Excellent service superior knowledge of high class boats and the price is right wont take my boat anywhere else to get anything done to it . except Skagen marine you wont be disapionted .

After calling around and talking to people in the Jet industry it was clear that Skagen was a leader in the business but not an expert in the Aluminum Boat industry. I figured what would I rather have, an expert on pumps and motors or an expert on fishing hulls and fishing boat sales. I went down to Skagen first to look around. I found a clean shop, organized with nothing but Bad Ass jet boats all over. Tony and his brother were dialed and knew all about the various aluminum boats too. They pulled the motor the day I dropped it off and things went bad quick. Well bad for me as they diagnosed a motor with much more than just an oil pump. Long story short Skagen is a family run business that holds that family run style. Unfortunately while all this was taking place Tonys Father was seriously ill and in the hospital so I was expecting everything to take much longer and certainly understanding with the situation. Tony and his brother inlaw kept working away on boats while still taking care of family matters with good communication during the whole process.The boat is back together has 2 hours on a fresh build Pump and Motor and it is running great. obviously time will tell in terms of total quality and other issues but I am not super concerned after seeing how well the work was done and the caliber of work they do on all the boats there.So there you have it my Recommendation goes to Skagen Boats in Auburn.

BOUGHT A BOAT FROM HIM AND WAS TOLD THAT I CAN DROP A MOTOR IN AND GO AFTER I GOT THE BOAT HOME HAD ISSUES FROM DAY 1 !! FUEL TANKS NOT MOUNTED RIGHT WIRING SYSTEM WAS ALL HACKED HAD TO RE WIRE THE WHOLE BOAT FUELS SYSTEM TOOK A DUMP AS SOON AS I GOT IT RUNNING !! POP OFF LEAKED LIST JUST GOES ON AFTER I HAND WROTE A LETTER TO HIM TO TRY AND GET A LITTLE BIT OF COMPENSATION WAS TOLD TO BASICALLY GO POUND SAND !!! HES NOTHING LIKE HIS FATHER HES JUST BEING A BOAT BROKER AND ONLY CARES ABOUT HIS PROFIT MARGIN !!!
