We ordered new tires for our son. Then we set up an appointment online to have them put on his truck. As we walked into the store, Chris Shelton, greeted us. He was very friendly and just outstanding in explaining everything. He sent us a way to see the progress of the tires on our phone. The experience was terrific and we will definitely be back. Two cars, three sets of tires, and many miles of trouble-free motoring. Two different locations of Discount Tire have taken excellent care of my car consistently and at reasonable prices - including price matching - for years. The road force balance machines they use are way better than the spin balancers that most places use, so the highway ride is silky smooth. Great customer service, honest dealing, and quality products and services - I’m a lifetime customer.

I ordered four tires. I was notified when they arrived. I set up an appointment. Everyone very nice and after an hour I was told there was a problem. They could only find three tires. How does this happen? They ordered the fourth and now I have to go back at great inconvenience to me. This should not happen in a company that is well managed. I am now driving on three new tires and one old one. Not safe.

I highly recommend the service at this Discount Tire. I brought a rim and tire assembled and Jacob wen beyond of his duty and replaced them for me. Such a great experience! I stopped by yesterday to inquire about getting a slow leak fixed. Chris was so helpful and sweet! He let me know the service was free and we also ended up having a great conversation about music. When I went by today to actually get the work done, the gentleman that helped me (I believe his name was Chad?) was also amazing and super helpful. Got a flat on the highway towing our 5th wheel trailer. After my roadside insurance had it changed to my spare, we made it to our campsite and I called around to get a replacement.32 miles away was a Discount Tire store that had 3 to match. They told me every morning the first hour was 1st come 1st serve. I drove there for opening the next morning and they Got me taken care of . I am literally a happy camper.I bought the Michelin AT/2 20 tires at Costco, had them rotated and balanced regularly on schedule so were still 20,000 miles left of the warranty, but the closest Costco was well over 100 miles away. Discount Tire even gave me a great discount on this spendy tire when I told them about the warranty on a tire they didnt sell me.Nice work.

Im giving one star because the guy at the desk was very courteous and professional, and another because he thanked me for being a nurse. That was very sweet. Im taking 2 stars off because I brought my car in for a tire rotation and balance, telling them there was back and forth shimmy. The pressure in one tire was low when I brought it in. Apparently, they dont check the tire pressure, because it is still low and a dash warning light is now on, which they did not take the time/care to address or reset.

I ordered tires from Discount Tires website and scheduled an appointment through their online scheduling. The day before the appointment, I received an appointment confirmation. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, I was told that the tires I had ordered were no longer being manufactured, that the shop on Bleachery Blvd didnt have them in stock, and that if I wanted tires I would have to call around to the other shops to see if they had this kind of tire in stock. Discount Tire did not offer to assist me in any capacity. No one called to warn me of this ahead of time before I took off work to make this appointment. I checked the website later and found that there was a set of tires in stock at the Bleachery Blvd shop that wouldve fit my vehicle perfectly. I suspect that the person I dealt with just didnt want to do the work. I called the customer service line and the agent assured me that a manager would be contacting me to make things right. Surprise surprise, no one ever contacted me. I guess thats consistent with the level of service Ive come to expect from Discount Tire. I will never do business with this company ever again, and neither should you.

Had tires mounted and balanced on Saturday and when I got back home I noticed all 4 of my steam caps were missing, so they either decided to steal them or forgot to put them back on dont know which. Also not much of a discount place, I paid more here than I did at a different place last time I had tires mounted and balanced, call around there are better places to get tires at.

I really like discount tire they are very customer oriented. They always have the tires that I want at the price that I feel is reasonable. I just bought four new general tires for my wifes Kia soul and they were by far the quietest and most comfortable that I have ever had on the car. I really put them through the test because I want my wife to be safe. I traveled through water puddles on the highway and they held the road beautifully which was my wifes biggest concern due to previous situations with other tires. I will continue to shop with discount tire, give them a try Im sure you will be satisfied.

The service was great, the staff up front was great. Originally I left a 5 star review However after today, and speaking as a former tech I know its quicker to use the impact gun on lugs but they had mine WAY WAY WAY over torqued. I was changing my brake pads and I had to bring out the breaker bar and put a pole over it to get lugs off. Im just glad my Bolt style lugs werent stripped. Maybe use a gun with lower Max torque for putting the lugs/bolts on.Also I am glad I was at home and not with a flat tire cause there is no way they wouldve came off with my torque wrench which most ppl dont have in their trunks.

A tire was order on Monday to be instock on Wed. Today is Friday afternoon and no tire. I doubt that it has been ordered at this point.They will not answer the store phone. Call for 5 hours before a person answered the phone. Its comical when the voice recording comes on and says Let us take care of you. I know they are busy, however they do not appreciate their loyal customers.

The service at this particular location is incredible. They are very busy, but for how much they are doing, they arent wasting a single moment either. I had a leak in a tire on warranty; it was honored no questions asked; they repaired the leak, balanced the tires, and rotated them, and I was on my way. I appreciate the peace of mind knowing if I have any tire issues it is no problem. Its simply the best tire service in town.

