Amazingly clean store, with a beautiful color scheme, baby blue with white accented by marble. The staff was attentive, gave each customer exclusive attention and the selection was varied. The prices are a little up there but the quality is apparent. I would highly recommend

Love the staff. They are so helpful and for a guy who looks lost every time I go in they have helped me pick out the best products for all the ladies in my life. The ladies always love it when I hand them the bluemercury bag. Thank you!

I knew better than to go into the Bethesda store but I was in the area. Very rude, the sales staff act like they are doing you a big favor if they have to wait on you. Didnt know about any special for M 61. Had other bad experiences.

I made a special trip to purchase my favorite Hourglass bronzer. The Sales clerk looked up the exact color. I also asked about a mascara. Chanel was recommended without asking me what I wanted from a mascara. When I asked about other Hourglass products, the clerk told me that she did not know anything about the product.I made my purchase quickly because my parking meter was expiring. When I returned - I discovered that the sales clerk had put the wrong Hourglass product in the bag!! I live 60 miles away. I called in the morning and the manager told me to mail it back and they will send the correct one. Let me see - 1. You were careless and gave me the wrong product. 2. You want ME to spend more time wrapping and packing and shipping this product to . 3. I gave the bag with both items to my daughter along with a copy of the emailed receipt to simply return the purchase. NO! refund could not be made because the actual credit card was not present.OK. I contacted the Hourglass company and shared my experience Today, I received the bronzer of my choice - no charge. No returning the other..After this experience and my two previous less than stellar experiences, I will not visit this store again. I will order my products online.

Always such a friendly staff when I come here to get waxed (3 or 4 times a year). They are often pretty booked up, but usually find a way to squeeze me in :DOne of the least painful waxings Ive ever gotten, too!! I also love their product inventory and love seeing their new products!

The testers are a bit lackluster. The Nars shadows have a lot of repeat shades in testers and not the whole range. Some Chanel testers were dried out. Other things dusty. Stock is a bit low. This location felt a bit sad and neglected.

I visited this store for the first-time at this location. Everyone was friendly enough. I went there to try few specific products and asked for samples. They were out of sample containers during weekends. My whole trip to this store was kind of a waste. Partially I felt like they didnt want to give out samples to customers being busy but thats just my own thinking and hope its not true. Lot of other competitor stores are more welcoming and well prepared for the weekend traffic.

Managers, please train your staff working the register to be polite, considerate people. It is unacceptable for both people standing at either register (not ringing up other customers) to wait over 30 seconds before making eye contact with, greeting, or saying please wait a few moments to a customer standing there with products in hand to purchase. In addition, the first thing a sales associate says when ringing someone up should not be whats your phone number, it should be hello. Ridiculous. Never coming back.

I had previously had a not-so-great experience at both the Pike&Rose and Wildwood bluemercury stores. I came to this one, and Whitney was super sweet and helpful. She suggested a couple of things that she personally recommended, and helped me find what I was looking for. She also gave me a bunch of free samples. I will come back to this one!! Very happy!
