First, they got me in last minute for a salon appt, which was awesome because I desperately needed it.. Esther cut probably about 12 inches of my head and gave me a cute bob cut that I absolutely adore!(Ive never gone this short so I was a bit nervous.) She helped me pick out a color gloss to cover the remaining grown out highlights, a deep but beautiful brown. She did AMAZING and Im blown away. Ask for Esther you will not be disappointed, thank you so much!

I shop at Ulta at least every other month, I’m a platinum rewards member, and spend an average of $200 during each visit. I’ve always enjoyed shopping at Ulta and the sales people are always so helpful ; except for today’s visit. Not one sales person asked me if I needed help or if I was finding everything I needed, but instead I was followed around the store by numerous employees the entire time I was there and watched like I was a thief! I was uncomfortable the whole time I was there. Only the cashier, Claudia, treated me like a paying customer. I will still visit Ulta for my makeup and hair care needs BUT it will never again be at this location! Today I spent $280 for the products I bought. I realize that I was dressed in a t-shirt and workout pants but maybe the employees shouldn’t judge the customers by how they look.

Scheduled a hair appointment weeks ago when I asked about vaccination status found out no one in the store has been vaccinated, but they are out front vaping. Canceled all my upcoming appointments the company needs to get on the ball with this and require it.

Every person working in the store (stocking shelves, working the floor and cashiering) was very friendly and willing to offer help. The inventory was abundant with a huge variety in all categories of skincare, haircare, fragrances, makeup and related accessories. Everything was clean and organized/neatly displayed. The atmosphere was relaxing with bright lighting, uplifting music and comfortably air conditioned. I not only found the products I wanted but I had a very enjoyable shopping experience!

I love Ulta, but some of the employees are hit or miss in terms of helpfulness. Yesterday when I went I asked for a vegan moisturizer and the girl said they do not carry anything like that! I said not even Tarte? She said she did not think they had a moisturizer, but when we walked over, sure enough there was the moisturizer with a giant sign that said 100% vegan.I know their are a lot of products for the employees to know, but a simple response to a question you are not sure of is let me ask someone else. I think a customer would appreciate that more than saying a 2000 square foot store does not carry a certain type of product.

I would not recommend doing pick-up orders at this locations. I showed the pick-up barcode to the cashier and she didn’t even scan it. She asked my name and pulled an order, asked to see my ID, and then tried to give me the wrong order. Imagine if I had taken that order. I would personally be very upset if a place gave my order to someone else after supposedly verifying the name matches the ID, when it clearly doesn’t. I also work retail and have to verify confirmation emails and IDs for pick-up orders and always am careful to actually read the name on the ID before giving someone an order. I didn’t get the cashier’s name, but she’s obviously careless about her job and should really be more cautious. At least scan the barcode and actually read the license.

Employees are never very friendly here.They make you feel like they are doing you a favor. The last time i went the cashier even accused my friend of opening a makeup palette, and it was the sample that was labeled sample and was supposed to be open.I dont know if all Ultas are as unwelcoming as the one in Beavercreek but I really dont enjoy shopping at that one.

I got my hair cut 2 weeks ago. My hair is naturally wavy. After the cut I was asked if I wanted a blown out with wave? I said yes. What I got was a blow dry with her fingers until it was dry and wavy, and then she curled it. Fine, whatever. It looked fine. I typically wear my hair wavy, and have for the last 2 weeks, since I got it cut. Today, I straightened it for the first time. ITS AWFUL. All I asked for was a trim with layers. The EASIEST THING YOU COULD DO. These are not layers. Its chopped into 2 different lengths, and unevenly. It goes up and down. Its not blended. Its CHOPPED. I paid 55 effing dollars for this. I made a follow up appt for a trim while I was there. Im out of town, but as soon as I am home, Im calling to cancel. I will NEVER set foot in an Ulta salon again. Thats FOR SURE.

I tried to pickup my online order today via curbside pickup and my experience was not pleasant at all. My issue is if you are going to offer curbside pickup please have an associate(s) direct traffic or offer other means for people to pick up their orders. This location is in a high volume and high traffic area. There was already a vehicle parked facing the wrong direction literally facing oncoming traffic and the associates expected me to do the same. If I have to park where oncoming traffic could possibly hit my car then we have an issue. Also, if I express my concerns about how the curbside pickup is ran why not offer solutions that would be beneficial for both of us and not refuse to bring out my order that I paid for. This pandemic has taught me to remember how these businesses treat you during these tough times and by my experience today I won’t be supporting Ulta.

