Took car to get brake inspection, only to; after waiting hour and half, told that they couldnt do the work since I had locking hubs and no key given to me when purchased car, yet have been able to take tires off myself before. Theres the reason I dont like chain places. Was more than happy to pay a private, local mechanic at Doug Barnettes place.

I made an appointment for 1 pm for both fixing a tire and alignment. No one called me since I used the online reservation form. The online form clearly saids “we will call if the time is unavailable”. Got to the appointment 2 hrs early to learn they could not help me until 5 pm and would not be able to do my alignment at all. Although the gentleman was nice, my tire still has a nail in it and the alignment is not fixed.

I have gone to firestone for years for my vehicle and trailers. Today my experience was by far the worst Ive had. I live over an hour a way. I called ahead of time to see if they had tires for my truck and my wifes suv. They only had tires for my truck in stock which was fine. I asked if I need an appointment and was told I could drop my truck off and come get it a few hours later. An hour and a half later I walked in to drop my truck off and the gentleman at the counter told me it could not be done today and I would have to set up a time or drop it off and get it tomorrow after they have a chance to get to it. I told him I just called and he began to argue with me and tell me he never told me that walkins were welcome and they could have it done today. If I would have been told that I couldnt get it today on the phone, than I would have made an appointment and not spent 3 hours of my day driving back and forth for no reason. My main problem is the attitude and arguing when I know what I was told on the phone.

Bought tires here in Feb., drove less than 18k miles, they were about to blow on the side of the road in middle of nowhere... They refuse to honor their warranty, even though they never balanced my tires and obviously rushed to get the job done. DO NOT GO HERE!!

Why have an online scheduling system, if it does not sync with your store. I made an appointment on-line today to have my brakes fixed. They called an said they have no spots available until Friday. I now have no vehicle to get to work, or do anything until I can find a competent establishment to work on my car!

I applaud them on their honesty. My beaks where squeaky so I took my car in to get breaks done and they checked it out for me. They told me they still measured fine and that it was normal for the area. I feel like if this was any other place they would have changed them and charged me. I am very happy with their customer service and integrity.

Did an oil change here, $56 which wasnt bad. They did lots of little extras for me, they took about 30min. Lobby definitely had that car shop dingy-ness to it but who cares. Guy I spoke to at the counter was nice and they got me in and out quickly, no complaints!

Mike is an excellent service manager. I really appreciate his professionalism and friendly demeanor. He help me get the right kind of tires for my Titan and and was super informative. The oil change was affordable and they were very helpful in alerting me that I needed a new air filter. Ill definitely be back when its time for another service. Great guys!

Had our vehicle towed there, for a flat tire, Went there for tire repair, and before we could get a word out and get our truck off the tow truck the guy says we dont SELL THOSE TIRES, here, and states, that tire looks BURNED.And refused to go any further.

Don’t get here, Mike has horrible customer service and didn’t listen to instructions. I told him I’d come after hours to get my car with my spare key and he locked my car in their garage so I was without a car and had to miss work. When asked why he said “ I forgot”

First experience was great, they got my breaks fixed in half the time promised and everyone was nice. The second experience has me worried, almost feels like I was scammed. Was told something was wrong with my steering wheel, the guy mumbled the price, I asked him to repeat and he mumbled again something that sounded like 80$ and some change. When it came time to pay suddenly that price jumped to $800 and something just feels off about it all.. dont think Ill be back here.

Called before I visited, Dan, was so rude over the phone I decided that maybe a face to face encounter would be different so I drove down. I had questions about my 70,000 mile warranty on my tires I paid a lot of money for. Dan wouldn’t even get out of his chair to visually inspect my tires on the vehicle parked 30 feet away. Then his buddy walked in the door and they decided to tag team me with shenanigans about how tires don’t come with warranties. They continued to tell me “you need to bring the car in so we can look at it.” I was like “it’s right there!” This was all going down about 1 hour and 40 minutes before closing time. All the lift bays were empty, there was not a soul in the store except for Dan. I have never been treated with such disrespect. I’m regretting purchasing any goods/services from this establishment. If I owned this business I’d fire the guy. So I promptly drove home and got on Firestone’s website and found the warranty information I needed, I will likely drive my unsafe vehicle to Marysville to see if the customer service there is better. I hear through other reviews people have had better luck down there. I’ve also read a lot about dan in these reviews...

Mean customer service. Maybe cashier(dan) was moody today? I don’t know.They were one of places I used to recommend a lot to my customer for their services in the past. I moved closer to them so I wanted to start doing more business with them. I asked them to do a service and they failed. And I didn’t question it cause I knew they know how to go do their job, but I was treated not in a right way. I told them I’ll go back in there tomorrow to set up my account but I pretty much see no point of going there if I don’t wanna do any business with them. They might do a good job but if they don’t know how to talk to customers sometimes I guess.

