H-Mart is a good place to taste Japanese, Chinese and Korean food all in one place. One side is a food court while the other side has an Asian Super Market. It has a few other shops, hair Salon, Ice cream shop, no tip bar, bakery and a stage. I’m guessing for live music. Ordered a little bit of everything to try out. My stand out favorites were the Korean Sweet & Spicy fried chicken and Korean beef rib soup. YUMMY! Just went this past Sunday and I already want to back. My daughter prey much ate my soup, because it was that good.The overall ambiance is great and I like that they give you a pager to let you know when your food is ready. As it allows you to go order at different food locations.

We had been to one of the H Marts in Houston about 6 years ago and for some reason we’d not gone the one here in Austin since moving here 4 years ago. So we set out yesterday to see how this one compared. I remember a LOT of live fish tanks in the one in Houston but not so many here. In spite of that, this one has a huge selection of Asian products. We spent over 2 hours just going up and down the aisles. Prices were much like H-E-B on items I remember seeing there. We bought a few things and then went to the food court for lunch. Again such a big selection. We chose the Oh K-Dog. Very unique take on the corn dog. Word of advice, it’s really cold in the main part of the store due to large number of open bin fresher units. Saw lots of shoppers wearing sweaters. If you like Asian cuisine you’ll love H Mart.

This grocery and food court is easily the most unique and tasty Asian market in Austin. I love this spot, and the Egg sandwiches in the food court in particular are beyond delicious.

One of the biggest (and probably nicest) H-Marts I’ve been too! Huge selection of products from various cuisines, a well-rounded food court, and their produce section is stacked. If you’re looking for hearty mangos or Korean pears, look no further!

The everything Asian Market - there are aisles and aisles of products from most asian countries. And a big size produce area serving asian vegetables and fruits as well. The seafood area is huge too - with a wide selection of fish and other seafood you wont find in your average grocery store. There is also a french cafe and eatery area with a big seating place.Everything looks very clean, and organized. Loved it

What a cool place.I’d passed H Mart countless times and never had any inkling to go inside. The brick exterior and the big red H, didn’t pique my interest.My boyfriend suggested we go there on our weekly date night and I have to admit, I was bit underwhelmed by the suggestion. Bring the supportive girlfriend, I went in to H Mart in spite of my reservations.I have to admit, the name H Mart doesn’t really sell you on how cool this place is once you step inside. Yes there’s a market but there’s so much more... This place was filled with culture. Asian culture.There were tons of food vendors to choose from. There was k-pop playing in the background. There was even a stage for live performances. Not to mention the Asian grocer, which had everything you could think of at amazing prices.I am now an H Mart convert. Check it out and you’ll be too.

Oh my goodness this place is AMAZING!! Anything you could hope for when looking for Asian foods! The produce looked wonderful, so many varieties including vegetables Id never seen before or had only seen on cooking shows. The variety of products, it was just overwhelming. I could spend a month in there and not see everything. The staff was super helpful. They have a fish market and a food court. I honestly could write a book in praise of this store and still barely scratch the surface. So nice to have this available in N Austin also. Go to H-Mart, you wont regret it!

This is a great place to pick up all your must have Korean, Japanese and more products! Plus the food court and bakery and beauty make it a one stop shop!!

Lots of authentic Korean selections and an enormous variety of foods, spices, and products. Every time that I am up in Austin, H Mart is a definite stop of mine - how I wish there were an H Mart here in San Antonio! That would be the day.I could go on and on about the quality of foods here! Highly recommend to drop if youre ever in Austin - Covid-19 precautions are definitely up to par here and management provides gloves to wear before grabbing a shopping cart! Major plus. Great service and welcoming staff!Amazing selection of pastries!

I had this awesome Spicy Pork Udon from one of the vendors at the food court. It was definitely delicious & satisfied my craving for authentic Asian meals. I went shopping at H-Mart because I wanted some frozen Quail. The HEB or Asian grocery stores didnt have it at all in San Antonio. Man, I wish there was an H-mart in San Antonio. Please open up one soon in San Antonio or think about it for the future. Your customers down there are waiting your arrival.

This place is a chefs dream! The assortment of fresh vegetables & fruits, the fresh seafood, the variety of frozen, canned and packaged food. AMAZING! I usually buy from the Saturday sampling tables, too. The attendants are great at suggesting prep methods & paring.

Always love H-Mart and their selection of pan-Asian foods, unique Asian vegetables and fish counter. This one has a good food court, barber shop, bakery and some retail (clothes and make-up). Would have given 5-stars but giving 4 since pricing is significantly higher than the nearby HEB which carries many Asian staples (rice, beans/lentils, spices etc) of excellent quality at lower prices

There were a lot to say for this place but I will just try to make it short. Great place to find food from some places. They have food court where they have delicious food to eat. Spacious parking lot, clean restrooms, great staffs (not all but most of them were).

