I moved to Texas back in May and have been looking for the “right hat” from a Texas store. I’ve been into Goorin Bros about 3 times before and never was able to find “the one”. I came in on a Sunday afternoon and tried on a few hats, I found one I loved but they did not have my size. I asked the associate, Sara, if she could look if any other store had my size and they didn’t. Somehow, Sara worked her magic and personally fitted/adjusted my hat and it fit perfectly! I was so so happy!! Thank you, Sara for helping me find a perfect hat!

They rejected this return as damaged in shipping. Came back in great condition to me. Really frustrating experience with customer service.

This and the San Diego shop are pretty close to the top of the list for my favorite GB shops. The setup here is pretty open, the staff are friendly and helpful and its a lovely place to come check out a hat for yourself. Dont forget to check out the pins and feathers bar to accessorize your new hat before you leave!

Seriously cool hats! Well made and lots of styles. Theyll shape and fit to fit you perfectly. They also travel well. We love Shelley although everybody was great.Lots of celebrities including Lady Gaga and RHCP singer wear this brand (extra credibility).

This Goorin is a great hat shop to visit in person! My husband and I were visiting, and I wanted to treat him to a couple of hats for his birthday. They made us feel at home and Terence helped us personalize our hats as well as the experience. Terence taught us about the style of hat, perks of purchasing from Goorin, and ensured we had what we needed.

Love their hats but I think the covid lockdown has changed the store a bit. They didnt have as many hats in store, maybe 1/3 of what the would usually have. It used to be good to go in and try a hat I had found online before buying. Hopefully it goes back to a full store (hats!) soon

Very nice, high end hat shop. Wish the pricing was a little better. I bought a hat there that after a few months decided wasnt for me. Not their fault the hat was $150 and I ultimately didnt like, but I would be far more likely to shop here again with more reasonable pricing.

This high-quality hat shop threw a concert in the middle of the store. It was part of SXSW festival that was going on in the city of Austin. The hats and the customer service are of highest quality. The displays eye catching which adds to the overall funess of the store. Take a visit!

I purchased the River gray fedora in Camel from this location over the phone due to me living in Alabama. Michael, Jose and Tatum have been extremely helpful providing me with info on the hats, sizing and photo and videos of hats Ive inquired about. Theyre always friendly and prompt with the info requested.

Bought my first hat there. Discovered that it had sun damage. Returned it same day. Wasnt a big hassle. Was afraid they would try to unfairly keep my money. They found me an exchange and all was ok. Got treated with respect. Turned out better than expected. Will update when replacement hat arrives.

Meh. Explored this hat shop several times...A real haberdashery is hard to find these days so this can act as a knock off experience. Not to my standards. Hats need to be dusted too.

If you need a hat of any kind they will have it for you. Helpful staff that does hat cleanings as well. Expect to pay extra for these hats because you’re getting great quality craftsmanship and materials. I got a fun Pork Pie and a feather. They also have flat caps, bowlers, fedoras, and some normal baseball caps.

What can I say... The perfect place to feel like a gentleman wearing their great collection of hats. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I had to leave my hat for repairs which they happily fixed it without charging me and they even shipped it to where I live, since Im from out of town.Top notch service and hats!

I got my newest flat top hat here, and Im glad I coped it at this hat shop. The wide variety of hats they have is astonishing and the one I got was very warm yet keeping a casual winter feeling. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who fancies a good hat!

Had a Goorin cap by mail order that fit a bit tight. Stopped here while passing through Austin. Guy put it on a steamer/stretcher. Fixed me right up! In and out. No charge. Parking is really hard to find. I ended up some 4 blocks away behind it in a residential area, much of which was restricted.

Great experience. Michael was awesome, he worked with me listening about the hats I already had and what I was thinking next. He showed me some great options and I helped me go with a new style I had not thought of before. Also, I had purchased a hat online and found I was a tweener size. He fixed that with no problem.

