DC Auto was recommended to me to inspect a sound I started to hear while driving my hybrid. From the initial phone call to picking up my keys, Taylor & Chad (both worked with me) were professional, knowledgeable and patient in answering my questions and honestly explaining the diagnosis along with their recommendation.While the scope of the required work on this hybrid was beyond what they can provide at this time, they were extremely honest in their assessment. They could have started the work and then part way through said hey, we dont have X hybrid tool; we cant fix this and charge me.Honesty and truth in doing whats best for the customer - two things I believe differentiate a great mechanic from everyone else - were clearly on display during my first visit to DC Auto Repair. I recommend bringing your vehicle here when in need of diagnosis and service!

DC Auto never lets me down. I feel like a VIP anytime I’m there, but in reality they treat everyone like a VIP. I trust them and you just don’t get that with other repair shops.

Engine had a miss. DC Auto determined the problem was a ignition coil pack and the ignition module. Replaced both with aftermarket parts and engine showed no signs of failure using a scanner. Just wish the replacement parts werent made in china.

I had a low tire pressure warning on my way to work, and Chad and his crew pulled my Cherokee in immediately to take a look. Turns out I had a nail, near the edge of the tread. When a plug didnt seal the leak, they removed the tire and placed a patch inside. I was in and out in 30 minutes, and back on my way to work. The price charged was fair, supporting my desire to continue using DC for all my service needs in the future. BTW The price for a full synthetic oil change is awesome. Thanks Team DC. Jeff C.

The guys greet you by first name as you walk in the door. They care enough to remember their customers, explain what maintenance is coming due and if there are any issues noticed while working on your vehicle. They answer any questions I have and offer some troubleshooting advice before paying extra money. They engage you while waiting, but dont bother you constantly. Very respectful, knowledgeable and friendly! Im glad I started taking my vehicle there.

My car kept dying while I was driving it so my son called D.C. auto and they let me bring it there immediately. They gave me a loaner until it could be looked at. I have so many good things to say about these guys, Im almost left speechless. Being a young woman, Ive struck out with auto shops that I felt were talking to me as if I didnt know anything, and preferred it that way.Alan and Taylor always have a warm welcome for me, and I always feel comfortable asking questions. Not once have I felt like I was being over-charged or spoken down to.I had a car that was on its last leg. Trying to extend its life, I was in the shop frequently. Alan was always understanding of my budget, and would let me know what needed to be repaired immediately and what might still have some life in it. A couple of times I found a sale on a part, had it shipped and they installed it without hesitation (although when Ive checked for parts online, they usually have a better deal anyways).Ive had my car towed twice to the garage, and once when I didnt have a lift home, Taylor kindly gave me a ride. Where else could you find service like thatWhen my car was finally a goner, the shop didnt charge me. Before buying my new car, I asked them to take a look at it. They found things that needed to be replaced before I bought the car, and saved me over a grand in future repairs. Their mechanics are thorough and talented.I feel like I have a shop full of dads on my side, and cant recommend them enough.

Fast, courteous, and efficient. I recently moved here from Arizona and I have found my go to auto repair. There weren’t many like this back where I’m from. Highly recommended.

They quoted me at $250-$300. Actual cost was $215.85 for almost 2 hours of labor and an oil change. I also had to stay while they repaired my 2014 Chevy Traverse, which meant they put up with me as well as my almost 4 year old and 14 month old for 2 hours. They were very kind, respectful, and understanding of the situation. Very honest and timely work as well. All around excellent service! Thank you DC Auto!

DC Auto is my new go-to auto shop in the East Appleton area. They do pretty much all repair work, and do it with quality and integrity. I can’t say enough about it...highly recommended.

Highly recommended. Had them replace shocks/struts, install an add-a-leaf and put on new tires in my truck. They were quick, affordable and kept me updated throughout the process. I had been going somewhere else for years, but that place decided to stop installing customer supplied parts so I had to give another company a try. DC has always treated me fair, they made me aware of safety issues with my car and I was able to get them fixed. I think the prices are fair for the time they put in and for how well they communicate with me. I feel that as a single female sometimes mechanics see you coming and take advantage, I have never felt that way at DC, they are always honest and I keep going back to get my work done there. Needed a front end alignment after gently bumping a curb in a roundabout. Dropped it off after hours using their convenient drop box, and it was ready the next day. Alignment was perfect and the email app that shows all your service history is really a helpful tool for someone that doesnt always keep track of his vehicle service schedule. Thanks Taylor!

Brought my vehicle here on a recommendation from a family member. Im glad I did. The entire staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The owner came out and walked me through everything that was needed for my vehicle and did so in a way that I could understand (I am not mechanically savvy), and did so without making me feel like an idiot. I sent a message to the business around 7:30 am and I was impressed by the immediate response. I needed to have a brake line flushed and expressed that I had to be to work by 3pm. I dont know if I was squeezed in or if they had an opening, but I was serviced the same day. After taking my car back,Chad, came back out to the waiting area to show me a picture of my drums (that I had just replaced somewhere else) and how they needed to be completely redone because they were not installed correctly. Everyone was friendly. The atmosphere is professional and welcoming. As a person who knows nothing about cars it was important for me to find an auto shop that I can trust and feel comfortable at. DC Auto provided me with just that! I will be recommending them to all my family and friends.