Showed up on time for my 12:45 appointment and was there until 3:45. Good prices, but three hours to get four tires put on?They have a serious scheduling issue. Great place if you have an entire afternoon to waste.

Went in to get my tires rotated and have them address my low pressure indicator. I was initially was told one of the sensors was bad and needed to be replaced. I approved the work and paid for it. In the end the technicians in the shop determined it was fine. I was refunded the money. Honest and quick!

Very slow to do warranty work. Have been waiting 2 and 1/2 hours, without anything being done. Told it would be 2 hours to do. Now being told it would be anither hour!

What an unprofessional experience. I ordered tires and made an appointment for this past Saturday. When I arrived, they were unable to find my tires on site. They had not bothered to call me to tell me this. I was told I would receive a call when they arrived and that I could then just show up at my convenience. Its Wednesday and after waiting in line for almost 30 minutes, I was told that I was considered a return for service and would be given priority service, meaning next car in a bay. I walked to some adjacent shopping to waste time (knowing they would text me if necessary) and when I returned 30 minutes later, my car had not been moved. After watching 4 cars go in the bays, I went in to ask when my car would be done. A tech came in from the garage and the front desk guy asked him when he had my car queued. He said there were two cars ahead of me. The front desk guy told him my car was a return for service. The tech said he didnt see that note on the ticket. They are now working on my car. I understand that getting tires isnt usually a speedy process, and I expected to wait an hour WITH my appointment. But this ineptitude and poor customer service has lost any future business from this customer.

Because of him, I will definitely choose Discount Tire for ANY TIRE NEED that I have in the future... this guy definitely deserves a raise! Ive grown to distrust tire stores, UNTIL my experience with Discount Tire. The Asheville team with Chris and Brandon demonstrated exceptional customer service on the busiest of days. There was no hard pressure upsell, no exaggeration on how soon my tires would fail. In fact they told me my tires looked like they were in good shape, except for the small leak in the tread, which they fixed in a most excellent manner. I look forward to going back when I need tires.

This is probably the 5th or 6th DT Ive had to do biz with.. professional every single time. This time it took a little longer but I know it was due to the covid not the biz. All good. Glad to have DT under me every mile I travel.

Prices are good. But bought 4 new tires and had them put in. When car given back, tire pressure sensor flashing. Never had that before. Tech didnt seem concerned and simply told me it would if with continued driving. Thought that was strange as any time Ive had a light and the car has d been worked on, light always goes out. I started to leave the parking lot and the tire pressure light went from flashing to solid. Pulled back in. Tech was very rude, huffing, and clearly upset I asked him to fix that. Very rude. He then proceeded to evaluate the sensors only to find out back one was dead and the rear passenger tire needed the pressure adjusted. Great product, disappointing customer service.

Customer service at this location is spot on! Kevin called my husband by his name every time he addressed him. We were on the way to our son’s leg procedure and realized we had a slow leak in one tire. My husband called Kevin while he was waiting on our son’s surgery to be done. Even though we didn’t have an appointment he said come on and that he would work us in. Our son’s procedure was done before the tire, so my husband came and picked us up and then we came back. Kevin still used my husbands name and remembered us and got us in as the next car!

The first time I used them, it was to replace a flat. I special ordered my tire via phone call, and they sold it to someone else instead of telling me it was in. Then I had to re-order it and wait for it to come in. The service was fast once I was able to bring my car in.The second time, I bought a full set and made an appointment to have them put on. They were busy, and it all went pretty much as expected. It takes a while to replace all the tires, but it was a normal amount of time considering they had about 8-10 other customers at the same time.The third time, my husband got a full set of tires. He sat there for two hours after giving them his keys before someone told them they had forgot to “check him in”, then they told him it was going to be a long wait because there were 10 people ahead of him. He had also made an appointment. Only one of the employees could drive a manual, so they had to wait until he was available to even pull his car into the bay...

I’ve been very happy with the tires I purchased under warranty, the length of the warranty, the services covered under warranty, the discounts offered to me for new tires, and the low cost of service for factory tires. However, the real value at Discount Tire is the customer service. At the Bleachery Blvd location, the staff are friendly and happy to help me make the right decision without the high pressure sales technique. I’m floored by the service they have provided me both with factory tires and ones I purchased from Discount Tire. Brought my car to get the tires I had bought from DT. Stood inline for approximately 20 minutes just to talk to someone about the tires the waited for approximately 35 to 40 minutes more. They had 5 bags full of cars with none I could see that was working on them finally got tired of waiting and left.the only got 1 star because there isnt any lower. They seem to have the same attitude as walmart. if youre willing to wait, we are willing to let you

Let me start by saying that the fellas at the counter were very kind. They are incredibly busy, so even with an appointment I had to wait longer than I thought I had to. But, that wasnt my issue. Call me picky, but in my hour and 15 minutes waiting for my rear left tire to be replaced, 3 people came in to wait for service without masks on. Nobody said a thing to them. Unacceptable. Businesses need to be held accountable for enforcing standards in a pandemic, and they failed to do so.

