Great service for propane here! Got me in and out and even helped with a box to help pack it safe in my car. 5 stars. The manager was very nice and patient with the employees he was training and you can tell he cares.

Worse experience ever...abort choosing this place...I scheduled a hitch installation with 10 days in advance, went to my appointment as requested and when checking in the lady at front desk told me that the installer was not there and she needed to call the Manager, minutes later he on the speaker phone said that they didnt have the parts needed yet so he will be calling me when them arrive. Not happy with that I asked for a cancellation after such a disrespectful treatment ( I mean not even a warning call or text a day before the appointment) and the lady had to call this Manager again who answered: write me a note for that, I will do it later...Thanks goodness the U-Haul call center was amazing (Jhon K) he heard my story, and immediately took action issuing the refund 4 hours later so a could move on installing the hitch elsewhere. Dont go to this U-haul location, go to places that care about their customers and are professional (like Jhon K) who are really committed to help, in my case trying to save some money gave me a real lesson, quality has a price...

I was skeptical about choosing this one with all the 1 star reviews, but it was down the street and more convenient. I rented a 10 ft truck and an auto transport from here. Everything was functional and clean. I didnt have the same experience like others, but overall I was happy with my purchase. Also helped hook up the trailer and walked me through it. Only downside there was that its just one person to help with people

DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION! The service is absolutely terrible. I made a reservation two weeks prior and was told on the day of that they didn’t have a truck available. There’s no point in calling ahead and making a reservation because they’ll tell you at the store that availability is first come first serve. On top of not having the truck the person working was so rude about it and didn’t even try to help us find another truck. Go with another moving company for a better experience.

Had a bad experience at this location about 3 months ago.. and was skeptical about renting from this place again. 6:50am Im sitting in front of the building waiting for it to open..Some Guy approached me and stated that they open in 10 minutes..after waiting 10 minutes I was praying that my reservation was still reserved after having a bad experience before with some rude female .He mention that he was the new manager in training and thing should be different from now on and he apologize for the past bad experiences even tho he had nothing to do with he still cared.. New manager was very helpful Thanks

Before I begin, I wanted to let you know that Ive used U-Haul in general for 30+ years when renting trailers, trucks, and purchasing receiver hitches for my vehicles…all of which I previously had positive experiences. However, this current experience with U-Haul and this particular location was horrible. My plan was to purchase a receiver hitch for my sons vehicle. I ordered the hitch online and wanted to have the hitch installed at this location because of its proximity to where my son lives. I live 2.5 hours away (5 hours roundtrip from Augusta to Atlanta). Ordering online via U-Haul.com went fine. I set up the date and time on their system. Because of a change of plans, I had to reschedule the appointment. However, there is no way to do so online, so I called this Atlanta location directly. It turns out that the date/time I scheduled online was not an opening the location had...so, they changed me to the following week on their end and never let me know. It was lucky that I called them when I did or I would have made a wasted trip. The guy I talked to named, Keith, seemed nice enough. He rescheduled me for my new date/time and confirmed with me that they had both the hitch and wiring harness for my sons vehicle in stock. I asked him if he would set them aside to prevent them from selling to someone else, especially since I had already paid for the hitch/wiring harness in advance! He assured me that they would be there when I arrived this morning per my 9am appointment. When I got there this morning at 8:50am, after driving 2.5 hours from Augusta, GA, a different person was behind the counter. When I told him that I was there to have the hitch and wiring harness installed on my sons car, he sheepishly informed me that they had installed my paid-for hitch on someone elses vehicle earlier that week. He then said, I think we tried to call you. I received no such call, text, or voicemail from U-Haul prior to my appointment informing me that they sold my hitch. So, on top of everything else, the counter person lied to me to save face. Other than refunding my credit card of what I already paid for in advance, that dealership offered nothing to try to make up for their colossal blunder. Thus, I felt compelled to warn future customers about this particular U-Haul dealer and of my terrible experience. I hope this review saves someone from the aggravation I dealt with today.