Cashiers are stuck up in the supermarket. Grouchy and dont feel like they wanna be at work. They should be trained to be good in customer service. But the store is awesome. Food court is amazing

Excellent variety in vegetables and fish. Have every kind of Asian products. There is a price to pay for certain items but essentially located in Cedar Park. The food court is great in variety and it’s good to see the large Asian community come together.

Wow! Asian Market with everything. Vegetables were fresh. Fresh seafood and shellfish were available. Lots of cookware, Asian sauces, more kinds of rice and brands than I have ever seen in one place, all sorts of groceried, and a food court to try out authentic dishes. It was quite an experience. It is also a very busy place.

Fresh produce and amazing selection of Korean food + goods from other Asian countries. Cant not stop at the food court for some oh-k-dog. Also love Narrow Street Cafe and the fried chicken.

They have a great selection of Korean and even some Japanese and Chinese food and products. I cant find much to buy at American groceries stores, but its dangerous for my wallet here. Its also very clean and has a food court. Love H-Mart.

Poor customer phone service.Asked kimchi price on 9/10/21 around 5:20pm, who answered the phone said “I don’t have a time to go check the price.” Keep saying “I have a customer in front of me” so I said, “I understand, why don’t you ask other employees go check the price for me” she said “No I don’t want to”I asked what’s your name, she said “I don’t want to tell my name” and just hung up.Wow. surprised.What a poor customer service.You need to better educate your employees especially who work at the customer service area.

We will be more than happy to go back to this location. They have food stalls as well as places for people to sit and rest between shopping in the actual market area.The food stalls range from different types of Asian cuisine.The market itself has so many wonderful ingredients to make any dish you could want to make. As well as some premade delicious goodies.

Love H mart they have all my needs for hard to find ingredients. I also love bringing people here for the first time. While it is usually packed if you go on the weekend everyone is polite and its always a great shopping experience.

Found everything I came for. Such a wide variety of food options. Their fresh meat and seafood section was amazing. Even their sashimi were wide selection and very reasonable in price. They also have a good selection of household items like bowls, sake sets, chopsticks, face products, and so forth. I will be back for sure. I wish there were more locations. I think there are only two in the whole state of Texas. Thats not nearly enough.

This place is very lively and entertaining. The food court had very tasty options and the bakery very tasty pastries. We almost didnt have enough money for all the stuff we wanted to buy. I will definitely be coming back here again. I do recommend the Samanco ice cream sandwiches, the strawberry ones were so good!

Was recommended to try this place by one of my wifes co-workers since I am always asking for best Asian foods to try. Well, it was no disappointment. Found out I actually like the food and pastries. I. Absolutely. Adore. This. Store! It is impeccably maintained and everything is so organized and neat; easy to navigate. They have such a huge variety of Asian products and so many freshly made ones too, not just frozen or non-perishables. It is literally the equivalent of a small H‑E‑B but stocked with Asian products. This is a must visit place, especially if you’re at all interested in genuine experiences with foreign culture.

This place is fabulous... it has a great fresh seafood section and meat section and their prices are very reasonable....and the food court is one of the best Ive seen if you enjoy oriental cuisine!!!! I could eat there every day if I lived there!!!!

Everything Asian in one store. They have a fresh seafood market and their vegetable section is amazing. Im definitely going to go back. They also have a bakery and cakes plus, a full line of Korean skincare and makeup. You have to go there to appreciate the extensive selection.

I love H Mart! I shop here regularly, because I can find all my Asian food, produce, and specialty needs. I also love the food court, where theres lots of variety, and $2 beers.

Produce section could use a little love, flies everywhere and less than stellar produce, but everything else is awesome. Nice to have a sorta super center nearby locally with a bunch of stuff that you can’t find anywhere else. Staff has always been helpful too!

Great Asian market. Fantastic place to go for fresh and interesting food, including sushi! Seriously, their sashimi selection is fresher than some of the sushi restaurants in town! Their produce is amazingly fresh as well. (Try a Korean pear if you haven’t yet- it’s the superior pear.) They get new items in all the time, and are always well-stocked.

This is an amazing experience when it comes to markets! Very oriented, very fresh and lots of offerings. Shopping at H-Mart is always such calming experience. The music always lifts me up and the great selection of fruits and veggies keeps us coming back week after week.

I felt like I was on vacation in Asia.The produce selection is outstanding, and probably the most diverse in Austin.They have a bounty of new foods to discover.I bought a Horchata flavored snow cone that was quite heavenly, and highly recommended.One thing they could improve upon is I didnt notice much organic anything; other than dairy.

Great selection of asian food.Watch out for fresh cucumbers. Several times i had to throw away almost the entire package just two days later cos cucumbers will be rotted.

