You’re never bored when you come over here the guys always keep you up-to-date on your vehicle they keep you entertained so you don’t be there twiddling your fingers and crunching your mind with numbers the prices are amazing to and also they have a coffee machine for the coffee drinkers and the restroom is very clean and kept up with.. Awesome and knowledgeable staff! Brought my husbands vehicle in for an oil change on 9/9/21 and while I was there they found a few other repairs that were needed on the vehicle. They took their time to explain and show me what and why it was needed. The young lady and her manager went over the estimate with me and helped me figure out what was the best route to go for repairs. I will definitely be returning soon for the suggested repairs and to continue to use them for all my mechanic needs. Keep up the great work Baytown Pep Boys!

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. I had a low tire I wanted to check on- weather had turned cooler and sometimes air pressure lights come on. After the mechanic had my truck for a quick review, I was presented with an estimate to fix issues they had discovered. Nothing serious- bad ball joints, bad tie rods. Oh yeah, my tire had a leak on the sidewall- couldnt be fixed. Over $1000 above my rotation and oil change.I refused the repairs. After the oil change and rotation was done, I left. I looked at my dash, low tire- they did not even put air in the low tire. Also, they did not reset for my oil change.Its been 2 weeks since I aired up my tire without a drop in pressure. This is the worst experience at a shop I have ever had. I wonder how many people go there for help only to be taken to the cleaners. Stay away from this place unless you like getting taken advantage of....

I was running late to get somewhere when I realized I needed a new tire. I obviously didn’t have an appointment, with PepBoys, for this service. I took my chances on getting immediate help by doing awalk-in. I was so grateful, and was extremely pleased, with the great staff along with the excellent service this company provided. They were friendly, informative, knowledgeable, and willing to go up and beyond to help with my dilemma. I was back on the road in no time!!! Excellent!! Thank You!!

On our trip back from Texas to Alabama we had a flat tire on the highway. After getting the spare on and making it to Pep Boys with 10 minutes till close, we were beyond grateful for Troy and his team. His willingness to help us even after close just to make sure we arrived to our destination safe. Not only did they fix the issue, they checked all tires and the trailer tires to make sure we were safe. Thank you for all your help and taking care of us.

Best customer service I’ve ever received!!! The price was amazing for what all I had done! I had my 2 year old son with me there for 3 hours and Tommy put the tv on Nickelodeon for him to watch and was so nice to us!! I highly recommend them and will not go anywhere else!

I went in and was treated with respect and given a really great deal. The staff was super friendly and quick. I dealt with Mark who was very knowledgeable on products and promotions. I wanted a certain deal and to get me the certain deal it needed management approval and instead of telling me to come back when he was in, the manager made a special trip from home just to ensure I was taken care of that day. My tires were bad and they refused to let me leave on them. They care about their customers and the quality of their work. I highly recommend this pep boys just based on the treatment they give their customers which is above and beyond what any place else would offer.

Ordered tires online and had them shipped here because this was the preferred vender. I set a 1100 appointment and arrived at 1030. The had not expected me to show up and the manager and assistant manager sat in their office in a “meeting” while one guy worked outside. They attempted to charge me 15/tire more than I was quoted. Then finally at 1230 they brought my truck in ad it’s 1315 and my TWO tires are still not installed. I have a good friend that is a manager at discount and I have actually seen him out installing tires when he could be mashing nuts like this manager.

I came in to get battery terminal replacement at 9:30 an d thet began working on my cat around 10:45 -11:00am. Around 11:40, the older gentleman told me it was ready and they would tell me what other recommendations they have. I get to the counter and they tell me my charges was $1145.00! I said for what, you told me the work would be around 70 dollars. He then proceeds to tell me my front and rear breaks need replacing. I told him that would not happen today and was ready to pay my bill and leave. He told me to wait and after another 35 minutes or so passed, I said what is the hold up and then he finally admits they did not have the right parts for my vehicle and had to order it. I was livid! By this time I had been here for three hours! They have no Integrity or professionalism.I am a combat veteran and I urge military Veterans to not patronize this business!!