Any kind of makeup or brand of beauty supply you might need whether drug store brand or high end they usually have it very competitively priced. Signing up for their clubs gets you some nice bonuses! Love me some Ulta. My teen daughter and I have blown more than a few hours wandering the Ulta over on Fairfield Rd. Always very nice and clean!

I went in today hoping to find some makeup by myself. I’m glad I asked Tory for help because she is SO VERY good at what she does. I left with everything that she recommended because I couldn’t believe what I saw in the mirror after she did my makeup. I’ve tried tons of products, mostly high end brands and nothing has worked. I’m so very thankful that she helped me today !!! ❤️

I am writing this review specifically because of my latest experience with this store. I have came here multiple times and every time everybody is always really nice and eager to help. (I work in retail as well so its appreciated) A girl named charity helped me find a perfect foundation and then gave me some free clique samples and Im IN LOVEEE with them!!! So so happy that she gave those to me. & then I went to the checkout and there were two cashiers who were so nice and patient with my returns. (really wish i could remember their names) Overall just wanted to say it was a great experience shopping at this location.

Funny, everyone told me Ulta employees wont talk to you unless youre beautiful or if you walk in with a full face of makeup - which are apparently codependent.I never believed them, but sure enough my girlfriend and I came in and honestly, Im pretty old fashioned and if Im not greeted or acknowledged, Ill spend my money elsewhere. Girlfriend is much nicer than I am, and I dont think she was as disappointed as I was, because thats apparently normal.Maybe try... not doing that?

This review is applicable to the Beauty Services at Beaver-creek location.I went in for a micro dermabrasion treatment with Amanda. Amanda is a really nice person & treats her clients respectfully. The treatment did give fruitful results my acne scars were reduced. I will definitely recommend Amanda for her excellent service.

Salon took the time to fix my bad haircut & explain everything they had to do in detail. They did a great job working with my hairs natural texture & listened to all of my concerns. I never felt like they were trying to force what they thought would look good (instead of the what I wanted) like some salons. My hair looks great & Ill definitely be returning!

I love the salon! Charlie always takes care of me and does a fantastic job! I came to her a couple years ago to help fix damage that another stylist elsewhere had done to my hair. I have been coming back ever since. She has helped my hair get back to being healthy and is always honest and very helpful! She also does the best color! I tend to change up my color a lot and she is always able to help me do it in a way that keeps my hair healthy. She never lets me do anything damaging to my hair (unless I really wanted to but like why?). I think the price is fair also. Would highly recommend !

They’re always out of everything I need and never seem to restock what’s out. Samples for what you’re supposed to get when you buy the things... they’re always out. I’ve gone in four times in two month for my lotion. They’re still “out” of it. I was supposed to get three samples with my purchase, nope. All out of the samples. In seven different stores in five different states I’ve gone to Ultas and only had the sample issue once. This happens EVERY SINGLE time I go to this Ulta.

Lisa the hair stylist did a wonderful job matching my roots. She is a great stylist and easy to talk to. She was also very informative and gave me tips on how to keep my color longer. I have dark roots with all over blonde hair and with bleach and toner it can get really damaged but my hair was soft and strong. She really knows her stuff!I also do my eyebrows and the brow bar and all the staff there are wonderful. They are funny and dont try to push products. They do teach a lot about stuff if you ask.

I just love this store. Ive been going here for 2 years now. Everyone is so nice and friendly. I have my hair colored and styled by Charlie. She is the best. I have paid twice as much at a higher end salon, but I get the best results from Charlie. I also like that I earn points. I get a lot of free or discounted items by using them. You should give them a try.