This was the worst Uhaul experience I can recall. Didnt have the size truck I reserved when I came for my reservation pick up. Didnt have the furniture pads Id ordered. The front seat of the truck was dirty and smelled of cigarettes. The trucks engine sounded terrible and after picking up the truck I couldnt get the key out of the ignition. So at the several stops I had to make I was stuck leaving the key in the ignition while I loaded and unloaded. Oh and upon arrival at the pick up location I was told my after hours drop off wasnt available, so it was on me to get the truck back by 6:45pm or I could drop it off between 7am-9am the next day or be charged for a second day. Awesome.

I rented from this location last Saturday and Wesley was very rude and unprofessional. He needs to be retrained in customer service. He also need training in how to diffuse a situation from escalating. He lied about how long my reservation was for and did not explain the charges, he just shoved the receipt in my hand. I had to get very stern with him about his NASTY attitude. The general manager was very polite kudos to you sir and thanks for your assistance.

Looks like this dealer deleted their old business profile and started from scratch, not surprised based on previous reviews. I left a review on the old page, but will repost in hopes of helping others.I rented a trailer here - they hooked it up, and I started the trek to TX.On I-30W in Texas, the trailer (which had a deformed clamp) disconnected.Thankfully the safety chains caught the trailer and no one was hurt - tne U-Haul slammed into the back of my car.Roadside assistance (paid for) took three hours to respond. I called U-Haul the next week asking to discuss a claim, ,etc. after no regional response I emailed the director of customer service. After a few failed attempts, and still no response, I emailed the CEO, and then finally got responses from the proper teams. This was 6 weeks ago and I’m still dealing with the open claim.The staff at the location is quite rude and clearly doesn’t check to make sure the rentals are properly serviced. Also completely non responsive - avoid this place, I’m looking at 2.5K of damage, and was put into a very dangerous situation.

Horrible experience. Extremely unprofessional. Dont count on your reservation actually being there. I made a reservation for a vehicle at this location. On the day of the reservation I got a phone call saying that if I didnt call them back, they would cancel my reservation. No explanation as to why, but that was the message. I called the number and talked with a rep, and they said that they would make a note in my file and that the reservation would not be cancelled. When I arrived at the location, the rude and unprofessional staff of this location told me that my reservation had been cancelled. They told me, you should have called. When I told them that I *had* called, they just kind of shrugged and said we can make a reservation somewhere else. So they made a reservation at a location 20 miles away, which added 40 miles to my trip. Thats an extra $39.60 to my tab because they charge $.99 per mile. So while I was driving to the other location, I called customer service to let them know what had happened. They assured me that I would be given a refund of $50 for the reservation guarantee not being honored and that they would refund me the extra mileage charges as well, but that I would have to call back *after* I had returned the vehicle. When I returned the vehicle, I called customer service again, explained the situation and was told that I needed to wait 3 business days for the manager to call me and issue the refund. I have waited 4 business days and received no such call and no such refund. Each time I call customer service, the wait time to talk to someone is at 20-30 minutes. I have had to call customer service 5 times and literally spent hours on hold waiting for customer service. Once I finally got through to customer service they informed me that they would issue the $50, but that was it. Dont bother with this or any Uhaul location. Customer service is terrible, their website doesnt work, they lie, and they cheat you out of your money. I will never, ever use Uhaul again. Pay more and save yourself the hassle.

Be very careful do not rent from this location. They have a scam going. Looking back at my paperwork I see what they did Inflated the initial estimate By adding an extra day and insurance that I didnt ask for. Thats on me I should look at it more closely but it was just an estimate and I knew when I returned the vehicle I would check the charges closely. I return the vehicle with exactly the Amount of gas that was in it when I rented the truck. Which peculiarly was a quarter tank who rents a vehicle with a quarter tank of gasThey did this Make it almost impossible to return with the same amount of gas thus charging a $30 fee plus $25 in gasCoincidentally when they took the insurance out and the extra day that they added on the front end the fees on the back end equal that almost exactly so anyone who looked at what the amount was when they rented and what they returned it it would be the same

The van was cleaned but displayed messages saying RR tire needed air and the van needed an oil change. I dont feel that they should rent out a van that is displaying messages of possible equipment issues. That should be resolved before they rent it out. Also when placing the reservation online, it keep automatically adding extra stuff like moving pads and a dolly. I took it off my initial order and when I went to pick up the van, it someone was added back into my reservation. It would not, at that point, allow me to delete it off and it was after hours so I couldnt talk to anyone in the office so I had to let it go. When I went to check the van in, I specified that the bill was incorrect and I should not be charged for moving pads and a dolly that I didnt receive nor ask for. They still charged me and submitted a promissory note. I guess I have to wait forever to get it taking off my credit card. It;s not good when you try to nickel and dime your customer by adding extra stuff they dont need to their bill!

