This place is absolutely amazing. Basically my mother was looking for a car and Henkel Auto Group was just the right place to buy from. Logan (Sales Rep) Eric I believe (finance guy) were incredibly professional and friendly. All the way through finding the car that she wanted to the end of our paperwork. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Any question we had was answered in a friendly and professional way. The same goes for lets say Eric since I cant quite remember. Professional and smart, very friendly. Ill say I have had other family members buy here, so I decided this was a great place to buy from. Im glad they were able to find a vehicle for my mother that she really liked. If anyone needs a car new or used, come on down to Henkel Auto Group! You wont regret it!

Bought a $33,000 truck with 10,000 miles on it. It didn’t have a jack or tool kit to replace a tire. Guess when I found out that didn’t have one? When I had a flat tire on the side of I-94. Real nice. Called and left my salesman a message. Didn’t hear back. Maybe this will get their attention. Funny how a cheap little part will ruin a trip.

Dealing with Garrett from Henkel Auto group was by far the best experience my wife and I when looking for a new vehicle. He was very informative, responsive, non-pressuring,and patient with us during our search for the right vehicle. Garrett was very knowledgeable about the vehicles we were choosing from and answered all our questions. ( the past 4 dealership we dealt with before could not even tell us what basic features were on the vehicle on their lots.) Garrett went through all paperwork thoroughly with us and clearly explained the process. I was very reluctant at first after reading a few of reviews that were not favorable. I am glad I overlooked them and dealt with this dealership anyway. I will be going through Henkel Auto Group for all my future vehicle needs.

Bought a 2018 Kia Sorento 12/8/2020 from the used car lot just down street from the new car lot Henkel has. Logan was our sale associate and he did good job with servicing the sale. Was afterwards when things went down hill as they put new tires on but they were Travelstars which arent safe in winter plus very cheap tire. Then muffler place they use that is a mile away didnt take splash pan off to change oil to had to replace that. And called them that extended warranty I bought isnt very well received at other than Dodge/Chrysler dealerships. Price was right but after the sale is where Henkel Auto group really dropped the ball

We just bought a brand new SUV from this dealership. About 2 weeks later the check engine light came on- we had it checked and it was an emissions issue. We took it in, since it was still within their 3000 mile warranty, and the light turned off so they said it was fixed. 2 days later it came on again and has been on since. We’ve called at least 15 times, texted the guy that we dealt with, left messages- nothing. They clearly don’t honor heir warranties and their cars are defective. They’re just refusing to answer any of our calls so that the warranty will run out and they won’t have to honor it or fix the car. DO NOT buy a car here. Save yourself a huge headache- go to someone that actually stands by their vehicles.

Decent experience when I was in the office but about 2 weeks after I drove a used jeep home(2+ hours away) the guy who sold it to me was harassing me for papers to prove my previously totaled car was paid off. I got an email from the previous bank saying the account was closed but that wasn’t good enough as ‘they needed the email to include the vehicle info’. So, I went back to get the additional info and it took a few days...so I started to get threats from my ‘salesman’ that I would need to bring my jeep back if I didn’t get the information in soon. Terrible service after sale experience, especially when they told me I was all good before driving away.

Update: I apparently jumped the gun and wrote my review to quickly. I purchased a used vehicle for $14000 in January with what seemed to be no issues. A couple weeks later the vehicle quickly turned into a sour lemon! Had to put another $5000 into it and it got to where I decided it was nothing more than a money pit and would not be wise to continue to dump money into this vehicle. There were things they claimed they had done and said at the time of purchase that they would provide me with all service records. Months later and many calls not only to the salesman but also the sales manager, Todd, I still didnt have them! Was told they would email them. Nothing! I WOULD NEVER AGAIN BUY FROM THEM! THEY SOLD ME LEMON. I feel completely certain that they knew the issues it had and put a quick fix on it to sell it. They are uncooperative and once you leave the lot they do not care about service or anything else! Needless to say, 6 months after purchase I traded it in. I was sad to see it go as I loved the vehicle but I could no longer afford to keep fixing big things! In 6 months I had to have the rack and pinion replaced, the water pump and hood prop. When I traded it in the driver seat motor went out and only one side of the seat would move, the a/c only worked in the back (up front if outside temp was less than 78°) and the brake light on the dash was on even though it had brand new brakes and rotors, was having issues starting even though it had a brand new battery and starter, and the transmission had been bucking since a month after purchase. Sorry for the long review. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!Please discard the following previous review:Easy going, nice people, and reasonable price.

