I own a Tesla Model X. All of the places I called or drove to would or could not do a wheel alignment on this vehicle. Tesla was booked for the next three weeks. I called Luxury Auto and they said it was an ordeal to do but they would and gave me a expected charge. More than any alignment I have ever had done, but at least they could do it. They gave me a loaner car and started work. The car was done two days later with a video showing the final alignment numbers. They were professional, friendly, quick, honest and completed this task for less than their quoted number. I would absolutely use them again and I think it was worth the money. I love this car and it drives even better now that they have done the alignment.

If I could give no stars I would. Please do not do business here. Our vehicle was badly damaged and parted out during the month they had our vehicle for hail damage repair. They outsourced our hail damage repair to a third party who has 1star reviews and had been in business for 5 months (unbeknownst to us) our car was returned with a dead battery, sub oar hail repair, stereo and Navigation dash gashed and next to the gear shifter, one of our TVs was broken out of its casing, sideview mirrors had touch ups and paint chips that were not there when we dropped the vehicle off, the tint on the drivers side was damaged the ceiling panel was dirty and scratched up, our blinker light cover was broken. The list goes on.My vehicle is a 2019 Gx 460 the type of damages that it incurred were reckless.When immediately brought it to their attention they directed us to the third party, then they agreed to fix the damages. After another month, Today, we had scheduled an appointment with the owner to see the vehicle, he did not show up nor did anyone contact us. They said he had a family emergency, we said no problem we will reschedule with him. Thats when all their demeanor changed they refused to reschedule us with the owner threatened to call the police if we used the loaner and it was clear that they decided they were done even if our vehicle wasnt completely and properly repaired.After deciding to go a different route to resolve this issue.My husband and I went back in to pick up the vehicle even though we knew it was not completed. They claimed we owed them way more money then I was aware of, and it was clear they didnt feel the need to hear why or explain that to us. They increased the amount due, would not allow us to speak with the owner, gave us bogus invoices, so after going back and forth we said fine we will just pay and leave, thats when they demanded it be paid in cash they refused to accept our card payment ( im not kidding I cant make this up)We had to call 911 and have APD out they were shocked at how ridiculous this was unfortunately they couldnt do anything. They made us go outside with the officer, accused us of trespassing and would not give us our still damaged vehicle even though we were willing to pay them their inflated quote. So guess what, we paid in cash to receive our vehicle back without it being completely fixed. This situation is still ongoing I wouldnt wish this experience on anyone, Please, please avoid this place they are not Luxury it is quite the opposite. Everyone that works there is involved too, its scary and sad to think how many people they have done this to, just read all the reviews about selling people lemons. Stay away trust me.

Luxury Auto works is extremely professional. They went above and beyond to make me a happy customer. The Service is truly outstanding. The work on my car was above satisfactory. They provided a complimentary car for me while my car was being fixed which was a huge plus. They didnt just tell me what was wrong with my car, they actually took the time to make live videos and pictures and thoroughly explained in the video what was causing each problem. They fixed my vehicle in a timely manner while providing great customer service. Ill be bringing my car here in the future.

FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO WORK ON YOUR CAR. YOU WILL BE HIT WITH THE SAME PROBLEM THEY “FIXED” A MONTH FROM THEN, WITH A NEW BIG PRICE TAG. $ The front desk and managers are very friendly. The issue I had was with their mechanical team. We bought our 2013 GMC Denali from them about 2 1/2 years ago and have taken our truck in for repairs multiple times. I trusted them. Unfortunately about a month ago our A/c went out and we took it into their shop for repairs. This was the second time we had to take our car in for A/c problems. They “fixed” our car rather fast for about 900$. It was working okay. I thought it could be blowing more cool so I gave them a call that day and someone on their team told me it was texas and it’s normal for the ac not to work as well during the these hot months. I don’t know anything about cars so that actually made sense to me. Now I feel taken advantage of. Not even a month later our A/c is extremely hot! The ac was doing the same thing as when we dropped off the car for repairs. It was miserable so I called to let them know. At this point I’m a little frustrated because i paid them almost 900$ not even a month ago. We take the car in. They diagnose all new things and quote us 1,300. My car is doing the exact same thing as when we dropped it off the first time so this was a big surprise! They had to have found these things out the first time around. I get you can’t make everyone happy as you have stated on other reviews but at least do the work right the first time. So disappointed. Needless to say we will not do business with them anymore.

