If Im going to go to a gun shop this is the one I go to. The other location is closer to me but the location on Jomani has excellent customer service. They spend the time with you to answer all your questions and never rush you. Most of the employees are extremely knowledgeable.

Both Bakersfield locations have good employees which is important in operating a business.

It has improved so much since becoming Turners. Customer services is great no complaints. As things are a bit crazy they have managed to keep prices fair. There is so much product there too so it’s more than guns and ammo. I can get targets, bags, lights and pepper spray!

Went way down hill after being sold to Turners. Ordered a firearm over a month ago since theres virtually nothing in stock, it still never came in yet they still took 30% restocking fee out of my refund. How you can restock an item which has never even entered the premises is beyond me. Wont be doing that ever again. If youre in the market for a firearm, Sportsmans warehouse in Visalia is worth the drive since they actually have firearms and dont try to rob you.

If you like to not only deal with the state of California but also corporate entities when you purchase already regulated firearms this is your place.

Be prepare to wait several hours and make multiple trips. The first visit the wait was long and they required temperature checks and mask. On my third trip back there were very few customers. Not only were they rude to us, but to other customer. One clerk came over to us to complain about the customer he just offended. While we we talking to the person helping us another clerk came over leaned it to us and told us not to be so loud. He was wearing a mask, but under his nose.. My son told him to back away and put on his mask properly Several others were also wearing mask below their nose.I expressed my concern as a senior he responded by saying they fog up my glasses and are uncomfortable for them.They are for everyone They are protected from us but we are not protected from. them. Dont give them money unless they can give you what you are paying for.

Longest Wait. Waited over 4 hours for paperwork.Ordered a holster , for three weeks I kept calling to get a delivery date. They kept telling me I would get a call when order came in. Went to store to get a answer, again I was told I would get a call when it arrived. Asked to get a delivery date or a refund. When they finally bothered to check, they found out item was never actually ordered. Never did they even try to apologize, or explain the mistake. They make you feel like you are wasting THEIR time.Second Amendment is being bought out by Turner Sport so our store warranty will not be valid .. asked about getting a refund. On a rifle and gun I purchased, They said they could not.They should have a sign saying they are selling to turner sports. Store warranties will not be valid. Any warranty will have to be mailed , for additional cost and wait.Feel cheated they know , but do not notify customers store will change ownership. If I would have known I would have not bought my rifle and hand gun from them. I would have gone to an establishment that will be around after December...Guess it’s not beneficial for Second Amendment to notify customer. That should be illegal. Not noticing customers

I have been shopping at this location for the past 3 weeks, and I have been so impressed every single time i shop here with the efficiency of the staff and operations at this location. They are knowledgeable, organized, courteous and professional. Not so at their Mohawk location, they were the opposite, so i started shopping at Valley Gun, until i discovered this location. My biggest pet peeve is customer service and just wanted to share my experiences. Also, i am Hispanic and fiance African American and NEVER have we felt discriminated, had to state it because someone else on their previous review had posted feeling a certain type of way. Keep up the great job. 👏👏👏

Spent well over 7 hours just waiting to fill out paperwork after purchasing a weapon and paperwork picking up a weapon. It took about 20 minutes to fill out the paperwork. I received a call from Justin, a staff member. He was very pleasant and genuinely cares. Before speaking with him I would say I would never go back but he apologized and informed me of there efforts to cut the waiting time. Because of that call I changed my 2 star review to 4 stars. I will more than likely be shopping there again.

The gentleman who helped me was not welcoming. I was offended due to his treatment and attitude towards me. I been Ben before and it was welcoming and friendly.but not this most recent time . Me and my freinds will not be returning to this location most likely. Really disappointed

Dont even have a common 45 caliber ammunition for a 911 pistol I had to order somewhere else they had plenty of stocking inventory this company does not have nothing trying to make money off of target practice only

My mom and I went here for a gun training class (weve been wanting to learn how to shoot). It was a really neat class, about no more than 9 of us. We had a safety lesson beforehand (around 2 hours) and then we were able to select the guns we wanted to try and shoot. The instructor was awesome and I would highly recommend this for anyone who is interested in learning to fire and properly hold a firearm. ((Please note that we took the hand gun course but I feel like they would be amazing in any of their courses)). Definitely a great hands on class!

Well stocked, very clean. The environment is safe and welcoming. The range is excellent, and there is a large assortment of ammo and accessories.

Me and my wife first time going there. was a bit nervous at first but when we walk in it was a good environment. staff are friendly dont bother you when your looking around like other stores. Shooting range was a awesome experience have cheap rentals and ammo. Was embarrassed to ask how to use one of there firearm I rented but they answered my question with out making me feel dumb. US Veteran here. I lost alot of money doing business with one of their shops here in Bakersfield. Might not have been their fault, might have. However I lost alot and feel burned by them. I would never recommend them for their lack of help and or care.