I drive over an hour to have Kadesh and Tommy work on my truck. Despite all of the covid issues and employee shortages, they get the work done. Its obvious based on other reviews that people dont understand that times have changed thanks to covid. Keeping a business running in these times is not easy and just a fraction of compassion and understanding would go a long way. You have parts delays and shortages. You have skeleton crews. You have to wait to get fleet approvals 5 times as long as before because people are working from home. You have to sanitize everything and test everyone if someone gets a cough. I know because my company is experiencing it too but Tommy and Kedesh are the utmost professionals and make it seem like none of this is going on behind the scenes. Thank you guys!

Please avoid going to this Pep Boys location. I asked for a diagnostic for my car and they came up with a quote of almost $4,000.00 I took my car to the dealership and they fixed my car for only $399.00. I already reported this to corporate and BBB as well to open an investigation.

PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!!!I drive for a Ride-Share Service, and I use a company rental car to conduct my transportation. I was in the Bay Town area Saturday afternoon and called this particular store to inquire if they are approved to perform maintenance on my companys vehicle. I also asked if an appointment is necessary or can I simply walk-in. I was told that an appointment was required. So I arranged to bring the car Monday morning 10 am, which was the soonest availability on their books. In the meantime, I coincidentally drove by the location shortly after the phone call. There were no visible cars in the garage. I then drove by two additional times within the next 30 minutes with my riders; again no customers there. So, I wondered why I had to wait until two days later for a visit.Fast forward to today... I arrived 10 minutes early for my 10 am appointment. There was only one truck in the bay area, and zero customers in the waiting area. I am well aware of the process of Pep Boys having to contact the rental company for approval prior to service, however that should only take 10 minutes max. In the meantime, other customers began arriving as I sat in the lobby. I began voicing my strong concerns of how not only one, but two customers came after me, yet were serviced and gone before me. Of course, managements excuses began to fly in their attempt to justify my over an Hour & a Half wait before my car was actually taken into the garage. During this same time frame, another customer arrived on time for her 10:30 am appointment, and was immediately told that the mechanic could not get started with hers for at least another Hour & a Half as well!!! In other words, whats the significance of pre-scheduling services days in advance, yet still receive delayed action (WTH).I wasted my ENTIRE morning sitting here not being able to Ride-Share. Several other customers entered and refused to stay once they witnessed the improperly-managed / unorganized atmosphere. If I were there with my personal car, I would have left as well, but I had to have the companys car taken care of.In summary, I arrived on-site at 9:50 am for a simple oil change and wiper blades replacement, was the only customer in waiting, yet did not exit until 12:17 pm. Ive had shorter wait-times watching a trail of red ants carry a piece of bread crumb across the road, and actually better enjoyed watching that process.I repeat, for your own good, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS TYPE OF ESTABLISHMENT.

This location is very unorganized and workers take a long time to service customers. They need better management and better mechanics to do work on time. This Pep Boys has a lot of failures and looks like management is not doing there rounds . They also need to do better on house keeping on this site.

We had an “appointment” for 12:30 for my husbands alignment and tires to be balanced. Well 2:30 rolls around and they were barely pulling it in to get the work done. Takes them a little under a hour to do it. Then we leave and get to the store and realize they didn’t fasten the bolts correctly which would explain why his alignment was still off! Then they didn’t even balance his tires either. So after all that time we still had to bring it back. It’s just ridiculous!

If you make it before their closing time then they will take your car. Excellent, customer service. Quick and professional. Walmart refused to take my car an hour and half before their closing time but Pep Boys took it almost at their closing time. They even took another customer after me and stayed after hours to complete his tire job. The staff was very professional and prices are great.

TLDL: Service took three times as long as it should have, cost twice as much as I expected, and they tried to use scare tactics to get me to fork out more money for additional work by exaggerating the condition of my vehicle.I went in for a brake service and had an appointment for noon. I had a coupon for $99 brake service only to find out that was $99 PER AXLE which was not clear on the website.I was told it would take about an hour. After sitting there for an hour and a half I noticed that my truck was still in the parking lot, untouched. When I asked about it I was told they were going to start it now, but when they started looking for my keys they couldn’t find them. The person who had checked me in didn’t believe me when I told them I had given them to him an hour and a half ago. After scrambling around for almost 10 minutes and repeatedly asking me if I was sure I had given them to him, he found them in his pocket.After another hour and a half my truck was finally done. They had me come in to the bay for the obligatory here’s what else I found wrong with your car tour and told me “your front wheels are about to fall off.” I already knew I needed new ball joints but this statement was greatly exaggerated and clearly meant to scare me into having them do more work on my truck, which was not about to happen.I won’t be going back. They sent me a survey and when I gave a negative rating said that a manager would follow up but that never happened.