I went in to have my LR serviced. The staff greeted me promptly without a wait. Frank my service advisor was very professional and knowledgeable, he helped me with some questions we had and recommended which maintenance service was needed based on my mileage and service history that he pulled right up on his computer. He offered a loaner vehicle which was nice and sent me a video update of the service being performed as well as what to look out for in the future. I highly recommend checking out luxury auto works in Austin. You won’t be disappointed and I won’t be going anywhere else for my service and repairs. Thank you for getting my vehicle back to me quickly all washed and vacuumed. Five star service!

My car needed its 55k service, and Luxury Auto Works is 1 mile from my house. They gave me a quote online and I took the car in the next day. While performing the work they found damage to the lower rocker arms, and sent me a video showing where the damage was. Having a video makes it so much easier to understand whats going on. I asked if my extended warranty would cover the repair, and Dwain (the service advisor) offered to call the warranty company. The repair was covered so they kept my car overnight and did the repairs and a four-wheel alignment the next day. The whole thing was easy and painless, a bit less than the dealer would charge, and my car rides like a dream. Im happy to have a quality repair shop so close to my neighborhood.

Very strange that my bad review got removed, I wonder how many others were? I bought a car online through Tyler who sent me a car with a broken windshield. Had to take him to court to get them to pay for it. Won in small claims and dealership was also reprimanded by Texas Dept of Motor Vehicles for the way they handled the sale of my car. DO NOT buy a car from these people unless you are there in person. People like this give used car dealers a bad rap.8/6/21Again he rejects any responsibility for trying to get over on me. The almost 10 year old vehicle is a 2013 Mercedes S550 that I paid $26,000.00 for. You would think it would not come with a broken windshield. The dealership was reprimanded by the State of Texas. Tyler also fails to answer why my previous bad review was removed. Look elsewhere for a reputable dealership.

I found the GLE350 that I was looking for at an agreeable price at Luxury Auto Works. The entire long distance process was handled by Chris Skinner. He was so friendly and professional and helped make the entire process worry free. Excellent customer service!He has also checked back with me after the sale to see if I am still happy with my purchase. And I am!!!The finance guy Tyler was also very helpful despite having an emergency of his own, he took the time to personally call me!! Make sure that the vehicle you’re buying from here is a 1 of 1 or else take your business somewhere else, they start off with a great customer service and a friendly welcome but thats just to secure your money and nothing else. This car buying process was so incredibly easy. I want to thank Cullen, Michael, and Luxury Auto Works for an absolutely amazing experience!! I went in knowing a few cars I wanted to look at. They were so warm and welcoming right off the bat. Test drove the cars I wanted to look at. They did not try to do the salesman thing and try to push me to look at other cars I wasn’t interested in. They gave me an EXCELLENT value for my trade, lay out all my options clearly and precisely, and let me make the best decision for me. I recently purchased an E Class Mercedes from Luxury Auto Works on N Lamar. First of all, the whole staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. But this review is to call out someone in particular- Michael Tyler Pelham. I also work in sales, in a different industry, but I know very well what it takes to be a skilled professional in this business. I showed up on a whim to test drive the vehicle, just to get a feel for things, and had no intention of purchasing that day. Tylers knowledge of the brand, the model, and more importantly than anything navigating the pros and cons of THE PAPERWORK options... was incredibly impressive. He was a numbers ninja. And I wasnt sitting around waiting either. It took him minutes to calculate a variety of options for me, print out the evidence, walk me through it, and the pros and cons of each option (including upgrades like tint and warranty etc). He knew everything like the back of his hand. For this reason, I was able to find options that were perfect for me that day. He was even helpful enough to do product training before I left, and follow up with me via text that night.As for the business- I got a GREAT value for my trade in, a great price well under KBB value for the vehicle, and had a great experience that only took a couple hours from start to finish. I am so happy with my beautiful new car, and I appreciate all the knowledge and hard work Tyler displayed to get me in that vehicle.

