
Great Furniture on all the prices could be better I wish there was delivery and I wish they would remove old furniture get it out but all in all I like them so I have to give you guys a 3 as well

I got a twin bed and box spring delivered to me I was happy they were willing to work with me when I couldn’t be home for the delivery time however, when I got to the portion of setting up the bed for my son in his room a very large rat fell out of the plastic still alive I might add. I couldn’t even call about it because it was after hours. This was supposed to be a brand new bed I shouldn’t have had a rat fall out of it. I had to take a video of the empty room with the rat and nothing was in there besides the plastic from the bed the bed itself and the frame I hope this can be resolved when I call tomorrow morning but I will never order here again this was my first experience even ordering brand new furniture and I am probably now gonna have PTSD with any more new furniture I have to buy.

Finding the right couch can be difficult. Luckily, I checked out this American Freight location and found a quality sectional that checked all my boxes. While it was warm browsing their AC-less warehouse in the late summer heat, the customer service there was great. And better yet, the price was fair. The sectional took about 2 months to be made and arrive in my living room from the time of purchase. Delivery is extra if you choose to use their 3rd party service. For another $85, I did accept their delivery option. Jerry Hunt, owner of 360 Solutions LLC, delivered my couch on time, with good communication, and without defects. I will use his delivery service again in the future. In conclusion, Im very happy with my new couch and the service I received!

Went to buy a couch today and witnessed an entire family walking in without masks. Will not buy from here. Theres also glass and trash all around the parking lot. Absolutely disgusting.

The people there are pretty helpful and nice and they have good prices and decent selection. The warehouse isnt that nice of a place to be in but I dont really expect much from that kind of store anyway. The only bad thing is that it seems like theyre out of stock of everything I want at the time Im there to buy something so I either have to wait or get something else
When I needed furniture for a new apartment a state away I was able to get everything I needed from one place. Not only is everything of great quality but at a great price too. The staff was very helpful in fulfilling my order!
Cheap furniture, and NO pressure sales (they pretty much ignore you, but will help if you ask). If youre low on dough and dont need furniture that will last for more than a few years, its worth a look.
I would not buy anything from here their furniture is cheap and then when you have a problem with the furniture they wont stand behind their warranty and fix it so buyer be aware dont buy anything here

Bought a couch and loveseat from the store in Fort Wayne. It is the most uncomfortable thing I have ever sat on. The guy at the store told me it would loosen up but it hasnt. For $1500 the only thing its good for is to look at. Will never spend another dime in there!
We paid more for our mattress and foundation than we thought we would but in looking around town it was still one of the better deals out there. The store was cluttered with boxes and had a display rack of large floor rugs that none of the employees seemed to know anything about. We were told they were sent the display and rugs with instructions to get it out on the floor, but they had no inventory to sell from it and couldnt answer any questions. Not the stores fault - this is an oversight on corporate. The manager here took a few dollars off off the mattress & foundation we bought since the one we wanted wasnt expected to be back in stock due to Covid-19 shut downs for somewhere between 3-5 weeks (or more). We appreciate the willingness to work with us.
UNBELIEVABLY UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, AND DISRESPECTFUL!!! Someone either train the uneducated staff of this store the to learn the difference between a comfort firm mattress and Ultra Plush mattress by the same manufacturer, because even though they know how to read and rudely responds to a customer with learn how to read, they obviously dont know they difference between the two! YES!! THAT just happened! Their floor representative said to me and I quote LEARN HOW TO READ!! SMH!!! what?? My education is not the problem, yours is!!!
WARNING I don’t necessarily have a problem with the company, but I have a problem with the financing of their products. If you don’t pay the product in the amount of time received, the payment will double and then some. I was unaware of this, I just figured they would be regular interest fees. 1,000 will turn into 3,000 payments so it’s better to buy in full amount.

They will sell you a warranty and preach that it covers anything for several years! Not even a year in, we reached out. We then had to take pictures, write a request and wait. It has been months and no response! They lie and do not follow through with the products they sell.
I broke my back 11 yrs ago so I needed something that would work with my Sleep Number adjustable frame. The associate was very helpful and I came home with a fantastic mattress that I have fallen in love with. I actually sleep better on the memory foam hybrid mattress than the Sleep Number and at half the cost too!
Would not sell the floor model that we wanted. Told us they would order it for us let cash walk out the door. Good job management...

