Important update: despite the largely positive experience described as follows, be very careful using a credit card there. My $17 purchase somehow got processed as a cash advance, for which my card charged me an extra $10!!!!!! I was able to get it reversed, and notified the manager, but I still dont know if they ever resolved the issue. I dont know how youd be able to tell if its still going on unless you carefully check your charges afterward - but who wants to run the risk of a $10 transaction fee?!! Better to use cash, if you can, as I had a hard time getting the fee reversed.About the rest of my experience: My chips were one day past the expiration date, and prices were a little high, but my avocado was great and the shop has excellent selection. The man who helped me was friendly, quick-witted, and willing to let me practice my limited Spanish. Definitely a good resource for harder-to-find ingredients like dried hibiscus and certain spices. Larger bags of certain dried beans, too -- Id guess 4-5 lbs., but didnt check the label.

Awesome mini market . It have many varieties of goodies. Friendly, cozy and inexpensive place. Once I got inside brought lots of memories of my friends in the Army from that beautiful country.

Nice little latino store. I had visited here a few times years ago and then kind of forgot about it. I wanted to get a soccer (football) jersey and that reminded me I could get one at the Mexico Lindo Mini Market. They may not be carring them for much longer but still a good store that is fun to explore.

Super excited to find this place - you have to try the tamales! The best Ive had in Anchorage - so good! Market has a great selection of Mexican favs, drinks, snacks, and an amazing bakery! Fresh!

The best fresh Mexican bread

We LOVE this place!! The staff is very friendly. Be sure to go on Thursday for the banana leaf tamales and Fridays for the more traditional tamale.

Good store to find some hispanic ingredients but their baked goods have gone downhill. The taste is not very good for the baked Mexican bread. I suggest they bring back those delicious conchas they had like 3 years ago.

Its a small store, but its packed with traditional Mexican foods, and items that you cant find anywhere else in Anchorage. Very friendly owner and employees. The owner welcomed me as a new customer, and offered to order anything that they dont stock already.Having grown up in a Small Town on the border in Arizona, I cook a lot of Mexican food from scratch. Its nice to have a store that stocks the ingredients. I highly recommend Mexico Lindo.

The store is small and it seems still trying to expand its range of products. I am very happy though that they exist. I hope they continue to expand and remain in the community for a long time. I bought some stuff and will return to see if they get anything else new in stock.

My favorite Mexican store, WELL STOCK, the gentleman is very professional taking care of each customer and making sure the store is looking nice and clean, and giving precise information when asked about certain product .

This place is a waste of time.the receiptionist over there cannot speak english.this guy telling me about some laws that President has brought concerning money transfer.He cannot even know his own right and here he is saying something he does not knowIf the owner does not fire this guy he will bring problems to the store.I recommend they fire him or they give him the necessary training on how to talk to customer.His behavior was very rude and apaulingSomething needs to be done cuz the satisfaction of the customer is the main concern

Not greeted by anyone when I came in. Also found dead bugs in the dried Chile Californias. I get that bugs are attracted to them but as a business you need to check what you are putting on your shelf and check periodically for this issue.