The vehicle was not fueled properly and had several mechanical issues with the doors that made the inside alarm alert to the problem. The interior had an excessively overpowering smell of body odor as if a homeless person were living in the van. The store attendant was the rudest person in all of my experience worth U-Haul. I’ll find somewhere else to rent a vehicle even if I have to pay more.

I reserved a truck and 2 different dollies. When I came to pick up the truck, I assumed the dollies were in the back of the truck, but they were not. When I noticed the mistake some hours later, I went back and was told “there are no dollies” and that at the end of the reservation he will refund me. But I proceed to tell him I NEED the dollies. After a few minutes of looking at each other with blank stares because I reserved a dolly and he’s given them all away, he calls another Uhaul and asks if they have dolly’s, they happen to have some and he flatly tells me to go get one from there. I ask “There where….?” And he rattles off some address. Seeing as my reservation time is passing, I decided to skip that and just move my things. I come at the end of the reservation and let him know I didn’t go get the other dollies so I would need my refund. He says okay, says that I will have my receipt shortly, and he moves on to the next customer. Welp, guess what…..no refund. I was still charged for the two dollies that I NEVER got. They’re literally only getting 2 stars because I reserved the truck and it was actually there. In other words….they got two stars for….doing part of their job.

ABSOLUTELY POOR UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE WITH LOCATION REP AT 8:30 AM on 5/15. When asking the rep valid information on the miscommunications between their location and another on a van that had a designate new location for the return location. The rep obviously cannot read and should not be working in customer service with a non- professional attitude early in the morning or any day. RETRAINING AND CONSEQUENCES ARE REQUIRED!!! I rented a van from this location reserved at 3:30 PM. I opted for the van mostly for the ability to move overnight safely and to avoid parking near the street. I wasnt informed ahead of time that the equipment I reserved wasnt available, and was given the last minute decision to use the one truck available, or use nothing. I was also informed there wouldnt be any additional charges, unless I damaged the truck or returned it late.At the end of my rental period (it was 16 hours) I returned the truck on time to the associate with the gas filled to the specified amount. A few hours later, I saw a receipt that charged me for 2 billable periods. This effectively doubled the cost of everything I had from yesterday (equipment, dolly, insurance, etc;). There was also a charge added for furniture pads I never used/rented, and yes, that cost was doubled as well. A $65 initial purchase turned into $115 immediately.I contacted the customer service line and explained the situation, and I was informed I would receive a callback or email, to provide further context and discuss what happened. I only received a no reply email with a refund for $29.95. I now have to file a new request, which is time-consuming and frustrating.In my opinion, service at this location can be improved by taking the time to inform customers that equipment cant be rented, rather than hoping when I get there I can take the alternative. The associate chalked it up to, same price, but the added fees I paid for parking the U-Haul safely on the street, AND the double charges at the end make for a bad experience, especially during a crucial time period like this.Im more than comfortable saying I will never revisit this location, though I do appreciate how nice and informative the first customer service associate I spoke to on the U-Haul line was.If possible, pay cash to rent a moving truck/vehicle, this way you can have charges justified to you, and not added after you leave.

I was very worried when I read the reviews of this location on how the experience would be.That being said, I had no issues with my trailer rental. Pickup was easy and the associate was courteous and helped hook the trailer. They were busy when I returned the trailer but the counter associate checked me in and I was on my way, didn’t have to wait in line.The only document they asked for was my drivers license upon pickup, nothing else.Overall it was a typical U-Haul experience, as expected, no quirks, nothing to complain about.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. Rude and unhelpful with terrible equipment. We scheduled to pick up a 10 truck on Thursday May 27. The truck we got was blocked in by a 10 truck behind it, trucks on either side and a concrete block and curb onto Peachtree Street in front. Went inside to ask them to move the truck behind us so we could get out. Michael was extremely rude. Came out and moved the truck behind ours and honked continually at my husband who was trying to back the truck up. Couldnt back it up because it was too close to other trucks and he was hitting the side mirrors. Michael got furious, got into the drivers seat of our truck and slammed on the gas, hopped the truck over the concrete block and curb, went the wrong way on the wrong side of Peachtree street and wheeled into the parking lot. We took the truck. It had no AC. We drove it from Atlanta to Charlotte. AC didnt work and the rubber gasket holding the windshield in place came loose and was flying all over the place on the highway. Had to stop multiple times to push it back in place. Find any other place in Atlanta to rent a Uhaul other than this location and manager.