Upon arrival staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The manager Adam took his time to contact me by phone while I was eating across the street to let me know the state of my rotors after inspection, find me the best deal, was courteous, and honest about not charging for unnecessary work as I was aware of the state of breaks before I came in. The other employees that performed the break job did high quality work and even took the time to backup to my trailer I had unhooked from my truck to expedite getting me back on the road as quickly as possible. I will be coming back again most definitely and would recommend this location to any family and friends.

The best place around to buy tires. The team there is great and always happy to help. Saved me a few hundred dollars and the tires are great for towing my heavy camper. The manager there knows his stuff and is very trustworthy. Which is hard to find these days.

I arrived at 9:39 a.m. today and asked if they had time for a oil change. They say yes, Ill be next cause there is only one ahead of me (almost done). At 10:20 they come tell me that they are out of my oil and have to go get some from their supplier. I finally left at 11:30. Almost 2 hours for one oil change and (only one car they were almost done with ahead of me). These guys are slow. They walk around talking and smoking cigarettes instead of focusing on customers. Very poor service. The manager at time was Richard.

Ive gotten tires here and also used the warranty for a replacement tire. They give honest quotes, the warranty is optional but well worth it. In both of my two visits, my car was serviced and back on the road in a very reasonable timeframe.

So i will have had to take my vehicle by for not once, not twice, but three times now and the original problem hasnt been fixed. it has got worse. Not to mention i am not out $900 with no fix in sight. Please look up Just Brakes on google and read the reviews before coming here. They may have a new name but its the same employees and management.

I am extremely happy with this Pep Boys location. We are not from this area, here working, and needed two new tires. We went in today to get the tires. The store manager, Marshall, didnt have what we needed at his location, but was happy to drive over to another location to get what we needed. Thanks to Marshal and his team at the Baytown Pep Boys ,we have found a local place for all our car care needs.We have been putting off needed a.c. repairs, but because of Marshall s courteous and efficient service we are going back to let them do those repairs as well.

The staff was great when i went there about a year ago. I purchased the premium package with a lifetime warranty and left there with some new brakes. I call them 10 months after they put them on to see if i can bring them in to get fixed. They reply with, “If it’s metal to metal, that voids your warranty.” So there you have it, another problem with these guys. Not once did they mention this when i was at the store ten months ago. Just another way to get out of their scamming warranty.

Came in Friday for a rattle on my 01 Tacoma. Had missed diagnosed the repair, the rattle was still there. Marshall assured me they would fix it at no cost to me. Shane diagnosed it and work on his day off to insure it was repaired correctly. My cost 0. People make mistakes, and it is how you handle them. Marshall, Michael, and Shane handled it correctly. If you ever need car repair, do yourself a favor, take it to Pep Boys in Baytown and you dont have to worry about getting screwed. Honest and professional.

Avoid at all costs!!!! I bought four tires from them last winter. I made that decision because the manager informed me of a rebate that I would receive from Cooper Tires. After the installation, he gave me a reference number and directed me to a website to obtain my rebate. The company had no such rebate program; and even when I called the company directly, they said they were concerned that the operator of the Baytown Pep Boys was pulling some kind of bate and switch scam.Fast-forward eight months, and Im losing air in one of my tires. I pull in to Pep Boys in Baytown (I know ... I didnt learn my lesson the first time.) and asked that they check out my tires. One of the mechanics approached me and simply demanded, Keys. I watch him drive my car into the bay and begin to work. Im able to watch the whole operation through a window in a small work area by the service desk. As I watch two individuals pull my tires off, I see one of the mechanics look up at me and mouth &*$&*@! Im mostly deaf, so I can read lips. He then proceeds to where Im standing inside the building and yells at me for being in the bosss office. I assured him that I meant no harm, but just wanted to watch them work on my car. He repeated his command and walked away. A few minutes later, the desk person walked in and told me that they found a nail in one of my tires. I asked them to repair it, since my tires enjoyed road hazard overage. Less than 10 minutes later, the desk guy returned and handed me the keys. There you go, he said. I took the keys, wondering how they repaired a tire so quickly, and left. Needless to say, Im still losing air and the tire hasnt been fixed.If you choose to frequent this business, do so at your own risk!

