Careful please!!! I beg you just read this commend. I am writing this commend with all my sincerity and I want to you guys just careful about this fraud. I went to this shop and they told me my car needs to change engine coils and they charged me $300.00, but after my car had the same problem as I had before. I went to another shop and I just recognized they didn’t change the engine coils. They just lied to me and scammed my money. After I went to their shop and kindly ask the refund my money back. They lied again even threatening me, and they denied that money. I am just student and it is really hard to earn this money, but for them they are just swindle the people. They are really bad and cheap person I have ever met. In addition, the real owner is from Palestine, but he is using some of his worker and he is saying owner from the USA. All the things from this shop lie and it should be shut down to save people life and money.

He has to be the most dishonest person in business. He changes prices all the time. He has cursed out customers and called them liars. Im not sure if he has a business license. Do not go to him, you will regret it. He will put in old parts, and charge you new price. This place needs to be shut down. He tries to intimidate people with his size, but if you show him your not playing, he then call the cops.

DO NOT ABSOLUTELY DO NOT go to this place to get your car serviced. I have video evidence for everything that took place today at 5 pm. I left my car there Monday evening at 6 pm, August 21st, and there is a sign that says there is a storage fee of $25 3 days after repair work is completed. At this point my mother asked if that was correct. A middle eastern man then proceeds to say, Yes, $135 nothing in America is free. My mother then said, Well we understand could you hold a moment. Long story short he then proceeds to be rude to my mother and charges us $135 to get my car. They told me no you cant use a card cash only and my mother then proceeds to the bank. When she leaves I advised someone not to do business with them as they were rude. He then proceeds to curse at me and call me derogatory names. I begin to record and when my mother returns he tells my mother I should be chastised and that recording is illegal (its not illegal I informed him I was recording). As he walked behind the counter he says to me, Is this what YOU PEOPLE do when white police officers pull you over? And begin making derogatory remarks again. Fox 6 News will be informed and an investigative action will take place. The person in charge at the time is a white male in his later years by the name of Frank. Do not go to this place at all.

This place is absolutely amazing ! The manager Kall is the best hes willing to fix your car by any means necessary. Hes willing to give you a reasonable price along with wonderful service. I went in to get my radiator fan fixed and he completed the job within an hour. My car is back running smoothly and I couldnt be happier. I most definitely will be back ! All my car needs have been met and I no longer have to search around town for a reliable mechanic.

I agree. The business owner Kall was very generous and willing to help. Their prices are very reasonable, and I didnt have to wait all day. They were able to work me in, and I made it back to work on time. Thank you all for your excellent service. I will recommend this business and go again.

Great experience low prices great customer service. I highly recommend this place. I needed my rear end axle replace. I call around from pep boys to other repair shops everybody charging 1500 to 1700 hi tech charge 1150 great deal! Now car run like a champ💪

We needed a new engine. He got us one for 950.00 . It was supposed to guaranteed for 6 months. Low mileage. We got back but it leaked. So took it back. They cleaned the engine. But didnt fix the leak. Also they broke the radiator bar. Couldnt fix it, so my son did. I too kit back after a week Cal Kalif the owner said he couldnt find a leak. I went to get it and the mechanic said he would check it now. He said the drain plug was bad.and valve cover. He wanted to charge me to fix it.I said Id just get a lawyer. Then Cal came in and told me they would do the valve cover. If I would go get the drain plug ,oil and filter they would do oil change. I went to Midas. They said the drain plug was fine. We had gotten new brakes in April and the guy at High tech also said I needed new brakes.I knew Cal from when he was on 1st av.about 17 years ago. He wasnt a thief then. But now I am very disappointed in him. Dont trust him.

The owner, Kall is great, honest, and very knowledgeable. I came in this previous Saturday (He was open while other body shops were closed) He inspected a vehicle I was skeptical about buying, and he with his staff honestly told me his opinion about the vehicle and provided me with confidence to purchase the car.Great guy! Great shop! I recommend him to anybody needing body or mechanical work, or advice.

I had my car tuned up at High Tech and had a great experience. The price was fair and Kall took care of all the maintenance issues with my car. Also, the staff were knowledgeable and friendly, and provided very quick service! Im glad I found this shop, Ill definitely be back.

I been all over the Birmingham area trying to get engine work done to my car. Another shop want to charge and outrageous price. I went to high tech Auto & body shop. They have great service and reasonable prices. It was only my timing chain. All of my car repaid will be done here thanks guys

This is the worst mechanic in Alabama! I went there for my car gear problem. Middle eastern guy told me some part of gear was needed to change and he told me he is going to order a brand-new part. After paying $800, the car problem still held. I went another mechanic and they told me they put second hand part and it caused another problem. Also, I am suspicious that they took out some expensive part from my car. They are liar and trickery. Never go there!

Kall is such an amazing worker ! He fixed my transmission and gave me such great quality service. Hes extremely reliable and had the job completed fast in such reasonable timing. I searched all over for someone to complete the job and ended up at the right place. I most definitely would recommend this place to others that are in need of any type of mechanic service. I will be back.