Ive shopped at ULTA at other locations and was excited to see they had a location at the Greene. After receiving an email about Bare Minerals sets at 30% off, I decided to stop in to pick one up plus some other items. The store had the sets on display in 3 separate areas of the store with sale sign. Easy to find and see. Unfortunately, once I went to check out my experience went from good to bad really fast. Greeted by someone who obviously had no business at the check out. Seemed put off that I couldnt find my birthday email for my gift, basically rolled her eyes and stated that without the proof she couldnt give it, so I just skipped it (and I showed my card). Once all items were rang up, I noticed the price didnt seem right. When I inquired about the prices the items rang up it occurred to me that the Bare Minerals set did not ring up on sale. When I questioned it, the cashier with attitude stated that if it were on sale, it would have rang up on sale I then proceeded to explain the email and the different displays with signs. Again rolled eyes back, appeared to be really put off and unwilling to look into it. Basically I left unhappy without any merchandise. This was about a month ago or so ago. Never got my set I was excited to get and went elsewhere for the other items...I refuse to return. Dont waste your time or money going here. I will only purchase from places who treat customers with respect. I am stopping all emails or communication with the company. Its apparent to me that there is a common thread after reading other reviews. Very disappointing. 😔

I love this store and its the only place I buy my makeup at but the staff isnt very helpful! I know a decent amount about makeup, but there are some things that I have questions about and there is never anyone around to help. Either the place is understaffed or they just dont want to help you out. Im still going to shop here just because they carry all my favorite brands, I just wish they could be friendlier.

Emily was my stylist and she did an AMAZING JOB!!! She is very knowledgeable and friendly! Suggested all the right products for my hair type and a week later my hair is thriving!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE her!!!Fast forward to 6/24/20They changed their store hours due to covid. Ok no problem. but I didnt appreciate that they were kicking customers out 20 minutes before close.they were walking around telling people that they were closing in 2 minutes when it was only 5:45. They ended up closing the doors at 5:50. if your store hours say 6 p.m. then you should be closing and locking the doors at 6 p.m. closing 10 minutes prior to your original time is just hurting your sales. I overheard customer saying that they were going to a different location because they felt rushed out of that store.

I have good experience here with the shop. But the salon was a joke. They told me i could get i think it was 25 or 15 percent off because it was my first time at the salon. But afterwards going up to the register (after spending 3 hours there) they said there was no manager in the store to give me a discount so i have to pay full price. Really not fair and unprofessional.

If I could give this location 0 stars I would... I decided to give this location another chance after multiple failed attempts in the past..... I walked in the store and no one greeted me... okay maybe no one saw me walk in. I walked over to the prestige line because this location is the only one that sells NARS in their store and I had $125 worth of points to spend so I wanted to spend some of it on a NARS foundation. I stood in front of an employee looking at foundation and she just looked at me and kept cleaning the display I watched her literally greet and speak to everyone around me EXCEPT me. I walked in front of another employee he also failed to ask me if I needed any assistance. I’m usually against shopping at Ulta anyway considering I worked at Sephora for years but Sephora doesn’t always have everything I needed. I walked out of the store annoyed and told my mom I’ve given this location at least 4 or more chances and I left and went to the Ulta at the Greene and Sephora to get what I wanted. I told Ulta at the Greene I was disgusted with the service I have always gotten at this Beavercreek location. They told me to contact a manger or write a review. The Ulta in the Greene greeted me as I walked in and 3 different employees asked me if I needed any assistance with anything. See I know what I come into the store for I never really need assistance but it is still nice to know that the employees offer their help. I even went to Sephora and told them what happened and they said that’s why they do not shop at this particular location or Dayton Mall. I can say this store needs help with their customer service and attitudes and I personally would not even trust anyone touching my face at this store because the employees appearances are also not up to par like the Greene. I will not be giving this location another chance at all.

I frequent this location at least once a month. Today, I purchased several items, one which was marked as being on sale (50% off), which did not ring up on discount. Just 2 days prior, I was at this same location, with my mother, who purchased the same item. The manager of this Ulta had done the appropriate price adjustment for her at that time. Today, she stated while she had indeed made the price adjustment for my Mother, she was unwilling to do the same for me (why she did for her and not me? no idea!). She was VERY rude, and considering I was purchasing several other items, the customer service in this situation was deplorable. I will NEVER shop at this Ulta location again!

I was a little disappointed and surprised if Im being honest. I went in to check out their morphe and colourpop sections and the both were pretty much amply and the displays were a mess. The colourpop section was marked down, Im assuming because of the holiday and the display was disgusting. The palettes that were being used as testers were destroyed so I opened one of the palettes that were in the package and it was also swatches and destroyed. So I out that one back and tries another and every single palette was swatched and gross or destroyed. I went in with a list of items that I had planned on purchasing and ended up leaving empty handed and disappointed. The staff was also not very customer friendly. I was in there almost an hour and not one person acknowledged that I was there or offered to help me find something. I tried to ask an employee and she blew me off and I ended up getting more help from another customer who was also shopping. Not impressed. Sephora may not have as many brands in store but atleast their customer service is on point.