So glad I took the 40 minute trip to this dealership! I had zero luck at 2 other Jeep dealers as far as inventory and sales team but this place got me into the Jeep I was looking for!Ask for Gale when you go! Gale was friendly and accommodating and above all else made it easy for me to do business with this location! He didn’t try to get me into a higher priced vehicle either! This is always a plus in my book!He helped me get into exactly what I wanted which ended up being a used Jeep, and he didn’t treat me as a lesser customer because of it. My son and I drove through the parking lot of Erich Henkel looking at the Didge Durang. When I first pulled up there was 2 men standing outside laughing as if they were having fun. The 3rd man looked at us, shook his head and signaled the other men to go inside. They assumed because I was in an old Dodge Carvan and my skiin color was black, that I couldn’t afford anything. No one ever came out to assist me. They also did the same thing to my sister. What they didn’t know was she had $25,000 in her posession to purchase a new vehicle!!!!

Service Dept is terrible. Bought a local trade in just to find out 2 years later it was from Canada and Chrysler WILL NOT replace hood that the paint is peeling off of with only 35k miles on vehicle and is still in warranty because of that. First 2 months we owned it was in the shop more than at home. Fuel pump was on national back order but when i went to dealership and showed them that i can buy oem off ebay, they shrugged there shoulders. Told my wife when i was not there to turn gas nozzle upside down to fill at gas station....seems safe right? Rear brakes were shaking and they took vehicle 3 time to try and fix it.....they refused to change pads and rotors, they would only grind on vehicle with existing pads back on, not new....i eventually changed them myself and problem fixed. Descided to give them one more shot because they are local with a new ram.....all there trucks are from auction because of buy backs. They knock a grand or two off of what you can get elsewhere, scratched up, bald tires with vehicle only having 15k on it but wont put new tires on, wouldnt even detail the truck. Trying to charge me over 800 bucks in destination fee and filing fee...blah blah. Why am i paying you to put a truck on your lot? I found on your website.....Go to Ziegler is all i can say. Great people, zero issues and they fix everything Henkel wont do with a smile on there face.

I can only speak of Henkels used car sales. I purchased a 4 year old Grand Cherokee with 35k miles which was outfitted with new tires and promoted as such. I assumed that for this type of vehicle that at least middle of the road tires would have been chosen especially given the price point of the vehicle. With the onset of winter this assumption was shown to be not only incorrect but dangerous. The Jeep had Ironman iMove Gen 2 tires installed which perform as essentially summer only tires. After nearly 2 accidents I decided to research the tire and discovered the difficulty I had driving my Jeep with these tires was a common problem. Any snow or slush might as well be an ice rink. Its not that they chose the cheapest tire available but rather they installed tires that endangered the occupants. I replaced the tires and now have a driving experience equivalent to that of my last 30 years. I contacted Henkel with this concern and all I received was silence. If you purchase a used vehicle from Henkel, assume they took the cheapest route possible servicing the vehicle regardless of the price of the vehicle. I can only guess at what sort of shortcuts they take for systems like brakes and steering.

The worst customer experience I have ever had car shopping. Husband and I came down check in hand ready to buy a truck. We had sent four pictures of trucks that we wanted to look at a couple days ago. Drove an hour and a half to find out he only had one of the four vehicles out for us to look at. When we asked about the others Bill told us to drive around and go find them. Seriously? The price tags in the vehicles were different online so we couldn’t tell which ones were which. When we asked about Kelly blue book prices compared to theirs he had nothing to say. You’re a salesman, sell me a car! Every question related back to covid. I get that we have to be compliant but you still have to help us out here. We asked if they had sold and he said he had no idea. If you want to sell cars than figure it out. They were to busy standing around drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes. You talked yourself out of a sale Bill.