Absolutely a nightmare. We reserved a 10 truck and 4 dollies (2 furniture and 2 hand trucks). We arrived to pick up our truck. The customer service was HORRID. We were using the app to avoid contact, but our truck was blocked in, which was fine, but when we asked the desk person what to do, they responded curtly and with annoyance to pick another truck on the app. I didnt understand because there was no option on the screen. So I went back in after trying and asked for the keys and for the truck to be moved to where we could get it. The desk person acted extremely frustrated and finally agreed to move it.We left with the truck and then realized we forgot our equipment. MIND YOU, this was after we received our contract with said equipment listed. We went back and the desk person had the NERVE to ask, what equipment? We have none. So we spent 13 HOURS moving because we received none of the equipment and absolutely NO HELP from the desk person. My back is now messed up from moving the furniture with no dollies. I am glad I am not disabled because this would have been even worse.Not only was I charged for the equipment we NEVER GOT when I returned the truck (still waiting on a refund, currently my refund is showing as... $2.18?) but I was also charged TWICE. This has been an absolute nightmare. My account over-drafted and I couldnt pay bills because they charged me almost $200 for what should have been around $60-70. I have been in contact with about 4 people from corporate because the store never answers. This happened on the 23rd/24th. Still waiting for anything. Never using Uhaul again and DO NOT go to this location, because it might as well be self-serve with this customer service, rudeness, and carelessness. The one on Piedmont Rd is so much better for your needs and the staff there have been amazing. But I cannot risk this again.

Avoid this business like the plague. Horrible service on many visits. Depending on the visit they are either understaffed and you wait forever, the propane tank is broken and they cannot sell propane or yesterday they were out of propane and wont have any until next week. I drive 20 minutes to get here and always disappointing.

I had a great experience with this U-Haul location the other day. I booked online a rental van about 15 minutes before picking it up around 2:30pm and made a few errors on my order but when I got to the location that were fixed every quickly! The location might be easy to miss coming from the Brookhaven area but it definitely has a large variety of rental options to pick from so I was happy they could help me out. The van I rental had a few issues with tire pressure which took away from my rental from going as smoothly as I would have liked it but couldnt be the location from my moving needs. I would definitely recommend this location if you live and/or moving somewhere close by.

The air condition did not work in the truck. A staff member said they would fix it, but after being ignored and waiting for 40 minutes we left the store. The customer service at this location is awful. Everyone seems bothered by customers and like they hate their jobs. After leaving the location, I called on the phone to report the situation. Again, the staff member (Glen maybe?) in a horrible tone said to come back and they would fix it. But, honestly with his attitude and response dripping with disdain I would rather deal with a hot truck than extra stress from someone that clearly had no training on customer service and was either having a really bad day or just doesnt like his job. Life its too short and there are other rental companies offering the same product with better customer service. This location is certainly a fail U-haul as indicated on your yelp reviews.

Absolutely terrible business practices. They randomly moved my toe hitch installation a week away without notifying me at all (no emails and no calls) and they just shrugged and blamed the parts. I made the reservation 2 weeks ago and needed it done this weekend before I go out of town, so they completely ruined all of my vacation and the didnt even offer any help, they didnt offer to call another location or anything. Completely unacceptable way to run a business when it comes to something as important and timely as moving.

Please be aware that the unused box buy-back is conditional on having original paper receipts. In the age of COVID you must pay with a card and request the paper receipts - if you choose paperless you cannot return unused boxes, even if you can prove the transaction electronically. Without a paper receipt you can only get store credit - which is not disclosed at purchase time. Buyer beware! If you anticipate any box returns, request and keep your paper receipts! Despite a manager being on duty my situation was not resolved so dont get burned for overpurchasing boxes as I was.

