We moved from Iowa back to Illinois today and went with this storage unit due to location and price. We were warmly greeted by Bambi. She was kind and friendly and was so accommodating with getting us set up and took us on a tour of the facility. She even walked us up to our unit to show us where it was. Very clean facility, easy in and out with a large covered garage to pull in and load/unload your things. 100% would recommend!

Self storage with excellent service. Here, a friendly team of professionals, always clean and sweet smell, round-the-clock access. Here they can accept your parcels and letters and keep them for you, if necessary, they will call you. The necessary components (boxes, tape, etc.) are always available. RECOMMEND!!!

Jackie and her team were fantastic!!! I needed to store my stuff for a month in between moves. The place was clean, extremely secure, and I was provided with fantastic service! When I was moving out Jackie even helped make sure the elevator was ready for us. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Wonderful experience--I rented a unit while my husband and I were in the process of moving and the units were always clean and access was super easy. Plenty of carts and moving dollies available at all times. I highly recommend this location!

Very clean units. Kristen was awesome! She gave me a tour and was very helpful and friendly. The paperwork was quick and painless. And when youre all set to move in, they have dollies/carts to use all lined up by the door. Highly recommend!

I have used this storage for a few years. We have two units. The best storage facility in the neighborhood. The facility is always very safe, very clean, very easy to access during hours, pull directly inside and available trolleys to help you move your things. I have spoken with many of the managers there whenever I go to make my monthly payments and they are always very helpful, friendly and professional. The new manager, Ms Jackie is one of the best. Last month I saw her outside sweeping up the leafs in front of the building. Wow! I said, Ms Jackie, what are you doing and she replied, keeping busy. That is awesome. Someone who really cares about her business. Ms. Jackie is always professional, willing to help, never overwhelmed when more customers are there for help and always willing to share a little conversation. Lets keep her at this location. Kudos to Ms Jackie and the entire staff who keeps this facility the best and safe storage in the neighborhood.

I’m so happy and pleased I chose this storage facility because the service and cleanliness is outstanding! Jackie is the manager, but she has become more like family. She has a heart of gold, i had a hardship last year and she was my guardian angel throughout. She manages the facility and her staff very well, the staff is very knowledgeable and respectful, they never made me feel bad or looked down upon me for falling behind, their only concern was helping me to keep my property. We had occasion to use this storage facility for about six months as we were transitioning between homes. The facilities are very nice; clean, easy to access, drive inside to load/unload, trolley to move your stuff, etc. The staff are friendly and helpful and the auto billing to my credit card every month made payment easy. I would very much recommend them.

I had a 10x20 Storage Locker at the Safeguard Self Storage in Lombard Illinois for 3 years. I loved my storage experience. The facilities are always clean, temperature controlled, and accessible. I really appreciated that the bathrooms are clean and tidy, and the loading areas are spacious too. I really enjoyed working with the staff. They were always extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I also really appreciated that they were very precise with the paperwork and made sure everything was spelled correctly and all of the fields were filled in correctly.They really take pride in their work and facilities. What made this clear to me was a time where I accidentally tracked some mud into the building with my dirty boots. Without me saying or doing anything, they cleaned up the mud chunks left immediately. I intended to pickup the mud chucks myself before I left, but they were on it so fast that I didnt even have a chance to clean it up myself!To complete the package, their prices are highly competitive as well.I would highly recommend the Lombard Safeguard Self Storage facility to anyone looking for a premium storage experience. They really are the best!

Not all storage facilities are created equal.This could quite possibly be the cleanest, most accessible and best priced facility Ive ever seen.Not only are the employees super friendly but they leave carts for their clients to help them move items from their cars (which can be housed in inclement weather but there is no sign of dirt, webs or any debris to be found.So in closing, great staff, facility and prices. What else can you ask for?

I have personally rented a storage unit in the past and and my company has also rented a unit at the Safeguard Self Storage in Arlington Heights for the last 7 years. We have continued to use the storage because we know that it will be a clean, safe and temperature controlled environment for our documents and supplies. The staff could not be any nicer. I have dealt with James Spears, the Manager at this location for the last 5 years and he is awesome! He will assist you in any way that he can. Alex is also on the staff and she is an asset to Safeguard. If you want a clean, no rodent, storage facility, this is the place to go! You will not be sorry.

I was out of town and they would not give me 4 hours to fly in and pay what I owed. The contents went up for auction, but the facility wouldnt get my lockbox from the person who won the auction that contained legal documents. Other than that the place is clean and climate controlled with security cameras to monitor the different floors.

We moved from Safeguard Darien to Safeguard Arlington Heights last April when we moved our residence. I cant imagine better people to work with. They constantly consistently exceed all expectations and go way beyond what they promise. We basically run our business out of Safeguard.

Ive rented a unit in the past and present at this Safeguard Self Storage in Arlington Heights many time in the last 10 years. Every time when i need a storage I always keep on coming back to this SF in AH cause I know that it will be a clean, safe and doesnt smell like other place . I have dealt with Nick then James, both Manager at this location for the past 10 years, the experience have been Extremely wonderful and noting but the best!!! Recommend many friends and family to this place, You can go wrong with SF in AH

Very clean facility. The pricing is all over the place tho. Be sure u know what it paying and for how long. I dont think theyre INTENTIONALLY trying to be shady, I just dont think they fully understand their pricing structure, so they struggle explaining it to u...

Got a storage locker here. James is good. Josie is o.k. but they company has a bad computer payment system. When you have, them swipe your bank/debit/credit card, the system will charge you for the current month/rent AND THE NEXT MONTHS RENT.This is the 2nd time over the last 4 or 5 years.Once the error is immediately discovered, no one knows how to correct the issue. So the staff has to have someone else where reverse the whole trans action, not just the overcharge. Then then need to do a new transaction for your current rent.The result is, you’re stuck with the reversed incorrect charge billed to you bank card, and Safeguard people blaming your bank. So, I suggest NEVER GIVE THEM YOUR BANK/DEBIT/CREDIT CARD TO SWIPE!!!! In fact, you should do ALL payments online.Update (05/20/17). It seems Gill did this as a REFUND, which will NOT go back to my account for 3 to 5 business days (not including weekends). As Chase Bank said, this should have been done as a VOIDED transaction. Then it would have been immediate, or as his email to me said, by the end of day.Unfortunately, I feel that the flippant attitude of oh well, just accept it. is how the correcting of miss-billing or overcharging is with Gill.Because of this overcharge, who will pay the overdrafts in my account caused by this? Not safeguard... from what I gather. Would they reduce or credit to my account/rent next month? Nope. They follow the golden rule. “He who has the gold, makes the rules.” Once they have your money... they never give it back.The physical facility is not the issue here, or the persons on site. The real problem is the person (Gill) who tried to correct the problem of the overcharge from the antiqued accounting program they have. The program they use automatically populates/applies the next month’s rent when you go to do a payment for the current month. When Gill tried to correct this (as on site people cannot do this), he did this as a Refund and NOT A VOID. As a refund, this has tied up $427.20 of my money while they got in addition to this, the rent for my storage locker for 3 to 5 business day (this does not include the weekend/s or Holidays). As a VOID, it would have been instantly (or the latest, by end of Friday May19TH) returned to my account as per CHASE Bank.At this point, I will not see this hit my account till Wednesday May 24TH the soonest (being optimistic) or Friday May 26TH (again being optimistic) Latest, May 30TH (as Monday, May 29TH is Memorial Day)!!!
