As authentic as you’re going to get on this side of the world. Their gelato is handmade in-house. They have a great and constantly changing variety. Also, the owners actually got trained in Italy; it’s the real deal!

Wow! This is so darn good gelato. You can definitely taste when something is quality with gelato because its a finicky process to make. The place is very clean and they provide water for downing the ice cream in case you need it. Also the bathroom was very clean in case you would like to know. They allow you to go in if you have been fully vaccinated for covid, so highly recommend you get that done if you have not.

Visited for the first time and tried Chocolate, Strawberry sorbetto and Stracciatella flavors. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by taste of the gelato. While each one flavor was strong its own way, they were not overwhelming. Highly recommend the place.

After hearing about this place from many many of our neighbors we finally had a chance to give it a shot. We are not disappointed! Everything is so great. Store was nice and clean. The owner greeted us warmly and introduced their flavor today patiently. She also offered some sample to try before we order. We picked white coffee and dark chocolate gelato and both are very delicious! They also had the Halloween themed Pops available, we bought the Booberry before we left and it was really good too! Very pleasant experience with this lovely local store.

What a pleasant surprise this place was! First I love the realistic sizes, that is just refreshing and great as a customer. Second, the gelato fresh and amazing, all of it. Pumpkin Cheesecake and Cookies n Creme my favorites. The staff were great, location is great. Cant wait for many more trips to come.

Really loved the POG (Passion, orange, guava) & the Pecan Dulce de Leche flavors. Very smooth & creamy gelato & sorbetto. Peach & Mango flavors are also great & I enjoyed Ferrero Rocher. All flavors do well in my freezer.

Customer service is always top notch. This is a very clean establishment with the best flavors. I love the passion fruit, dulce de leche and many more. I love how they give you a little baggy of wafers for your to go items too.

My wife and I host social events for residents at our apartment community and at our most recent one we reserved the brand new Bat City Gelato serving cart to come out! To say it was a hit is an understatement. Our guests loved the taste of the famous cookies and cream recipe and are already making plans to visit the store to try more flavors. The cart is perfect for any party or social gathering you might be planning! And the staff was so easy to work with too! Thank you for helping to make our event so special Bat City Gelato!

Pretty good Gelato restaurant, and they have some pretty offbeat flavors. I tried the key lime kitkat flavor, and it was definitely pretty unique.

Cute Gelato shop. We tried white coffee, pistachio & roasted pecan flavors. All of them were so good!!! It was perfect Gelato just like the one we had in Italy a couple of years ago. =)

Cute, delicious and conveniently right next to a very delicious but spicy Thai - restaurant. They have an excellent variety of both traditional and unique flavors and gelato- pops that are all worth sampling. If they still have the laboratory special of honey and goat cheese, I definitely recommend trying that flavor!!

The new kid on the block is pretty yummy! Friendly service, plenty of flavors for anyone to find something, unique flavors, and they change daily. I got the Pistachio Gelato which tasted a tiny bit like peanut butter but in a good way... it tastes exactly like the Wondershowzen from Juiceland! Soo good! My fiancé got half Mango half Blackberry sorbet and he loved it. Well be back :)

Actually, I have to change my review. I was coming here and enjoying the ice cream for a while but the new staff are incredibly rude.

Due to covid, we called ahead and purchased some pints to take home. The staff was exemplary and had everything ready to go for us. The cookies and cream was incredible, and I highly recommend it. But honestly you cant go wrong with any of their flavors. They change their flavor selection periodically so follow them on Facebook or Instagram for updates. We will be going back soon!

Our family took an afternoon trip to Bat City Gelato and we were blown away by the quality of the gelato and the attention to cleanliness from the staff member. He was courteous and prompt as well, and he made sure all the safety protocols were followed to a T. The gelato was awesome as always: the cookies and cream, thin mint and “the King” (with peanut butter, chocolate and bananas) were spot on, and the s’more pop was inventive and delicious. A perfect visit in every respect!

