I didnt find the book I was looking for, but I did find a different book that I absolutely had to have. The store clerks were helpful and friendly as always. No complaints!

Amazing customer service from Megan and Tara. I was looking for specific book, I walked around inside the store and can’t find it, see a lady with books oh her so I asked and she said , “ I’ll be happy to help, please follow me at front” ...To make it short...She goes straight to the computer , ask someone specific question to another lady name Tara.Then Megan keep searching , then she found the answer . She told me all detailed informations.. I was so happy with a wonderful customer service I received from both of them. Looking for a book. A rare find in a large mall. One part bookstore one part knickknacks. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the prices are definitely reasonable for what they have on hand. I found myself lost in a sea of knowledge that I was not upset about. Truly something to experience.

I love these stores have fan stuff like key chains, weird cool lamps and mini pranks and lots of books!

I loved it, went inside and saw all the manga and I was truly taken aback, so cool!

I take my kids here and they love it, so do I. I grew up with Borders and Barnes and Nobels in malls. I miss those stores and loved sharing the book shopping experience with my 2 youngest. So many great books, the employees are amazing and so helpful, kind and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend shopping here!

This place has everything, not just books..it has games, pop culture, funko pop etc...great place for gifts

They have some very creative gifts and at a competitive price. I looked up a few things online before buying and they had the lowest price in their store, though not everything. Still, if youre looking for a fun, creative gift at a reasonable price, this is the perfect place to go.

Its like a smaller Barnes and noble. Tons of books of several different genre, from sci-fi, fantasy, diy, childrens books to graphic novels. Along with that theyve also got a lot of miscellaneous items varying from mugs, smaller toys and plushies, figures, puzzles, board games to some small cute decor for your living space.

They have a wide selection of all kinds of books and the cashier was super friendly. Never had a bad experience there yet

Was a bit disappointed they only recieve shipment of their products certain days of the week. I was there for a exclusive product but they hadnt received it until the following day. It was a disappointment because I went there for that particular reason.

Im not much of a book lover, but BAM is an excellent book store with plenty of other cute merchandise as well. The store itself isnt very big, but their wide variety makes me feel like theyve got something for everyone.

Mall bookstores are going the way of the dinosaur. Fox Valley Mall used to have four bookstores, now there is only one. BAM occupies the area of one of the last bookstores. It might even be that bookstore because it is laid out the same way.The store has books arranged by age group and sub-divided by subject. Mostly paperbacks, but a few specially hard bound books published by the BAM printers. You could spend a long time browsing through the sections. It is sad that there are only a few bookstores like this one still in existence.Use it while it is still around.

Awesome place! Always take a stop here when I am looking for a present for someone. They certainly have some of those off items that you wouldnt expect. I agree with another reviewer, the prices are definitely a little higher however bookstores have to do what they have to do to thrive and there is nothing wrong with that. Staff is very hit or miss as far as friendly customer service goes. Stop in you wont regret it.

A quiet book store in the mall, next to Macys upstairs. Its not a bad book store had everything we where looking for. I got a Ray Bradbury book. Lots of short stories. Just finished The Toynbee Convector, its the first short story in the book, about a time traveler. And the second story Trapdoor, which will leave you never looking at your attic door the same again. Worth a look around if you want to step out of the bustling mall and into a story.

Got the discount card worth the 10% off my purchase and they had two items I was looking for and was not able to get during the Christmas season.

This store has a lot of stuff. I enjoy going there because the amount of different things they have (books, magazines, acetate records, action figures, comics, etc)

They have a lot of harry potter products and astrology based notebooks and supplies for the office. Its worth a look around

It was very nicely organized and laid out well. Their products were really cool and of you are a fan of anything big like Harry Potter youre sure to find something you like! Similar to Barnes and Noble in a good way.

Nice selection of items and reasonably priced. However, when a male worker who scolds my son for trying out a rocking horse which is for sale and my other son for flipping his water bottle, I question whether any of that really is affecting him, the store or if he just is not happy with his life. Figure it out dude. Youre doing it wrong..

The store itself was fine, but they asked to share info with some magazine company or whatever, felt kinda scammy to get buyers into subscriptions for magazines they dont really want

A fun store to browse. Im surprised by the variety of their selection as well as how they include items Im not used to finding at bookstores in prominent sections. Prices are competitive as well. Great place to bring a kid and find something to read.

Its the last bookstore in Fox Valley Mall. It could use more employees, or maybe I just went in at low tide.

I really love books stores. Strangely, every time I come here I end buying merch and not books. This visit was no exception. Not that I dont look at the books. If I was more local Id probably buy more books. They offer a reward program. Again, if I were more local I would do it. I walk out with 2 mugs, CAH bigger blacker box, and CAH expansion pack. Bought the box more affordable than other stores. I usually buy my unusual playing cards ( princess bride, labyrinth, etc.) there. This time I didnt see any playing cards.

Great bigger style book store. They sale not only books but also themed merchentdise. The staff is friendly an helpful and the store is clean and orderly. The books are well organized sections by category. It located within the Fox valley Mall.

I love this store for the fact it has anything this nerd can think of in terms of reading. It has manga it has comics, it has.....Harry Potter. There are so many other books this place provides that I do it no justice. It even has online ordering, I recommend this store anytime you need or want to pick up book.

Nerd paradise! I have yet to find another physical store with so many of my interests under one roof. Books, manga/light novels, games, toys, candy...BAM has all the things I like. The store is clean, organized, pleasant to look at, and quiet. 5/5, cant recommend enough

I had never been to this place before my decent trip, where I was in search of a Christmas gift. They have a TON of different things, very much like a Barnes and Nobel. Theyve got a large assortment of books, any kind you may want, as well as toys, games, puzzles, and much more. If youre looking for ideas to help pass time for a few evenings, youll definitely find something here thatll help.

Pretty cool books store. Its no Barnes and Noble, but its ok. The only flaw I can think of is there is lack of seating. I bought a Japanese book so far. The atmosphere is pretty chill (just needs chairs)

I get sales pitches and company policies about pushing paid memberships and whatever but 45 minutes is way too much. Havent had any other issues with the place, its awesome

Worst customer service Ive seen in over 30 years! I was in the store over 20 minutes and never greeted in any way. The empoyees were busy laughing together. During this time I picked out a couple items. Then I was down on my 4 year olds level trying to figure which books were best for him. Then the lady that seemed in charge, without making eye contact scolded us saying stand up there isnt room in here for that in this (currently empty) store. Yes, not a hello, can i help or sorry but ... just wow! Coldest I can ever remember being treated by another human. Great selection but horrible people work here. I left my items in the store and fled shocked.
