What can you say about Walmart! Always good prices, and often very good service. Their electronics are always a little on the high side, but they do price match.... Even Amazon if shipped and sold by Amazon. Food prices always competitive. I find their cosmetic prices are hit and miss. Some are very good, and others not so much. You can tell they make some good coin there.Anyways overall 4 stars!

Great new Walmart! Its one of the nicer Walmarts around. They have every department, more selection, staff are better here, its well stocked usually and the lines arent too bad. Theyve modernized this Walmart so there are way more self checkouts then the average Walmart.

Tim Hortons at this location has the worst customer service/employees by far. We were given wrong coffees and when pointed to their employees they were very rude and defensive. You will definitely get that unfriendly and unwelcome feeling when you walk-in to this store. The place is filthy.We encourage you to please please go somewhere else for a cup of joe and if youd like to be treated with respect, please go somewhere else.

I went shopping there last night, got the run around when looking for something and then ended up with a rude customer service person. All in all, I am sorry that I went there and ended up taking the time to go to a different Walmart to get what I wanted and there I received wonderful and polite service. I do know many people are stressed and worried with the current pandemic, but that really just means stepping up the customer service side of things and making the customer leave with a smile, not with a feeling of why did I even bother.

Demands you to wear masks, but they arent handing out masks. Now I have to go buy masks from a different store to shop at a walmart. Unbelievable.

Went into the pharmacy this am with a simple question about how long a prescription transfer would take. I ended up speaking with one of the male Pharmacist there (tall with orange/ red hair). I was immediately met with a sarcastic and passive aggressive answer. I could tell that he had much better things to do than to be talking to me. They were absolutely no help (seemed like they were only “helping” me because they had to) and they took the first chance they had to write me off, even though the issues I was communicating that I was having could have been easily solved with a simple phone call. Ended up going to shoppers drug mart instead where I was met with much kinder and helpful service and finally left with what I needed. I will never return here.

I dont normally get my medicine here but im diabetic and needed testing strips amd walmart seems to be the cheepest for 100 for the contour next. They even teminded myle i could get a free tester, i declined. They have lots of bath, beauty, medicines, ointments and other typical pharmacy supplies.

I have never had a positive experience going to the walmart on Main St (Sierra springs) but i go to it, because its the closest store to where i live that has things i need.. today just as i was heading to the check out lane, i hear the reminder come over the speaker to remind employees to clean and sanitize their work station.. as i approach the till (Brianna) the worker was leaning over the belt where the food goes, looking like she was ready to fall asleep, the belt was filthy, there was milk on it, and some other wet spots and i dont know what else, she clearly ignored the reminder and went about ringing my stuff in, as i was walking away, i looked back to see if she was going to clean the belt and she just walked away from her till, it was quiet first thing in the morning with not many customers, with the whole covid thing going on, if there is time i think they should be sanitizing their work area every chance they got... really not impressed.. if i remember right also she wasnt wearing a mask.

The woman that works are the pharmacy is fantastic, the man in the mornings, NOT helpful at all. needed an antihistamine and asked about the gentleman there, he just pointed out down aisle 5 , no help what so ever it was 8:10 a.m. so i was basically one of a dozen people in the whole store. Better going off to Shoppers and pay more for better servicce, at least I get points. i would never get a prescription filled there.

Normally I love shopping at Walmart in Airdrie. Usually have zero issues other than not being able to find the odd thing and thats fine. Today I have had the worst Walmart experience to date! I did an online order to pick up. I got all the way to Walmart and then called as usual when I pulled up to the pick up spot. I called them and talked to a nice lady on the phone. I was informed at that time that my order for my time slot hadnt even been filled. They said they were busy and unable to find lots of items due to everyone panic buying. They asked if I wanted my order tomorrow I said no. I ordered my pick up for today for a reason. After being told I would get $25 gift card for my time that they wasted I said fine whatever. I went inside and it was not ready like they said. I was not given good customer service by the customer service staff or by the manager I talked to either. I will be rethinking shopping at Walmart in the future.

I cant tell if this Walmart is up-to-date and awesome. Or its 25 years behind the ones in the United States. Either way both are better than 10 years ago.

Was at the self check-in ready to start scanning my product but I didnt want to touch the screen and when I ask the lady to sanitize the checkout she got very upset with me because I asked . Then she told me that head office told them only to sanitize every half an hour. Really what if someone in front of me has the covid 19 then I would probably get it and not even know. Well if you guys are going to do that then how is this virus going to stop wake up Walmart.

