Entire process was pretty smooth, other than the long delay between purchase and the actual installation, which was uncontrollable due to raw material supplies.Installers were efficient and courteous. Patrick, our sales rep, followed up with us right after installation to make sure everything went well. Danni was very patient with my semi-frequent calls/emails to check on the status of our order.Assuming we can get the replacement pane for the panel that was damaged in transit in a timely manner, color us extremely satisfied.

Our salesman Joe was fantastic. After hearing some other over-the-top sales pitches from other companies, we appreciated his no frills presentation. We didnt feel any pressure from him to go with WM and were very comfortable working with him because of this. The install team were great too. Quality work and they cleaned up nicely.

Windows were replaced on 9/7 and after installation, we noticed we had lost 3+ inches of the windowsill. Furthermore, our custom blinds will not fit any longer due to the replacement of these windows. Throughout the entire process, from start to finish, no one ever informed us that we would be losing inches from the windowsill and brackets to blinds would be obsolete. We thought and assumed it was the exact fit on the same window as being replaced. The estimator when he measured, never revealed this to us as a customer, so the average customer would think same window. So we are now stuck with custom blinds that need to be trashed. Company refused to do anything except a phone call back. Will not recommend this company and ASK the right questions because the will not tell you.

We replaced two Windows and a storm door. The workers were very efficient, on time, and the job was completed quickly. The work looks very professional. I am very happy about the outcome.

Installers arrived on time, were professional, and friendly. Easily some of the hardest working tradesman I have had working at my house. They prepared the site, worked quickly, and cleaned up the workspace so it was spotless when they were done. Window installation looks wonderful. Much better than I imagined. Very pleased with the price and quality. I will definitely contact WeatherMaster when I need to replace more windows and will recommend them to family and friends.

While they did not provide the type of service I needed, the sales person who called me took the time to describe the likely problem I had and gave me a referral to a qualified provider who may be able to help. I appreciate them taking the extra time even though it meant no immediate business for them.

Our in laws used weather master and absolutely loved it. They had no complaints and really enjoy their results. I say this to be fair. I have waited a long time now to write our review as I wanted to wait until the service was 100% complete and I wanted to get my thoughts together. That’s where my first complaint is. Its almost Apr 2021 and we got our windows installed mid Dec 2020. There have been 3 separate times ON TOP of the day of service that service men have had to come out to fix something. Today the brand new windows to replace the brand new windows that were messed up when installed are being installed. The day of initial service there were 3 guys to come install all new windows in our single family home. We really liked the results before closer inspection. The men were nice. however there were MULTIPLE times I had asked them to put their masks on AND the booties and gloves we had asked to bring numerous time before the actual appointment were no where to be found. While installing our slider door they broke our floor-when we pointed it out they acted like they didn’t know. limited characters=W.M. Not my favorite. I’m pregnant and have a 1 yr old- masks not optional.Disappointed. The windows now look very pretty don’t get my wrong, was unfortunate they had to come out so many time to Correct the initial install but they now are very pretty. However if you are like me and value your safely more than a service I would suggest not using weather master at least during the remainder of the pandemic. My husband and I wore a mask the ENTIRE time while these service men where in our home and they were our guests. Not okay that they decide to take off their masks... one even took it off in my sons room.... I was not happy. I would not recommend this company to friends or family for those reasons . The men that came to our home after the initial install were very polite other than those issues I do have to say. It still could have been better. Masks- all we wanted was masks ( well and booties)

I love my windows so much we have opted to not ruin the look by putting up blinds. There were gaps in communication during the wait and COVID did delay the manufacturing process longer than we would have wanted but those are things that were out of our control and the companys. Joe is a great salesman and his honesty and professionalism is top-notch. Kamil and his sons were the installation crew and they were diligent and true professionals from the start. I would recommend this company and its quality windows to anyone.