Stereo typically shady sales. I worked with Bill (salesman) and Melissa (assistant) for about an hour on the phone before driving 3+ hours to buy a 16 Ram 2500 w/39k miles. This was a Buyback vehicle and was supposed to have been gone over by the factory and dealership to resolve any chronic issues (reason for the Buyback) and recalls. During their sales pitch they spoke about how the factory does a multi-point inspection and repairs everything they find, then the dealer does the same. Bill boasted on how motivated and great the mechanics are because they get a bonus if they catch anything the factory missed. This is such a great deal that he even just sold his father-in-law one.Once I arrived the truck was pulled up for me to check out and within a few minutes it was clear that I should have trusted my instinct. The truck had a rear main seal leak that was very obvious and oil drips were fresh. I asked Bill how this was missed because the truck was supposed to be good to go. His response was that the truck is good to go and acted like nothing was wrong. It was at this point that I lost my temper and cussed him out for wasting my time and then left.I recommend staying away from this place and their Buyback vehicles. Buyback is just a modern term for a Lemon.

I can’t give zero stars or I would. I found a 18’ Jeep online at a great price and low miles. As I suspected it was too good to be true. I went there after hours (Sunday)to look for this vehicle. It wasn’t there. I called on Monday to inquire and was told the vehicle was in transit and was likely arriving in the next day or two. Of course, multiple people had already inquired about it as well. So I called later in the week and was told that it was there, but they couldn’t show the vehicle because they were waiting on the title. I was told I could place a refundable deposit of three hundred dollars to have first look at it, Because now 7 or 8 people were interested. I declined to do this over the phone and stated if I chose to do this I would do it in person. Thankfully I decided to look around some more. I purchased elsewhere and then a month later on Saturday I received a text stating the vehicle was there now and I could come see and drive it on Monday! I replied that I was not going to be doing business because they posted vehicles they couldn’t show and gave the run around. I received a text back about how rude I was. .....

The salesman himself, Doug, was great. In fact, if it wasnt for him, I would have never finalized the deal at Henkel after dealing with the most condescending man ever in finance there. Worst experience ever. Ended up buying the car, after we left to finish my finance through the bank and NOT Henkel. Now, less than 3 months later, my car started smoking and bubbling up antifreeze. Called Henkel who refused to help because I have put 4k miles and not 3k. I am a police officer in another city and commute every day for work, hints the miles put on. I informed Henkel that a rag of theirs was found under my hood when the car started smoking. I took a picture then removed the rag, which was sitting next to the antifreeze reservoir. Then was proceeded to be told that since my warranty wont cover it, they also would be more expensive than any where else and I should just go somewhere else to have it fixed. I ended up paying $75 to have it towed, and taken to another mechanic, who stated that the parts on the vehicle were put back in place wrong and appeared as if Henkel painted certain areas with finger nail polish. Paid my $200 and left. Its unfortunate that once their sale is done, they do not care about the customer nor the vehicle they sold you .

Husband discussed trade in plan over the phone prior to driving up (we are 2 hours away). Went in Saturday morning and the agreed upon trade in was not the same, I fought for them to come down on the price, they came down roughly $400, since they didnt want to do much with the trade in. Finally we came to an agreed upon price, when all the paperwork was done, I was told that the bank that I was financing with was charging me $199 in order to open an account, I found it odd, but needed the financing, so I agreed. I just recently refinanced with another institution at a lower rate and requested the bank refund the $199 as I am no longer a member with them and after talking with them I found they dont charge a fee to be a member. The dealership slipped in the fee. Once I confronted the dealership, they said it was a dealer bank processing fee that is applied to every purchase. Why would they need another $199 on top of the $220 documentation fee?On another note, the car was dirty so while the financing gentleman was preparing everything, the salesman was detailing the car, little did I know after all signatures were complete, there were chips all over the car. I was instructed to buy paint from a dealership and repair myself. not too happy. THEN..... a week after purchase, I broke down on the side of the road, found out that there were stored error codes that were never addressed. Luckily, everything was covered under warranty, but this should have been dealt with prior to them selling the vehicle.

