Went to all the places around and they were the best. Great customer service and really good prices. Bought beds for us and our kids and they all turned out great.

This was the first store we checked out after arriving in Austin, and I am so glad we didnt waste our time anywhere else. After explaining the type of mattress I normally like, Mike directed us perfectly to a quality mattress that was even on sale! Such a deal that the price included both mattress and box spring. Mike was incredibly helpful in tying the bed on the top of our car and answering all of our questions... he knows how to do customer service right! Definitely recommend this shop :)

I was told on the phone that there was 4 box springs available. When I arrived the same person then told me they won’t arrive until next week. Then claimed she didn’t speak with me. So I confirmed the phone number was in fact the correct phone number... just a waste of my time.

I’d give this place 4.5 stars if I could. My family & I came to get a king mattress for my Brother. It’s not a huge place, mattress selection isn’t that grand, but like I mentioned it’s not the biggest place. Monica was extremely friendly and down to earth. Loved her bubbly personality. We ended up getting him a king sized mattress for a little over $600. You can’t beat that price! Went there 10/16 before closing and the mattress came the next day. I took off .5 stars because the mattress came with 2 scuffs, nothing more than a centimeter. However, it did come off with a little stain remover. I highly recommend this place!

Ive brought mattresses from this location twice. And both times I was very happy. The prices are amazing and the mattresses are great. They even delivered the same day I purchased and at a time that worked perfectly for me. You can buy online if you cant make it to the store also. Monica was great and has an amazing personality. Monica and Lee were very helpful in selecting the right mattress for us, and they were personable without being overbearing while we tried the mattresses and made a decision. Monica came out and helped us move the mattress and tied it to the truck very securely (we were legitimately impressed by those knots lol). We had a great experience, got a great value! Great place to run in and buy a mattress. They run a lean operation to keep costs down. No fancy showroom. We bought a fairly nice twin with box springs for about 200.00 and are very satisfied. The lady working was very very friendly. She gave our two children balloons and even let them jump on the mattresses! How fun is that? Go check them out :)

Best mattress services in Austin, by far. Very reasonable, knowledgeable, and friendly,. We ordered our Queen mattress set. On a Saturday morning. They had it delivered and set up by 1230 noon. I am impressed. Thanks to the staff at this fine business. They just gained a customer for life.

Had a great experience getting a mattress here. Their sales guy (Sam) was knowledgeable and let me relax while trying each mattress. For a mom and pop store, there was plenty of choice in the $150-$1100 range. Delivery was smooth and Ive been loving my new bed.

I am embarrassed to say how old our mattress was but we were finally replacing it and wasn’t sure where to go (there is no shortage of choices). Austin Discount Mattress is a nice local shop. Reasonable prices and absolutely no pressure, they greeted us listened to what we needed and told us what they had that might fit our needs and budget. . . No high pressure sales. We were told to take our time and try lots of mattresses. We selected one they had it stock and they delivered it the same afternoon! Couldn’t be happier with the purchase, price and service.

My mom needed a new mattress that would alleviate pressure on her back after back surgery.David was helpful and kind. He listened to her needs and made arrangements to have it delivered to another city within 24 hours!Needless to say, she is happy with mattress and her back is too!

Customer Service is fantastic! Wish I could give it 5 stars but they never followed up so I could actually complete my purchase. We went in around 4th of July weekend and loved a latex hybrid mattress they had but wanted something a little bit firmer than what they had in stock. The salesman promised to find out if it was possible and he would call us. I am guessing 7 months later, its either a No or they simply forgot. Wish I could have been a customer.

I saw all the high recommendations so I thought Id give them a shot. I walked in and they showed me around a bit. I let them know I was on a budget and they didnt try to up sale me and showed me the more affordable beds in my range. It was a very low key no pressure experience and I ended up getting a very nice queen in my budget at a fair price. All in all very happy w/ my experience there.

This family-owned business was super friendly, professional and informative. They helped us find exactly what we were looking for, in a mattress. Everything about the experience was positive, from the greeting and personal service we received when we walked through the door, to the end purchase and help with the mattress out to our truck. Their prices were very fair, as well.

I got a good price on the mattress set. However, I paid $49 for delivery and drop off in any room. The delivery guy showed up alone, so I had to help him carry it up the stairs to my apartment and in the bedroom. I felt like I was on the clock....and paying for it.

I believe we got as good of a price as you can get in Austin. The sales person was very nice, and not pushy. It was a good experience buying the mattress.However, Im a bit annoyed right now because 7 days after we purchased the king mattress and box-spring, we discovered that we didnt need a box spring. We had purchased a king frame on craigslist and hadnt put it together yet. When we did, we realized its already very high. Anyway, we have the box springs still in the plastic. However, the store will not take them back; nor did they offer any concession to take them back minus a restocking fee. They will just not take them back. I guess well sell them on craigslist.

I bought two mattress from this store and they shipped me wrong ones. I called the manager to return and he was so pest off and spoke vulgar language. I know that is not a professional seller, just asking for a return he started crying. Any way, one of the mattress is going to trash and planning to buy new one, I will never waste my money from these sellers.

Yes, Ive purchased from them a few years ago.Having had 3 low back surgeries and a neck surgery, having a firm but comfortable bed has become a top priority for my quality of life and my desire to remain active. The Texa-Pedic is the best kept secret in the mattress world!

This was exactly what I hoped it would be - a local store with friendly, personable staff that were eager for my business. The money that they *dont* spend on a giant, gaudy building is invested in competitive pricing and hiring staff that actually cares and takes interest in the needs of their customers. By way of comparison, the mattress set I bought was awfully similar to one I saw at Mattress Firm and for 2/3s less.I was in and out within 30 minutes (and after trying every bed they had). David was nothing short of a gentleman and worked hard to earn my business. I will gladly return to purchase my next set for my guest bedrooms and will be sure to let my friends and family know that this diamond in the rough is well worth the trip. Give them a call and stop by, youll be very glad that you did.
