Firstly, I love Dr Wright here at Eye Mart. Shes always been wonderful........Re the glasses side of eye mart........I Can understand mask suggested, or mask recommended.....But since your sign and sales person said mask is required to do business, I went to Lens Crafters, 3 minutes down the road, and spent $928 in about 30 minutes.You are welcome to choose any policy, no matter how silly, but we can also choose to support other businesses that dont send normal people away for frankly, no reason at all. I guess the same people putting these signs up are the same ones eating in restaurants and going to football games with thousands of others.#Putting my money where my mouth isI know everyone wont agree with me here, but thats the beauty of livinghere in the US. Nice office; clean, large selection of unique frames, and friendly staff. They all offered very helpful suggestions regarding my needs. I mainly worked with Kelsey and she was great in explaining the different types of lenses and coatings, etc. I will seek her out again when I go back. She was patient. She also went over all of the promotions as well as my ins benefits. While I was choosing frames she had most of the paperwork completed. This saved time. The lab was speedy as well. My new glasses were ready in record time (25 min). My daughter’s new glasses were made in 10 minutes—Amazing! I recommend this location

General Manager Claudette is very resourceful knowledgeable helpful and caring. I rated 5 stars because my experience at this location always exceeds my expectations. The only place I would choose to go to for my eye care needs. Its especially great that you will receive your new glasses within an hour. Excellent customer service so I will not go anywhere else but here. And they have beautiful frames to fit your sense of style and warranty so if something happens within a year of purchase you can get them replaced which is a huge help for me.

Rude sales personal. Went in on August 17 to check on glasses. Sales person told me to be quite and listen to her before asking any questions. Also did not have a technician that day to make glasses. Never setting foot in there again. Bought glasses there about 2 years ago and service was great. Got 2 pairs of glasses in 45 minutes.

I arrived at my 2:00p appointment time. I was out at 3:17p. That’s with an eye exam, selecting my glasses and waiting for this to be ready.

Comfortable. Not a word used frequently to describe an eye glass store. But comfortable is how I felt while entering Eyemart Express #184 on Cahaba Park Circle. All of the staff were kind, funny and accommodating; especially, Kirk! A brilliant lens technician that knows everything about progressive lenses. For example: I’ve never been able to read books with progressives. The peak progression is so for down making it impossible to fix ones eyes continuously. Kirk suggested a “short progressive” that allows one to focus on the peak 4mm sooner with a much larger window. After purchasing, the change is incredible.But the big story is: I took Kirk a pair of rimless glasses that I had stepped on back in 2005. They were my favorites and I was nostalgic for them. Kirk didn’t hesitate, he immediately started the logistical process, built the glasses, and a couple of days later: I was looking through short progressive rimless glasses exactly like the ones I stepped on.But the bigger story is: I’m used to paying around $700 for everything. I was out of the store for less than $275.I’m a retired engineer and I highly recommend Eyemart Express.

I visited there yesterday with my daughter. We were greeted as we walked in the door. We only waited about 10 minutes. We had to stand while waiting due to Covid rules there was only one chair. They have an optometrist available but we already had a prescription for glasses. We bought 2 pair of glasses one for her to wear daily and one to wear for basketball games. They have a huge selection including designer brands. We were treated so good. I wish I had gotten the lady’s name who helped us. She sat at the very front table/computer. She was very professional and helpful. She made us feel comfortable and at home. We got both pair of glasses made in less than an hour! This is an awesome service since in the town where we live it takes over a week to get glasses made. We couldn’t wait that long. She had a game in 2 days. Besides who wants to wait that long when you need new glasses now? We will definitely shop there again and I will recommend them to everyone I know who needs glasses. I moved from Dothan, Al. I had to find a new Optometrist and a glasses store that provided in house manufacture of the prescription. This is it!! Although the wonderful Doctor of Optometry, Dr. Wright and Eyemart Express are connected through a door, they disavow any real business connection with each other; however, if there is a problem with the prescription, Im sure the two entities would collaborate and arrive at a meaningful conclusion to the benefit of the patient. I went here and had the most thorough, high tech analysis of my optical needs form Dr. Wright. She is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Then I took my prescription through the joining door and gave it to Matthew in Eyemart Express. He was great...knowledgeable and professionally measured my eye distance, got my insurance payouts, suggested the type of glass and tint I could have and their advantages. Most glasses can be done inhouse and ready that day, but mine needed a week. I am very happy I lucked out and found this place online.

The optometrist, Dr. Barbara Wright, is excellent! Exam was just $69 and extremely thorough. Shes professional, capable and super nice. On the frames side, the prices are SO much more reasonable than other places. Justin (the GM) and Hunter are perfectly helpful and very personable. The only snafu was one of their machines was down so my glasses werent ready until the next day, but I believe that was a rare occurrence. This is my new vision place! Definitely recommend!

Due to my daughters only pair of glasses breaking, it was necessary to get new ones the same day. I had picked up her prescription from her regular optometrist and headed to Eyemart. Everyone was so friendly and the lady associate helped tremendously. We were told that her glasses would be ready in about 45 minutes but it was only 20 minutes (WOW). Went yesterday, my lenses are always expensive, in and out in an hour, eye exam and a fresh set of glasses. At Walmart they charged me $100+ per lense, I didnt even pay $100 for both lenses at 3 Eyemart Express. I was in a state of emergency and they took care of me without costing anywhere near an arm or a leg

I have vision insurance, but they did not tell me that they did not accept my insurance until the end of finalizing my purchase. I bought them anyway. Im wearing my glasses, but im unable to see with clarity. Most likely i see myself going back for my lenses to be corrected. Im just not satisfied :(
