Great buy here - pay here in Omaha. We bought a Honda from them about 2 years ago. We paid our payment of $250 every month. If we were late a bit, they understood and were very respectful. In a year, the car was ours. The car is still running strong. Their prices are a bit higher, due to it being a buy here. But we expected that since they work with people with bad credit or little cash down.We will be going again to purchase a second car here soon. If you go, ask for Jose. He worked with us and was very helpful.

Recently my brakes (I think) have been having problems. I called the guys and they are fixing it right up. These guys are literally the best guys I have worked with. Anytime I call them with a problem or concern, they help. As long as you COMMUNICATE with them, they will help you. If they dont know what it is wrong they cant help you. They always offer to change my oil and I get a receipt for my payments. As a woman, these guys are kind, courteous, and really care for you. Additionally, my headlight went out and it is being fixed while they have my truck. I cant even put into words how much these guys are like family. If you are respectful and talk them about what is going on they will help.

I have bought 5 cars from them over the years. They are very honest people. they tell you if a car has issues and or if you will be happy with it. they let you test drive their cars overnight and have them checked out at your mechanic. some cars are junk and some are really good. its up to you to decide what you want.. cars are decently priced and they will barter on prices/payments.

Last summer bought a car from them I am still making payments but unfortunately it has sat more than it’s ever been driven. 1st week of ownership the distributor had to be replaced. I had hopes that because it was a Camry it would be a reliable car but it’s been the worst money pit of a vehicle that I have ever owned. I was told all vehicles get all checked out thoroughly before it’s sold but I would have to say this is definitely not the case. Still owe $1000 on it before it’s paid off and I can only get $300 to junk it. I definitely won’t be buying anything else from them again.

Nice people, but every vehicle we purchased had major mechanical problems and all of them ended up putting us down. If you can afford to flip cars then they are good but any problems your on your own.

American Auto really SCORES when it comes to customer service. My family and I have been going there for over 18 years. I recently traded in my vehicle and got a new one. Not only did they give me a fair trade in price but gave me a great deal on my new truck. They have always gone above and beyond to help us. Unlike most car places, these men are honest and if the vehicle isnt a right fit or a complete money hog they will tell you. If anything does go wrong with the vehicle they work with a local shop and you to get the vehicle fixed. They are great with communication and truly care for their customers. Ive bought two minivans so far and used them for work. They have both made me a lot of money. The staff are easy to work with and go out of there way to take care of you. I sent my son and my sister down there and they couldnt be happier. I wouldnt send family to someone who would take advantage of them. You can bet Ill be back for my next.

I had financial difficulties the last few months ..My SUV broke down. I told them and they fixed it graciously. They also charged me 300 we made payment arrangements to pay 50 extra each time I made a car payment.I ended up putting another 500 in it the following week because they said they would not do work on my vehicle until I paid the 300. ..with car payment of 300 each month til the monies for repairs were paid. Two weeks ago I was driving and the car suddenly STOPPED RUNNING ON THE INTERSTATE. I lost my cell and they were not able to get ahold of me so Steve showed up at my home at 845PM tonight knocking at the door..I looked out the window and there he was . I asked if he was here to get the vehicle. He said oh no I came to see what was going on with the payment he was dressed all in black...I did not see his car so I asked where his vehicle was. And he said. That he just parked down the street because he was not sure of the address ...???I explained I had to have the car fixed and I spent 850 to get it to where it was going to run. And i will have to eventually pay 3000 dollars to get everything it really needs including tires. I asked if he wanted the SUV back tomorrow when I go got it....then he asked what I could do for payments to get caught up. So I told him I could give 200 Monday and another payment in two weeks. And then at the end of the month. I asked if he was sure..he said yes. He was polite and he was professional...but I felt he was there for the vehicle. I told him before if he was ever to take the vehicle knock I would give it to him politely...he didnt need to sneak it. I am going to give him the monies according to what we agreed...hope they allow me til the end of the month as as Steve agreed as was agreed by both of us to get caught up and in a couple months I will own the vehicle ORI will wake and they will have repossessed the vehicle and life goes on..I have to do the right thing regardless of what Steve may or may not choose to do. They are good people and have been patiently working with me. Steve has always been very approachable and the others also. Business is business that does not make them awful people...it is what it is..pray for me folks I really need that vehicle...

I had a tire almost come off on the interstate after a guy put it on wrong. The guys came to my rescue fast and helped me get a new tire so I didnt have to keep driving on my donut. These guys have been there for me everytime. I cant say anything but nice things about them. They are good, honest people and Im so glad I decided to go with this car lot just when I thought things were falling apart they helped me.

Been getting told they cant help me with car repairs or diagnostics because they said that I missed a payment. I told them that I didnt miss a payment. I never miss payments. I dont know what they did with my paperwork but I dont understand the way they do business. Even if my customer missed a payment unless they deliberately done so i wouldnt hold it against them. I am trying to get caught up now. We will see.

Got a suv from them they said once i got to $1000 left to pay i could trade it in for something new and now they tell me i cant because they bamk ownes the title of the vehicleI WILL NOT BE GOING BACK HERE

Very poor service. Ordered a transmission for my 95 Blazer on a Wednesday, was told that it would most likley be there monday, come the next Wednesday i finally made a call and they said oh yeah we just called you, we just got it in but nobody called at all. It was just luck that i called otherwise i probably would have no idea what was going on. When i got the transmission yeah it looked nice but it was missing the filter, gasket, and only had 2 out of 12 bolts for the cover of the filter. So, i had to sit and call around all the hard ware stores in hopes to find the right bolt. I didnt. Thank u American Auto Sales for a great waste of time!!

First I got to say Jose, is the greatest. I mean it. Then the shop is next. So let me tell you I had a really bad experience with Car Nation. Well, I came to American Auto on that weekend, after I had to threaten Car Nation to get my money back from them for a down payment on a car that they could not get me. Well I got the money back on a Saturday, and took it to American Autos one and only Jose, and within a half an hour I was in a bad ass little PT Cruiser...and it has been since February, and I am posting this in July and I have not had one problem with the car, well the air didnt work, but they fixed it...and gave me a loaner, MY A/C is freaking COLD. Also they are open 7 days a week until 10:00 PM so you have no excuse to not get here and BUY HERE PAY HERE. This is the location for everyone and anyone who needs a BUY HERE PAY HERE, dont get stuck with them YUPPY CAR LOTS ON L ST, go here, I promise you will be happy. If they can make me happy, they can make anyone happy. AMERICAN AUTO EMPLOYEES ARE ALL ROCKSTARS........DONT PASS A GOOD THING UP.

I bought a suv from them and was on time for about six months then i lost my job and had to move i got a new job and was only one month behind and kept in contact with them and was going to make a payment on my pay day and i woke up to my truck gone come to find out they came to my house at four in the morning and reposed it and so i missed work that day and missed getting my pay check so i will never buy from them or tell anyone to buy and they even ripped me of on my trade in.