Sent my VW to get an oil change and my check engine cleared. My advisor Frank was super helpful and the mechanics were very informative and concise. My vehicle was taken care of in a timely manner and they even detailed the outside for free! I would definitely recommend this place to anybody who has a European vehicle and doesn’t want to deal with dealership mechanic gimmicks!

The entire team is very courteous and friendly.They always communicate very well and on a timely manner. I was referred here a year ago. The owner discussed all facts about the car and fully took responsibility to take care of me and my car. I trust him and his team fully. It’s not the cheapest but it is not the dealership services outrageous prices. However, trust goes a long way.I have recommended several peers and friends to Luxury Auto Works.I didn’t give the five starts not because is their work but their loaner cars could be a little better kept but it is a loaner car and they don’t charge extra to use it... so I guess it’s ok.

A truly professional and courteous staff. I was visiting from out if town when my traction control warning light came on in my 26 year old Jaguar. The staff encouraged me to come straight in where I was welcomed with fresh hot coffee and left 30 minutes later with the light off and the car running perfectly all at no charge. Where else do you get service like that?

I would say that Luxury Auto is above and beyond any repair facility or dealership in Austin. Friendly, knowledgeable, professional - they cover it all. The facility itself looks like a dealership (they sell pre-owned) and all the mechanics are ASE Certified giving you the same quality service of the dealer but at a much lower price. Need a car while yours is being repaired? No problem. On my 3 visits I had a Mercedes, a Jaguar & a BMW. The place spotless, the staff super qualified and friendly. Why would you even consider going elsewhere? Thanks to Eric for the most incredible service Ive ever had!!

Found a car on Truecar that was they best deal, they had it. Checked availability, they got back to me, set up an appointment on a half hours notice and we were in a test drive within 3 minutes of arriving. Everyone there was on the ball, super friendly and very accommodating. The whole experience seemed pretty fast to me but they were apologizing for taking so long so I suppose it could have been even faster.Im not really a car guy but there are some jaw-dropping vehicles to check out while you wait and the facilities are clean, modern and peaceful. I really cant recommend these guys highly enough.We came for the price, well be back because of the experience.

Luxury Auto Works has some fantastic quality car offerings. I came in with a difficult trade in and buying situation and met Tyler. Tyler was very calm and listened to us. He was patient with us and our little ones as we tried out car seats and checked out every feature of the vehicle. He set us up for a test drive while he worked on financing. When we came back and knew we wanted the car he was ready to finish up the deal. Literally never had an easier, more peaceful car buying experience. Cant recommend this place enough. They also sent me a video of showing additional problems they found that will need repair. Saw their ad on Facebook Marketplace about a BMW. Called before I drove the two hours and the GM verified the car was there. What a nice and pleasant place to do business with. I’m glad a reliable auto service company is near my home. My brakes were sinking and 60k mile maintenance was done along with fixing a leaky transmission gasket. All was done in a timely manner while I used a loaner car. The dvd audio and phone connect issues were resolved by their tech expert, Larry, who knew what settings to reset since the throttle body had been replaced/battery disconnected by a different service center prior. As a satisfied customer, I will definitely call Luxury Auto for my next service needs. I

My friend recommended to get my car serviced at LAW. I live in Dallas. I drove to Austin and they did a fantastic job. Driving out from Arizona, my Range Rover developed a fault. Found Luxury Auto on the web and took it to them. They diagnosed the problem and also a leaking water pump. I left it there for them to fix and they gave me a loaner. Everything was fixed by the next day.I was very impressed with their service.

