Worked with Guy and Andrew, they were amazing from the first call to the final repair. More ended up being wrong than what we originally thought, and they stepped up taking care of it! It’s always scary when cost comes into play, but they really hit that one in the head and at the end of it made it a very stress free and affordable as possible! So happy I took the chance to try their services, definitely keeping my business!

I was in Appleton for just one day at Lawrence University, in my minivan suddenly indicated a cooling problem, though there were no actual signs of overheating. I drove, as best I could, to Guy’s shop, and he worked me in right away after diagnosing the problem. Had my van back so that I could travel back to Iowa where we live the same evening. Guy was very professional and pleasant to deal with, and most of all did a great job at a very reasonable price. Very highly recommended. With a child at Lawrence for the next four years, I know where I’m headed anytime we have any car problems while in Appleton.

We had an oil changing business tell us a couple expensive things were wrong with our vehicle. We took it to Grishaber Service for a second opinion (because we trust them) and nope nothing wrong. And they didnt charge us to look at it.

We had a very complex problem due to a lack of understanding and workmanship at two other local auto repairs. Guy continued to problem solve and find potential solutions that was always considerate of our needs and was affordable as our car is an older model. The complex problem was eventually fixe because of Guy’s tenacity and pride in his work. Grishabers is a business that can be trusted which is rare. A small business that has not succumbed to larger companies such as Wal-Mart, fleet farm ECT. Still a family tradition. Every time I walk in the door to make an appointment, there is a few older gentlemen , sitting off to the side. Just hanging out, drinking coffee or soda, talking about what ever! One of the mechanics, name is Guy, usually sets up apt. Asking what troubles you are having. Im kinda guessing the other mechanics Names to be Mike, and Kevin. The original owner for many years is Shep( Grishaber). All are good mechanics, and treat you with respect.

I had a great experience with Grishaber Service when I brought my car in for a break issue. They were professional and on top of their game. Had brake line leak and what I thought was an oil leak in an older Ford F150. The brake line they kept me informed of what needed to be done and any change in cost. Fixed what was multiple leaks in the brake line. The oil leak was actually a bigger cost, so for such a minor leak they recommended to just keep the fluid full rather than shelling out a lot of money for it, which we agreed. I will return with my old pickup truck anytime a need for repairs arise.

I am an employee here and if you want honest service at an actual price that makes it feel like something was done for you not the other way around come stop by, take a chair, enjoy a soda and a few jokes.

38 years ago Guy left the fun at the church picnic on a Saturday night to come pull my car out of a ditch. This is a great place. Very great prices and great mechanics. True story, I took my car to car x to get an oil change and filter. Car X drained my oil but told me they could not change my filter because it was TOO tight. I called Grishaber and spoke with Guy and told him what happened. Guy told me he could get the filter off and waive the labor charge. 5 star for that alone. Then I took it in to Grishaber the next week and they only charged me for the filter, if I could give them 10 stars I would.

My son goes to school in Appleton and drives an old car on just about its last legs (wheels). In his four years there the car has somehow made it through and the few times it has needed some work he has brought it here. Not only do they do excellent work-theyre fair and go above and beyond. Reliable and dependable - every time! If you need some work done they are the ones to go to.

There were instances where special equipment or services were needed they did not have the capability of repairing and recommended other reputable and honest businesses to complete major work.

My family have been taking our vehicles here for well over a decade. A+ service and reasonably priced. They also are able to work on European autos. If they are unable to figure something out or not have the proper equipment to fix it they waste no time reaching out to colleagues throughout the valley that would be able fix the problem.

These guys are the BEST. They are always so fast and diagnose so honestly. Took car in we thought it was a $200 problem which I approved for payment, turned out to be a $50 problem which they fixed accordingly. You might imagine not every shop in the world would be so honest!

The guys at Grishaber did an amazing job! I called them Thursday evening, at the end of the work day, and they told me where to have the tow truck leave my car. First thing the next day they called with a description of the damages and a quote. Several hours later theyre already calling that its all fixed up, and will cost less than they originally thought! I have used Grishaber in the past, and have been thrilled to work with them again. They are honest and patient with me, when its obvious I dont know much about cars. While I hope I dont need more work done on my car, if I do, I know Ill call Grishaber first!

During the cold snap of 2019 I was in town for work from Minneapolis. My truck wouldn’t start so they came out and picked it up and got it back to their shop. They tested the battery and and found that the battery was fine. They also found that my vehicle has a delay at start up when it’s -25 degrees out. They charged me nothing for finding this out. They spent a couple of hours working to make sure the vehicle would get me home safely.They even came to my hotel to pick me up so that I wouldn’t have to spend money on a taxi to pick up my truck from their shop. Honesty and integrity go a long way with me and I see plenty of these traits in this garageI can’t thank Guy and Austin enough, they went above and beyond.

I always come here for my cars needs. This is a crew thatll bend over backwards for you. At one point Id put a dent in my car and knocked off a mudflap, and during an oil change, I asked them if they could fix it. They did with no extra charge!
