Their price match policy is a complete joke. They have not once in 4 years price matched a single book for me. The upstairs registers are closed so the lines are ridiculously long. I waited 45 minutes in line for them to tell me that because nobody was upstairs to get the books I had held for me 2 hours before, I had to go find the books again and wait another 45 minutes. Manager took 20 minutes to come to the register just to deny my Amazon price match so I bought 2 NEW books on Amazon for $200 CHEAPER than the USED books that the bookstore was selling right in front of the manager, which seemed to upset her. Get your books anywhere else besides this place. Its a scam and wastes way too much time.

I bought an LSU hoodie and an LSU long-sleeved t-shirt at the Barnes & Noble at LSU and expected to need to take out a mortgage to pay for them because I thought the prices would have been expensive. However, I was pleasantly surprised that the prices were reasonable for my items, though! I bought an LSU hoodie for about $31 (including taxes) and the long-sleeved t-shirt for about $23 (including taxes). They also have the best selection of LSU gear in town. Good job.

Whit Green, manager? What are you doing all day??? No one EVER answers the phone, calls back or responds to emails! I have tried calling over 10 times as soon as they opened and no one has answered a phone yet. I had this problem last semester with no one EVER responding! I had to get my professor to go up there to see about my textbook because I ordered it a month before classes started and still hadnt received it 3 weeks into class! Now I am being charged for rentals when I shipped them back but I cant even talk to anyone about this because NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE!!! For all the money we are paying to go to LSU why can we NOT get a bookstore/employees/manager that is competent??? This is ridiculous! I live in Atlanta, I cant just show up at this location and now I am out money because this store is straight BS!

Nice and clean. Employees are very helpful. You have to ask questions. We purchased MacBook pro with additional discount. Initially was told that the tag price is with the discount. When we replied that the tag price is same as the Apple store has, then we received $100 as discount.

Staff very friendly. The bottom floor has a cafe and sells school merchandise only. Still a nice selection of books upstairs though.

The coffee is decent, the employees are nice, the atmosphere is great. The only real complaint I have is that the bathrooms (at least the womens bathroom) is ALWAYS filthy. The toilets need cleaned, theres toilet paper everywhere, theyre always out of paper towels, and the trash never gets taken out. Fix that and this place is golden.

Barnes & Noble has replaced the old union bookstore. It has classic library feel about it and stocks a large variety of LSU items. It is very nice, though only Starbucks Coffee is available inside.

A nice bookstore and nice for an on-campus general store. It has most of the basic necessities but not a ton of options for things like grooming supplies but it does have decnet snack and basic medical selection in addition to the mass amounts of clothing and other accessories it sells. The book selection is pretty small for a B&N of its size but its still decent and it has online order pick ups available and friendly service. Checkout is also fairly quick for a B&N. Pretty good overall.

Waited for 30 min after ordering, they forgot my order and never received anything, they suck, to focused on teaching the new people how to make coffee instead of making things people orderd

Hands down the nicest bookstore I have ever been to. I did my undergrad at LSU and always loved going to the bookstore. They have basically anything LSU you could need and more. The place is huge.

Definitely the place to shop for LSU gear on campus. Fun to browse and Starbucks cafe located inside.

Not enough books and it takes forever to get one even after youre preordered. If your having trouble getting a book, my suggestion: order it offline/somewhere else because it will probably save you some trouble.

Anything Id need for school is there. They price match and the Starbucks has free water. Only problem is that some stuff is really overpriced (a one-subject notebook is like $6)