I was so pleased with DC Auto!! As a young female with little knowledge of vehicles, I often worry about mechanics taking advantage of that and charging me excessive amounts of money. DC Auto took such great care of me and my vehicle and I did not feel ripped off for even a moment. I spoke to the same person through out the two day process and Ryan was kind and straight forward with me. The mechanics worked so fast (as I had a lot of work done) and did a fantastic job! My car runs like new! The communication was wonderful as they called me to inform me of what they found and all the costs before they did any work. I even purchased some windshield wipers that I was going to replace myself and I left them in the front seat, but when I picked up my car they had done it for me! I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for an honest, fast, and reliable mechanic. I seriously could not be happier. I have been to many mechanics in the past and these guys are top notch!!

I had my first repair at DC today. Ive been there for oil changes before and felt the service was great so I thought I would give them a try for a more expensive repair. I had the same symptoms a few years ago and had it repaired at another good shop for over $200. The bill this time was under $100! They found a used part that saved a lot and did the repair quickly which saved even more. They are friendly and honest and I will be back the next time I need a repair.

I started going to DC Auto a few months ago. The dealership was getting pricey, inconvenient, and honestly....untrustworthy.DC auto has good base pricing, plus coupons often available (for oil changes or other services) to bring it down even further. The guys there are friendly, knowledgable, and honest. They gave me the cheaper options first rather than a full on up-sell.On one occasion I took my vehicle there without an appointment. The muffler sounded like it had a hole or was disconnected. I just stopped on my way home to see if they could take a quick peek, and put me on their calendar. From the looks of their calendar, it was already pretty busy in there, but they not only checked it out, but got it fixed up in 15 minutes.Ladies who also take in their own vehicles.....I know the treatment we can get out there. Telling us that we need more than we do, conflicting information, condescending behavior (yes - I already know the wheels are on the bottom of the car), labor estimates being off, etc. You wont get that at DC. They will respect you enough to assume you know the basics. If you need more information they will gladly offer it up.Thanks guys!

If you want to be treated honestly and fairly and pay a reasonable price for auto repairs, DC Automotive is THE place to go. Chad and the guys are absolutely the best. I had been at a brand name dealership and they gave me a list of things that needed to be fixed or replaced on my car that totaled several hundred dollars. After they fixed my pump for the windshield washer fluid (done $45 cheaper than quote at big brand store) they told me that none of the things on the list needed to be fixed or replaced! Honesty at a repair shop, how refreshing. I have my mechanic for life and tell everyone I know to go here. Thank you DC for having such integrity!! :-)

Let me start off by saying how friendly the individuals at DC auto repair are. They are courteous, understanding of the client and willing to take the time needed to explain what was wrong with my vehicle. The service was extremely fast, and very reasonable. I would strongly recommend taking your vehicle to them for any and all repairs needed for your vehicle. Its nice having a repair shop in the Darboy area that is honest and so reasonable!

First time bringing my car here. Was just for an alignment after I did some work on it at home. They were very friendly and able to accommodate me on very short notice. They did not have an opening until the afternoon, I told them I worked second shift and they said they could work something out and to bring it in. Very impressed with how clean the waiting area is and how friendly they were.

They will give you an estimate and preform the work needed very quickly and efficiently.

I WILL NOT GO BACK. I went in for one thing they messed up something else and did NOTHING to make it right. I had to get it fixed somewhere else. Perfect example of what you see about mechanics wrecking stuff to rip off customers. And yes, it WAS your business. After person contacted me trying to tell me it wasnt DC that I visited and then found out it was. He once again left it just the way it was, no righting the wrong. Why dont businesses just admit they made a mistake and right their wrong?

Based on a recommendation from a friend, Ive been bringing my vehicles to DC Auto for a year now because I was tired of the dealerships constant upsells and my lack of trust in them. What Ive found at DC automotive are much cheaper prices, honest people, and the ability to get my vehicles serviced in a timely manner.Today, I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and Chad told me the last time I was here I used a $2 coupon but it was never subtracted from the invoice. I had no idea and Chad could just as easily not told me. Its not the $2, but the level of trust and honesty I couldnt get at previous service locations. Because of these little things I will continue to bring my vehicles here and share my experiences with friends.Happy! Happy! Happy!

The truck Bergstrom couldnt fix.I took my Dodge 3500 to Bergstrom Dodge in Oshkosh. They had it for several days. They could not determine the cause so their plan was to adress the symptoms at a cost of 3,000.00 . I asked them if this will actually fix the problem ? their answer was it should. With that I had my truck towed to DC Auto. They correctly diagnosed the problem , fixed it at a reasonable price, my truck runs like brand new.Chad and his crew did an amazing job. I would recommend then to anyone.

Few things here. Customer service is good, they make a great effort to get your car in the same day you call and not five days out this is a plus. Convenient for those between Kaukauna and southeast Appleton. Just in the little research I did on stuff needing maintenance on my car I believe they are more expensive. One item I had them replace which I would say could have been done cheaper where I have had work done in the past. Another issue I will have done elsewhere because the cost was significantly cheaper than DC auto. It is not always practical to shop around when it comes to car maintenance so if you do get work done here they will do a fine job. If you have time get a quote from them on paper then use the internet or call around and ask what it would cost would be elsewhere. Then make a decision.Car maintenance is expensive either way. Just be as knowledgeable as possible it is your money.

I went there to have my radio unlocked because a previous place that installed my BCM did not do so. They told me it would take a half hour and would be $45ish. I got there late and they still took my car back right away. It took them 15 minutes and said to have a good weekend because it was a simple program with a tech 2 scanner. Friendly service with a fast turn around! And they could have charged me for an hour or at least a half hour because I was late. Repeat service guaranteed from me for the things I am not able to do!