They require contact information for TWO “emergency contacts” to rent a small open trailer which I am pulling with my own insured car. This is a total invasion of privacy and unnecessary!!!The online “check in” did little to speed up the process as all info was duplicated.It feels more like they are trying to get as much personal information as possible for their benefit rather than to serve the customer.

Rented a Uhaul Truck In SEPTEMBER, returned the truck within 4 days as stated in the contract, for Uhaul to change me 268 dollars in NOVEMBER because THEY SAID I returned the truck 4 days late. Apparently the employees at Uhaul checked in the truck 4 days after I returned it and they charged me for it, with a promise to pay attached to my account. WHAT TYPE OF ESTABLISHMENT DOES THIS? Didnt call me, I had to call them because Uhaul kept charging my account over a month later. CHECK THE CAMERAS!! Im still dealing with this and its unnecessary stress. This cant be legal!!!! Calling is a nightmare because the customer service is even worse!! PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE IF YOU ARE MOVING AND NEED TO RENT A TRUCK!!

Scheduled a truck earlier in the week to be picked up the upcoming Saturday. Upon my arrival, I was told by this u-Haul location that they had my reservation but no longer could give me a truck. When I inquired why, the owner told me he allowed the current reservation to extend their U-Haul and suggested I should change the day of my move. He was not helpful is assisting me find another truck and did not care about letting me know earlier in the day that my truck was no longer available. His only suggestion was to simply move my moving day. I would HOPE that the owner at this location would have potentially moved or had used U-Haul before, however, it is more than obvious he has not. The work that accompanies a move is enormous hence why people make reservations to prepare for the day. He did not care to help at all. I had to call corporate to help find another truck so that my moving day was not ruined. So my suggestion would be not to use this location (Clairmont location down the road is a lot better), and fire the guy with brown hair and facial hair. I would try and hire someone who has moved before and understands the effort people put in to make reservations so that this day goes seamlessly.

Had a hitch installation scheduled for Wednesday. Got a call 2 hours before scheduled time saying parts were not there. Rescheduled for Saturday. I called in Friday to confirm and they confirmed parts had arrived and I should go Saturday 8am for installation. Got there at time and was asked to drop off the car for service. Got a call at 12:30 pm saying the parts hadn’t arrived. Will travel Sunday. Without the hitch. Half of the travel plans are gone. Ridiculous service!

They couldnt keep my reservation (which happens, I get it), but the manager initially said he wouldnt honor the $50 guarantee, then agreed to after I showed him the online wording but only once I came back to pick up the truck at the new time. When I came back he had left for the day and didnt tell any of the staff, so they couldnt apply the discount.The trucks were not great quality, but you get what you pay for.

Worst Uhaul experience Ive had, and I have used Uhaul many times. They wanted my license, passport, and lease agreement. However, they had no way of attaching a digital lease agreement, despite it being 2020 and everything being digital. I have the lease on my phone, but a screenshot is not an option, either. I needed a truck simply to pick something up from a store that I cannot fit in my car, and it shouldnt have been this hard, particularly with my lengthy, positive Uhaul history (Ive moved several times, including a state to state move last month with a Uhaul truck). Definitely do not recommend this location, as their agents are not helpful.Added: After trying via their messaging system to check in and resolve lease agreement uploading issue, and Chandrima just choosing to stop responding, nobody being available in the store to assist, and nobody answering the phone, I finally gave up after 52 minutes on site for and still no way to move what I needed, which is time sensitive. This is absolutely unacceptable, and I best not be charged, as my card is on file from my initial reservation set up.

When I got the email I was charged for 2 rental periods instead of 1. I called the owner Jesse the next morning and he agreed that it was a mistake and he would fix it. After multiple attempts to follow-up with Jesse he continually ignored my emails so I disputed with AMEX. I just got the dispute back today and in fact they lied to AMEX that I had the trailer for multiple rental periods so they didnt have to refund the money. These are shady business practices and I will never visit this location again.

