I have purchased 6 vehicles from Signature in the last 14 years. There is no loyalty incentive with this dealership. They do not budge on trade in price or new vehicle price. The manager in charge of pricing trade-in values sits behind his desk with anonymity and refuses to budge on his appraisal. You don’t get a chance to speak with him about it, maybe because he’s afraid of confrontation or the potential that maybe he’s not always right. Anyway, I will not be purchasing from this dealership ever again - there is no incentive to return. I even sent them an email last week, detailing my concerns, to give them an opportunity to make it right. No response. Work on your customer loyalty incentives, Signature. Maintaining your customers is good for business.

Updated re: owner response. They didnt have best price they had inventory. I talked to that guy for 2 mins, he has no idea the research I did before going to his dealership. Inventory. Not best price! Coming in under estimate doesnt mean anything, your salesman told me you intentionally go high on the estimate so you can come in lower on true number and its the reason I tried to repeatedly request the real numbers and your dealership refused. Doesnt deny that I asked for all financial numbers 3 times and was still surprised with additional fees sprung on me. He acknowledges driving me to dealership, part of the predatory trap, I asked to know all $ before down payment, again before I went to dealership and again before I signed anything, but still wasnt told about the $400 until I was 3/4 through the paperwork. Do not recommend. Made a deal over the phone with salesman. Dealership hours from my home. Requested to know all financial details before riding with their arranged driver to the dealership. Salesman assures me he has provided all costs with the deal. Get to dealership. After I again ask for all $ numbers before I sign, they say I have them, start signing then one of the last pages has a previously undisclosed $400 (or $300 if I buy at the end of the lease) fee to end lease. They are unwilling to negotiate, waive or assist me in getting home. Buy the vehicle or find my own way home. Dishonest, predatory and unwilling to negotiate

I had a fantastic experience at Signature Dealer Group! I am high risk on paper and they went above and beyond to help me get a great deal and to keep myself and my children from having to walk! Not one time did I ever feel pressured from Marcus Muhammad or the finance manager Teresa! I was allowed to ask as many questions as I needed so I could feel comfortable with purchasing my first car. Definitely recommend!!!! Definitely forsee myself coming back in the future! 😁

I had called yesterday to make an appointment to see a car. I told the guy I was buying a car for my father.i live in Chicago and was going to be in Michigan and my appointment was for this morning. I had been looking a long time and this was the car. My dad’s favorite color is red. My dad is 83 and this was “the car.” My dad literally was in the hospital For 3 days and just got out yesterday and he was so excited to get this car. I get woken up at 7am to be told the car was sold yesterday. I was so upset. I was planning on buying this car. I told the guy, could you have at least called me yesterday? I would have driven out there right away. They sold it under my nose when I had the appointment. The guy said they don’t take deposits. That’s fine but they should have at least allowed me the chance to get out there and buy it. I was planning on buying in cash, too. Number 2 problem was I asked why didn’t you call me yesterday about the car being sold. Instead I got woken up at 7am on my vacation. This is incredibly rude and unprofessional. Treat others as you want to be treated. Tell me yesterday when I had the appointment of your rules and I would’ve came out immediately. That’s bad karma and unethical. My dad will be heart broken. This is a poor way of doing business.

I came in for an oil change Tuesday March10th. Employees are always friendly they got me in an out quicker than the time they estimated!Richard in parts was very helpful I need struts in the very near future he shared info & looked up the price for parts and labor for me. But best of all he remembered that my car used a particular filter that you don’t carry in stock. {I didn’t even remember} He went out and checked the mechanics work before he would let me leave! IMPRESSIVE PERSONAL CARE ATTENTION!!!

The staff at Signature Dealer Group were superior in their care for our family and our vehicle. While headed through MI for vacation we faced an unexpected car repair. It was the end of the business day and the employees worked with us to diagnose the problem, set us up with an overnight rental, serviced our vehicle first thing in the morning, and helped us get back on the road as quickly as possible. We have never bought a vehicle from a dealership, preferring private party sales, but our experience with these folks has made us understand why people use dealerships. This business was fantastic to work with!

I felt comfortable the moment I contacted Signature Automotive Group online. Kathy was quick to respond through email and had all the answers I was looking for. Once I arrived, Spencer guided me through the process of buying a used vehicle and made the entire experience very smooth. The negotiating was straight forward and I never felt like I was being taken advantage of. Eric helped me with financing and was very informative. I bought my first Toyota product more than 8 years ago and recently just upgraded to an amazing Camry with really useful features and a smooth ride.It took me almost a month of test driving different vehicles, crunching numbers, asking questions and being careful. Bill and his staff, including Chris, my sales person, were patient with me, communicated very often, and understood when I didnt quite feel solid with what I test drove.Ive always dreaded buying cars, but that fear has subsided with Signature. Id never consider going anywhere else. Especially with the luck Ive had with my Scion, and now with my Camry.Service Department is impeccable as well. The last time I had an issue, it wasnt easy for the team to diagnose. They patiently drove my car til they heard what I heard, figured out the sound, and found a part quickly. They even had me pay my parts bill later just to be sure they got the diagnosis correct.The team at Signature is a family, and you can feel that working with everyone. I am always honored to wear the dealer plate on the back of my car!

An overall fantastic experience! Mike Walters was a great through the whole process. I never felt pressured at all and he gave me all the time that I needed to feel comfortable in making a decision. I highly recommend! Also, its one of the few (if not only?) dealers where the sales people are salaried instead of commissioned. So it completely removes the feeling that youre being pressured to buy a car.