Weve been buying vehicles here since the 90s, six in total, and my most recent purchase experience perfectly illustrates why. I found a used Dodge Dakota at an incredibly reasonable price and had the usual seamless purchasing process. When I got it home I discovered that it was leaking fluid. My salesman Gale had me bring it back the following day, put it in the shop and gave me a very nice loaner. Turns out it needed some a fairly substantial repair....and they covered it all even though I had purchased the vehicle as is. This is the exceptional service that Henkel personifies and seems a lost art in todays environment. I will continue to purchase vehicles here and refer everyone that I can. Great job Henkel and huge thanks to Gale.

I have bought a lot of cars and this by far has been the best experience I have EVER had. We live in Missouri and so everything was done over the phone and even had the Van shipped to us. The process was seamless and simple. Garret was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I used to be in the car business so I know how shady salesmen and car dealerships can be. I just went by Henkel to have my tires rotated and oil changed on my 3.6L 2 door 2019 Wrangler JL. Bottom Line up front - I will never go there again and I will advise anyone who will listen to do the same. I asked how much oil they would use and they quickly replied 6 quarts. I told them that was incorrect according to the owners manual (pg520 if you are curious) the JLs only hold 5 quarts. Immediately I was told I was wrong and that they have always used 6. I told them the Wrangler JK used 6 and the new JL only called for 5. By then it was a mute point because as I was trying to explain exactly that in as many words the service rep interrupted me no less than 3 three times, so I knew he wasnt listening. To their credit they did only use 5 quarts as per my request but in their rush to get rid of me never rotated the tires. I left feeling these people were condescending and un-caring for their customers.

ZERO STARS!!!!!! I spoke with the manager all day working out a price on a Jeep I was looking at getting...from 9 AM Monday until 4PM he didn’t think to look to make sure the vehicle I was wasting my time on was even available. So at 4 PM when I we had sent everything over to my credit union and I was getting my children around to leave they tell me it sold SATURDAY!!!!! They tried to say it takes 24 hours to register but it was MONDAY AT 4PM and they didn’t think to make sure it was available when they emailed me and said it was available mid you 2 hours before that they emailed me a price drop so they were in the system!!! To top of off they said they would keep me up to date on a Jeep they would work with me on that was in service and they have still to get back to me!!!

Just drove an hour and a half to look at and bought a nice used Chrysler Town And Country van at a fair price. Dealt with a man named Rich. I really appreciated his sincerity and honesty and would recommend the Henkel Auto group to anyone . I read a few negative comments about Henkel on this site and would say theyre probably baloney. Im sure Henkel doesnt always get it right but in my experience, they would not knowingly misrepresent any vehicle without making it right. After all , they would not have grown to be a significant car dealership without the integrity, honesty, and professionalism that I experienced there. I would shop there again.

Dishonesty. Drug the kids across two states to buy a minivan. When we arrived, we were greeted with nearly $800 in dealer fees to buy a used car. I buy 5 - 8 cars per year for my work, and have NEVER seen this before. The sales person knew we were driving hundreds of miles out our way, and still omitted the part about $500 of those fees. This is how people foster distaste for dealerships.

I was attempting to purchase a 2019 lemon vehicle using technology. Because my salesman was struggling with how to use his cell phone, I was butt dialed on more than one occasion. On the last occasion, I was privy to their salesman backroom banter and overheard them saying and I quote We would rather have the car than the sale, among other things. This was made very obvious by the lack of professionalism and negotiation. Not only will I not be purchasing another vehicle from this dealership, but Jeep has lost a repeat customer.

Funny my review is not on the site anymore. I was treated poorly at the body shop by the secretary and the manager. They gave me a date to bring my car in for work to be done then she was rude and said, we dont have time for you. I would NEVER use this shop. The manager read my first review and said they would be in contact with me. Never heard from them. I would give them a zero but 1 star is the lowest. Terrible customer service.

We drove a long way, over 300 miles, to check out a minivan. After being there for a couple hours, we were ready to make a deal, but they sprung a $500 dealership fee on us. In the initial call we made to check on fees for this vehicle, this fee was never discussed. We did not come to an agreement, but this is an unfair practice.