This is one of my favorite Goorin Bros locations and Im from San Francisco, where the flagship store is! The staff here is always incredibly friendly and helpful and the layout and selection of hats is amazing. Its one of my favorite places to stop by when Im shopping on South Congress. Even if I dont buy anything, I always have a great time here!

I wanted to get my fiancé a Goorin brothers hat as a grooms gift and I had found the perfect one on their website. When I went to actually purchase it, there was only an option for black instead of tan. I contacted customer service, they got my info and within 20 min the Austin store had contacted me and shipped me the hat. The woman I spoke to was so friendly and helpful! Highly recommend!

Wanted to love it as I am a total hat nut. Was a little less impressed than I wanted to be. Selection was a bit limited in my size but I have a big head I guess. Nice hats though a bit expensive though from my experience. I will definitely try them again at some point.

Ive purchased four flat caps over the last two years from here. A friend of ours needed their mothers old felt hat cleaned and reshaped so we thought of Goorins. The ladys at Goorin Bros were so helpful. They cleaned and reshaped it to near new condition at no charge. Great quality and great service.

My favorite Goorin Bros location (been to NYC and SF). The folks are friendly and offer the best advice. Maggie showed amazing patience while I tried on a bunch of hats. I left with a quality hat that I know looks great!

This is one of my happy places in Austin. The staff is superb, amazingly warm and superduper helpful! The hats are just magic. I own several Goorin Bros hats and I get compliments on them EVERY single time I step out in one. If there was a sixth star Id give it to them!

American Made across his windows? Check for yourselves. The gentleman who chased my not so expedited order down a couple days ago is the ONLY reason this is a 2 star and NOT a 1 star review!!I went to Goorin to purchase a Christmas/wedding gift for my father. They didnt have the hat I needed so I had to order it, because I didnt want him to know what he got, I had them ship me the hat so I could wrap and send to him out of state. I paid for expedited shipping. Now, I realize I ordered on a Sunday and naturally anyone who ships is aware it wont go out on a Sunday, but when I received the tracking number Sunday night, I had expected it would have gone out Monday. Unfortunately not the case, they ordered my product from a different store and that store chose to not send it out even by Tuesday... so I called the store back, spoke with a gentleman who was most helpful and tracked the store down, getting them to change my shipping to overnight and assure it went out that same day! he was awesome, dont remember his name... wanna say it started with an E and wasnt a normal everyday name. I did finally receive the box as promised on Wednesday.Now for my escalated DOWNHILL experience. when I opened the box, I noticed that the hat box (sized medium) was NOT with my hat in the box. So I again called the SoCo store to see if they could look up my order. I was speaking with someone named Maggie. Maggie never ever listened to me. The entire 10 minute conversation was wrapped around her not doing anything to assist with what I was asking. I simply asked her to look up my order to find out if there was an error made or if I needed to wait for a hat box to be shipped. She kept insisting that she would either overnight me a hat box (which they didnt have, which is why I had to order it) or refund me. Lets think this through, as a customer service person myself, wouldnt it have been easier and less exhausting on the irate customer to just slow down, stop offering solutions to a problem youre creating yourself and just look up the order???? I repeated several times that I just wanted to have her look up my order and she continued to insist on getting my card # or to send me a hat box. I asked to speak to the store manager and she said that was her.... NEWSFLASH GOORINS, YOU PROBABLY SHOULDNT HAVE A MANAGER THAT A CUSTOMER FEELS LIKE WHEN SPEAKING TO THEY ARE SPEAKING TO A WALL!!!I will sadly probably NEVER do business at your location again due to this employee. She was an absolute joke! I know most people will read my review and just think why did you not just have her send you another box or refund the money. and the answer is, its the principle that she never once acknowledged that I had an issue, she just wanted to do what was easiest for her with no leg work. Unfortunately after asking several times for her to look up my order, she didnt one time say, sure I can look up your order or for that matter even recognize that I was asking for her to. Customer Service is a HUGE deal to me, and she couldnt preform at any level. Im sorry, but if you are going to be a store manager, you should probably have at least a little bit of skill, if youre not listening to me, you probably arent listening to other customers or your own employees for that matter.