I went there for my car troubles, bumper came off and door handle was broken. They fixed everything for me and took very good care of me. They are very easy to deal with and have reasonable prices. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

This is the best repair shop in Birmingham hands down!! They the dest prices in town. Ive have plenty of work done here from my engine to my transmission and they have done body work as well as painted my car. I can honestly say Ive had all good experiences here!!!

This place was sketchy. The guy running the shop kept telling me different prices and speaking super fast like he was trying to confuse me. He also tried to tell me there were a bunch of other problems with my car. There werent. Also, its advertised as $20 oil change on the outside but I had to pay $30 for some reason?? I finally got tired of arguing so I just paid it and left.

Im international student from UAB and this place is a quick service for me. I have done my oil change, brakes and other maintenance here by the owner who is an honest diligent immigrant from Jordan. Not gonna lie to you like most local dealers

This business should be shut down. Our car was taken to this business in December after our daughter was involved in a car accident. We had to have our car towed to another business. For four months we were given the run around. We were lied to, and once our insurance company paid them. This business cashed our check and never did any work on our car. We had to file a police report. They are liars and thieves.

I had an AMAZING experience with High Tech Auto Mechanic and Body Shop! They took care of my car quickly, efficiently, and the work was flawless! I will definitely be coming back to this shop for all of my car repair needs!

These guys are good. I took my 1980 Toyota 4x4 to them. They diagnosed the problem areas and had it repaired quickly. I will definately use them again.

While visiting Alabama, The window on our vehicle would not roll backup. We discovered that we need it a new Regulator. I search Google for the closest Car repair shop. I found this car Repair shop and met the owner Kall. The price he gave to repair was negotiable and the service exceeded our expectations. The owner was extremely friendly. The window was fixed while we waited in about 45 minutes or less. This was a Saturday around 3pm and he was clising at 4 but he agreed to wait for us. I highly recommend this car repair shop.

I called everyday for 5 days before I got a call back. I was quoted a semi reasonable price, then the price was doubled for the same repair when I arrived. Opted to repair it myself but still owed them $190 for diagnosis (which was incorrect) & 3 days storage- even though the sign states fees start 3 days post job. The owner(?) was extremely disrespectful & I implore everyone to seek repair elsewhere.

STAY AWAY!! The police are always getting called here for fraud, car break ins, stolen vehicles, inadequate work, and when the police do get called, the owner charges an extra $300 on top of your bill. You’ve been warned!!!!!!!!

I was hired here and told id get paid $9.00 an hour. I work two twelve hour days and they dont have any business so they fire me tell me come the next day for my pay. Give me 50.00 and tell me to come the next day still owing me $165.00 and say theyre only gonna pay me $50.00 more and thats it. Well im gonna report them to everyone possible. Also i want to add they rip everyone they can off tell them something major is wrong charge them as much as possible and its only a small fix. Dont mess with this place. They will scam u

Save yourself the pain of dealing with these people.... Just because they call it mechanic doesnt mean they are... They own money to everyone I know... From their mechanic to the people they get tools from... If they fix something and they see something lose. That wont take but minutes to get fix they ignore it ,their motto is leave it they arent paying us to do that, they will come back....

Kall was a life saver! I was visiting from Atlanta and began to uncover some issues before getting back on the highway. Not only did Kall point out the issue but he addressed it right away beating out all other mechanics that I called for a quote. I would highly recommend Kall and his crew for any mechanical needs. He will definitely be my first and only choice when I’m in the Birmingham area.

Kall replaced my front brakes at a cost that was way less than what PepBoys would do it for. My bet is that he would beat any price in town for any job. Hes a personable guy too. He let me watch him and his staff work which was great because I do a lot of work on my car myself. Many mechanics have tried to rip me off one way or another in the past and some of them succeeded so my experience with Kall was a relief. I have only been there once, but I will certainly be going back when a job is too big or Im too busy. I also liked supporting a local business as opposed to a corporation.

I had the most pleasant experience at High Tech. By me bn a female coming in alone the Manager Cal treated me kindly he gave me affordable prices for the labor I havent had any problems with my ride they got me in and out I will be returning for regular maintenance.

Kal did a great job on my 4Runner. A tree limb fell on it and destroyed the back gate, bumpers, and quarter panels. I got quotes from a handful of other places before coming to Kal. His quote was 20% or 25% cheaper than the next price. I wasnt sure at first because of the mixed reviews on google, but Im glad I chise Hi Teck. He did a geat job on the body work, but when I got back there was a small paint bubble on the right. He not only fixed that but he fixed the gas tank release, which was not part of what we discussed but had been broken. He did this because of the mistake and at no extra cost. May have taken a little longer than planned, but worth the wait.

The absolute worst place i have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Nothing about it is hitech they change ownership very often to erase their bbb history. The two mechanics they haye are low down scum drug addicts. The arab owner is justnas scheisty. If you want your car fixed and want it back within a month then do not go there.

Hey do listen to nobody about this place these people are a rip off theyll do anything to rip you or anybody off I took my vehicle to them they said I have a problem with my starter they said it need to be replaced they never did replace it they did some really simple work on the battery to have the vehicle work for few days and now they just messed up the battery I had to go to oreilly to change the battery Im telling you these guys are lier, lier after they tell you the trust word front of you the next day you come back because the issue is the same theyll tell you a different story what they told you story do not do not go to these guys.