A little hidden gem in northwest Austin, Bat City Gelato will keep you coming back. The flavors rotate frequently, with everything being made fresh there. For those are cant do dairy, youll be pleasantly surprised to find a nice selection of sorbets as well. You will NOT be disappointed!

Cannot recommend this place enough! The owner is so knowledgeable and friendly. This is just the freshest and most flavorful gelato I’ve ever had. There’s something for everyone. The fun flavor rotations keep me coming back. My past favorite gelato/ice cream places have had the same flavors forever.My mother has a lot of food sensitivities. Being able to ask what’s in because they actually developed and made it is beyond priceless. Bringing her a little treat that is made of things she can eat is no small gift.

The owners trained in Bologna, Italy, and you can taste it! The gelato is sweet and creamy, the service is incredible, and they rotate flavors regularly so theres plenty to try. I definitely recommend trying them out! I know I will be a regular here.

I discovered this place about a year ago and Im so sad that I didnt realize it existed earlier! This is by far the most delicious gelato I have had. It is even better than the ones Ive had in Europe and in and around Italy. So hands down its the best gelato in the area and all of Austin.The flavor choices are amazing! I love they variety of flavors that they have on any given day (updated on their Instagram page) The pistachio is hands down the most smooth and delicious pistachio gelato I have had, I hope its a staple one and they have it all the time.The flavors change and they always have a test laboratory flavor. There are different sizes so you can get up to 3 flavors in the large size. They also have fresh baked cookies, gelato pops, and coffee. They also started doing Gelato Pies! And let me tell you those pies are the hit of every party that I bring them to! They also have gelato cakes, which might be happening soon. Clearly I am here for gelato, I hope they have a frequent buyer program in the future because I have be coming in weekly when possible.The staff is so darn nice too! Our first time there, the girl was so nice, she let me taste anything I wanted. I felt bad because there was so many good flavors to try, she didnt hesitate to offer me any flavor samplings! Each time I go everyone is so friendly, its the icing on the cake for such a great shop find! Mary is the sweetest person ever and happens to also be the owner. I love going in here to just catch up with her and of course get some of her delicious gelato.I used Bat City Gelato for a work catering event of about 2500 people and it was a hit. The gelato was packaged and delivered without any hiccups. This was a change for my work to do a different type of dessert and people really enjoyed it! I have seen many of my co-workers go to Bat City Gelato after the event. I would highly recommend them for any catering event you have that you want some delicious desserts! Mary was very accommodating with the number of flavors that we were requesting. I hope that this catering can continue in the years to come.This is my new go to dessert place and Im going to have to tell everyone I know so that they can be around for a long time! The parking is great too, there is place to park right up front. There is tables and seating inside as well as stools outside too.

Yes, the quality of the gelato was good. And the owner couldn’t feel more tickled with herself over how much of a stink she needed to make over the samples I requested. We went to Baskin-Robbins right after and paid half for double the quantity. And you bet they gave me as many pink little spoons as I wanted.

Bat City Gelato has a very clean, calm, open aesthetic. The server at the counter was helpful and friendly. I enjoyed a small serving of the Pistachio Gelato, also sampling the Kibana Sorbetto which is made with fresh kiwis and bananas and had a wonderful flavor. I will definitely be back.

Amazing! Bat City Gelato has many delicious flavors and they’re always creating new ones. It’s often difficult to decide what to purchase after trying them all. I usually get one sorbetto and one gelato flavor. Sometimes I’ll take home a pint as well. The staff is very friendly. One thing my wife and I greatly appreciate is that they don’t play music loudly. For people who get migraines from overstimulation, this is a welcome change from many other restaurants and shops. They do have machines running in the back, so the decibel level is not that of a whisper, but the sound is a constant hum that doesn’t overwhelm the senses. It’s the flavor and texture of the gelato that speaks volumes here.

This is a must try if you are wanting to a have a true Italian gelato experience here in Austin. Great tasting, local, and fresh gelato made the right way. The owners are local and trained in Italy on how to make gelato. Kids cup is $2, Small ( 2 flavors ) is $3.50 and a Large (upto 3 flavors) is $6.50. We will be back!
