I called the Service Dept and spoke to Chad. My car wouldn’t start, even after attempting to jump start. He made suggestions....checking insurance policy for road assistance, calling tow company, etc. My car was towed in to service department in late afternoon. I received message from Chad early the next morning that vehicle had been checked, problem was simply dead battery, it had been changed, and vehicle was ready for pick up. Great service, knowledgeable service dept., and everyone I encountered at the dealership was friendly and cordial. Happy Customer!

I started going to AllStar North in 2020 prior to going to AllStar South since 2013 the service was horrible. Everything was going smoothly until about 2 weeks ago heard a clicking noise within my vehicle immediately scheduled a service appt. They’ve had my vehicle since 5/7 not a single soul communicated any updates. I texted to check, Chad responds “we’re still looking into it”. I received a call from Chad explaining their was no noise and if they can keep the vehicle overnight they’d look into it in the morning which was 5/8 I received no communication at all. I explained to him a new message that was popping up maybe a week after the noise he informed me that with this new discovery or communication they’d look into that but of course I received no updates. It’s not 5/10 my wife called and they’re saying “the oil was changed it’s ready for pickup and they found no noise” my problem with this is, I know the issue wasn’t looked into the service advisor was very dumb founded to whatever issue was going on. I spoke with Chad he gets an attitude because “we’re calling as soon as they open and they won’t just throw parts at a vehicle” whatever that’s supposed to mean he proceeds to explain that the oil is changed the vehicle is ready for pickup and hangs up! MY SERVICE EXPERIENCE WAS HORRIBLE so at this point it clearly depends on who’s hired and who’s working at the time. I have another vehicle with Lexus and all I could say is THEY WOULD NEVER. Poor job Chad!

The atmosphere at the North store compared to the one at Sherwood Forest & Airline is like night and day. The guy in the service department always seems as if hes having a bad day whenever I make contact with him. Although I live in Central Ill navigate the traffic to drive to the store in the southern part of town where the staff seems more friendlier and the service seems to be better.

It’s always “ come another time” , “ that will cost too much against our store “ call this another to schedule an appointment” they never follow through with proper customer service. This is the worst place to buy a vehicle. They dont do nothing but lie. My husband bought a truck paid 54,000.00 . Tore up before he got home. Come to find out it had been under water. They wouldnt fix it. It cost us 7,000 to get it fixed. I would run as hard as I could from this dealership. You cant trust them!!!!!!!!!!!

I dropped my truck off at 7:30 a.m on 8-21-20 i recieved a text message at 3:31p,m chad @ allstarautomotive: it is an internal transmission issue we would have to go into it. i replied ok can you call me. no response. after numerous calls to the place no one ever answers. the people take messages but never returns calls, so on tuesday august 25another message comes thru chad@allstarautomotive: the shaft is broken if we can get it out and it isnt broke all the way threw the shaft replacement would be 469.62 plus tax if the shaft is broke into the case then transmission, automatic- replac 4173.90 plus tax. i didnt respond to that message because after speaking to chad i explained my frustration about not recieving a call back.he seemed to not care. so again from that point i would assume he would call and keep me updated. that never happened so on friday the 28 i went to the service department, he told me that it may be later that day or the next day taht my vehicle would be ready. i left frustrated still not knowing if it was the minor or major issue . finally at 11:34 a,m i get another message chad@allstarautomotive hell gregory mitchell your vehicle is readyi replied thanks im on my way. i rushed up there paid for the minor issue which was still pricy but hey what can i do, i left went home then checked my oil percentage it was still at 19% isent another message for them to call me back, called the phone number and left message to no return call so i looked on my reciept and seen a supervisor number called and left a message he returned my call within 10 minutes i explained what happened he assured me they changed my oil and explained a issue i had that chad stated i would be getting the 99 diagnostic fee back. he cleared that up and i drove back and had them reset my oil percentage. it was so frustrating to be the customer and not recieve proper communication from a service center. i will never again return nor will i allow anyone i know retuen to allstar north.

No one wants to be held accountable for a vehicle they sold you. A bunch of a run around, manager this, manager that. Set an appointment for 7am and still took them 4 hours to even do that. I definitely do not recommend this dealership.