One of the best Walmart store I ever had visited. As usual the store is large. It has variety of products with many sizes and colours. Even in different design, many projects are available. The shoe section has available size for all even almost all designed shoes. The store is located beside Calgary-Edmonton highway in the city of Airdrie. Easily accessible from main road and parking lot is available for free. As usual, all staff are friendly and helpful.

Fantastic Walmart! We were having issues with a younger staff member when we were wanting to buy a display lawnmower. However a senior employee handled the matter with such perfection and ease it made our whole experience turn around, and we were able to purchase it. Very clean and tidy Walmart as well, with friendly staff. Love shopping here.

There is a huge pothole in the parking lot here! I stepped in it (as it was after dark when I visited) and nearly ended up twisting my ankle! They need to fix it before someone ends up badly hurting themselves!The store itself was okay, selection was good. Some of the shelves needed dusting. I was disappointed that they dont carry bread boxes.Only 2 of the 20 tills were open! I didnt want to go to the self checkout as I was paying with cash! So I waited in line for 15 minutes! But I was impressed with the cashier; in spite of his overwhelming workload, he maintained a positive, friendly attitude.Overall, I would say I had a mediocre experience here.

Save money, live better. Dont expect to find the Parmesan half the time, but its Walmart. The associates at this location are smart and friendly.

The CUSTOMER SERVICE staff including a Manager were totally useless, can not help..., HOWEVER when I went to Deerfoot Walmart the Associate at the cashier station was able to help and process my payment on Walmart MC, She just knew.

Not a bad store. They seem to be keeping their shelves better stocked than before. Bathrooms are much nicer than they used to be too. I bought the Great Value whole wheat bread a couple of times, but found that it turned green way before the best before date. I find that this store is best for buying dry shelf goods, but not very good when it comes to fresh itemsEdit: I have checked Airdries stock on the website on 2 different occasions, the first time, the prices were different from the website. The second time, it says there were 9 of the item I wanted, only to arrive at the store and there were none. I asked at customer service about the item and was rudely told that the website is different than the store. When I showed her the product number and she looked it up, she stated oh we have 9, did you check the shelf where theyre supposed to be stocked? Of course I did! She treated me like I was a complete idiot. Turns out, she couldnt find them either, and I wasnt offered anything in comparison, so I took my business elsewhere.

I normally HATE Walmart!Always busy and messy and cranky staffBut went with my 3 yr old here and we were very surprised and enjoyed our hour long shopping visit.Great staff! Clean environment! Clean bathrooms! A place to actually enjoy shopping even with the back to school rush.Well worth the drive if u dont live in airdrie like myself! Thank you Walmart and staff for a great experience from this single mom!!! One less stress is a win for me!

We placed a huge order this past Saturday, and went and picked it up today. We were very pleased and satisfied with our experience. We received everything in the order!! A few subsitions, just grateful to have what we got. I want to thank everyone who helped in putting my order and everyones elses risking your lives so we dont have to. They have allot of cool stuff. Not everything I expected to be there was. But things were cheap and fair.

Of all the Walmarts in the Calgary area, I prefer this one in Airdrie. They rarely have long lines, and most products are well-stocked. Its got friendly staff, and its pretty clean. Its also less busy than other stores in the area so Im able to get in and out quicker.

I was shopping at the AIRDRIE WAL-MART on 26 April around 1300 or 1:00pm. I was doing self serve check out and heard a commotion on the floor. I noticed manager Whos name tag suggested it was Myrna who was screaming at self check out cashier Bushra. It sounded the manager was upset about the cashier taking a day off.It came across very negative that the store management didnt care about its front line employees in this stressful pendamic time. Its was very unprofessional of doing this out, the manager needs training regarding FOIP and privacy laws as this shouldnt have been done on the floor. The manager needs to learn and understand how to work and lead their team members .

This is your typical Walmart Supercenter. They have everything from gardening, seasonal, sports, toys to groceries and bakery. Today I went in to look for a birthday gift or gift card if I couldnt find a suitable gift. Unfortunately I found neither, hence the 4 star rating but I did find other items that were a good deal. Now I have to find something for the gift elsewhere. Otherwise, it was clean and tidy in there with no line ups.

Best Walmart Ive been to period. Aisles are clean, items are fully stocked most of the time. Selection is great and their is an abundance of items on sale in their weekly flyer. Staff could be a little more friendlier but expected with the wage they make I guess. Very convienient to have Tim Hortons and McDonalds located on either side of the exits as well to grab a coffee while your shopping. I do 95% of my shopping here.