I purchased a couch in October of 2019 and was Sold and delivered the wrong one. I was told they would give me $100 off for bringing me the wrong couch (a $1600 couch I purchased). I declined and stated I wanted the couch I picked out. I had to wait another two hours before they brought the correct one. Now we’re in to March and I call to find out my payoff amount and am told it’s $3,000. I ask why it’s so much that it must be incorrect and am told that I had to pay off the couch in January or they would give me fees and it’s too late now to take them off. No one in the store ever told me the financing worked this way for purchasing and financing a couch through them. And not one person got a hold of me from the financing company to tell me that my purchase time was coming up. So now I’m stuck paying over $4,600 for a couch!!! Do not buy here.
This place is huge and has great deals on furniture and home pieces. We stopped by just to check it out and made it very clear we were just browsing. The sales person still continued to follow us through the entire store as my boyfriend tried out ALL of the couches and chairs. We just thought they were a little pushy and didnt give us a chance to experience the furniture. They have a huge stock and everything is just waiting for you to pick it out.
The staff was very pleasant when needing to get an issues resolved and went above in beyond in the customer service area. Matt and Amber are both very genuine and respect the customers needs. I love the furniture that was bought and would recommend American Freight to anyone wanting to save money and still get fantastic furniture at the fraction of the cost of other furniture places.

My family bought mattresses from here and they were quite expensive. THEN they asked if he wanted a warranty!! What a warranty dont go with them??? WOW! Thats all I got to say!!!

Spent good money for the manufacturer to not honor their warranty. Why would a company sell an item if the manufacturer wont so much as respond to a warranty claim made through American Freight? Its been 1.5 months and Standard Furniture has not responded to a single email inquiry about the warranty. I am not saying American is 100% to blame but you should represent the items you sell and not continue to sell them if the manufacturer will not honor their own warranty. For that i would not recommend buying anything made by Standard Furniture from American Freight.

We purchased 6 items and paid for delivery. Two men came and they had a dog who kept barking in their truck. They delivered our things and we paid 80$ for delivery plus 20$ tip. As they were leaving, we noticed we were missing 2 mattresses. They said they could bring them later, but nothing was guaranteed and they would not be able to come back the same day. We needed those mattresses for my children to sleep on that night, so we drove across the city to get them ourselves since they couldnt be delivered that day. We got there and the employees were extremely rude. Their delivery men lied to them saying we offered to take the time to get them and did not offer is any compensation. LIES. Do not trust this company. They allow men to drive around with animals with them--who barked and growled at every neighbor who walked by, and if they forget YOUR items, its up to you to get them if you want what you paid for the same day. Very unprofessional. I will also need to touch up all the areas on our walls where they made dents and scratches in our newly built home. They are pleasant and on your side until they have your money in their pockets, after that, BEWARE!
Everyone Ive talked to at this location has been very helpful. I ordered for pickup, and was able to make payments easily, and arrange a day for me to pick up my mattress and box spring without trouble. Their prices are fair and the employees are very nice. I will give them my business again.
We walked in 30 minutes before close and were treated as if we were there at open. We dealt with Matt and were so impressed with his customer service and kindness. Everyone we dealt with there was friendly and professional. I cant speak to the value of the furniture yet but the service was 5 stars!

I got my couch.......however I suggest buyer beware - I had gotten a call on 11/17/17 saying my couch was ready for delivery - literally had to wait a full month to get my couch in stock...... I was quoted a $69 fee to have the couch delivered and my old couch removed for 11/18 for 3 pm because I was assuming Id be home at 230..i came home early on 11/18/17 asking if I could have the couch delivered earlier..... and I was charged an extra $30 to have my couch removed and delivered because it was raining and the 3rd party driver didnt want to get rained on.....buyer beware for weather conditions you cant handle...I am definitely considering contacting the Better Business Bureau - I was charged extra just because it was raining!!..AGAIN BUYER BEWARE

