Very satisfied with the job Floor Coverings International did. Carl and flooring crew were very professional and friendly. Dennis, the owner was excellent to work with, from picking the appropriate type flooring for the room to provided prompt service scheduling the instillation.

We needed to replace our carpet but, as with most people, we knew nothing about what carpet to buy. Dennis provided us with excellent recommendations for the kind of carpet we needed. He did not try to upsell us on something more expensive which we did not need. The price he quoted was very reasonable, and process was all around very pleasant and simple. The installation was timely scheduled and the installers were professional, polite, and courteous. They took great care of our home and did an excellent job. Overall I could not have asked for a better experience.

Dennis was an absolute AWESOME guy to work with. I asked on facebook for recommendations for someone to replace my existing linoleum floor and Dennis name came up. I contacted him with strict instructions I wanted a no pressure quote. That is exactly what I got. He came to my house, listened to what I wanted, made a few suggestions and provided me with a quote. After a day or 2 of decision making we decided to go with him and he immediately got started ordering product and set a time for installation. The installation lasted 2 days for my kitchen, hallway and bathroom. Total time from consultation to completion was 22 days. Once complete he came back by to make sure we were completely satisfied and WE ARE! Next up is carpet replacement in the living room after taxes. I would highly recommend Dennis and Floor Coverings International to anyone. I dont believe you will find a better company to give you the personal, professional and quality touch anywhere.

We had a very tired looking sun room, which needed updating badly. We had a decorator plan the furniture and then decided to do the floor. We called Floor Coverings International and found them very pleasant and ready to help. We told them what we wanted to do and they brought samples, to the house, we did not even have to go into the store.The nice thing about this service is that you get to see the flooring, where it will be used and dont have to bring samples from the store and make a trip or two back because you dont like what you picked. When they come to your house it really simplifies things and Dennis is very helpful.We chose the flooring and after it was installed, we were in total shock. It looked so much better than we expected.The installers were pleasant and worked steadily, to get the job done. We have no complaints and would recommend them to anyone that needs or wants new flooring.

We suffered a plumbing accident that destroyed our basement family room floor. We were planning to host guests for a party in a couple of weeks but thought we might have to cancel due to the time it would take to find new flooring, order it and get it installed. Dennis was amazing to work with!! Met us when it was convenient for our schedule. He was extremely knowledgeable. He listened to what was important to us and gave us a variety of options in varying price ranges to choose from. He was able to answer all the questions we had which made our choice very simple. It only took a couple of days for the product to be delivered and installed. We are very happy with our new flooring and the party is back on track! We will work with Dennis again for our future flooring needs!!

I was very pleased with Dennis, Kara and Erin. I had several questions about the flooring to put in my home, and they answered any questions that I had. If anyone is thinking about purchasing flooring I would go to Floor Coverings International first and speak with Dennis because he is honest and a pleasure to work with at all times.

I initially left a great review and I really hate to come back and revise it, but these floors are nothing to write home about and the owner is pretty awful. The ladies who work there are very kind and helpful, but the owner, Dennis, who was kind at first, made some rude comments about me to my husband when he was the one who messed up our order. We got entirely different flooring than what we ordered and he tried to say it was my fault because you know how women are, they change their mind all the time (his words to my husband) as if I decided on the flooring he gave us and changed my mind after it had arrived. The click-in flooring we got is cheaply made and they also did a very sloppy job of installing our carpeting. We really wanted to support local business, but unfortunately we will not be giving them our business again or referring anyone to them.

Dennis was highly unprofessional when I called to offer him local advertising. He was laughing in the background at my offer before his assistant hung up the phone. Bad personal experience when talking to the WNC branch.

Working with Dennis was a disaster and cost significantly more than originally quoted, and that was only after having to go to great lengths just to get the project finished as originally agreed. Dennis is an ineffective communicator and cares far less about getting the job done right as he does about making as much money as quickly as possible.Dennis claims to have extensive experience in the industry but the reality is that hes been in flooring for 2 years and the rest of his career is in restoration. Unfortunately we found out the hard way that he doesnt really know what hes doing and was in over his head on our project. As a result, there were several issues that should have been brought to our attention prior to starting work (or paying a 50% deposit), that werent even mentioned until we had reached the point of no return and we were given no choice but to pay additional money on 3 separate occasions. The first was about $100, the second issue was about $400, and the third issue was about $800.His contract states that With the exception of unforseen subfloor and structural issues, the price below is the price you will pay. In the case of unforseen conditions, we will stop work and discuss the options with you prior to progressing. In this situation, there may be additional costs to complete the job properly. We had removed all existing floor all the way down to the subfloor so there should have been ZERO unforeseen issues...but we still were asked to pay hundreds and hundreds of dollars for extra work to have our project completed properly.Finally, when it came to stain our floors. We picked out a color with Dennis and he said I can match that. We gave him the sample color that we wanted and he was on his way. We were never given a opportunity to approve the stain color on our actual floors before they came and performed the work (while we were out of the house, as directed by Dennis due to the smell). When we returned to find our floors stained the complete wrong color Dennis essentially said too bad and said we could pay an addition $800 to have them come back and sand/stain again. Even the crew that came back by said that it was the complete wrong color. Despite that, it took us over a week of going back and forth with Dennis to agree to do the work as originally agreed, and even then he showed up uninvited and unannounced to our home to pressure my wife (who was home alone while I was away) to signing a final agreement addendum that she had never seen before.At every turn we were as agreeable as possible and gave them the opportunity to do the right thing every step of the way. Ultimately, we felt like that was taken advantage of due to our inexperience with this sort of work and due to the situation we were in (having to redo our kitchen unexpectedly due to a water leak).We would never consider working with this company again nor would we ever recommend them to anyone else.