Walmart is exactly what you pay for. However. ... What ia the point of having 15 pay lanes and only 3 open at all times? Defeats the purpose of a large, cheap and CONVENIENT store

This Walmart is full of rude employees especially the store manager who acts like he doesnt care about his customers. And the cashiers at the front dont even care about your service, they just mumble at you and hand your receipt and just look the other way. The prices are better than other grocery stores but if you want good service you wont find it here.

Love shopping here. Great value for money and has a fair selection of British groceries although they could definitely stock more. Best time to avoid the crowds is weekdays between 10 and 11.

The aisle spaces are quite wide, especially in the produce area, which makes for a relaxed shopping experience as no one is bumping into each other. The staff are friendly and helpful. Good parking outside. It is low on Indian spices, but they do carry some limited quantity.

Did some last minute Xmas shopping on the 23rd, and was so impressed with how well organized this location is. Especially the line-up/cash register. Staff does a great job in pointing everyone to a til, so the flow of customer traffic is always moving forward. Two days before Xmas, and I waited in line for less than 5 minutes. Thoroughly appreciated.

Waited 15 min in line and still unable to pay. Cancelled my purchase and will NEVER shop at this location AGAIN. They need to have more tellers.

Always an adventure. Great prices and everything we need. But this one time, someone threw a burger at my car. Went to get in and smelled mustard and was like, da-fuq! Downside to having a McDs there I guess. Burger was not edible.

Good location, often the produce is not stocked leaving the shelves quite bare. The staff seem to be more interested in chatting with each other.

Im at this Walmart probably 3 times a week, its fantastic! Its not ever too busy, things are clean and well stocked, and the staff are all super friendly and helpful! They are always trying to get me deals even when Im not looking for them myself! I know it sounds a bit over the top, but this Walmart is one of my favorite things about living in Airdrie. Dont judge.

On Nov 23, 18 I went to Walmart in Airdrie location shopping with my wife. At 10:08 am my wife paid for a sweater in self check out. When we were done, we were tried to leave the store. We were using the right exit. The exit was close to the nail bar, not by Tim Horton. Before we left, we saw a white senior lady went out with her shopping cart, in her shopping cart we saw she got couple appliances in her cart. When she tried to exit, the alarm gate was beeping, but the greeter didn’t do anything, and let her left. When we tried to leave, the greeter asked my wife to show her the receipt and the sweater. I am just wondering why she didn’t check on that senior lady and just only checked on us. I’m not sure because we are Asian. After that we did call back to the store to file complaint, because we believed we got discriminated. Unfortunately the reception put us on hold for more than 15 minutes. No managers pick up the phone and talked to us. So we filed the complaint on line, but still nobody concern our incident. I understand the greeter check receipt is right, but not pick and choose. Because we were embarrassed at that moment, and we felt we were got picking on. I don’t think I will go to that location to shop anymore and I will pass my shopping experience to all my friends and relatives as well.

Tones of staff at customer service and they couldnt even open one extra till for the evening rush! (2 tills open and a few self check for 80 people) ...wow nice customer service. Its getting worse by the week.

As far as Walmarts go, this is definitely one of my favourites as it’s very clean and spacious! The makeup section is very affordable and varied, and the groceries are very fresh and readily available. However, there’s a massive pot hole in the parking lot that is dangerous and well overdue for a repair. I got stopped and asked for my receipt on the way out, which was incredibly frustrating as I had my hands full and was in a hurry. Would I really steal after JUST leaving the check out line? There are cameras there. Also annoying to get harassed for a Walmart credit card application every time, and Direct Energy employees in orange harass you and ask you if you pay your utility bills?! Otherwise the Walmart staff are very pleasant and helpful, and there’s always lots of carts and baskets available.

Parveen at the customer service refused to return a boxed item that i bought 2 days ago. Even though I had the scanned version of the receipt on my phone. She wanted to see the actual receipt. I was extremely disappointed as my past experience at this store has always been great. I wont be returning. Will also be cancelling my MasterCard with them.

While I can navigate the store pretty quickly, seeing the associates stand around chatting isnt what they are paid to do. There were ladies looking for assistance and oh, not in this department, try there with pointing isnt very helpful.

This location was exceptionally rude and unsanitary, during this covid 19 pandemic, I will not be going back to this Walmart. Period.

It is an okay place, clean most of the time. The staff are helpful. Everything is organized and very easy to find. There is also a McDonalds and a Tim Hortons inside the supermarket. There are also several different options of sales that are very beneficial. A decent store.

The Airdrie Wallmart was fantastic experience one of the employees there wearing a yellow vest gave such a good service finding these glass water kuttle it was great I lived close to the Deerfoot City Wallmart but I dont mind driving the extra 5 min to Airdrie for such service. Good job

Every department has many different selections to choose from. My favourite is the fishing. Huge expansion of quality items.