The staff was very friendly. I booked my appointment online and was given a discount/coupon on my oil change. My brakes have been squeakimg for a year now, even after the pads wee replaced by another retailer. They offered a solution that was cost effective, and it worked perfect!! No more squeaky brakes!! Super happy with my service!!!

Took my car to Schwabs a week before and they said my tires were good and I had another couple thousand miles on them. Took off from there and the wheel was still shaking! I took it to Firestone and in less than an hour they told me my tire is separated and it need replaced. They also let me know that it needed an alignment. They completed the work and now its driving like new.

The staff offers nothing less than excellent service here. I have found them to be very honest which I appreciate. I recently took my car to the dealership for a 60k mile service. (I thought I had to take it to the dealership for these types of services). On top of the very expensive service fee, the dealership told me I needed a new part that cost $400 after tax. I get every other service done at Firestone in Bellingham, so took my car here for a second opinion. They told me the part was fine and did not need replaced. Saved me a lot of money. They took time to show me the part and explain why it did not need replaced. I learned today that I can do my services here. From now on, I will come to Firestone for everything including routine services. Thank you to Brian, Mike, and Dan for your help and saving me money. See you soon for an oil change!

Negative 5 stars if possible. This place has got to be the biggest joke in the state of Washington the staff is very limited in knowledge about whats going on in their shop. They dont know how to make appointments and stay true to them let alone work on a vehicle. The stupidity amazes me if you value your time and vehicle Id recommend you look for another repair facility one that has the capability of using something called communication. Fire Stone you just lost a customer and any possible friend or family your staff is very unprofessional and simply does not care about the customers time or concerns.

I popped two tires while driving and my friend and I came here to fix it.I put the car on the curb and was afraid of other issues like CV joints, tie rods, serpentine belt etc. from the impact of the hit.Since I dont know an awful lot about cars I had to trust them to not do what happens 90% of the time when you go into the shop which is upsale problems.I am happy with my experience and that they were able to complete the job and make the car drivable in such a short amount of time.

I took my Malibu in today for a long overdue oil change and the customer service was wonderful. They did it in a timely manner as well. I will be back for maintenance on my car with them. All my concerns were addressed and when I thought I had issues they assured me there wasnt and everything looked good. Definately recommend this place. Service and prices were great, but the customer service guy was something else. Right behind me a gentleman came in holding a wheel for what looked like a riding mower. About 5 feet inside the door the customer service guy yells, Nope, we cant help you. I just need to fix a flat. No, Im sorry we only work on vehicles. Customer service guy then spoke badly about the guy quite loudly as he left.Its a shame, they lost a few customers that day instead of making an extra sale.

Work seems okay, but not so sure about their mechanics. Left a new box of mints in the door pocket and when I picked up my car only a third was left. Not a huge deal money-wise, but theft is theft, and it makes you wonder what else they are rifling through with sticky fingers...

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! I was in a pinch and needed a nail out of my tire and Les Schwab is closed on Sundays so I took my CR-V here. It took them 7 hours and when I picked up my car I thought it was all fine. But the next morning I was on my way down to Seattle and my steering wheel was shaking horribly which is something I’ve never had an issue with. I pulled off and took it into a Les Schwab in Mount Vernon and they let me know my tire was still losing air and was flat. So Firestone didn’t help me out after all and I wish I could give this negative stars. They had my car for 7 hours and did absolutely nothing.

I would not go back. To be fair, my tire, that was under warrantee, had a problem that was difficult to diagnose. However the service I received at the counter was condescending and unhelpful. Because I did not get the help I needed, I went to the tire center at Costco and they were able to find the problem, refused to charge me, and I drove off to another Firestone dealer in Maryville to have the problem resolved. A long drive but well worth the absence of attitude that exists at the Firestone in Bellingham.

Awful service! Our 18 year old daughter had a flat tire on 11/12/17 at 7:30 am when she was trying to leave Bellingham to get to work in Redmond where we live. They refused to help her because there were 7 cars before her and they said she would have to leave the car for the day. She was just driving through, she was crying, she needed help. They wouldnt even help her put on the spare. My husband had to call and he begged Michael to at least help her put on the spare so that she could make it to work. Michael eventually agreed to help her, but said keep in mind, I am helping her instead of SEVEN OTHER customers. He looked at the tire and told her she needed a new one even though the tire had nail in the tread and not the sidewall. They MADE her buy a new tire in order for them to even help her - no integrity and rude employees at this location.

If you are in a hurry to have your car serviced this is a decent place. However they do tend to charge a premium. And watch the bill. They put in a new radiator for us and charged us a seperate fee for a new radiator cap. But the thing is we had just bought a new radiator cap the day before, thinking that was out problem. And they were charging us twice what we paid for the cap. They did take the charge off when we pointed it out.

