Omg i picked up 3 items and the the cashier told me that i buy 3 and get one free and i leave and come right. Only for her to move my things over because she was waiting on some more people. I got upset and left the store to me that was not right.

Nancy is a star 😊 shes so sweet and helpful. I find everything i need and sales associates are always friendly. Got my turkey from the oxon hill location HOWEVER this location did have 1 but its gone.

The staff was friendly, professional, and super helpful. I had about 10 coupons and the sales associate walk me around showing me what I could get for each coupon and help.me select fragrances. Outstanding customer service.!

I was in the store a few days ago and the manager Frankee was helping Me with a large return. She was rudely approached by a young lady whom I see left a review by th name of SHIA REN. She was upset about an expired coupon and rudely interjected my interaction with frankee. This customer cursed her and told her that she was having a bad day and that she will take it out on her. Frankee was the most professional and strong person Ive ever crossed to be verbally abused and still smile.

This store location is absolutely terrible.The shelves are dusty, this location does not allow coupons to be used at all.And the manager Frankee is extremely rude, ghetto and unprofessional.This store definitely needs to either shut down or change the management there.

FYI -- This store doesnt accept online returns without the paper slip that was included with packaging. Showed the customer associate the email with the order number and the items I bought, but was told that I needed to provide the paper slip in order for the return to be valid. They offered an even exchange or to refund the current price of the items (which was less than what I paid for). Confirmed with an online Bath & Body Works customer service associate that this didnt follow company policy. Make your online returns elsewhere!

Young lady by the name of Say is always on point when I shop here. Shes very knowledgeable about candles and helps me find great gifts for myself.

I just left this store and it was the worst experience ever. I was greeted from one associate that was standing outside the door. I told her that I was doing a return but don’t have the receipt because it was a gift. I did burn it but it made me sick to my stomach. I called customer service to ask if I could do an exchange since this candle made me sick and had burned it. I was told that I can return it from bath and body works customer service when I called and can get store credit since I don’t have the receipt. I went to pentagon city mall in Arlington Virginia bath and body works. Candace the associate who took me to the register took my bag to start the return. I told her that I didn’t have a receipt since it was a gift. She opens the candle and with an attitude, rolling her eyes asking me for how long I had it, before I could even respond, she cuts me off, as if she didn’t want to hear and calls another associate; maybe manager? I asked Candace if there was a problem and Candace ignored my question. The manager or key holder not sure what she was told Candace that it was fine because it wasn’t fully burned. Candace with an attitude starts doing the return. I had seen customers returned candles nearly empty without a problem or questioned to why it’s being returned. I only returned this one because it really made me sick. Candace’s customer service was extremely unprofessional, not friendly, and very rude. I will not return to this store again, if she’s there. When the return was completed, I thanked her and she didn’t say, you’re welcome, nothing. I looked around the store and decided to leave. The associates in the store, didn’t even greet me and I felt uncomfortable to shop in there. I left and now heading to a different bath and body works, where It’s more welcoming and friendly environment.

Pleasant staff and well kept shop. Dizzying amount of Fall scented candles, each better than the last. Plus, they have plenty of their original scented items from lotions to soaps. Highly recommend for candles

False advertisement for Sunday hours. They’re supposed to close at 600 pm and I arrived at 530 pm. However, the doors were closed and nobody picked up the phone. This was the only store I needed to go to but the only thing I paid for was parking.

I love that BBW has greeters at the door to give you hand sanitizer and a shopping bag before you enter the store. A great way to promote safe shopping without touching a basket that someone else has handled. Kudos!

Let me start off by saying I typically love this location. Typically I come in the day time and it’s two males that are on point with theirscent combination. I contacted this location today at 3:26 pm and spoke to an associate. The conversation was about my coupons still being valid three days after the expiration date. The associate told me that my coupons would be valid and to come in. I raced to this location and arrived at 9:00pm. I picked up my body spray and attempted to pick up my little body cream. Nancy immediately sated that my coupons wouldn’t accepted. No greeting just straight to the point. From the brief moment I spoke to her she was very dismissive. I went on to explain to her that I did call and spoke to someone and she stated how there was nothing she could do. The problem I had with this situation is as a manager she should’ve honored my coupon. Once I told her I spoke with an associate. I always come this location and now I will think twice. I will come in the day time of try to visit the location at the harbor. If I knew they weren’t going to be accepted I would’ve went straight home.

Staff in this locatiion pick and choose who they want to greet and help. They hardly have anything. This is one boring store. Keep your hopes down and low expectation coming to this store. You wont find what youre looking for and asking for help is pointless.

They had so much staff and everyone was very helpful and curious. I love that they make everyone sanitize their hands before entering their store.

Clean and organized

The cashier with the braids/twist with blonde highlights has a ugly attitude. I witnessed her roll her eyes at my friend who was standing in line to check out. We both couldn’t make out the instructions she was giving. I watched her give her this annoyed/disgusted look. I grabbed my friends arm and we left. We don’t beg businesses to take our money -we’ll just go somewhere else.

Love BBW for candles and fragrance. I always stock up on candles after Christmas, they offer great deals.