I just wanted to share that I have been a loyal customer since this franchise opened. I absolutely stay a loyal customer. The management and technicians are straight up. I know my way around veichele repairs. I consult my Haynes repair manual and decide if I want to tackle the project or not. If not i call pep boys in Baytown, TX. Next thing they ask is when can we get you in? I love it, no waiting just bring it over and put you right in. I have spent over $3000 in the last year but not have received any coupons or rebates from corporate. When I was in the North East of the country I would receive a $50 / $100 coupon after a repair. These people are a scam. I went in there for my cv joint repair. My carhas Warranty on it I had my driver side done back in August know my passenger side was going out 2 months after I did my driver side. So I took it back and they look at it and they said my motor mounts are bad and they said my warranty was not going to cover it and they was trying to charge me 1,100 for it so i took it out and took it to firestone They look at it and they told me that my motor mounts are good. WHO EVER OWNS THIS STORE NEEDS TO DO BETTER BUSINESS.

Horrible customer service from the owner. I brought my flat tire in to be plugged or patched and he looked at the date of the tire and told me it was from 2005 and too old and legally he couldnt do anything to my tire. I tried to explain to him he was not looking in the right place for the date and my tire was from 2015. He told me they were too busy but if I wanted to wait for everyone else they would look at it. I took it next door to NTB and they confirmed it was from 2015 and all it needed was a new stem. The owner would not give me the time of day to even figure out the problem.

Loyally took my 2011 Ram 3500 to this establishment to be worked on.....something always goes wrong and was very happy to,what I thought,have things fixed because I have limited knowledge of how to fix my truck.Had the hubs on my front end worked on and not too long after they went out again with my ABS sensor warning light coming on.Took my truck to a Specialist which was recommended to me by another owner of another vehicle.Learnt that my ABS plug was Superglued together by whoever worked on my truck before.I trusted and faithfully was going to one establishment a lot of times which was Pep Boys to have everything done on my truck.....paid a lot of money to have my truck worked on in good faith and now.....after this discovery.....will never have them work on my or recommend anyone to go there.

Does not double check thier work. 2 months ago went in to have the exaust canister replaced. Even after having the check engine light reset the light came back on. Not once did they double check thier work. After going to anouther mechanic did I find out that the sensor on the canister was not plugged in by the mechanic that did the work on my canister. If I could give a negative star review I would. The only way I am allowing this place to do work on my car again is to replace the parts that I have a warenty on already through them.

We had our oil changed here. A few days later my wife was driving down the highway and smelled oil burning. She took the car back to pep boys and Marshall told a valve gasket was leaking. She took it home and come to find out the filter has a very small crack on it that leaks under pressure. So we changed the filter and added 3 qts of oil. There are signs of a filter wrench being used on the filter. Marshall has completely dismissed everything my wife has told him. He claims there is no crack and it must have been double gssketed. He refuse to watch the video of the filter leaking. Its a shame women get treated like this.

By far worst place to go if I wasnt forced to go here I wouldnt have. I had a leaking brake line. Couldve fixed it myself for 20 bucks. Guy says he wants to do this that and other charges me 300 now if I knew how to change the line I wouldve. They didnt bleed the brakes properly so now I need a master cylinder and brake booster replacement and on top of that after they did the job my brakes were worse than before. By far the most unprofessional place in baytown. Pep Boys if youre reading this just know your guy Shane who used to own it before is making you guys look like a thief.

Bought a set of tires here in July. Went back recently for a rotation, and was told their new policy was to leave tires with most thread in back and they cant rotate them to front???? I left before I lost my cool and went down the road to get a rotation, where I was told my freaking tires had been put on backwards in the first place!!! These guys are terrible and I will advise anyone to take your business elsewhere!!!!