Purchased the car online. Transaction went smoothly and was fairly easy. Sales person Marcus was great to work with. Picked up the car to drive back to my home state Oregon. Was assured the vehicle was inspected and serviced and would get me home safe. The car broke down in the middle of Wyoming after driving only 1000 miles. Car towed to auto repair in central Wyoming. The bill is $1500 for oil pump replacement on a vehicle with less than 100k miles. I called Signature and asked politely if they could assist me with the repair bill since I had barely bought the vehicle and was told it was a great car. Management at Signature told me essentially tough luck. These guys that were so nice and helpful during the purchase basically abandoned me once the car left the lot. After repair bill, hotel bills, and missed work Im out an extra $2500 above the cost of the newly purchased vehicle. Its disappointing Signature will not stand behind the quality of the vehicles they sell. These guys refused to assume any responsibility for the condition of this vehicle and it has really cost me. All said and done, this experience has been financially catastrophic for me and my family.

$9.95 oil changes are super sweet and save on money, the 2 week wait to get your car in to get it is super fustrating. I found that I seriously have to schedule my service appointments months in advance...everyone is very helpful. Ron in the service department is fantastic. Salesman Mike W sold the car to me and helped me get the best deal. I did have to order a piece of exterior factory trim that fell off while going through the car wash, and for a small piece of trim $50 seemed a bit much, but unable to get the part anywhere else.

I have not purchased a car from a dealership in 25 years due to the tediousness of the bargaining game that was involved. It was a game that pitted business against customer and the outcome could only be that one of them won and one lost. Not good business in my opinion. I am glad to see that times have changed and that customer and business can BOTH win thus forming a much stronger union between the two.My sales professional is Barbara and she is superior in her knowledge of vehicles and the financing process. Six weeks ago I put money down on a RAV4 Hybrid (that was in transit) at a dealership in WI. After 6 weeks of waiting, we learned that it was still on the west coast and nobody could tell us when it would ever arrive. We really couldnt afford to have my husband continue using a Chevy Silverado for his 100 mile daily commute so I started looking online for a Rav4 that was similar to the one we were waiting for. I found 14 identical vehicles so I started reaching out to dealerships. Signature Toyota was the second one I contacted. I have to say, I was quite impressed by the quick responses, great communication and awesome customer service I received from Krystal Kerns and TJ Meister. If the Wisconsin Dealership wouldnt have come up with a similar vehicle in a color that my husband really liked AFTER calling to get our down payment back, I would most likely be on my way to Benton Harbor today to buy a car! Thanks so much to Krystal and TJ for going out of their way to help me when I was feeling so frustrated with my WI dealership😊

Our first car buying experience here was easy-going and friendly. Sadly, I cannot say the same for our last. And it will be our last.. We were told that two previous customers had not been able to purchase the cars that we test drove due to their deals falling through. Even though we ended up buying a car, I shudder to think what those people must have gone through. The reason I say that is because we were not able to go with out first choice bank for an auto loan this time due to student loans (even with top tier credit) and the car-buying experience took an immediate nose-dive.Our salesman, his sales manager and even the cashier became extremely rude to us. When we tried speaking with the Sales Manager to see if there were any savings that we had overlooked, the adversarial nature was palpable. The best example of this was that we had already negotiated a trade-in and the Sales Manger insinuated that they could change their mind on the value that had been agreed to, now that they could see the car and determine that its value was less in an effort to try and make us grateful for the price we had. It was also extremely unprofessional how our sales person burst into the room to take the side of his manager and gang up verbally on us for our questions regarding the value that the dealership had invested in the car and their margins.When I brough up the $25 visa offer on the website, everyone was dismissive and annoyed. And lastly, to add insult to injury, the cashier FORGOT about the desposit we had put down to keep the car from being sold and I had to REMIND her to subtract it from the payment we made that day. She also made clerical mistakes on the paperwork that requrired her to reprint the legal documents. And afterward when I questioned some of the documents, she became hostile and overly defensive, including making little snide remarks about how we had just signed it the first time.So what went right? To be fair, the final price we paid was a little under KBB. The car was clean. And they did allow us to make our downpayment in two installments and to take the car prior to the last one posting. They also allowed for us to bring in the title to our trade-in the next week.My final word on this dealership is-if you have very good credit and are not planning on trying to negotiate a price, then you will probably have a reasonable experience. If however, you have issues with credit, or just insist on haggling price, be prepared for an agressive, hostile and unpleasant experience. I would expect a little more patience and understanding for a business located in Benton Harbor regarding credit. And mind you, we got our second chocie with a reasonable rate and still have credit scores in the Prime category. I give this dealership a 1 out of 10 and we will never return.PS. They mixed up our credit reports as well. I had to call Equifax and Experien directly to do the work for them only to find out that their paid service that pulls from the three reporting agencies had simply vomitted out a composit of my fiancee and my credit reports. Buyer beware.

Our sales associate was Mr. Randy Klann - who was very knowledgeable about the certified vehicles on the lot. When we decided on a Toyota RAV4, he handle all the paperwork which included contacting my insurance company. When discussing this with the finance associate (Teresa Fletcher), she stated that some people forget to contact their insurance company prior to the purchase & this is a service Toyota performs.Mr. Klann also took us on a tour of the Service & Parts dept. he explained the process when the vehicle is brought in for servicing. He showed us the waiting area with the amenities & throughout the tour, asked if we had any questions. He was friendly as well as professional with a knowledge of automobiles.Our overall experience was very pleasent.