Placed an order for a Hitch to be installed on an MDX 2016 .. gave me the date for the 8th at 10 am. They moved it to the 10th without informing me . Then they call me on the 10th and say they don’t have the part and can not even share the date because the part haven’t even left the facility. Called them on the 7th and 9th with promised call backs, which never happened. Bad customer service, wasted 6 days. I could have ordered it with another shop. Will never deal with them.

All I wanted was a 10ft to be picked up on Peachtree.Only pure luck that another customer dropped off a truck early gave me a 15ft truck.To not fault of the agent at the desk, U-Haul is a hopelessly unorganised mess.

Made a reservation here and performed my online check-in with no problems. Upon arriving I was told to talk to an agent inside because a part of my order was missing. Turns out all their trucks of my reservations size had been stolen, so they couldnt give me a truck. There were no larger trucks available at any other location apparently, so they directed me to the Clairmont location to pick up a smaller truck. The staff at this Peachtree location were not friendly nor helpful. I wasted a lot of time going to this location and waiting for them to help me, and the smaller truck I got resulted in more trips / cost for me. I will never use this location again.

I ordered a 20 truck 2 weeks in advance for p/u at this location. They had 3 available 3 days before p/u. I was forced to take a 26 truck that was too big, old and shimmyed on a 500 mile move to FL.. My chosen and assigned drop off location was closed on my scheduled drop off date. UHAUL has an inventory problem tracking availability of your turcks.

The staff seemed friendly enough but I was told that I had a truck for 7 days and they filled the paperwork out wrong so upon return to a location in Durham, NC, I had to pay an extra $90 for extra days/mileage. When I called to get a resolution I was put on hold for 20+ minutes 3 different times. I finally gave up and posted a complaint on the BBB. After that I looked through Google reviews and it looks like a lot of other people have had similar experiences.I would recommend finding another Uhaul location, there are plenty in ATL and hopefully others will do a better job of resolving customer issues.

Worst customer service. If you do not want to deal with customers at closing time then you should look for a different career. I had a reservation for a tow dolly I needed because of a emergency and made it there at 7:55. Doors where already locked and they finally let me in after explaining I had a reservation. After several excuses about why they couldnt rent me the tow dolly. They decided that my 1 ton doge diesel wasnt rated for it because it wasnt on her screen. Then I was told I would have to leave because there was nothing she could do. The only way I could talk to someone at uhaul was to keep going through reservation because they where the only one that would answer the phone .After talking to several levels they could not expain why this lady would not rent me a tow dolly. After speaking to several supervisors Reva was happy to help in canceling my order and filing a complaint. If you need to rent anything in an emergency I suggest you seek another business.

Had a reservation at 10:00am for hitch install. Was onsite at 10:00am, waited in line for 30 min just to be told they did not know where the installer was or when he would return. They said I may have to wait until 2:00pm. When I asked why I had to make a reservation in order to wait 4 hours, they just smiled and laughed. Glad the employees enjoy working in the field of sales prevention. This place is a joke.

Honestly worst experience I have ever had. I have been trying to get in touch with the manager for three days about a refund and he will not return my calls. PLEASE go get your boxes from Lowe’s or Home Depot. No questions asked they will refund your money for your boxes without the hassle that uhaul will give you.

Do NOT do business with this location if you care about being treated fairly and kindly. The manager is not only extremely rude, unfair and inconsiderate if customers’ time, but that he requires ridiculous documentation before renting out a pick up truck for less than 4hrs. In addition to divers license, he also required copies of our lease agreement and when we showed to him he said he won’t accept as the lease ended in a month and “was not current”. What does that even mean and how could he do this to customers. We decided to go to a different branch and easily rented out a truck with no problem. He keeps citing “past bad experiences where customers stole my trucks” for these ridiculous demands. I hope he goes out of business because he sure does not know how to treat customers and give the UHaul company a terrible reputation.

Went for a hitch installation. But this place is a mess. Although the hitch seems to be installed correctly they have a problem keeping scheduled times. My installation was scheduled for 1:00pm and car was ready at 6:00pm. They never called to say it was ready.This place lacks management and organization. At some point in the afternoon the guy that was supposed to be installing hitches was resolving customer problems. Where’s the manager of this place???This is ridiculous.