Have gone during morning and afternoon hrs and so far, friendly & helpful staff. A lady helped me on the sales floor and the male at the register was nice. I went on a day with $3 hand soaps & they had everything nicely stocked! It was awesome.

Worst experience there ever. They cashiers were so rude and I understand it was the candle sale and rhey are busy but dand. One lady said if you are not ready move aside as I was trying to pull up my coupon. They never once said to have it ready. Front greeters were nice

Most of the employees are very nice but they was going to dismiss my discount .Whomever does the mailing put the adhesive on the scannable bar that they needed. If I didnt put up a fuss, they would have charged me full price

Aundre shouldn’t be working at your location. He gave me a attitude and lecture when my barcode wouldn’t show in my email. He made it seem like it was my fault. When I came in last week at the same location. I didn’t have any problems. This store needs more training on customer service skills.

Worst ever visit to one of my favorite stores. This was due to the complete rudeness of the cashier. The employees on the sales floor were helpful but my friend and I discussed as we left that a person has to put in a real effort to be so unfriendly at the register. Still got great deals and excellent events though.

Everyone was helpful. Some were less helpful. Some just dont know the sales to shares whats what. So I got to the counter with the items I was told vaguely were by 2 get 1, that those items werent included. But when we were over at the items it was yes, all these & all the... soooo yeah, that part lol

Store followed covid-19 recommendations.

I accompanied a friend. The scents are a bit strong to my liking. However, they have good sales. If you like highly fragranted scents they have a huge variety.

I don’t know what the deal is, but every time I go to this store, employees never talk to me and always seem to be in a bad mood and have an attitude. Down the road in Tysons, I find the employees to be much nicer and more helpful.

I really enjoyed my experience here today mostly because of the assitance provided by an employee by the name of Drew. He was very helpful, and persuasive. I didnt realize I was upsold until I hit the checkout and saw the balance but never the less I had a fantastic shopping experience. I also like how organized this location is considering the size and everything seemed to be in stock. My only complaint would be that the cashier didnt ask about any coupons because I forgot to use mine that was emailed to me.

Walked in to exchange some candles, at the register the kind lady processed everything and needed a manager override. The manager off hand was rude. Came over and said “first of all these tops don’t belong on these candles they are a part of the metallic candles” I let it go. Then she processes it and while I’m in front of her she says to her associate “yeah you need to watch out for stuff like that cause customers will switch the tops and those candles are $26” and ran off. I jumped in to advise her the candles came like that. She walked away as if she didn’t hear me. I told the associate that she came off very rude and if she wanted to tell you something she should say it in private and not in front of paying customers. The associate apologized on her behalf. Very rude person in general, surprised she even has a job in retail. I shop here regularly and her attitude completely disgusted me.

Was looking for Love and Sunshine purse size lotion and they were sold out!

For some inexplicable reason, this store has been closed for the past week with relatively little explanation as to why. First, it was listed as an emergency. Upon my arrival today at around 1, I found a sign still listing the store as closed, yet it was supposedly going to open this morning at 10 AM. What is so drastic that you cannot find three to four staff members and need to have the store closed for that long of a time period?

After leaving this store tonight; I will not be coming back. I went to simply purchase hand anti bacterial hand gel and noticed that a key chain (anti bacterial holder) was also available for purchase. As I proceeded to the register, of course I was not greeted or ask if I needed help. As the sales associate “Alicia” took my items, I asked what was the return policy because I was repurchasing the same key chain (the emblem was broke on mine); she responds “are you gonna return it every time you hit it against something”. I informed the sales associate that actually I did not hit it against anything, it simple fell off (its glued on the back and honestly for $3.50-I was prepared to repurchase it anyway). I kindly informed her that I never ask to return, I simple ask what the policy was.I don’t usually write reviews but here’s the thing; everybody does not have bad intentions especially for $3.50 products. I warn individuals that shop here to make a good decision and do not go during evening hours. There is an immature associate staff, and staff whom clearly have no knowledge about product quality issues.

I used to work at Bath and Body Works in the past for six years. We always took coupons three days before and three days after, The manager would not allow me to use my coupon, even tho it was only one day past due, plus she had an attitude. I will never come here again and purchase my items online from now on.

I went to this store on December 26th and was really annoyed by en epmloyee named Jon that was incredibly rude towards it’s costumers to the point where he was being unprofessional and was treating the costumers including myself really bad. I really hope I do t get to see Jon again on that Bath and Body Works again and if I do, he better have a complete different attitude. The rest of the employees were really helpful.

This is THE WORST STORE WITH THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD!! Management staff is utterly rude, incompetent, and dont adhere to bath and body works policies... it seems like they make it up so they can do as little work as possible. I had to call customer service myself because they would only offer me store credit for my online purchase. I spent over 30 minutes on the phone with a representative who flat out told the manager she was WRONG! He then had to walk her through the process so I could have my return credited back the way I paid...all on my cell phone. In addition to that, both associates working the store at the time spent most time in their back room, and when out front just kept talking about food... completely ignoring my request for no bag when I purchased a wallflower; I had to physically take my item and receipt out of the bag after asking for no bag 3 times. Horrible, awful, and gives bath and body works a bad reputation.