I had several companies give me quotes prior to meeting Joe from weathermaster. Most were pushy salesmen trying to get me to sign their contract on the spot. They started off with exorbitant prices, made a fake call to their “manager” and brought the price down by thousands. One company dropped their price by 5grand trying to get me to sign off on the spot. They even showed me the invoice of someone who had just paid $7k more for the same amount of windows. Definitely didn’t want to deal with a company like that. I was expecting the same ruse from weathermaster but to my surprise Joe was upfront and straight forward. No tactics, gimmicks or fake managers. He gave me a fair price which was lower than the other quotes I got even after their crazy “managers discounts”. I didn’t have to sign anything on the spot. The “offer” didn’t expire. He asked me to take my time review, shop around and give him a call if I decide to move forward. What a breath of fresh air. He did warn me about the backlog due to Covid. He said it may take 6 to 12weeks or more and there wasn’t much they could do to expedite it as it was a delay from manufacturers. To be fair, all the other companies that gave me quotes had similar wait times caused by the same issue. After I signed off on the contract, I kept in touch with Danny who was patient, helpful and always happy to provide an update the status of my order. On the day of the install, the 2 gentlemen(Albert and Russel) arrived early, were respectful of my property and worked diligently to have all my windows installed in a timely manner. While they cleaned up, I chatted up Russell who was an older gentleman. He’s worked with the company for over 20years and he still had very good things to say about the owner. For what it’s worth, it says something about the company and it’s business practices. The windows came out great. They are good quality windows. However, time will tell how well they hold up(the windows do come with a warranty). Overall, besides the long wait which is a problem across the board, I would highly recommend this company and would use them again.

I replaced 18 1960s wooden windows on my home with vinyl windows from WeatherMaster. I did the project in 3 phases between Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 to control costs. I worked with Joe M. for the sales process. Joe was very professional, responsive, and he took the time to explain everything about their different window offerings, laws/codes, and pricing to me. I am mostly satisfied with their work so far. The only real issue we ran into was on the installation of my master bedroom windows when the installer did not replace the aluminum window trim correctly. However, I emailed pics of the job to the office and they sent someone else out to fix it. I chose WeatherMaster after pricing at a few different companies in the area. The windows have made my home look better, they operate smoothly, and my home stayed warmer in the winter. Looking forward to seeing how they perform in summer 2021. I recommend considering this company if you are in the market for windows in your home.

Installed windows from Weathermaster in 2019. I warned the installers that the glass panes were loose in the existing windows, they didnt take care and one of the windows fell out and damaged the floor. Not a big deal as it was almost time to redo the floor, so I let it slide. The new window fogged up almost immediately and it took months to have the pane replaced. That was a warranty issue, which wasnt a problem to solve.Then two years later, one of the windows developed a leak. I called the company, they sent a guy to look. To make a long story short he missed a crack in the caulk and charged me for the visit, which they later refunded. I subsequently called another contractor to inspect the area that discovered the crack. The second contractor also pointed out that the cap/sill was installed incorrectly. With the cap/sill installed by Weathermaster leaning to the window not away from it. In other words, it allows for water to accumulate against the window. When I emailed Weathermaster about it, they told me that I should have quality controlled the installation within one year and they would have fixed the issue. But now since it is more than one year this is my problem and that I should check the caulk work annually for failures.I find it odd that when I pay for professional installation that the onus is on me to climb up a ladder to quality control the work that is done. Im not a contractor doing window installations for a living and I should be able to trust that the work is done professionally, and if it isnt, the company should offer to come out and fix it. But alas that is not the case.If you are thinking about getting your windows done, my recommendations would be to find another company or at least not use their installation crews.

I had three companies come out for an estimate on seven replacement windows. Joe with Weathermaster was the only one who didnt play games with pricing. Respecting me as a consumer is one of my biggest concerns when interacting with a company. I want to feel like I got a fair deal without having to negotiate it. On top of this, I based my final pick on each companys Google reviews. Weathermaster appears easy to get a hold of should issues arise. The installation went smoothly with no complaints on my part. While I hope my windows will last for a long time, I know the next time I need a other windows in my home replaced, I will be contacting Weather Master.