I took my Smart Car to Luxury Auto Works yesterday July 24th 2020 to replace a cooling fan. During the process there was a disagreement with a issue that surfaced during the repair. The manager at the time Dwain and I disagreed on how we should proceed with the issue. In the end Dwain and Luxury Auto stepped up to the plate and took care of me and my vehicle. The cooling fan was repaired and more! Plus the 3 year 36,000 mile warranty puts my mind at rest for a while. The price they charge is right on point for the service they provide. I highly recommend and will gladly take my vehicle back in the future.

After my last visit to Audi South where I had to wait a month for basic annual service and horrible communication, I was looking for a shop that would actually care. LAW got me in right away, gave me a loaner and performed Audis recommended 35K Major Maitenaince schedule in one day. The dealer would still be twiddling their thumbs. Very professional, clean showroom and shop. If youre tired of having to wait for service and just being a sheep for your dealer than LAW is your answer!

From the first phone call I made to find out if I could bring in my Volkswagen Passat, I was offered a loaner car and that I could come in at my convenience... when I brought my car in it was super easy to check in with Jami they gave me a loaner car immediately filled out a small amount of paperwork ask questions about my issue then when they came outside they took a complete video of my car from front to back for liability.About an hour after I left I received a text message from Dwain, Who informed me that he was my service advisor and he would keep me posted of what was happening how the timing was working out and anything that needed to be done to my car before they did any work. To my surprise the technician actually took a video of everything that he did everything he saw under my car, which was amazing because I found out that there was issues that had just been worked on by another company.. so after sending me the video and a quote Dwain called me to find out how much work I intended to have done.. and how long it would take to complete..everyone that I dealt with was super professional... and I already made it clear that they would be my choice for any type of mechanics on my Volkswagen in the future...

I needed an oil change for my 2017 Smart and this is one of the only places in town that services Smarts. I didnt have an appointment but called ahead and walked in at 11:20, and was told that LAW would be able to get my car into the garage right away due to availability. I decided to stay and wait since changing the oil shouldnt take all day, right?I waited for an hour before an employee came over at 12:20 and told me that the new employee at the front desk had forgotten to tell the techs that my car was ready to be worked on, and it would take another hour....okay, accidents happen. Whatever.Im late for work at this point, so they offer me a complimentary rental, which was super kind of them. The new employee that forgot about me was in charge of getting my information, checking me out, and getting my rental. I have to email her my insurance policy, and verify the email address with her twice before sending it. We wait a few minutes and no email has arrived so I verify the address for a third time, and it turns out she had given me the incorrect address twice. Great. She had to be reminded to get my credit card information, as well.A rental from this decade would have been nice, but it got me to work safe and soundly so I cant complain. Except for the fact that I found a customers information from July in the console. The paperwork had his phone number, address, insurance policy #, everything on it. So it seems they dont check the rentals between customers.When I went in to get my car back at 6:20, I had to go through the sales department since service was closed. No problem. Except.. I was allowed to accidentally walk out of the building with the rental key still in my hand. I ran back in to return the key and check some paperwork. The sales rep had handed me both copies of my receipt, one highlighted and definitely meant for him, so I signed and returned it to him.This was a mess of a situation, all for a $175 oil change. I hope everyone was just having a bad day and I want to give them another chance, but oof.

This was made very easy, drop off, pick up a loaner and they called with maintenance suggestions and the cost. Also sent pictures of the problems. They called the next day when it was finished, I paid over the phone and they dropped my car off and picked theirs up. I would definitely recommend them!