Now that I have my money back, I can share what the salon at Ulta Beauty did to my hair. I went in for a color and trim with Sarah on Saturday and arrived home alarmed to find several large chunks of my hair had somehow been chopped off. If you know me, you know I have always had long hair, and cut it short back in the summer of 2015. I have been growing it back out for over two years and Ill now have to start over. It may seem superficial and like its just hair, but its one part of myself that I actually love and find beautiful. This was my first hair appointment since my baby was born over 18 months ago, and I ended up with this. I was first offered a small partial refund, but ended up getting a full one today after speaking to several different employees. The money wont make my hair grow back any faster, and unfortunately the mistakes are so drastic its unable to be fixed, so it is what is. It will grow back, I just want to share this so others can be aware of what happened so they dont have to get their hair messed up too. It took a long time to get my hair back to the length I wanted.

I may or may not be addicted to this place. Some products are a little steep in price but for the most part they have the biggest selection around town and are cheaper than Sephora. The staff is very friendly. Happy to rely on this store for all my makeup needs. Only complaint is that they dont stock their products as much as they should, but that might be out of their control if the shipments are far apart.

Will not be returning to this store. I moved here over a year ago from out west where Ive been to several Ultas and this is by far the worst store. They have terrible customer service. They will not even acknowledge when I enter the store. The shelves are messy and things are mislabeled. Asking someone for help is almost impossible. Also the way they take appointments at the brow bar is very disorganized and the women wrote down the wrong date causing me to lose my appointment. It was probably for the best considering how rude and unhelpful the technician was. Needless to say, Ill be doing my shopping online and getting waxed elsewhere.

Its hard to find someone to ask for help and the lighting sucks (witch is bad because they match you foundation) (i have yet to find a good mid to full coverage match apparently Im to pale for the lightest shade of everything they tried on me) but they have some higher quality makeup like derma blend and some modern tier stuff like morfee and urban decay that dont kill my sensitive skin

No one asked me if I needed help while I was shopping. I ended up asking a girl who was stocking to help me find a specific clay mask but she looked like a deer in headlights and said she had no idea if they had it and glanced at the isle with me and said she just wasnt sure and apologized and walked away. I ended up getting a different face mask and when I went to check out, the cashier asked if I found everything ok. When I told her about the situation, she honestly had the same response. She didnt offer to look it up in their system, ask another co-worker, or give any suggestions. Just rung me up and told me to have a nice day. Really disappointed with the customer service

I always love ULTA. I dont get approached much at this location or checked on, but the store is very well organized, always clean, easy to shop and a wide variety to shop. I asked once for some help in the make up- specifically tarte make up- and I could tell the associate was doing a floorset but everyone else was with a customer and she seemed a little upset I interrupted her to ask if they had a specific item in stock. She kind of rushed looking and then said she guesses I will just have to find and order it online. A few minutes later another associate was around and I found her and she was more than happy to help. I regret not grabbing her name before I left, she was so helpful!!! So the store itself isnt bad if you need one on one attention, as long as you go up and ask for it. Other than that its amazing ☺

I went in to get a new foundation, no idea what kind or color. Nobody greeted me or asked me if I needed help. After about 15 minutes of looking I left empty handed and went to sephora instead since nobody tried to help. Staff is snobby and not friendly at all.

Not happy at all.. i got hired at ulta and along with that comes the perks of discounts. one of them being 50% off salon services and i already wanted to dye my hair so i took advantage of this. my hair before was platinum blonde and i showed Charlie a picture of myself a year ago with a warm brown color. Not only did she completely disregard what i wanted by dying my hair BLACK but she totally missed the back of my head...... its still blonde. it looks terrible and it’s embarrassing. im also hoping it didnt have anything to do with the fact that she had drama with my older sister which she mentioned during my appointment. Dying my own hair with a box from walmart and i know it will look better than what she did. If i hadnt worked there and was an actual customer paying full price, i would be livid walking out looking like this. safe to say i quit working there.
