I saw them first for a slow leak in a tire. I went back for oil changes. The engine light came on infrequently but caused no problems but I tracked it (time of day, temp). I think this was the issue that one of the mechanics said they could test by blowing smoke thru the system. I appreciated the discussion but decided not to test this and that. I live and work in Temple now. If I could arrange it, I would go back. I havent been able to get back in the last 1.5 yrs during their business hours.

Brant & BK are some of the nicest, most down to earth people you will ever want to meet. Plus they are super honest, which is why I drive an extra 17-20 miles for them to work on my car. They are always willing to sit down with you to explain what is going on with your vehicle, and they give you your best options so you can decide for yourself how you want to proceed for getting you back on the road safely. I highly recommend you go there as they are my exclusive mechanics, and even drove there today just to get my state inspection, knowing they would always treat me great. They know what they are doing and they were honest with me on the phone. Showed integrity and was friendly. I called their competition and before I could really say what I wanted they quoted me $1500. I called Brant and he wasnt hasty rushing me on the phone he listened to me and said hed check it all out and if I didnt control arms he would call me and let me know. Ingot my front end work done and a set of tires for less than $1500. If youre a woman and not sure of what you need for your auto go to Brant hes an honest guy you can trust him. I give them 5 stars.

I called this morning to get a quote to change my headlights. The quote was very reasonable. The lady at the front was very personable. They had my lights changed in a couple of hours. I met a man named Gary who’s been coming to this place for 30 years now. I plan on coming here more. Very customer friendly and honest staff. They’re not here to get all your money. They are here for the community.

I have used Jones Auto multiple times. They have great customer service and are honest. They’ve completed regular maintenance and fixed problems that other mechanics were not able to fix. One time I brought a VW Tiguan that I used to have (sold because it had a lot of problems) and they reached a problem they couldn’t fix. They put everything back together, told me the problem (correctly), said they didn’t have the software to fix it, gave me the number to a shop that did, and didn’t charge me since they couldn’t fix it. Highly recommend.

I cant thank Jones Home and Auto enough. My daughter is a student at UMHB, and I live 4 hours away. I lived in Belton 20 years ago and had used them back then, as they were recommended to me by coworkers.I remembered them being honest and dependable, so when I saw their website during my search for mechanics, I knew exactly where to send her. I was glad to see they were still in business! She was having issues with her brakes (huge concern for a parent). We did not have an appointment, and were prepared to leave the car overnight until it could be fixed. However, they fit her in the same day. I compared their quoted price for the brake job to online expected prices, and they were well within price range. The mechanic and folks upfront knew I was out of town and stayed in contact with me throughout the process. Thank you again for taking care of my daughter and making the process easy for us. She knows to only bring her car to you guys in the future. Also, the UMHB student discount and coupons for future auto repairs/maintenance was an added bonus!

Brent and the team went above and beyond on taking care my daughters car! They did so well, I went back and had a rear brake job completed on my wife’s car. Their price was competitive as any others and done quick.

They can give you quote without the half hour hassle most mechanics give you. Have had miscellaneous work done on different vehicles here, they always complete the work on time or before, and have had zero issues with the problems they completed the work on since.

These guys are a nice bunch if fellows, and always do a good job on my car. Theyve been very good to me on finding the best prices on parts, etc. And they will always speak with you about what the problem is with your vehicle, prices, and wont start any job without your permission ! Ive gone to BK for 10 years and have always found them to the best in Bell County till this morning. My truck started cutting out last night so I took it to BK. I was told without an appointment they could not help me. Guess they have gone the way of big shops. So sad to say goodbye to a used to be good place.

While I was waiting for the nail to be removed from my truck tire, I witnessed an older lady who had brought her car in because she thought she had damaged it. The worker brought her the keys and assured her that it was just fine. No damage, no charge.When they took the nail out of my tire, no damage, no charge.I am very impressed with Jones and will always take my vehicles there. And when mom moves here in a few months, her car also.Thanks Jones!!!

I moved to the area about 2 years ago. Since then, I have consistently taken my cars to Jones for regular maintenance and I would say that they are very helpful, courteous and do a great job for a reasonable price. I HIGHLY recommend Jones Home & Auto Supply. You wont be disappointed.As a side benefit, they are just around the corner from Arushas coffee house. So if you like to enjoy a coffee drink, etc. while waiting for your car, you can easily walk to the shop and get some work done while you wait.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Jones Auto employees are nice, but that is where it ends. They rip people off, badly. I took my car there to get my a/c fixed, setup an appointment and dropped it off at 9am. They said it would be done by end of day. Estimate was ~$400. When they called me back they rattled off a whole list of problems that totaled almost 3k. I said I want my a/c fixed, that is it. They said $700. Once they took apart my car, they called and said it would be slightly over 1k. After I said put it back together Ill take it somewhere else the price got lowered to a little over $900. The next day I had to bring it back in and they had to repair the brand new a/c system they fully replaced.Friend just went there because he heard a popping noise from one of his tires and a/c wouldnt blow cold after running for an extended amount of time. He paid something like $1500 on the list of things they gave him. He drove home and none of the problems were fixed. Not only that, it was worse than before, the noise had gotten way louder and they repaired the wrong wheel. He took it back after they made him wait days, and they fixed the wheel barrings, but stated the a/c problem (which is exactly the same) was a new problem and he would have to pay more to fix that. Also they wanted to let him know that his check engine light came on after they worked on it (never on before after 7 years of ownership). So they wouldnt fix his a/c without new charges and wont refund the crappy work they did that did nothing to fix the problem. The last estimate was another 1200 dollars on top of the 1500 dollars he already paid. So in conclusion, to get wheel bearings fixed at this place costs about 1500 dollars, mind you only in one wheel.

I made an appointment for today and they were honest and upfront about what the issue with my car was, and I ended up paying less than what they quoted me . Contacted them about an alignment and pricing and they gave me the price. I went in to get the alignment didnt even make it in to the shop, and was told they were all booked and they couldnt see me unless I had an appointment. It wouldve been nice for the perwon to gave me a price to advice me that an appointment was required. To top it off no vehicles were in their bay.

I have been using Jones since I moved to Belton in 2007. I have to say the service is second to none. I would never trust any other mechanic. Last night my gear shifter locked. I could not get it out of park without using a screwdriver. I thought maybe it was an electrical problem or a transmission problem. Jones immediately knew it was a fuse and they changed it for me. When my breaks needed work Jones had the best price and I thought I needed to change all 4, another mechanic told me I needed to replace all of my roters. Jones said no, only the front and they got the best deal for me then quickly took care of the problem. I was in and out in one day. Not only that but they gave me a ride home so I could rest while they worked. I love Jones Auto and I recommend them. They tell you up front if it will take a while and are always respectful, courteous and honest.

My husband and I had issues with both of our vehicles in the same weekend. Joness got both vehicles in and out in less than 24 hours. Both needed expensive repairs, but Joness didnt overcharge us. Great customer service and honest prices.