The folks at Discount Tire are personable, helpful, and professional. I was so pleasantly surprised to find that they removed a nail and plugged my tire at no expense. The kind, courteous treatment ensured that Ill be back when I need a set of tires! My husband has purchased several sets here and was treated just as wonderfully. He says the price is excellent.

I was helped by Dawson he was nice but waited an hour to check in once I checked in was informed to come back at 230 and they be ready. I got here at 230 and was told theres a few cars in front of you it should be 30 min. An hour and a half later and 7 to 8 cars later I was finally seen, being more informative on wait times and giving correct appointment times would be greatly appreciated.

The employees at the asheville discount tire store were fantastic in helping me with a tire repair. i was visiting from out of town when i picked up a screw in my tire. i was worried about driving hundreds of miles back home with a bad tire, so i brought my car in on a busy saturday. they not only repaired my tire, but also made arrangements for me to pick up my car after they were closed. most amazing - there was no charge! these gentlemen extended awesome customer service. thanks guys!

Buyer Beware!!! This used to be a good company. Its all changed. Now, they never answer their phone, their on-line system is terrible. You CANNOT contact them!! They misrepresent their available stock of tires. They try to hard sell you on worthless protection plans. They misrepresent their total prices and fees. Ill never go back. I used their on-line tire finder to choose tires for my car, found them, drove all the way in to their store and had the on-line quote approved in person by a manager. When I returned to purchase I was told they had no tires of that particular brand, type and price that would fit my car! Exactly the opposite of what I had confirmed by the manager. This is BAD business practice.

Called on the phone to ask about price matching tire rack, was told they will. As well as the website states they price match. When I arrived the guy behind the computer refused to price match because the tires on tire rack were nearly half price.

Had an appointment to get some tires I ordered through discount tires and they told me it would be a week but I never heard from them since and all my calls result with me being on endless hold

Had to wait almost 4 hours!! When I arrived the man said maybe 2 hours at the most. Absolutely ridiculous!!

Had roofing nail in tire and plugging was questionable. Tread wear was suggesting new tires, but service rep said they would try to plug with new tires as backup option. Vehicle was left to their mercy. When contacted to pick-up I was told they were able to plug it. I was relieved as they could have told me plugging wasnt possible; hence, new tires needed. I would have accepted it and they would have earned big $$$. Needless to say they put my interest above theirs - saving money vs making money - and to me thats VERY IMPRESSIVE given current environment. Lastly, when picking up vehicle I learned that there was no charge for the service provided. Amen. I will definitely be a lifetime customer when tires are involved. Period.

From the time the kid put air in my tires for me and I decided to have them check my balance on my tires. Which were all out of balance and it was free!!!! Yeah you read that right it was free. I did give both guys a tip which I think should be. Very nice people very quick couldnt ask for anything better

These fine people work very hard and do a thorough job. Despite having to make changes during this pandemic they have maintained quality of service and customer relations. While waiting my turn I saw them deal with very frustrated and rude clients with such professionalism and courtesy. Each of them put a lot of effort into their role and displayed great team work. Was visiting from Virginia, got a flat tire right as we got into Asheville. Discount Tire was the only tire shop in the area that had the right tire size for my car. They gave me a great price and great service despite it being an emergency fix.

This is normally a great place with very knowledgeable employees. However, I had an appointment this morning at 9:00 for a balance and rotation. Almost 10:00 and still waiting. A little disappointed with the service today.

Made an appointment to have tires rotated and balanced. Right on time and within 15 minutes all done. Check out was fast and easy, no charge since I purchased tires from them originally.Close to Walmart and a park along a stream if you have an extended wait. Highly recommend this facility.

As a precaution for going out of town the next day I went and got two new back tires put on my car. The next day I started out on my road trip and about an hour and my car started swerving uncontrollably. One of my brand new tires popped and I was stuck on the road in the middle of nowhere. I had to get my car towed and catch an Uber to the closest Discount Tire. This was not cheap. When I got there they replaced my tire and sent me down the road. Three more hours later that new tire was flat in the middle of Atlanta. This completely ruined my trip. I had to find yet another Discount Tire and have them work on my tire once again. Whatever the first Discount Tire did (in Asheville) when they were replacing my rear tires completely screwed up my trip and tires completely. The second location did not help either as they sent me driving away with yet another tire that was about to go flat. It wasnt until the third Discount Tire in Atlanta that my tires were actually fixed. Im not sure exactly what happened but I would not suggest bringing your vehicle to this location.

Went for a tire patch job. Made an appointment in person at 1:00pm. Waited two hours for a 20 minute job at most. Left because I waited two hours for a 20 minute job. Worst customer service style ever seen at a “mechanic” shop. Would strongly recommend never wasting your time/ day with even thinking these wrench monkeys can do anything quick.

Called and spoke to Drew.....asked Drew if he had tires I was looking for Drew said yes I have 6 in stock.....Told Drew ill be there in 5 min.....get there 5 min later and miraculously they only have 2 in stock now......Get your stuff together.....Needless to say thanks to Drew I will not use discount tire nor will I recommend them to anybody. They also offer a tire certificate that provides free replacement of the covered tire for the life of the tire with no pro-ration. Excellent deal if you have bad roads, potholes, etc. or are rough on tires.
