My Covid booster shot was fast, efficient, and I might add painless. The store only gets 4 stars because of the confusing checkout arrangement. There are 2 signs for waiting full serve and self serve. I waited in the full serve while 2 people after me were served by a teller from the self serve line. When I questioned the teller I was told they take people from both lines. So why the signs, I dont think they know.

Totally done with Ride Aid. Last year my family all god flu shots at this location. Our insurance has not changed. I made us an appointment for a week in advance, filled out all our forms online, added our insurance information. Even took pictures of both sides of each insurance card. Came in right on time for our appointments today was told they rejected our insurance we we could all take a hike. This is despite the email saying You will not be turned away if you do not have an ID or insurance. I love how they have no problems wasting our time, yet couldnt be bothered to check if we are covered in the dozen emails and texts I got about the upcoming appointment. This brings the question: Why does Rite Aid exist?

Unexpected finds and a wide selection - This Rite Aid location surprisingly had a wide range of affordable and organic foods, many cheaper than anywhere else. This Rite Location also has the biggest and widest selection of beer and spirits Ive seen in any other location, all at bargain prices if you have a Rite Aid rewards card.

The price of my item was $4 (~30%) higher in store than it was listed on their website, and employees cannot honor the online price. Completely misleading.

This rating is solely for the pharmacy.I recently moved here a couple months ago, but I’ve been using Rite Aid as my pharmacy for years now. I have a lot of prescriptions to fill. This one is hands-down the worst one.I don’t know what it is, but communication here is awful. I’ve had to, on several occasions, play phone tag with my doctor and this pharmacy to get prescriptions I’ve had for years. Some prescriptions I refill just fine, and then suddenly they’re having issues with scripts. Just recently I had a script that’s not expired on my doctor’s end, but on their end it is... so I had to do a back and forth and missed a dose. The wait here is also very long in comparison to other Rite Aids I’ve been to. An hour wait is something I haven’t experienced before.Lastly, some of these pharmacists have attitude/are rude, and I don’t get it. I’m very polite when I come in. There are one/two kind people working there, but when I’m just picking up a prescription or needing something filled... sometimes I’m met with impatience. Not a good customer experience. Thinking about going elsewhere, and I literally live just up the street.

Sells a decent amount of toiletries and products, however it wasnt that well organized and some items were difficult to find. Didnt have a problem with the staff, service was good. It usually isnt busy, especially in morning hours, so if you need to stop by for a quick item or two this is a fine place. Prices are good, though the store wasnt in the best shape.

I have been going to rite aid pharmacy on 36th street at sehome village for several years and I love doing business with them. They are all very nice and work in a timely fashion to get me out of there quickly especially during this Covid season. I moved to the other end of town a little over a year ago and I still travel to them rather than use a closer pharmacy because I love and trust them so much. I wouldn’t trade them unless I were forced to do so. I highly recommend them.

Call ahead, because you cant expect the pharmacy to actually function properly. Ive had this happen multiple times.I get a prescription called in at noon. I showed up at 3pm for it. I was told my account doesnt exist. Thats not correct; Ive picked up prescriptions before. I wait in a second line to ask about it.My account exists, but no prescription was called in. Thats not right; my doctor called in 3 hours ago!I call my doctor for clarification. She looked at her call history and told me she definitely left a message.I go back to the second line. I say a message was left. The guy tells me there isnt a message. I retort with a definite yes, there is. He finds it written down. Someone wrote it down and it was never filled. Tells me itll be ready in an hour! Im already here, so why do I need to come back later?Thats unacceptable. Fill it now! Its not my fault others have to wait. Its your fault. Entire experience was a disappointment from beginning to end.

The store itself is fine and dandy, but the pharmacy is one of the worst I’ve ever seen. I had to stop taking my birth control because they couldn’t put a sticker on a package within 10 hours. I called my two medications in at about 9am and was told they’d be ready by 11. I went in a little before 1, no prescriptions ready. I told the pharmacist I needed it by 6 because I was leaving town and needed to leave by 7 at the latest. I went in at 7pm, and my prescriptions still weren’t ready. The said it would be another 10 minutes for the birth control. I waited, and it still wasn’t filled. So I left without it. This was only one example of the difficulties I’ve had at this pharmacy. Very disappointing service.