The only way I could have been more happy was if the windows were free. These windows are wonderful and the capping around the windows (over old wood trim) will last for years. WeatherMaster installed new double insulated windows in my home way back in 1996. One of these windows, a large custom picture window (52 X 66) in my living room, recently showed signs of clouding between the panes. I called WeatherMasters customer service department to find out what, if anything could be done after such a long time after installation. I was promptly informed that this window was still under warranty (after 23 years!) and would be replaced at no cost. Just last week, they installed a new beautiful replacement picture window in my living room. All of the employees that I dealt with from this company were professional, friendly and committed to my satisfaction, as well as doing a good job. In the 35 years I have owned my home, I have never experienced better customer service from any other home improvement company. I highly recommend WeatherMaster Windows to anyone seeking new windows from a company that showed me they will do quality work and honor their warranty (even after two decades) without hesitation.

They took our initial deposit and said wed have Windows in 4-6 weeks. Six weeks later, we were contacted because they had lost some paperwork, our windows hadnt even been started yet and wed have to wait until after the holidays for them to even start making the windows, making it an additional 5-7 weeks before installation. Finally, we get the call to schedule installation and were assured that theyll do one room at a time,so the whole house isnt wide open in the middle of winter, especially since there had to be lead abatement, which cost us extra. We were also assured that theyd work with us regarding our pets so I could move them from unfinished rooms to finished rooms. Day of installation: I had to turn the heat off. Fine. The first two rooms, they used plastic drop cloths and both rooms had the windows removed at the same time. Vents were not covered and no additional measures were taken pertaining to the lead. They did a sloppy job on the trim and had to redo it, they broke cedar shingles, and did not work with us about the pets. We were told that theyd report the broken shingles when they turned in our paperwork. The remaining balance was taken out of our account two days later, but the office had no idea about the broken cedar siding. They said theyd forward the issue to service. Two months later, I had to call about the trim falling off and reminded them about the broken siding. They said they had no record of it but the service guy would call me the next day. That was a Wednesday. The following Monday, I sent them an email letting them know about my dissatisfaction and that we Still hadnt heard from anyone. We got an apology and a call from service scheduling us for two weeks later. I asked for a,time and wasnt even given a window of hours. Today, they showed up- on the appointed date, but with no warning as to time. They replaced the missing trim amd patched in pieces of broken shingles. And it looks patched and shoddy. I was disappointed months ago, now I wish I had gone with almost any other company. Customer service is virtually non-existent. Follow through is deplorable. They are careless and unprofessional. They charge extra for lead abatement but dont do anything to beyond a plastic drop cloth on the floor. They throw garbage out windows into the garden. They carried the old windows out with no wrapping to protect from any flaking lead paint. They leave a mess to clean up after...There are a lot of window companies out there, I highly recommend finding someone other than these guys.

I chose WeatherMaster windows on a recommendation from a neighbor who was pleased with the experience. My condo is nearly 30 years old and sill had the original single pane windows and my door was out of square due to settling of the building it had so many gaps.The technicians arrived right on schedule. I felt badly for them because I live on the third floor. But they got right to work. Luckily I followed the pre-installation instructions and moved some furniture so they had room to work. It made their job easier so they could finish in a timely manner. They explained what they were going to do and why before proceeding.Because of structural issues, a 3 frame window and my door were more difficult to install, but the technicians were able to fix the issues and finish the installations beautifully.I am so happy with the entire WeatherMaster experience.My new windows and door look beautiful!I highly recommend WeatherMaster, everyone I dealt with from start to finish was knowledgeable and pleasant.