The employees here are friendly and energetic until the sales receipt is signed. Then they are the worst. My brand new tire was flat every morning for three days before they could get me in to fix. Then tried blaming it on my 4,6 and 9 yr old boys...said that they were letting air out of tire....even though after resealing it I never had the problem again...then 9 months later I had to get brakes done to find out it was going to be an extra $60 because they overtightened my lug nut and I had to replace the wheel stud because of it. Called corporate who supposedly filed complaint with store manager who was supposed to call and make this right and never did. DONT GO HERE! I would definitely recommend Les Schwab or Discount any day over these people at Firestone.

I would rate this 0 stars if possible because these jerks BLATANTLY tried to SCAM me! Please read this in full so you know what kinds of things they might try to get away with.A friend of mine recommended them to me, so I called them when my car had started to leak engine coolant and asked them how much they would charge to take a look at it and lemme know what the problem is. The guy on the phone said it would be $29.99 plus tax. That sounded fine to me so I told him to make an appointment for that for me. I also have that call recorded on my phone for proof. I went in a couple days later when my appointment was and dropped off my car. When I gave the guy at the front desk my keys, his EXACT WORDS were Okay, just one sign-off before ya go, just sign right here. And he laid a paper down on the desk and leaned in it with his arms, covering the top half of the paper. I didnt think anything was off just yet, because I hadnt been into a car repair place before, so I figured it was just a consent form for them to look at it or something. No big deal. I signed and left.About roughly 2ish hours later, they called and told me I had a bad radiator hose, another one that was almost bad, and a belt needing replaced. They SPECIFICALLY SAID that the hose repairs would run 278 bucks, but if I wanna replace the belt, then plus labor it would come up to 547. And again, I had recorded THIS call too, and listened to it over and over to make sure I didnt simply mishear. Now I only wanted to know what was wrong, as I had an outlet to get parts and repairs for cheaper, so I declined the repair.Heres where the scam almost got me. I went in to pickup my car, and remember I had scheduled the $29.99 service and declined anything else. Well the guy walks out, looks me dead in the eye, and said it would be over $90 that was now due. Um....EXCUSE ME!? Turns out my car got a much more thorough service without ever once getting my consent. BUT THATS NOT ALL! When I said I had made the appointment for the $30 service, he pulls out a copy of the paper I signed, and it detailed I was having a $90 service, and CONVENIENTLY the guy just so happened to be covering the paper EXACTLY where it said a COMPLETELY different price than what I had agreed to. So I told the guy it was wrong, that I never saw this price change and didnt agree to it, so he pops off with, Well you DID read and sign the paper. LIKE HELL I DID! Then I asked him when I was even signed up for the more expensive service in the FIRST place, and he said it was the day I scheduled the appointment. I called him on the lie and pulled out my phone, telling him I recorded the call and could prove it right then and there that I was right by simply playing the recording. He was quick and frantic to stop me, trying to tell me that it would somehow be EXTREMELY illegal to do that. HOW!? BECAUSE IT WOULD PROVE ON THE SERVEILENCE CAMERAS THAT YOU WERE SCAMMING ME!? He said the guy Dan made the appointment, and could have made a mistake, but when I asked them to call Dan and ask, they avoided that completely. Didnt even say no, just avoided it.And thats STILL NOT ALL! Eventually I had gotten so pissed that the guy lowered the price to the originally agreed upon $30 but not before being EXTREMELY rude and snide. On my way out, I was reviewing the paper he gave me detailing everything and GET THIS. That estimate for $547 to fix everything? That was ANOTHER lie! According to the paper, that would have been the LABOR ALONE, and the actual whole process would have cost me $924. SO IF I SAID GO AHEAD WITH THE $500 REPAIR, I WOULD HAVE BEEN STUCK WITH ALMOST $1000 BILL AND HAD NO IDEA!!!So thats TWO cases in the SAME DAY of them BLATANTLY LYING to me to try and suck more money out of me without my say so. Not to mention, the parts themselves are only gonna cost me less than $100 from a very reputable source. So even without the sketchy business practices and lies, thats still 10 times what its worth. Theyre crooks, and tried to take advantage of me, stay away!!!

Had a friend agree to having her radiator hose changed because it felt soft conveniently they didnt have the soft radiator hoses afterward. When I went with her to pick it up because I thought the charge of 350 dollars to change 2 radiator hoses was exhorbitant I asked about every charge. When the guy got to the two hoses that were 86 dollars he tried to tell me and even showed me that the price was the same price as NAPA sells them for. When I pulled out my cell phone and went to NAPAs website the parts were only 34 dollars for the pair. Then he tried to explain it that they needed to make a profit off of the parts. I would not recommend anyone go here unless they want to be taken advantage of.

Sent our 2011 vehicle in with a popped tire.Said we needed another rear though we didnt. $175Dog leash missing out of the car. $15Aux cable missing out of the car. $17Called us at 6:45pm to tell us we could pick our car up anytime.. immediately took a taxi.. they close at 7pm so the car is Locked inside... had to take the taxi home. $25Had the audacity to tell me that its against policy to take property out of the car.. oh.. nobody stole it because its against policy.. soo..