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I received the worst customer service ever. Not only from the store but also the corporate customer service line. Susan from customer service hung up on me 4 times when I called repeatedly to get my daughter the furniture we had ordered. I gave up on that. Not only did they claim we ordered something different than we did, they would not return the items we received so we could get the correct items. I paid the extra $79 for delivery and ended up having to go to the store myself to pick up the last of the items. No offer of a refund what so ever. It took well over a month to get all the pieces they say we paid for so my daughter only have half a bedroom for that time. The only good thing I have to say is that Juan Jr was very polite when I did have to go to the store to get the piece. I would NEVER suggest this business to anyone. I will be buying the rest of my furniture at a store that I feel I can trust.
You have to pay for every piece you buy.they have one price but when you are done you pay for everything separately and once the furniture leaves the store you can not return the furniture if you finance the furniture. The manager is rude and full of himself and doesn’t know how to keep the customers going back.pay very close attention to your paperwork before you sign anything and know that there are two types of warranty’s so if you decline one make sure it’s not on your paperwork they are just like salesman FAST TALKERS!!

My original post was done while in store to get $15 off, but after the hassles Ive had in trying to put the dining room set together I decided to edit this.First, 2 of the 4 chairs have legs that are uneven. One chair wobbles about an inch and the other about half inch. Second, the bench I paid extra for came with no hardware. I contacted the store and their solution was to bring the chairs in so they could tighten the hardware for me. I had to explain that it wasnt a matter of loose hardware and that it was a manufacturing defect and I wanted 2 new chairs.Unfortunately, they were not willing to do anything for me as I am now without a table to use for my family of 4 until I can get back to their store to swap out products. I asked for them to deliver the replacements and the manager laughed at me and stated they dont work for free. He did however offer in store credit for my next purchase...yeah right, like I want to give you my business again.Overall the majority of my purchase looks nice and Im very happy with it. But the lack of care for customer service and the gamble with parts is enough to keep me from spending my money there again. You know their customer service is bad when you can get better results with Comcast.
It was affordable, we got a lot more for our money versus having to try and get financing some other place and pay a lot more for a lot longer. The staff was very helpful and answered all our questions! Well be going back there to do more business with them!
Huge selection but you have to watch what youre buying. My living room group didnt last too long. I bought cheap, I got cheap. Shop carefully. My sofa was made from thin wood, staples, and cardboard. No kidding. The upholstery was the best thing on it. StIck with US made QUALITY. WARNING: Its not all quality. Brands like Simmons that used to be great... Not so good anymore.
The employees are great and helpful,, its the company its self. You get the run around. Got our love seat and couch. Having to wait on our two oversized chairs now going on 1 month and 2 weeks and one chair is in and not the other.

GREAT experience! I dont think Ive had a sales person go out of the way to make sure I was happy like I did there. I Dealt with James and Larry, I was there for about 3 hrs trying to decide what I wanted. I had a lot of questions and Larry answered all of them. James moved SEVERAL items clear across the warehouse for me just so I could see them next to each other. I finally made a decision after a a few hours, and got an Awesome deal. Very happy!

Very impersonal. Theyre interested more in the sale than in the person.Well, time for another comment. After about 6 months with the furniture I bought from them, the arm of the sofa became loose. It was a living room set that cost about $800. Even had it delivered for an extra $80. I called them and their solution was for me to bring the piece back to them. Nice thought, but I had it delivered because by myself I couldnt get it to my house and because I have a back issue I couldnt have done it anyway. After explaining that, they still couldnt help me unless I brought the sofa to them. I ended up buying another set elsewhere. I took the sofa apart to find out what went wrong. Instead of being securely fastened to the frame, staples, 1 x 1 hardwood, and... get this... cardboard was used in securing the arm. Thats what I spent $800 for six months of use and a retailer that was more interested in the bottom line than selling a quality product. Or even recommending one. I ended up buying a set of used This End Up furniture that I believe will last longer than I will. I didnt give them zero stars because they were willing to take care of me under a warranty, but not one that the average person could take advantage of.
I was not very impressed with this store. The selection wasnt very good, the prices were a lot higher than youd expect from the way they advertise, the condition of the building and the quality if the furniture. Also, the one couch I was remotely interested in would take thirty days to even get in and then Id have to pay $69 to get it delivered three miles away!!! NO THANKS!!

I purchased a bed that I liked in the showroom. My customer service rep was very helpful. What I did not like was that when my bed was delivered, it had a chip in one of the sideboards. I called American Frieght and I was instructed to take pictures and email the owner. I did that and this has been two weeks ago, still no response. I dont think that I will be returning there. While I love the bed and paid cash for it, it is damaged. I would expect something new to not be damaged.