We had 1 in home interview and due to Covid some accepted online meetings, which is a true blessing when it comes to windows. The 1 company that came to our house were professional, but really expected us to make a decision right now!! No thank you, we need to interview others. Another big named company was like, MSRP is $$$$$$$ but I was able to get it all the way down to $$$. Another 1 that runs its own window replacement forum took my info, promised to get back to me (twice) but never did.With WeatherMaster Baltimore it was nothing like that. Scott from the store passed us on to Herb. Chatted with Herb on the phone, went over what we were looking for in a window. Very easy gentleman to speak with. He emailed us brochures on the 4700 and 7700 windows and prices (I had measured the windows and had emailed them to him) No pressure to buy now, right off the bat gave a great price.We actually went to the store and met his brother Ed and saw the windows and learned a bit more about the history of the company. The only negative aspect of the visit was that Ed had not brought in his dog to work that day!I will update this review as the process continues, thus far, it truly is a 5-star experience. We started small with just 4 windows, and are now ready to do all of the other windows in our home. We are very pleased with the product and the installation. The mechanics were very neat, clean and did not use bad language even when they experienced difficulty getting the old windows out. I love our new windows--very smooth operation and obvious improvement keeping out the heat. The prices are amazingly affordable, and Ive interviewed them all--Andersen, Thompson Creek, Champion, etc. Before you make a decision, you must call WeatherMaster. They go everywhere and walk the talk. I confidently recommend them.

We had 6 windows installed in a rental rowhouse. The tenants say the workers were great: worked quickly, friendly, cleaned up behind themselves. And the windows are wonderful: the house is warmer and much quieter. The reason I ding them 1 star is because, after signing the contract and paying $700 down, it took about a month before someone showed up TO MEASURE THE WINDOWS. Only THEN could manufacturing begin. So it was 2 months before installation took place.And then, on installation day, the workers showed up saying they couldnt do the work until they had a check for the final $2000 balance. Because it was a rental unit. I had to call their office and get it straightened out before the work could begin. Had I not been reachable that day, who knows - they might have gone home again. On 2nd thought now, im going to take away another star. Both of those were self-inflicted errors. But the tenants are happy with the windows.

We just had 12 replacement windows and two sliders put in our house by WeatherMaster and I must say the experience was first rate from start to finish! When the company representative came out, he offered us several choices for both the windows and doors and fully explained the differences between them. They never tried to strong arm us into buying the more expensive windows.After ordering the windows, the turn-around time was very quick! The installer worked with us and our work schedule for the installation. When the install techs arrived, they were courteous and professional. 1st Rate Company! Unexpected professionalism and excellent customer service from a window company. My expectations due to previous experiences were very low but they surprised me so much I felt compelled to do something Ive never done, Go online and write about it. From the first call to the last person I dealt with, everyone was friendly and professional. The windows are great but the people are what separates them from all the others. They have restored my faith in contractors.

Windows were fine, and along with install. However do NOT trust them when it comes to billing. I had them install windows for me two years earlier. I was told it was paid in full, and now they are telling me that i owe them $500, plus over $300 in interest. This is the first i heard about this in the two years. I chose to work with them since they are local and not a big box company, however they are disorganized and frankly unprofessional. I would not recommend working with them. Choose a larger company that is actually organized.

They were very professional, prompt and did an excellent job. I also received several estimates and their price was the lowest cost for the same quality products.

Great salesman, fair prices, good windows, good installers. No follow up and communication between all parties and scheduling could be better.Update 4/2019 One window sash failed (gas seal) within the first year and was replaced for free under the warranty. Another five failed the 2nd year, replaced under the lifetime warranty from the manufacturer but had to pay for labor as that is only for the first year. Not so sure about the windows anymore as 6/18 failed and will be looking for another company when it is time to replace the ground floor windows.

I had a door installed in 2010. I noticed my floors started to bubble. I had a flooring company come look at it and they said the door was leaking. I had a separate door company look at it and they said the door wasnt properly installed due to the flashing around the door. I called weather master and they came out to tell me that I didnt keep up with caulking around the door. They basically said I was to blame for a door less then 10 years old leaking into my house and ruining my floors. They took no accountability. I would never recommend them to anyone. I hope this helps someone.

