We have had nothing but exceptional experiences with Matt at The Austin Diamond Room. We first started exclusively purchasing through him a decade ago, as we were selecting our wedding rings. Most recently, he delivered once again with a stunning 10th anniversary infinity diamond ring. He helped my husband find the perfect cushion cut diamonds to build my ring, and then set it in wax because my husband wanted me to be able to choose my own setting. I brought in a picture of a trellises setting that I thought would be perfect and allow my diamonds to sit low. Within a week, he shared mock-up photos at every angle, plus a video that allowed me to move the ring in every direction. He nailed the design on the first try and delivered my gorgeous infinity band a week later. I LOVE THIS RING!!! I wear it every day, regardless of whether I’m even leaving the house. Every time I look at it, I fall in love with it a little more. My husband and I both highly recommend visiting Matt for any jewelry needs and will continue seeing him for ours. He’s professional, easy to work with, accommodating on meeting times, and the showroom is upscale and secure.

Being young with no knowledge about diamonds, Matt took the time to sit and teach me everything about them. Had a great few visits with Matt who was knowledgeable and crafted a beautiful engagement ring. Unfortunately, ran into some communication problems (several unanswered emails and phone calls left unreturned) even before I purchased a ring. Pricing was also not competitive when compared to local lab-grown diamond jewelers and especially online lab-grown diamond sellers. I did not get the sense that The Austin Diamond Room was going to go out of their way to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase and was wary about their poor communication so I took my business down the street and ended up with a perfect engagement ring at a competitive price.

My experience with Matt at The Diamond Room was great! I was planning to propose to my GF and through some of my research along intel from her sister I found out she wanted a pear shaped black diamond, which is not the most common item at a jewelry store. Matt was able to bring multiple pear shaped black diamonds at both of our meetings until I found the perfect one! Being able to sit in a private office and have a 1 on 1 conversation about something as important and special as an engagement ring is the best way to do it. I was distressed because my wedding rings looked pretty beat up after only a few years. We bought them from am online jeweler and kept having to send them in for diamond replacement and replating. This is costly because we have to insure it and ship it each time. My husband decided I needed to take them to an actual jeweler, see what was going on with them and replace them if needed. I have used the Austin Diamond for 2 custom projects now and Matt exceeded our expectations for a competitive price. Its out of the way on the second story of an office building. I was a little nervous at first until I opened the door and saw the beautiful showroom area. It also helps that he has a scotch collection so we can sip while we shop. I recently referred a friend to have her wedding band re-done and she messaged me thanking me for the referral. He did a great job on hers as well. Definitely recommend the Austin Diamond Room.

I was invited to a Tesla event by Matt at the Austin Diamond Room (they host several cool events and happy hours). My wife wanted to change her Tiffany setting to something more fairytale and they had a custom setting designer giving free consults. We selected one that she loved and with Matts help I was able to secretly have the new ring she wanted made so I could surprise her with it! Great place to get ACTUAL customer service. I was in the market for a Diamond and found Matt on Google.He knows a lot about what he is doing and selling. I went there with my wife and in a few minutes he got her idea about ring design ,size, quality and of course price. A couple of weeks later it was done and the most important, Wife happy. If you are looking for a ring you wont be disappointed to stop by and talk with Matt.

We found Matt after a fine experience with another custom jeweler that we just didnt feel had enough of a selection, and we are so happy that we kept looking for the perfect person! He had plenty of options for the gemstones we were curious about and classic diamonds. I vaguely described some qualities I liked and he walked over and grabbed the perfect band that ended up being the one! He also was very thoughtful in every aspect of the process. He tried to get to know my taste since I didnt know exactly what I wanted. He was very honest with us about what kind of quality we could get away with (and therefore pay less for for the same look) and even had a perfect stone in mind that he ended up texting me a video of later that day when it arrived at his office. He was easy to talk to and had lots of detailed information to satisfy my fiances questions. He was also quick to get us in and met with us several times, and my fiance alone a couple of times as well.

Matt has created several custom pieces for me and I could not be happier. I came to him to help me design a special ring using stones from my late mothers wedding ring. He listened to my heart and designed the perfect piece that I wear always. It truly is one of the prettiest rings I have ever seen. You should see the sparkle. Matt has always been patient, kind, and professional. He has gotten everything done in the promised time and at a fair price. The process of getting a valuable stone from Austin Diamond Room was seamless and entertaining. I’m not a stone guru but Matt O’Desky is and he’s got Lots of stones on hand to select from. Of all the places we visited over a year and a half to find the right jeweler and the right ring, Matt’s place was hands-down the best. Stress free, relaxed, no pressure, inviting, and even fun (we were cracking jokes the whole time!).Price was important to me, so every conversation included the price point. What a great experience! Matt was a pleasure to work with. My wifes wedding ring kept losing its diamond due to a bad design, a design that I came up with myself, but obviously should have left to the professionals. The diamond has significant emotional importance and we feel that it is meant to be with us, as I have found it in various places no less than 4 times after it fell out and was replaced in my poorly designed ring. It is by appointment only, which was amazing because you get lots of personalized service by folks who really know and love what they do, and they make sure you leave happy. Matt and his staff are great! The meetings are intimate and you get access to his entire library of rings and diamonds. We didnt find anything we loved so he custom made something for us based on what we liked and it turned out beautiful!

Matt and his crew are amazing. After spending countless hours on line trying to educate myself, I decided to go talk to a pro. Matt spent well over an hour simply educating me on the different cuts, clarity, and sizing of the diamonds. After getting my education, I had my eye on a few options, and Matt actually advised me to purchase one of the less expensive options based on what I had in mind for my final setting. It was very refreshing to work with someone that had my best interests in mind, and I truly felt like he cared about what I wanted. I will be back for sure!

My husband and I have found our jewelers for life! We cannot say enough good things about Sheldon and Matt. They are both knowledgeable, honest, trustworthy, patient, not pushy, and the best part is they know what you want even if you cant express it. They have a gift of truly understanding what you are looking for before you even do, mainly because they take the time to sit and listen to you, to educate you so that you can better understand what you are looking for. They do not try to steer you in the direction of the more expensive stone, they want you to be happy with your choice and which ever one your eye likes is fine with them. We have used them twice and I have two gorgeous pieces of gemstone jewelry. The experience of being shown a wide array of different sizes, colors (different variation of color in the stone I wanted) and cuts then being able to pick which one I liked and have it set however I wanted was an amazing experience. (It took me about 2 hrs. to decide on the stone and I never got the feeling that I was being rushed, when you are working with them they are only focused on you).
