Although what an appraiser gave me as replacement value was different and higher than what I received, I felt he gave me a fair price for my pieces and the experience and his time and expertise was very much appreciated by me! I would definitely recommend. I met with the owner Moran and he did not make me feel uncomfortable or pressured to do anything. I didnt take him up on his offer on my diamond earrings and he was so calm and nice about it. He did however, end up buying some silver I had. I had to wait 8 months to leave this review (waiting on my divorce to finalize) but I knew I would leave a review the moment I could! The place looks nice and the owner is friendly but not a good place to sell good. He only weighed and measured the conductivity to validate the quality. He said that the bracelet we were selling even though it was 60+ Grand of 18K gold should be valued way below is real value just because its a bracelet. Go figure. Went to another dealer and got 60% more than he offered. Looks like a reputable place but not good offer.
Moran was very down to earth and yet serious. If you are looking for a conversational atmosphere, he will adapt to that. If you want, on the other hand, a more impersonal/business atmosphere, he will adapt to that. Although I did not shop around for the best price, Moran explained his pricing method in detail and ensured me that, even if I were to get a better deal, the difference would be minor. He was happy to inform me about how to get the best deal elsewhere if I did want to shop around: take nothing less than x for reasons a and b and if from a trustworthy buyer you can get more than what I can offer, then take that offer--I would (no hard feelings). Will definitely do business again with M. I. TRADING!

I took some gold pieces I inherited from grandma, not only he pays for the gold but also for the stones in it.