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership in October of 2019, was told I would receive some new front floor mats and an tire inflation kit since the vehicle did not have them or a spare. Weeks went by and I received no call to come get them so I called and spoke with the sales rep and he said he would have to order some. More time passed by and still nothing so I called again and was promised again there would be floor mats. I received an email a few weeks later stating it was time for service to my vehicle, I replied I would not be bringing my vehicle to them due to unfulfilled promises. The sales manager reached out to me after that and told me the salesman that sold me the car would personally be bringing me floor mats to Mandeville where I live but could not promise a tire inflation kit now. Weeks have gone by and I have not seen nor heard from anyone here. I would not recommend buying from here because they do not hold up to their promises.

I had my vehicle in for an oil change last week and I was amazed at how quickly they completed the task. Also, I was very pleased with the way I was treated. The young lady helping me was very courteous and really made me feel appreciated. She went out of her way to see that I understood what they were doing and gave me some pointers on what I needed to do periodically in the future. Ive dealt with many car dealers in my life and this one tops the list. The young ladies name is Alene (SP?)and she is a valuable asset to your company and should be recognized.

Stopped by at 4 PM one afternoon to get another key fob for a vehicle I purchased elsewhere. The job took longer than expected but the man in parts, the girl in service and the mechanic all stayed late so I wouldnt have to come back another day. I would give them 10 stars if I could. All Star Chevy North located by the BR airport is the best dealership when it comes to price, service, and friendliness of staff. Their service manager Darryl is top notch. No BS, just the plain truth. Chad and Aline (sp?) the two service advisors are great in handling all my questions on service requirements but at the same time are not pushy in persuading me to do something that I don’t think is necessary at the moment. Very honest people with great service techs. Noel is the bomb when it comes to diagnostics. I bring all my vehicles there and the others are a Nissan and Honda. That’s how much I trust my product with them.

Starting from setting the appointment to arriving to the dealership and interacting with the service representative to waiting for the inspections results was awesome! They were ready as soon as I stepped through the door and took detailed notes on some of the issues my Chevy Cruze had. They were attentive and were able to describe their recommendations In a timely manner. I took my Chevy Cruze to Supreme Chevrolet in Gonzales and the service or lack there of was terrible.I would prefer to drive 30 minutes to Chevrolet All Star North where I know I will be well taken care of. Thank you to your mechanics, staff and management. My wife and I will not go anywhere else to get our Chevy Cruze serviced.

(November 2018) There have been some issues with a weird possessions of my car. Lights and sounds are confusing everyone. While this causes a lot of stress on my side and theirs. While I know everyone is working their very hardest, I am looking forward to getting my car back soon. And I do apologize for my attitude. While it is no excuse, holidays and lack of vehicle increases worry.So far we’ve diagnosed and rediagnosed and scratched heads, but they are keeping up the hard work to get me mobile again. (Also didn’t want to work in my car anymore once I posted my original negative review, agreed once I recanted) (3 stars)(January 2019) Can’t add a new review, so adding to my previous one.Engine light, reduce engine power light both came on and car started to shake and wouldn’t go over 25-30 mph. Took a couple days to be seen, throttle body needed to be replaced. Done within two days and nearly matched my monthly car note. Staff was very helpful and much more courteous this time. They even seemed to recalibrate/fix my tire pressure issue. Great job All Star Plank. Thank you to Chad and Ethan! (5 stars) made up for the previous issues.I will continue to return to All Star Plank for now. 😁

Let me 1st start with I did not purchase my 2011 Tahoe from All Star. This is the 2nd time that I have went to the service department at All Star North. Both times the staff has exceeded my expectations. Pleasant & polite and looked happy to see me walk through the door. Fast service too! Yes this is what you should expect from a business that is open to serve the public, or that you are engaging to provide a service for you. I have found that this is not true everywhere. I will be back! As for the dealership that sold me my 2011 Tahoe, that gives free oil changes as long as you keep the front tag on the front of your automobile... I will not be returning. As the saying goes....nothing is really free!

Ive had several little things that needed attention in the last couple of months and each time they were courteous, looked at my car, and told me what was needed and the cost up front. The last time I had to leave it overnight so they could get a part. It was done first thing when the part came in and was ready before I expected. Bought my car from them and Ive had them service it.