Customer service in the sushi department is the worst. Did not see what I wanted on the shelf with the few remaining available. Noticed they just made some more so I asked to see if I can grab a few from them. Did not even want to talk to me, just keep pointing at what was on the shelf. Lost my business.

This location is always well stocked, and the staff is efficient and helpful. Even the customers are more polite. It may be a little cramped for space in the aisles, but people do a good job of not blocking things off. The selection is wide and prices are fair; definitely my favorite for fresh produce, especially.

Prices are high....food and grocery store. Definitely a chain type store. The food in the food court is horrible. As a Korean, Ive given it to so many tries but each time its just not good. Definitely not authentic.

Love how clean Hmart is and the variety of products/grocery. Perfect place to get groceries and treat yourself to a meal or pastry.

When I heard one of these opened up closer to me, I had to go. We took a 2 hour drive to see how it was, and we definitely werent disappointed. It had been open for only a month at this point so everything was still nice and clean, hopefully they keep up with it. The prices were great. They had all kinds of sales going on with all kinds of brands that we like. The produce selection was nice too, they had fruit and vegetables from all around the world and most of it seemed fresh. The seafood section was full of all kinds of various fish, shellfish, alive and frozen. They had a nice meat section too with butchers on hand.We ended up getting some of their fresh made Korean food that they make and package up. Then to the food court. The food court is about the size of the main Mart with all kinds of various eats and drinks. There was a live band and it was pretty hoppin. Prices were kind of high on a few of the things we got, but everything tasted good.My only complaint would be the narrow aisles. It was really hard navigating through the crowds of people. Maybe when the newness dies down, it will get a little better.

My FIRST visit wasn’t horrible it was different and quite moving in all the sense! It was chilly for me the no alcohol was kind of depressing but the food and smoothie made up for it!

Big opening!! Although it took long time to get in and too many people in, there were lots of things to see including fresh fishes. Interior is really fancy and cozy, and the food court is also very clean. Of course all of staff is very nice. I already LOVE this place. But I recommend to visit h mart at least after next week. It is too crowed now.

I wanted fish and they have quite a collection. I was looking for Indian Pomfret (paaplet in marathi, :-)) and i got it, wow.They are looking good nd cant wait to cook and eat (will update aboit taste after i do).Bit costly, but fine, considering its imported from India. After all, itsone of the delicacies nd favourite fish back in india.Also, while waiting made few videos of the fish collection, uploadin them.

Love this place. Want a choice of more than 2 types of mushroom? Or ramen? Or rice, or soy sauce, or noodle, or seafood, or dumpling? This is the place.

For all things Asian, this is the place to go. I shop here with my daughter from time to time just to experience different foods. In addition to trying foods I’ve never experienced, I also enjoy finding my favorite items like Oreos, KitKats or chips in a flavor I’ve never seen before. The produce, fish & meat departments are also well stocked with typical Asian items you won’t find in your mainstream grocery store. The only thing I don’t enjoy about shopping here are the really small isles. They only accommodate 1 cart moving in 1 direction which is never the case on a busy weekend shopping day. Go during the week if you can.

I used to live in Houston and have been to all the H-Marts there. I have to say the H-Mart here in Austin is the best H-Mart I have ever been too. Big food court, entertainment, nice little stores inside. Also, clean and organized, I can always find what I need easily.I love the grab and go food in the back of the store, Im always buying food from there. So delicious. I love that this H-Mart has a variety of products outside of Korean products. They have Chinese, Indian, Thai, etc. I pretty much come here for all my Asian cooking needs and more.

I love this place because there is awesome choice of sea food here. There are so many different types of fish. For fish foodie this store is heaven.

H Mart is a great place to grab fresh anything. If you want to branch out and try to make traditional Asian dishes, you can find a lot of inspiration just walking down isles. You want pork liver?! Why would you? But if youre looking for fresh liver, they got it here. The fresh seafood section in the back of the store is amazing. So much to choose from. If you havent been here and you like like Asian culture, please check H Mart out. Youll love it! Also, BBQ Bong and Cheese Bong lol

Had a very poor experience buying fresh fish . when we brought home some fresh pomfret and pan cooked it, it was evident that the fish was not fresh. The other issue was with the way the fish was cut. I had asked for one of the fish to be cut in slices and they made it into a mash. Will not recommend this place if you are looking for fresh fish!.

Flippin love this place! They have all you could ever want for your Korean and Asian market needs. I love the snack isle and the area designated for kimchi. The “food court” area is also a great spot to grab a bite to eat. At one point they had live music, given covid I am unsure if it has been brought back or if they’re suspending it for the time being. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Never been to an h Mart but its amazing! Great food market that can satisfy almost anybody. Grocery selection is spectacular and prices are great. Sea food and meat departments are better than anything I have ever seen. Live music every day of the week it looks like in food market and wine by the bottle! I might have been missing out the first 30 years of my life but i definitely wont be after today!
