James provided us the most EXCEPTIONAL customer service and made our ring buying experience both memorable and enjoyable. When we look back on our ring shopping experience, James was the KEY to us finding the perfect ring!! After months of no luck and poor customer service, James was a beacon of hope and POSITIVITY! He greeted us with kindness, listened to what we had to say, took the time to understand our requirements, and most important of all, delivered on results!! He did not pressure us and constantly reminded me that this was MY perfect ring to wear for a lifetime, and I should not settle for anything less. This teamwork resulted in the most beautiful princess-cut engagement ring with a knife edge. Most impressive is his out-of-the-box creative thinking skills -- each time we hit a roadblock, he was the first to offer alternate solutions to get us what we were looking for. For any bride-to-be, I highly recommend James at the Zales Pentagon City. Today is the second time I’ve come in a few months where they are closed early with a sign that says “emergency closure”. Traveling to the mall for the sole purpose of visiting their store and then it being closed is a huge inconvenience. Why don’t they have at least one person working, is everyone having an emergency? Next time I’ll have to call before showing up.

The staff at this location are so wonderful! Jasmine went above and beyond to help us create a custom engagement and wedding bands as well as rushing the order to have them in time for an engagement photo session! Thank you so much to the whole staff, but especially Jasmine! We love our rings and i would recommend working with this jeweler anytime to anyone. Always felt like we were special clients and received the best service!

Bought a ring and 2 sets of earrings. Seems the earrings backs just slide right off after a few weeks. Seems like low quality. I don’t know if I’ll buy again.

After a full day of engagement ring shopping w friends, I had been to 7 different stores with plenty of people trying to sell me on things I didn’t even want. I did an online search to find my perfect ring, saw it was at Zales and gave them a call. James was cheerful and helpful on the phone, and knew exactly who I was when I arrived. Now every time my husband and I come back, they all recognize us and are always so warm and personable. When I went in for Christmas gifts, the sales associate cleaned my rings while we processed payment. I’ve never had a bad experience. I never thought I’d be loyal to a chain jewelry store, but we keep coming back because we absolutely love it there!

I recommend that Anyone who’s interested in buying a gift for their love ones and Or friends go visit Zales at the Pentagon Mall they offer incredible service they don’t pressure you to buy anything they work with you and they help you out figure out great ideas on gifts for family or friends. I worked with Humda today at the Pentagon location and she was BEYOND amazing..! Her personality, her customer service, and her overall amazing energy was phenomenal.! I’m getting married soon and I came in to purchase my wedding band and upgrade my wife ring she absolutely made my shopping experience stress free..!! On top of her amazing customer service she kept everything so clean.! Her and Zufan was cleaning every chance they got and was very prompt with making sure every one kept they distance.! And for another bonus the music they played was perfect to hear..! Ive been looking for quite some time for my wedding band. I stopped in this store once in November and even though I found a ring I thought I liked, but wasnt ready to make the purchase.When I came back a month later Thomas remembered me and spent a good amount of time with me to make sure I found a ring I truly liked and felt comfortable with.Everyone at the store was so friendly and helpful. The customer service here was excellent. I had an issue with an online order and everyone jumped in to help make it right—including the customer department who had to process my return. I was a little hesitant to come in since other locations had received negative reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. I wish I knew the names of the associates that helped me (one of the managers was dressed like Maleficent on that day :)) I would definitely come back to this location for my jewelry needs and would recommend them to others!!

Very poor customer service experience at this location. You can tell the associates care about your initial purchase, and not about servicing you afterwards. I purchased a ring on 11/30 with a completion date of 12/06 to be picked up at the Springfield location. As it is now 12/20 I called to check up on progress. They said it was done (why didnt they call?) but it was not at Springfield. I asked to speak to the person who rung me out and she remembered our transaction but only gave the response, oh sometimes things come up... not sure what that means. I would definitely recommend going to another location or another company.

If youre looking for a PHENOMENAL engagement ring at a FANTASTIC price, Id recommend going to see DIANE @Zales in Pentagon Mall. Shes such a kind, patient, and amazingly helpful lady. NO pressure, NO BS, NO nonsense. I just bought a Vera Wang LOVE series engagement 2ct ring from her for $10K. Shes not only going to get you the best discount, in my case 20% but she will definitely do everything she can to get you where you want to be both budget wise, quality wise, and style wise. Im very happy with EVERYTHING! Shes definitely the BEST!

Zales as a whole... VERY POOR service at the Gaithersburg/Lakeforest Mall location and cannot even get through to this location to ask questions. I purchased a bracelet and necklace for my daughter for Xmas. When I needed to return it guess what happened? The Lakeforest store was closed and this location cannot even answer a phone call.Lakeforest did NOT inform me they were closing up and that is bad business to me!I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE AND IN FACT WILL MAKE SURE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO STOP ANYONE FROM SHOPPING THERE IS INFORMED OF THESE FACTS.I couldnt even find a corporate phone number anywhere to complain about this and dont think they even care.Just like another said, love ya when purchasing but no consideration after that!!!Christina R.M. - Rockville, MD

Went in to ask a few questions about a purchase that Im looking to make stood there in front of the lady for at least 4 minutes while her and the other associate were busy on their phones i wasnt even acknowleged so I left and said THANK YOU really loud before I walked out NEVER will do business at this location Ill continue going to the one in Springfield town center or around the corner to their competitors.. Please train your staff that worked 04/02 @ 7:04 pm that paying customers should come 1st and cellular phones come last.

Wish I could give zero stars...brought a gold chain in for repair, they lose it, get an attitude with us as we waited for two hours for them to find it. Then the manager, James Blackwell promises me that he will call me the next day to resolve the issue and file a claim with loss prevention, never happened. So now Im dealing with people in corporate who could care even less. I guess this is the reason why this store is the least busiest jewelers store in the entire mall, that should have been an indication...Update, the manager finally reached out and filed a claim with Zales loss prevention for the estimated amount. While the manager, James, has handled this situation better than his employees, I wouldnt buy anything from that store, too many others to pick from.

I would give 0 stars if I could. The sales associate who waited on my fiancee and I was completely pushy, and didnt listen to a word we said. We came in to look at wedding bands and were upfront about which bands were outside our budget. She kept insisting but this is your wedding band, this is it . She then peered over our shoulders in complete disinterest when we asked to see some mens bands. She also kept tapping on the stone of my engagement ring with her long nails, which was just plain weird and irritating. Incredibly rude experience, and pushy sales tactics are a complete turn off. We will never return!!