Just got my very first gun n they made the whole experience easy, even tho they were in the middle of their annual sale n was crazy busy.. staff is knowledgeable n can tell me the major differences between the 3 or 4 I was looking at n wasnt sure which to get.. the testing n handling demo was simple, straight to the point but thorough. Overall a great experience for first time buyer who knows nothing!!

This is my favorite location! They always seem to have enough staff to handle the crowds, which is a big selling point for me. Today we picked up a 22LR and had a great experience with Saul. He was friendly and quite knowledgeable. He didnt get frustrated when I kept asking questions and was very forgiving if a asked a stupid question. Excellent experience, even if a little expensive. Ill pay extra for friendly faces and courteous staff any day! Thanks Saul!

Not the most competitive prices but they have a shooting range that you can rent gonna at. Pretty good stuff. Knowledgeable staff too. The guy was really helpful.

Have made many purchases here.A lot faster than the other location and more helpful.Don’t listen to the guy who said they are racists and rated 1star. His review was 2 days ago which was during a very busy sale week. And is probably mad he had to wait for service.Or he’s an anti-constitutionalist and doesn’t like tools of protection and sport.

Jake helped us go threw the steps to purchase a handgun. He answered questions, did dimonstrations and explained accessories and addition safety items we might be interested in. We are happy with our purchases and the service.

Excellent facility and staff. Was disappointed as an out of town visiting Firearms Instructor that they do not allow Non- Members to shoot at their Ranges unless you pay for a one year membership! Silver Membership is 25 bucks, plus another 10 bucks to shoot, plus you have to buy their ammo and they didnt have any 9mm ammo available! I ended up buying the one year Senior Membership for 110 bucks then could use my own ammo! Yes, I was disappointed but went ahead and had a blast anyhow!

Great experience there. Ive never owned a gun before that day I went in. Was greeted by Chris. Excellent, knowledgeable, and patient salesman. Was comfortable the whole time I was there.The staff at this location, was all friendly. Paid a little more than another place. But the service is A+ from the sales staff and filling out the paper work. Will defenitely go there again.

You wont find any gun shop that has as great selection of anything you need with fair prices and a friendly staff. Also I would say if theyre having one of their big sales you might have a wait so be patient.Need help with your guns like mounting hardware, new sights and other gunsmith work done just let them know, their great. They have 2 locations to better serve your needs. They have nice target ranges and the store off Allen Rd. Has ability to allow long guns and has AC above each lane.I could say more but I want you to go find out some times during your Second Amendment Sports experience. Have a great time and be safe

Let me lay out my experience..I’m an African American, I was selling my Stevens 320 to a Caucasian gentleman. A worker comes up to us and asked what could he do to help us out. Me and the guy buying said we are doing a private party. The worker turns to me and TELLS me all the things I need to buy a firearm, he doesn’t ask me for it or even ask if I had it, but I say my friend here is buying. He handed us off to a lady and says “these men are doing a private party”. The lady then turns to me and once again TELLS me what I need and says that they do background checks as if saying that would scare me away. Then we head to a different guy for the $35 fee, and he looks at me and says “that’ll be $35”. The point is Mr. Honer that not once did anybody ask who was buying. They all assumed I was buying and everything about that visit made me feel uncomfortable. That lady was the worst.

Went in to buy a a firearm for my husbands birthday. And had a great experience clean and very helpful workers. Hispanic gentleman was very helpful and helped me get my husband a great firearm.

Not very friendly or understanding when it comes to navigating the crazy liberal CAgun laws. Requested a refund on the deposit i placed(minus the cost of the application and background check), which they refused. Credit card company refunded me after i disputed the cost. Would have continued doing business here had they not been so rude about the whole situation.

The guys and galls at this 2nd amendment store are 2nd to none. The customer service is why I keep coming back; bringing friends & family. My father-in-law & I find ourselves talking to the employees for an hour or two every visit, good people. Chris is totally our #1 choice to talk to when going here.Prices are normal, but you can save money when they have a special or sale. This will be the only place my family will shop, even if we have to travel from LA County.

Its been a very long time since i have went back a few years ago in 2016 I had a pleasent experience they have a great selection they also have some hunting gear, a shooting range, and offer firearm training classes. I dont remember the sales associates name that helped me there but he was very professional. I do understand peoples experiences may vary usually most of the the time if you give someone the respect you would want im sure you will have a good experience being professional yourself as a customer aswell as the sales representative.

By far the best gun store in bakersfield super friendly people and they are just top of their game will be going back for my next fire arms there!

I was reluctant to shop here because of my experience at the other 2nd Amendment store on Rosedale. The staff at this store are GREAT! Super friendly, super helpful and they dont act like they are doing you a favor by assisting you. Somebody needs to tell the staff at the Rosedale store that without the customer there is no store. Prices are decent, especially for California. This is now the only gun store I will go to in Bakersfield.
