Five stars for the employees--so kind and helpful. I couldnt say enough good things. I have used them before, and it was great. This time, unfortunately I had a problem and didnt expect any response from the business. I cant get to the store in time to see about swapping my boxes out, but the business managements response here makes me think they really would have worked to address the issue. So the employees are really good, and it seems like the managers are really good, too, in case you have a problem. Their policy indicates that theyll buy back the still-flat boxes when I can finally get out and about to do that, so Im not worried. Go ahead and get your boxes here--they seem to stand by their product.

Not only is everyone that works here so friendly and helpful, the cost is absolutely reasonable, the selection is huge and the store is really organized. If you have any questions, they have answers. If you purchase boxes in bulk, theyll make sure you know more discounts are available. Just an all-around great place.

Shea was really helpful when picking the type and amount of boxes that I needed. The place has a lot of different box sizes and tools that you need to pack and move. The prices were also really good for the quality of boxes. I will definitely come again!

Not only was a staff very knowledgeable, but they asked a lot of questions to help me get what I needed and ONLY what I needed. They also seem to have a great respect for each other which shows that there is some good leadership in place.

Super cheap boxes! I should have started here instead of paying $$$ for boxes at Home Depot and Lowes.

They have boxes of all sizes. We have gone there 3 or 4 times and gotten what we needed. The name is 1/2 Price Boxes, but happily the boxes arent cheaply made. They are really sturdy boxes; excellent for storing stuff in the attic.

Great box selection. I mainly just need bubble wrap in bulk (which is very competitively priced here) but when I do need boxes they do have all the weird sizes I need.

Great place not only for moving but also mailing needs. They were out of medium boxes when I went, which is pretty inconvenient since they dont restock til after my move, but otherwise the selection is GREAT and the prices are very reasonable. Less than youll pay at FedEx, UPS, etc.

This place is awesome! The gentleman working today (I didnt catch his name) was just awesome. I came in with the dimensions of something I was trying to ship. Its a box that doesnt really exist but he helped me to find the closest he could get and gave me advice on how to customize the box to be a bit smaller. Also helped me to choose the proper packing I needed. He was very friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this place!! Thanks for the help today!!

They had everything that I needed! Not the cheapest place, but I didnt mind. I needed a box to ship a rifle and they had a box specifically made for that.

They have an excellent selection of boxes. Was looking for a 25x12x10 box for an antique clock. They had the perfect size box and it was only $4. The clerk was very friendly and helpful. Very pleased and would absolutely go back if I needed a special size box.

The place to go when you need boxes of a specific or hard-to-find size. They have everything, and theyre very happy to help you find what you need based on measurements. I used to have to pack up items for trade shows and conventions and these guys were always my first visit. They have got tape and bubble wrap as well. Better than a storage place for the sheer number of options.

Good place for boxes

If I was rating this place 6 months ago I would have given it a 5 star review.Since the regular sales guy left its been really lacking in service.They were out of stock of multiple sizes around the holidays which is understandable but my husband and I are regular customers for our Online business. The new sales guy would not even agree to give us a call when items are in stock or put some aside for us (I was ready to pay in advance).He knows nothing about the pricing system and is slightly uninterested in his job.I will continue to shop there for their prices and quality but not as happy as before.

This place rocks! They have a lot of choices and the prices are super great! The employee is always helpful and seems to know what hes talking about. He usually knows off the top of his head if he has something in stock or not, too! I initially thought that the quality of boxes here would be lower than the standard boxes sold anywhere else but this is not the case. Their boxes are really nice and they even have all sorts of cool stuff like box-colored tape.(meaning the brown color/texture) They have box cutters, permanent markers, bubblewrap, box tape etc. We do a lot of Ebay stuff and find this place to be a godsend whenever we dont have the proper box to ship our goods out in!! Love this place, always go back, and plan to go back whenever need be!!

The other day I came in trying to find a way to ship a painting off. I had never shipped one off before, so I was quite nervous about the packaging, heat, etc. On top of that, I was feeling a little ill. The store manager, Brittany was BEYOND cheerful and helpful. She spent a thorough amount of time with me making sure I had all the right supplies for a safe shipment. Brittany, if youre reading this, youre really great at your job and you made one anxious woman quite at ease with your welcoming attitude and helping hand. Lots of gratitude. I have come here in the past for moving needs and will continue to use them again!

Major disclaimer: I didnt end up buying my boxes here. Im leaving a review due to why.I dont know what the 1/2 Price claim is based on - after having to go to my second choice, I found their bulk prices are exactly the same as Lowes non-bulk prices.The reason I ended up checking Lowes was after finding out that despite many claims on their site otherwise, they dont deliver in Austin, which was a major selling point for me (especially after I found out they wouldnt save me money. The person on the phone sounded like she deals with this question all the time, so its super weird that its not addressed on the site.From what I understand, staff will help load boxes into your vehicle, though, so I gave them an extra star, because that was the only non-ideal part of ending up somewhere else.

I rode around Austin for three days looking for a box to mail a picture frame. I went to one post office and they said they didnt carry boxes that size. I went to FedEx and they wanted to charge me $50. I was then told about 1/2 price boxes and the gentleman worker was so helpful and got me the perfect size.

Make sure you count ALL of your poly mailers in front of them. I paid for 100 and only received 94

I come here regularly, however, they are usually low on stock/out of sizes I need, or dont always carry regular sizes. I end up having to go to ecobox, but they are way across town. If this place was better about their prices/stock (I find it a bit unfair that if they have less than a bundle available, I have to pay the premium single box price) I might use them more often, but I more often find myself driving across town...

I needed to ship a vase full of flowers and thought this would be the perfect pace for help. Well I was wrong bc but the girl at the counter was extremely unhelpful. She pretty much said she had no idea how to ship it except using bubble wrap. She had no solutions and frankly didnt seem to care.

Great place to picking up boxes for moving. We purchased boxes here to ship to Europe. There is plenty of selection for every need.

After reviewing the website and researching all other companies prices I found that a lot of the prices are the exact same with Uhaul right down to the discount for buying in bulk. I feel that the statement that they are the cheapest is a false advertisement. Their package rates are a lot higher than other sites which leaves me to believe that they are just as expensive as everyone else but less convenient then other companies.

Great service and decent prices. Compared to other box stores in other cities, they are a little high in price but the cheapest I have found in Austin. I buy most of my packing supplies here except tape, which Walmart is cheaper for.

So far not a great experience at all. First, they are not 1/2 price! They are only 1 penny cheaper than uhaul and at least at uhaul they are nice enough to put the boxes in your car. I picked up a lot of boxes and the clerk didnt even ask if I needed help - I am a mid-50s woman, was there by myself and those bundles of boxes are heavy and unwieldy. I struggled for a long time in order to get them in my car. Next time, I will NOT be using this place. I would rather pay 1 cent more per box and get assistance. Quality-wise, the very first box I put together and put things in came apart - looks like I will be using copious amounts of packing tape to keep these boxes together. If it wasnt so very hard to get them back into my car, I would return them. Lesson learned.

Rude and unhelpful. Dude working the counter seemed annoyed that I even came in. Didnt offer to help load 15+ boxes. Didnt say Thank you either for coming in. Boxes are cheap but not half price. Id rather go somewhere else next time.