Very dissapointed . If i could not leave a star i would.I looked online for what i thought was a good deal for 4 brand new tires , call the pepboys near me and spoke to Adam gave him sku# and he gave me a total price of 710.00 for total of everything. Sent my husband the following morning cuz i had to work gave him the name of person and info, well lets just say they let my husband have it. I shouldve gone with him they put him down for road hazard warranty for 129.00 and they were also telling him his shocks needed to be replaced that would cost him another 500.00 when the truck is only 3yrs old. Thankfully he said no to that but he got the warranty even though they didnt explain that it would only be covered for replacement if the tire has less than 20% threading. Anyways total out of pocket 1,090.00. I called the next day to cancel road hazard warranty and marshall said he would give me a call back the next morning bcuz he had to speak to some sales rep. And hasnt called me back yet. If i dont here from them i will contact the pepboys 1800 number to talk to someone abt this. I should be able to cancel at any time ! Please be aware that the employees here dont have to tell you about the full charges unless you ask them.ASK THEM!!!!!!Dont let them take advantage of you!

My brake and battery light came on June 30th 2018 while out of town, brought my car into the Pep Boys in Baytown Texas on July 1st 2018 they replace my alternator and it cost me $577.68. I drove my car back to Red Oak Texas and I was driving home from work on July 5th 2018 and the same lights came on again so I took my car to Pep Boys on Camp Wisdom in Dallas Texas and they stated that the alternator that was put on was not getting a charge and it was a bad alternator. So they told me that they could replace the alternator but I would have to bring the car back in tomorrow. So now Im sitting in Pep Boys with no transportation and will have call for a uber and will have to miss work due to this faulty alternator. So I was simply asking is there some type of compensation or is there any type of credit or rental or anything that they could do for me being that Im now going to have to miss work, due to their faulty part. The area director that spoke to over the phone in Dallas stated that I needed to call the place in Baytown where I originally got it serviced and speak with them and maybe that they could do something more for me since that is where the service was originally done. I call the Baytown store that night and the gentleman stated that Marshall the service manager would call me back the next day and I havent received a call yet, my husband who actually works in Baytown went back into the store and he stated as soon as he mentioned my wife bringing my car in on that Sunday the service manager Marshall immediately started stating that we dont compensate for lost wages and we dont do any type of rental cars, and basically would not even listen to my husband with other customers in the store. So my husband stated that youre going to lose a customer because youre being so insensitive to the situation. He stated the service manager Marshall stated that there is other competitors basically and we can take our car there. I will never ever bring my car to a Pep Boys again. I find this to be very poor and shady customer service that could have been handled much differently.

Horrible! My car was put in the shop Saturday. 2 hours later, I received a phone call from them with a list of things that needed to be fixed with charges. Immediately everything was paid over the phone within that same conversation. I was told my car would be ready Monday. Pepboy called Sunday and pushed back the date till Tuesday. When Tuesday came, they told me that 1 out of 2 parts was ordered and they wouldnt be able to get it till Wednesday and that I would need to be present to exchange a part that was warrantied. Wednesday morning they called me and said they were ready for me to get the part and completely fix my part. I drove to Baytown( I live an hour away) to do what was needed to get my car back. As soon as I picked up the part that Pepboy ordered, they told me it was the wrong part! They pleaded for another day to get the correct part. Thursday, they called to tell me that I was having issuses with 2 more parts and wanted me to come out some more money They got their money paid in full ($1,400) 2 hours after they car was dropped off. Everything, should have been discussed during that conversation. The store manager Marshall does not take responsibility for himself, nor his employees and obviously has no knowledge of what goes on in his store. Arguing with me, when his employees are the screw ups. Mike has been the main communicator with me but never discussed everything throughly. My mechanic Shane, should have realized what exact parts were needed from the get go. I will NEVER do business with them again!

I dont think they understand 14 nm not 14 foot ponds. Thanks for over torquing the oil drian plug on there now I gotta go get some bolt extractors to take it off. Oil changes now a days are hard I guess. Also my car now leaks oil way to over torque the plastic cap for the oil filter cartridge.
