Mini grocery store with reasonable prices and nice staff. Small fridge and frozen section with what I consider to be the essentials (milk, cheese, ice cream), fresh produce, and other household, hygene, and office items.

Weirdly. I was wishing for a Dollar General anywhere near Atlanta because Atlanta did not have one. And noticed DGX was opened in the center of Midtown while out one day & I saw a man with a Dollar General-looking bag. I was amazed. I love these little stores! They carry the Freeman face mask products I like to add to my skincare routine. This is a smaller format of the typical Dollar General but it carries what a typical Dollar General carries. I didnt find the Freeman Dead Sea Minerals Anti-Stress Facial Mask but they had other ones. Id like to see them stock more of the Freeman face mask line so I can eventually get the face masks I want. And while I didnt get any skincare products the day I went to check it out, I did buy some makeup because they had a lot of good makeup especially their eyeshadow palettes.

Ive had two Simple Mobile phones.Simple Mobile cant service their own phone. Im only giving this location one star because of the phones Dollar General sells everywhere, this is an exchange for the first phone that failed. Dont go to Dollar General for a cell phone. More than 9 hours of time wasted because of these people today is Thanksgiving.State senator daddys boy Bert Jones brought the Dollar General million square foot Warehouse to Georgia I wish theyd take their junk out of my state and put it somewhere else.

I was the first customer in line for both DGX grand opening days Friday, 031320 and Saturday, 031420. The employees were exceptionally hospitable! The prices are phenomenal! The selection of merchandise is broader than I anticipated. I trust DGX will continue to place their BEST employees at this location. They may want to consider paying their employees at this location a higher salary than other locations to reaffirm proficiency. I will be direct in saying, If or when the moment the quality of service drops, be it mercandise or customer service, we will make a LOUD noise! We welcome DGX to our community and hopefully our new relationship will be an enrichment for both parties😊🎉💝🎈 PS Shout out to Na, Samantha, and the young lady thats from their corporate office. I forgot her name, but she left me a package to pick up with my name on it.

Had no idea this place even existed! And I live in the next building beside it. It is at the bottom of Hanover midtown, and is VERY convenient to get too by walking or driving! Might as well be a grocery store!

Fantastic store has far exceeded my expectations. It’s extremely clean very well organized. DGX is basically a scaled-down Walmart. I was shocked to find name brand food options priced lower than Kroger (such as the Taylor Farms salads for $1.85)! Again, produce? Yep, they carry a daily supply of staple produce and ready-to-eat meals for local employees and some of us lazier residents. They have a selection of frozen meals and deserts as well.DGX carries at least one name brand and generic brand of most items, so you have a choice. I’m extremely impressed with their merchandisers for curating such an comprehensive product mix for just about anything the Midtown community needs. There’s a mini electronics section behind the registers as well. I was able to buy a 4k resolution HDMI cable at fair market price although online retailers were sold out due to the pandemic, and the nearby Ace Hardware was charging $25 for an equivalent cord.Furthermore, all of my interactions with staff have been positive. I’m so glad I can walk one block to buy household & grocery items instead of several blocks to Publix or pay convenience pricing at QT & CVS.

Really amazing store to have in midtown. The new overhaul of the brand works well for the neighborhood (Especially for the high rise residents of midtown) and its just a nicely laid out store with a little of everything from A1 steak sauce, quality dog food, to ethnic hair products (If you live in midtown it is very rare to have stores that seem to really know the demographics of midtown) The only reason I can not give this store a complete 5 stars is when I am checking out I, personally, find it a little annoying that there is no running total on the consumer screen. That is a corporate issue but one that affects the everyday consumer. Outside of that this place rocks! Best selection, prices, and convenience.EDIT MADE ON JUNE 18TH, 2020In today’s climate there is a need for all of us to make sure that we are not just kind to one another but also respectful of societies social rules that dictate how we have an operable and functional world. Today June 18th, 2020 from 4:46 to 4:49PM I was met with absolute disrespect from one of the associates in your store and this is intolerable. I was in the store, as I frequent this location many times, and was waiting in line as one should do when waiting for service. There was a customer in front of me who was doing an exchange and I believe due to the complexity of the transaction both associates, which was behind the registers, were needed to compete this action. I waited patiently while another customer walked in, as the customer at the front desk was finishing up his transaction with both associates the older woman decided to attempt to take the second customer before myself after she had seen that I was in line well before this guy even was in the store. I voiced that I was there before this customer and this woman you all have put in place to represent your company had the nerve to tell me “it’s ok”… Well no it is not “OK”. I was in line and waited like the next one should, so who is she to tell me after I have waited that “its ok” and she can take more than one customer at a time… again where was this urgency when you both was needed for a simple return??? What make this even more aggravating was once I confronted the rude customer and informed him that I will not be cut in line the woman associate proceeded to continue to render service to the line cutter while I was having my items rung up by the male associate. This was a complete lack of respect for my hard earned money that could be shopped at another shop in midtown. I sternly let the woman associate and the line cutter know that “He CAN WAIT IN LINE AS I DID” and she had the nerve to defend his rude line cutting behavior. Working in retail you have one big job beyond anything and that is customer retention. What makes DGX believe this is going to keep customers coming into their store, especially when majority of the neighborhood did not want the store here to begin with? I do not want an apology for these miserable actions honestly… jobs are hard to come by and certainly in the customer service world… today her actions was self hating, disrespectful, & unbecoming of how any business in midtown should be treating its patrons!

Although, there was a lot of bad press regarding this store in this location, I was very hopeful that it was wrong. Unfortunately, my experience here was lackluster and did not meet any of my expectations as it relates to instocks, store brand, organization or usage of the app in store is a nightmare. I ended up leaving my entire purchase at the counter and walking out. Back to Target I go...