My wife and I just bought a vehicle from Luxury Auto Works and it was one of the best car buying experiences weve ever had!You walk in and immediately see a very clean office. From the office you can see the inside of the service department while they are working on cars. Its the cleanest repair shop Ive seen.Cullen and Tyler worked with us and went above and beyond to make our experience great! They were prompt with their responses, nobody was pushy, and no hard selling. They genuinely care about you. Ive rarely if ever seen great customer service like this. I wish all places were like Luxury Auto Works.We got window tinting installed so they put us in a beautiful loaner for a couple of days.We came specifically for the car we bought, but they have a good selection of luxury cars. They are also a repair shop specializing in luxury cars.Well definitely go back for all our services. Buy a car or get it serviced there and Ill bet youll walk away amazed!

I took my Porsche 911 here for required service. I made an appointment with a requested loaner car to use while mine was in the shop. Honestly, maybe it was my imagination but it just seemed to run much better and felt great after it was serviced. I was driving their Mercedes 4-cylinder so maybe getting back in my car skewed my view but I was very pleased. Owning a Porsche you just understand that it is going to cost you $$$ even for Oil Changes with the Oil Filter. I also like a new air filter as well as a new cabin filter when I change my oil. I also had an issue with my Passenger side window which they repaired as if it was brand new. I have seen many ads for this place on both my phone & Computer(s) so opted to try them in place of the dealership. I never regretted my choice and fully intend to make this my shop in the future. I went ahead and had all my fluids changed as well as my oil change. I was not pressured nor was I upsold on these services. I chose to have them done because I now know they are fresh and I will never have to change them again. Also had the spark plugs done so, basically, I am done as far as any fluids for Life. Yes, this was a long review but I was very pleased with the service from start to finish. Extremely professional, they even send videos of everything they do. Amazing!!!

There are only a few places in Austin that will work on a Smart car other than the dealership. You would think that a place called Luxury Auto Works is the last place you would be able to find service for a micro economy car...quite the contrary.I was greeted with respect and kindness by Stephanie at the front desk, helped me get set up for service, and made me feel at home as if I where a returning customer. Justin, the service manager, handled the needs of my car as if I had come in with a true luxury car along with the those that adorned the maintenance bays of the shop.I really appreciated the time and level of expertise they brought to to my time of need and I do feel that the overall costs were right on par. I would recommend Luxury Auto Works to anyone I meet and I will definitely be back the next time my little Smart need repair.Lynn Stout

I called this morning to see if I could get in last minute for an oil change. I’m driving out of town for the holidays and I had to get my oil changed, last minute, and they gladly accommodated me.It took about 2 hours. I waited comfortably with my dog in their waiting area. It’s very chill with name brand drinks and clean bathrooms. Actually, the whole facility was clean, inside and out (including the car service area).The staff was friendly. When I walked in I was quickly greeted, was informed of the process (first timer) and directed to the waiting area.When I got in my car, it felt like new. You know the feeling of good service in your car.Anyway, I will return again and not last minute.

Luxury Auto Works charged my bank card as a debit card and bypassing my PIN by using the chip reader instead of swiping the magnastrip for credit card charge and thus protection under credit card law. To access my PIN and refuse to process my card as a credit card for which I can and have, and without disclosure nor consent, is FRAUD. After I informed Justin Strouse of this, he said that he did not want my business anymore. He is not the only business that knows how to work on old Mercedes. Buyer beware. All Rights Reserved.

I will be traveling across the country soon, so I wanted to make sure my vehicle was in peak condition for the trip. They checked my car and gave me a list of must do items and suggested work to keep my car in good shape. I told them to what I wanted done now and what I would do in the near future. Give this place a try - you wont be disappointed.I was interested in an alternative to the Mercedes dealership and found Luxury Auto Works. I gleaned what I could from the website and paid a visit to the facility before committing to using them for my upcoming B service.I was impressed with the cleanliness of the customer waiting area and the panoramic window with a direct view into the garage area. The place shows very well.The price for the services were less than that of the dealership, but not by much. Seriously, we are talking about a difference of less than $200, but thats fine. They certainly arent a charity and I want the comfort of a job well done.I was very pleased with the service and the additional vehicle inspection, with photos of the areas that might need attention (bushings, transmission mount, etc).Ill definitely be back for additional maintenance service or repair work.