RUN FAST!!!! This was the worse Uhaul experience I have ever had. The worker argued back and forth with me about not taking the trailer off the back of the truck after driving 10 hours to get to Atlanta he told me he had a bad back and poor eye sight and could not take my car down because it was at night. After telling me he would charge me 35 dollars to remove the chains that would release the car I reached out corporate while I was standing there and they informed me there is no such fee in place as it is included in the rental and insurance I paid. after finally agreeing to pay the fee he took the chains off i drove the car down then he took 45 minutes just trying to park the trailer in a particular spot i told him he needed to just remove it so i could leave he left the truck open keys still in the ignition with all of my belongings in it and told me to figure it out since i knew so much about how it should be because he was tired and had worked all day I then told him he needed to do his job and he told me it was time for him to clock out argued with me and kept asking me are you done yet??? he then called the police (after speaking to the general manager who was worse than him) saying I needed to leave the property with the trailer still attached (movers were coming the following morning to unload the truck) because he wasnt doing it. We then stood there going back and forth he finally agreed to take it off after my wife said she would guide him the police came he told them he was just doing it and never mind all after he argued with me back and forth telling me he was doing me a FAVOR by taking the trailer off. I will never be using Uhaul ever again!! next time I be using Budget or Penske instead this location needs to be investigated with a fine tooth comb!!! all this and we paid over $500 for this rental. save your time and money

Called & reserved a truck. Two days later, drove the truck to Charleston, S.C. & could not believe how poorly maintained this truck was. To begin with, inside the cab was filthy - gross filthy, grimy. Secondly, one of our headlights was out when we turned on the headlights - not a sudden blown headlight. And the tires were low on air. Very disappointing. Drove to & from Charleston on many back roads (as it was necessary to reach our destination). Dark as pitch black, no street lights what so ever except an occasional farm house with a interior light on; single lane highways with little to no shoulders up against the swamp, creek beds, etc. We were placed in a very dangerous position by the fact of having to drive with only 1 head light.

This is for a hitch and wiring installation.On Thursday, 9/14, Jesse at UHAUL on Peachtree installed a hitch and wiring. After I left the shop, some of the dash warning lights turned on. Thinking I could have a coincidental problem, I had a mechanic read the computer for error codes. He found one, an error in the stop light circuit. I called UHAUL and described the problem. Jesse said he was sure he installed the wiring correctly, but after I described what I’d found, he said would make an appointment for the next morning, Friday, at 7 AM for his manager, Dion, to check the installation in case the manager might find something Jesse missed. Jesse called again and the manager was unwilling to check the installation, but Jesse said he would check it at 12:30PM on 9/15. Jesse had already said that he had installed everything correctly and was sure the problem was not his installation, but Jesse had no other ideas. Since I was not sure about what would be accomplished by Jesse, I called UHAUL on Peachtree on Friday, 9/15, around 11AM to talk to Dion. UHAUL’s answering service took the message. As of today, 9/23, Dion has not returned my call.We were in Atlanta, hiding from Irma that had hit our SW FL home. We were anxious to get back so we left on 9/15 and returned to FL. Our Atlanta mechanic said the error was unfortunate since it meant the ABS and traction/stability systems were turned off, but the vehicle would make it back to FL. Fortunately he was correct. I explained to Jesse several times that we wanted the hitch on Thursday so we could leave for FL on Friday, so UHAUL in Atlanta was aware of our situation.In Fort Myers, I went to my local UHAUL, explained the situation and asked if they might be able to help. Instead of washing their hands of the situation as Dion did in Atlanta, they said when they got power and Internet back, they would be glad to check it and would certainly be able to fix it. A few days later, they did. They discovered the problem to be an incompatibility between the UHAUL wiring harness and the Philips brand replacement LED brake/taillight bulbs for this vehicle. Changed to standard filament bulbs and problem solved.So a giant raspberry to Dion and UHAUL on Peachtree Road for this one for just washing their hands of even trying to help. I guess as long as you are SURE that nothing will go wrong with your installation, they are OK. But for any assistance if something goes wrong, forget about it. If they had helped after the initial install, this would be a 4 star.HUGE kudos to Marc and Chace (hope I spelled those right) at UHAUL on 41 in Fort Myers. It was a puzzling problem but they got it straightened out and did it cheerfully.