Bought two vehicles now from Mark. First one was a Trailblazer in 2009 that took us well over 100,000 miles and on numerous road trips. Our first buying experience was great, and our latest was just as stress free and uncomplicated. They gave us a bigger trade-in than we were expecting, were super nice, worked hard to get us the best possible financing, and we drove home in a great new Jeep for a lower price than wed seen on comparable vehicles at other dealerships. We never felt pressured to look outside our budget, and everybody was super friendly. Well continue to buy used cars from them in the future.

Yesterday I went in to test drive a couple vehicles. During this time an employees child was walking around in a diaper with no shoes on. After the test drive I asked for a business card and the employee gave me someone elses card with their information handwritten on the back. The following day I decided to make an offer over the phone. They told me they would call me back 20 minutes later and after waiting 6hrs I called them instead. Not very professional and low quality costumer service.

My mother has been waiting on a van she saw on there website and contacted them about, they told her it was being transported here from California she said she definitely wanted the van and to let her know as soon as it arrived this went on for about 3 weeks they were sending her updates on it and when it should arrive. Yesterday they texted her asked when she could come and she said today. Within 5 minutes They texted her back and said somebody already put a deposit down... this place is a joke she bought a van from them about 6-7 years ago and wanted to stay with the company but obviously things have changed. My mom was recently diagnosed with cancer and it is very hard for her to go out car shopping so that’s why she was not searching for a car in the meantime she believed she was first in line for the van as they were updating her on the status frequently and asking if she was still interested. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere!!

BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Cant even give this shadie place a zero star.... READ what others say and tread lightly!!!! Keep given me other people jeep paperwork thinking it was ours. Then keep asking for pictures of my cashiers check from my credit union. DONT DO IT they can predeposit them funds, I called my bank!!!! Said they would give us one price for our trade in then when we went to purchase the jeep they changed our trade in price to a lower amount and wanted more money. Avoid this place like the plague !!!!!!!!!!!!

If there was a zero star I would choose that. Rude staff, not helpful at all. They were really nice when buying the vehicle but when it came to honoring things we agreed on and the protection package which l purchased, horrible! They didnt tell us they send it somewhere else to get it done so when we tried to drop it off to get it done they informed me that they do not do it there. Then when asked where we needed to take it we were told thats my problem not theres. Very unhappy with how we were treated after purchasing a $33,000 vehicle from them. 😡

My girlfriend reached out to Henkel about a 2018 Jeep Compass that she found on AutoTrader. She confirmed its availablity and spent 3 days going back and forth with the dealership expressing her interest in the vehicle, discussing financing, and her Ford Mustang trade-in. We live in Illinois and Steve from Henkel let her know that he visits Illinois regularly and could set up a time to see the vehicle once the weather got better (traveling to and from the meet up in the Mustang was not doable due to massive snowfall). Steve even provided a dealer write up and talked about final pricing once we met. My girlfriend gets an email today (not even from Steve) saying that they sold the vehicle. In my opinion this is absolutely poor customer service. If we had known the vehicle was going to be sold we would have made arrangements to go to Michigan.

My internet contact was Melissa and she was quick to respond and get me in the door. My salesman in person was Dan. He is a car enthusiast and has the same challenger that I purchased except for the color. He was fast and made the process painless. They were great! I highly recommend them. If only I got another set of back tires thrown in for free since I seem to burning a lot of rubber.

Sales staff are nice but the financing is horrible. 1st car they changed the agreed upon price in the contract with out telling us and just told is to sign. 2nd car they wouldnt budge $500 off asking price and told me we dont need to sell this car to you itll sell itself.

I would like to start by saying we have always been treated like a regular in their service department because we were. We were sold a vehicle and we’re simply miss guided and lied to about the condition and circumstances of the vehicle they sold us. I reached out several times and was never able to speak to the owner, and was advised many times that he doesn’t deal with problems he has service managers to deal with them for him. In today’s business environment customer service is everything and that something that we did not get from this dealership. I was disappointed and will not be back.Sincerely a former customer

We worked with Nick and he was an awesome salesman who went above and beyond to help us purchase our new vehicle. He met all of our demands and we werent easy to deal with by any means but he exceeded our expectations. We had a few hiccups in the first couple of weeks but their dealer warranty covered the minor repairs and we couldnt be happier with our new vehicle.
