Austin is real sad when it comes to the number of beauty supply stores around the city, but even sadder when it comes to the inventory at those few stores. But this one, I’ve found, is the best so far. Still not like the ones you’ll find where black people are plentiful, but it’ll do.

I’d give this place no stars if that was allowed. Today I went in the store with my two daughters around 4:00 pm.As I walked in I noticed the original older lady that I see often when I visit this store. I smiled at her and started teasing my daughter about keeping arms length distance.I then asked the cashier about premium lashes that’s when a younger lady started spraying Lysol. I asked the young lady if she could spray some near me and I walked near the mist. Laughing I returned to the lash stand where I was asked to leave the store. I asked the young lady why I was being kicked out her response was” You don’t look like you like to shop here”... We have the right to refuse service. I complied without further incident.I sent one of my friends to the store 20 min later to inquire as to why I was asked to leave the young lady lied and said I was using profanity and had an attitude.The only attitude being displayed was this young ladies inability to conduct herself in a professional manner. I encourage the women of my community to NOT do business where you aren’t respected. This was a humiliating experience for me as I am not the type to cause scenes. Sorry Kings Mart, you just lost a loyal customer. Teach your staff the difference between an angry customer and a mom playing with her own teen daughters. Nevertheless, myself nor my children will ever step foot in a business that has to lie to cover the fact that they themselves was in the wrong.

I can always depend on these ladies from the owner and her employees to help me with all of my ethnic hair needs that keep me looking fresh and beautiful. Being from another city I knew no where to go and was sent to Kings Beauty. Thank you ladies for always being professional and pleasant!

Nice supply but some of the Asian women get a little annoying following you around and being weird. The black lady that works there is excellent. She helps- she is right there when you need her without being weird like the other ladies. It is on the east side so 🤷🏼🤷🏽

Service was then admirable. Hair product purchased not of good quality. Horse hair for real.😠😠

This is a very reliable place to get hair products, especially at a last minutes notice. However due to its greatness they do have small walking places but I love the store anyway.

You cant go wrong at Kings Beauty Supply. They have EVERYTHING in this store. The staff are all friendly and eager to assist you with your shopping needs, or answer your questions. You can find all types of hair and the sales are phenomenal. Located in East Austin in a location with plenty of parking.

Ive been coming here for years. Im sad that its not open on sundays , thats when i do my hair and always the day i need something. It smalll and packed with hair. Small products selection to pick from. The women the work there ive never had a problem with. Ive read comments about them watching people around the stroy. Well when so many people steal from you. But not bad for a quick stop.

They have great products, but the place is very crowded with products which leaves little space to walk.They do good business, they just need to utilize their space in a way thats beneficial for both the customers and themselves. I really dislike bumping into products/people in order to shop.

This is the only hair store thats closest to me Im forced to shop there the people who work there are little crazy thats really all I have to say about that

As someone who works there i would like to say it is small and crowded, which does suck, but we do what we can. Id also like to say that people say we follow you around like you are stealing? We have cameras so any suspicion will be checked over there. We are not rasic we honestly want to help, and it might seem like we are, but theyre many people who do steal so we need to make sure it doesnt happen. Im not saying because people are African Americans is the reason they steal Im just saying people can be mean and due so.I hope everyone can have a pleasant time shopping and that they get the help they need.

I will not do business here anymore, and Ive thing black women have to understand is we really are who fuel the weave industry. We allow foreigners to come into our neighborhood, we are treated like we carry stolen credit cards or we all steal, then look at as if you disgusts them, then get scared with us when we check you and show some education and niggerism at the same time, you women really do not need to spend money at this place, they consider you a dollar....