Excellent work. The facilities are clean, comfortable and beautiful. The staff are very friendly and professional. I was able to get on the floor with the mechanic as he walked me through everything needed to fix my car. He helped me understand the issue and what it would take to fix it. When the repair went longer than expected, using the complimentary loaner car was such a huge help! The process was quick and painless. I pay a little more here than other places, but its worth it for this type of service and knowing Im getting the best care for the car. My only complaint is that it is so far north. They have two north locations. I really wish they had one for us South Austin peeps. Its a bit of a hike for me, but when other nearby mechanics cant get me in until next week and I need a repair ASAP, its worth the drive. Thanks again!

BEWARE! Avoid these scam artist at all cost!!! They pay for fake reviews while scamming their customers out of thousands. I took my car in because it was having trouble starting. They replaced the battery and charged me thousands. A few days later my car wouldnt start. Sent it back and paid for a second battery. Got my car back and a day later it wouldnt start again. Frustrated I took it back it and yet again they charged me thousands. Even more money than before since they aparently had to examine the whole car. Recieved the car back and one of the tires was flat and the audio system didnt work. Then I took my car to a different place to replace my tire and dropped it off at my audio place. They too had a problem starting the car then went on explaining how my mechanic at luxory autoworks had messed up the electrical system. A CAR AUDIO SHOP WAS ABLE TO FIX WHAT MULTIPLE MECHANICS AND SUPERVISORS AT LUXORY AUTO WORKS COULDNT FIX. Havent had an issue since. Luxory Auto Works is a scam operation not a legitimate company. Dont get tricked into paying thousands for absolutely nothing. (Update: They cant even keep track of their own customers. They had trouble finding my account every time I had to bring my car back in and now they still cant find my account. What a mismanaged joke! The fact that you dont remember/have record of this situation means im not the only person youve scammed...)

I have been coming here for all my auto needs since 2015 , this guys not only know what they are doing , but they are as transparent as they come ... before finding LAW i encounter a bunch of shady mechanics that are only after your hard working money ...this guys will send you a video of detailed information on what they think it should be done to your car without pressure , you decide what services to do and decline the ones you dont want them to do , simple as that .they also offer loaner vehicles , wifi, and a lounge area with computers and all sorts of refreshments if you want to wait there ...did i mention that every time i have come the shop is spotless ? this guys take auto repair to a different level without the high price tag ...oh and lastly i pass at least 20 shops before them , still worth the drive for piece of mind ...cant wait till they open their south location !!! way to go LAW!

I was very disappointed with Luxory Auto Works. I was given an estimate for disc brake and rotor repair to compare with my dealerships proposed charges and Luxory verbally quoted approximately $120 less. When I got my bill due to all the extra add-on charges there was no difference between the two. Next time I’ll stay with my dealership they were more upfront with true cost.

I have had several experiences with Luxury Auto works--and I will say this, if they dont have the car you desire, they will find the car you want. and it may take time, but theyll send you similar or you may wait it out until they find THE car. They know their cars as well, so if you cannot find one within budget, they can run some numbers and show you a great comparison and Michael knows his stuff, has the resources and is all around a great guy not trying to just sell you would recommend!

It’s rare that I give a perfect score to any business unless they do what they say they can do. Not only did this business fix my car in a quick time frame on a holiday, but they also were reasonably priced and informed me of everything that needed to be done to my car in detail not just a glance over that you would get from a casual mechanic. They provided me with pictures in a detailed breakdown of the vehicles parts as well as an interactive informative webpage about my car. They didn’t force me to get parts that I didn’t need as well as remained in a very reasonable budget so that I could come back and get things done in stages. Overall I would recommend this place even over the Lexus dealership.