Its an okay place to buy some candy or maybe a can of tennis balls, but dont even bother to try to get your prescriptions filled here. Its the worst pharmacy Ive ever dealt with in my life. My child has type 1 diabetes and getting his insulin prescriptions there is harder than arranging brain surgery. Nott a single person in that pharmacy cares at all if you get your life saving medication. It is the most poorly managed business I have ever dealt with. I hardly ever leave negative reviews but feel compelled to do so in this unusual case of incompetence. I will never use rite aid Sehome again.

This store features good prices -- especially on seasonal goods -- and friendly service. Store personnel, though oftentimes, understaffed, know their merchandise and are typically anxious to be helpful. Corporate controls slow the process of honoring coupons and special pricing, but staff and management alike are motivated to promote the best interests of customers even when the system slows and interferes with that objective.

Lets be honest. I love this pharmacy. I dont care that just about the whole University uses it and so its constantly busy. Mark is so kind and great at his job and he learns everyones name. I havent had a bad experience with the staff here. Not once. They always get me taken care of. Even when some crazy stuff has happened. They just try so hard to help and it shows.

I have attempted to use their pharmacy for two years and each time have been throughly disappointed. Two years ago I went to pick up a prescription that had been sent from my doctor. I was told it would be about an hour long wait and they would text me when the prescription was complete. I wandered around the store and ended up leaving and waiting somewhere else. Two and a half hours later I went back in and asked for an update on the order. They told me they hadnt even had me in their system and werent processing my prescription. I had to sit and wait an additional 30 minutes for them to fill it.A few months after that I went to pick up another prescription and was told the same thing. I sat and waited in their waiting room for 2 hours while making eye contact with the staff. Eventually I got up and asked for an update. No surprise, they had no clue I was even there. So again, I waited over 2 hours for one prescription.A few months ago, they did the same exact thing.Recently I had two prescriptions sent over to the incorrect pharmacy. I went online and requested they be transferred to this Rite Aid. The next day I went in to ask for an update on the transfer. They said they had no record of it. I wrote down my name, prescription names, and the other pharmacys info. After several days with no update, I went back in. Same thing- no record of my requests. I wrote down the same info and left empty-handed again. My third time in the store I got the chance to briefly speak to one of the pharmacists. Her explanation was the other pharmacy was too busy, interesting considering that I headed immediately to my car and called them. They picked up right away and I begged them to send the prescription over since Rite Aid was incompetent of handling it themselves. On my fourth visit in I was told the same exact thing they had said each prior visit- there was no record of those prescriptions under my name. Finally, someone looked further into it and discovered that one of them had made the decision to not fill it because they were also available over the counter. At this point, I was livid. It is not their decision to make whether or not I need to pick up the medication over the counter or not. They made this decision for me and failed to provide me with any answers across a two week period while I tried to get my prescriptions. Absolutely horrible care and zero consideration for the customer. And then there was today. I had a prescription sent over around noon and went in around 1:30 to pick it up or at least wait in person. They hadnt even begun to work on it and told me it would be a minimum of an hour wait. I get it, there are people before me waiting, but Im physically here now and looking around the waiting room and the pharmacy there is no one else waiting. I went home and now 9 hours later my prescription is still not filled. I am in severe pain and have been counting on this prescription to come through. I cannot drive so its not an option for me to simply take it somewhere else. But if I could I would gladly take my prescription to the Walgreens across the street and happily wait the 15 minutes it takes them to fill it.Zero consideration for the people theyre serving and their mistakes. Additionally, there have been multiple occasions where they have rung me up for a different persons prescriptions and I had to be the one to stop them.Go somewhere else.

Though this is one of the busiest pharmacies in Bellingham, the customer service cannot be beat. It is what keeps us coming back here rather than to one of the others that are less busy. Recently, I needed a refill for a medication I must take to travel and I, unfortunately, waited until the last minute before contacting the pharmacy. Joanna, fortunately, noticed the prescription had been written incorrectly and spent a great deal of time with me and my doctor getting it all straightened out. This took numerous phone calls but she kept me updated every step of the way, relieving my stress AND filling it in time for my trip. This is not the first time that Joanna has demonstrated her kindness and professionalism. She makes absolutely sure we understand our medications and is always punctual with our prescriptions. While there are other pharmacies closer to us, we go out of our way because of Joanna and the rest of the staff at Sehomes pharmacy. We are customers not because its Rite Aid but because of Joanna. Thank you for her and, consequently, Rite Aids attention to true customer service.