Our salesman, Pat Borkowicz, was responsive, punctual, very professional and straightforward. Weather Master didn’t play pricing games like some other companies (particularly Window Nation)

I had a great experience with weathermaster windowns. Herb was really professional and explain in detail everything I needed to know. The two technicians that install the windows were on time and friendly. They cleaned everything and explained to me all the details about my new windows. I will definitely use weathermaster to replace my windowns again in the future.

I would not use them again. The window was installed (finally), but overall they consistently would not return phone calls or generally seemed unconcerned with completing my job. They were late or missed 3 of 5 appointments and only returned 1 of 4 phone calls.I originally signed a contract to have a new window put in my home in late November of 2012. The salesperson was over an hour late and this should have been my first indication to look elsewhere.I agreed to pay approximately $1400 for the window. The company representative explained that the it would normally take between 6 to 8 weeks to build and deliver my windows from the factory. However, because my windows would be built during the Christmas holidays, they estimated in would take an additional two weeks to receive my windows. I would likely have my windows installed in early January of 2013.The window person who measured my window and the lead paint tester both showed up on time and I have no complaints about those processes.In late December, I called the company to check on the status of my windows. I was told that the person that could check on my windows was not available and they would call me back the next day. I do not recall the name of that person. I did not receive a call back.After two days of waiting for a response, I called the company again to check on my window. I was told that my windows had not yet arrived from the factory and they did not know when the windows would arrive. I was irritated and asked them to contact the factory, but I received no response.Finally in mid January, about two weeks after the windows were supposed to be installed, I received a call to schedule the installation. Please remember that the original estimate included a time lag to allow for the Christmas slow down at the factory.I took leave from work and waited for the installer to arrive. The installer called and told me that he could not make the appointment due to a truck breakdown. By this point, I was regretting using a company with such a poor ability to keep appointments and return phone calls. I called the company at about 8:35 AM and was told someone would contact me. After waiting about an hour for a call back, I finally drove to there company location.The gentleman I spoke to was polite enough and explained why the events were beyond their control. We negotiated a discount to my window because of the nearly three week delay.On Saturday the installer arrived and the window was installed (finally) without incident. However, I did not receive the discount agreed to after the first missed appointment. It appears no one at the company had communicated to him our agreement for a discount. I was sick of arguing with the company and just paid the original agreed to price.In conclusion, I deeply regret not using on of there competitors. The window itself seems to be fine (but it has only been installed for two weeks). I realize that my job was a small job, but $1400 is a lot of money for me and I resent their slow response.

Used them for over a decade on several rowhomes Ive rehabbed in Baltimore and service is the best. Ive given up shopping around at this point, because no one beats their prices and service. More importantly, they dont upsell you on more expensive windows that you really dont need. Ive also used their windows on my own home.

Ive had the worst customer service. FOUNTAIN makes you feel like an inconvenience, they dont return calls. Total hassle and not courteous.

Just had widows installed about 2 weeks ago. 1st had rain we had water was pooring in the front window. The inspector that showed up tells me everything that could be our fault but nothing could be there fault. Never had an issue with water until the new widows were put in. They say water may be coming down behind the siding and they have seen this many times before. This was basically a new install and all should have been taken in consideration if this has been an issue . I will update after they come back 3 days from today to make repairs.

Worst windows ever, they leak cold air more then my old windows. they said: that they would put insulation between the windows and the wall they did not do as they promised. my sister had windows put in by home depot 100% better then weather masters

Weather master been to my house 2 time to fix windows leaking air not fix yet still leaking air the service guy not know what he is doing i had 11 windows install i keep calling and miss Vontain will not return my calls.and they said the window is a lifetime warranty this is a joke and i keep calling.

On a window day my windows leak air like crazy i put a cigarette lighter around the window and it almost blows out the lighter especially at bottom of the window where the window sits on the window cell,weathermasters came out and said: that this is normal for the cold air to migrate down to the bottom of the window and come through ? Normal my butt, now i have to put plastic around the windows to keep the cold air from coming through I will not recommend weathermasters Buyers Beware !