Service at this location is always decent however shelves are almost always empty , for a store that serves a rather large community they could do better !

The store is great. No problems with it but they let Direct Energy (The bad one) bug their customers post checkout on the way out of the store. I will not be shopping here anymore until Direct Energy is gone. They are a horrible company and should not be allowed in the store.

Let’s know our rights; no more being treated like a criminal during our trips out the door after paying.In the event of a receipt check,Walmart has not seen you conceal and fail to pay for merchandise, because you have not stolen anything.You are innocent of everything other than being randomly selected for a receipt check.So what does this mean for you, the paying customer, when a not so friendly face in a yellow vest asks for your receipt?Receipt checks are voluntary and if you’re not in the mood for one, it’s within your rights to be on your merry way.

The cashier was pleasant and efficient. There were a couple items that I couldnt find but other than that, it was great.

Went to buy some items for a camping trip and got there only to find out they had completely sold out of hot dog buns (when does that ever happen?) I was also looking for some play sand and was told I needed to buy it at customer service so did that and the cashier told me to show my receipt to someone outside. There was no one outside and the gate to the bags of soil and sand was locked. I came back to the customer service and they call the manager to help me find the play sand. The manager didnt know what play sand looks like and went to the back where there was just a bunch of potting soil and asked me if this was what I was looking for. After I told her no she looked it up and then learned that they had in fact zero bags of play sand. Following that I needed to go back to customer service to have my money refunded. What an outing.

Found everything that I needed, easily.Drain cleaner, toothbrushes, and a bike lock...all at same store. Which was convenient because I was on my bike and they had bike racks for me to park at.

I just came home from my local Walmart after buying a few groceries. I didnt purchase the bags that Walmart is now selling for 5 cents. I put the groceries in my cart and proceded to exit the store. I was stopped by a Walmart Greeter/Guard and asked to show my receipt. I asked why and was told I had to show my receipt because I did not bag my groceries. So which is it Walmart..... I are you going to be environmentally friendly and get behind the global encouragment to not use single use plastic bags OR are you going to make more money off your customers by charging money for your plastic bags OR are you going continue to insult your customers of stealing from you as we exit the store? Superstore for me from now on.

My favourite place for grocery every other day I m in Walmart my whole family love to shop in Walmart . This place is a heart of airdrie.

Most of the time youll have a pleasant experience, there is a few times where youll maybe spend way too much time there, way more than you like (usually if you have to go to customer service, because there is usually just one till open to help people and a huge lineup of people returning or if youre unlucky doing a money order). That being said, customer service is pretty good with returns, as long as you have the product and receipt theyll give you youre money back. The Airdrie Walmart is cleanly, friendly and you wont find better deals anywhere else (especially since cashiers respect the always lowest guaranteed rule, just show them the ad or such of a place selling the same product cheaper and theyll give you it for that price). I actually dont use the guaranteed lowest rule too often because the deals are always amzing, and youll find almost everything there! Definitely a one stop shop!

I work at Walmart in Calgary and my store isnt anywhere near to this splendid Walmart. This Walmart is huuuuge and still its cleaner, nicely stocked shelf, quiet and ways safer than mine. I just admire how nice and friendly this place is 🤩🤩🤩

Bought the stuff we needed. Then went to work for Walmart, scanning and bagging my own purchases, free labour for Walmart.

Produce lacking. However they always seem to carry almost everything you need at a good price. Almond milk is fairly priced, consistently.

Wasnt happy when in there to buy a silver chain staff member that I asked that was supposed to be a manager was too busy talking to a friend and appeared to take me to the jewelry counter. When I came back to ask her where the jewelry counter was she then informed me we no longer have jewelry counters so I wasted about 15 minutes walking around the store with six of us and three small children not impressed.

This is a super busy store with friendly, helpful staff. I was here on the weekend as well as on a Tuesday and its no less busy ! Prices are usually better than the competition.

I dont care what people say. You can get anything at Wal-Mart for a great price. They also hire special needs people and I hear its a great place to work.

Always love visiting this Wal-Mart as it is clean and always well stocked. For the most part grocery bags are packed well but you get the odd one who just had no time to organize it properly and stuff gets tossed in. I love the clothing section for all shapes and sizes. Lightbulb section however is always empty. That is frustrating. Been needing an oven light for months.

It is Wal-Mart... stop in fairly regular and always have a good experience so far.Used self check out because lib3s were fairly busy and I only had a couple items...Terminal froze and attendant was super helpful didnt argue or anything just ooen3d a till and got me done and on my way.
