My alternator died on my way to work, they were kind enough to let me get my truck repaired that day. Always professional and friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Service technician was very thorough and determined to find an a/c leak. I appreciate that he didn’t try to over sale me or blow smoke. I will say a little better communication on status an/or completion would help. Over all, great service without all the smoke and mirrors!

Has been consistantly reliable past 5 years until now . Personal change . Had an old car parked 2 years , brought in for an inspection to determine if its worth keeping. Paid over 500.00 for battery oil change and inspection. They told me everything was good. Paid , pulled off lot , could hardly reach speeds of 30 mph . Took it to a more reputable mechanic who trouble shot a faulty exhaust regulator and catalytic converters . Cost of repair exceeded value of the car which had to be scrapped. Tudor expressed no regrets over what I believe to be a mediocre inspection at best. My loss. Save your car and your money , go elsewhere.

Thanks for gauging out my oil pump like an eyeball and reinstalling it incorrectly leaving me with a massive oil leak and a 1200 dollar bill. At least the mechanic that fixed the second time did it PROPERLY.Would not reccomend if it were the last place on earth.

I asked for them to check out why my car was vibrating while turning at low speeds. was told 3000 to 3500 for a bunch of things, none of which they were sure would fix it. They honestly told me to scrap my subaru which is running fine except the issue at hand.Took it home, checked the power steering fluid. It was low so I had to put quite a bit in and the vibration almost dissappeared. I was able to identify more clearly the work needed on my own.worst 100$ for an inspection I have ever spent. I will say that one of the things they told me needed fixing I now believe is the most important thing to replace after realizing the low power steering fluid.Sucks because I had a great experience with them before.

Had used Tudor Auto for a few years and never had a problem.New managment just came in so I decided to take my car in.They upcharged me nearly 100$ for providing my own Brand New Belt and Sparkplugs on top of the PURCHASE price for them providing the parts.When I called and asked about it, the manager laughed at me and said Of course we will charge you more.

Man oh man, I was driving to work and my car started acting all funky and had the wibble wobbles. I have zero knowledge about cars so I called the closet mechanic/shop and they got me right in and fixed it while I was at work and the lady at the front desk was the nicest little soul ive met in Anchorage in a long time. We have already schedule our van for new brakes next week. Great people. Great service.

My battery symbol came on, I took it to you guys first. All you guys diagnosed the vehicle with was a bad alternator, and you wanted to charge me 7-800$ for the fix. After bringing it to a separate mechanic, who tested the alternator at two different stores, the alternator worked fine. The pcm on the engine was broken and you guys didnt have a clue and didnt tell me at all. I feel like I dodged a HUGE bullet not having you service my car. You charged me 115$ for doing nothing at all on my car, and a wrong diagnosis. I would not recommend you to anyone.

Just unprofessional front desk, took my truck and told me it would be done the next day when I called the next evening they had not even started. Lady at the front desk had no idea what was going on, not sure English was her first language and there was quite a barrier, kept going back to ask the mechanic, no wonder they are behind.

Joe has taken care of our vehicles on three or four occasions now and I am constantly impressed with the quality and value of work. My wifes vehicle will need some work in a couple weeks and Tudor Auto & Truck will be our first call. Thanks again, Joe.

A friend of mine had had good experiences here and they had done honest work, so when I was experiencing mechanical issues I took my vehicle to them. I was told it needed an oil change so I agreed to have it done as well. I should have asked the price because they charged me $99 for a basic oil change. When I asked about the price I was told that that was price for a full synthetic oil change. My vehicle is a 2002 and even I know it doesnt need that.The guy on the phone looked it up and said, Oh, yeah, I guess not. Then I checked the sticker inside the vehicle and sure enough, they used regular oil. I dont appreciate getting scammed because Im a female. I take my business elsewhere now.

I read through the reviews I could find and am laughing to myself about some peoples reactions and experiences with vehicles. If you dont give the vehicle what it needs it will treat you bad, like at the wrong place and time. If my car needs oil or antifreeze, theyd better darn well check it AND FILL it before I drive my car out of there! Thats just safe, careful service. Thats why I go there. They aint cheap-why do you want cheap? Its been years and years that a shop has gone ahead and done work which I havent agreed to have done...Im surprised to read that people think theyve been had. Vehicle repair takes lots of training and the shop has to purchase equipment to keep up with technology. I really like Tudor Auto for their ethics and attitude.

This is a class A shop. The people are fantastic and the service is way above and beyond normal. They are honest and straight forward. Extremely pleased and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone needing service on their vehicle (and have done so).

So my boyfriend and I have been going through them for a year and to our demise we thought they were great. But we both took our trucks there and ended up being over charged for sh** we didnt want. Well in the end the the truck ran nicely so we were alright with it. So this last time his new truck he took in ended up being over $3000 to fix. Like for real? We were pissed. But whatever he was gonna pay it cuz the work was good. Well of course the guy at Tudor knows we make payments to pay or bill off. So yesterday, Sept 6th 2017 I realized I did not see my boyfriend truck there. So we later on found out it was stolen AUGUST 20TH 2017 LIKE FOR REAL RIGHT NOW?????? I think the worst part is they said they wouldnt pay him back or reimburse him in anyway.Horrid experience. Im livid for him and of course we will NEVER RETURN THERE!

I went in for a simple tire repair and they end up filling my oil and antifreeze without my permission, which I was charged for and the guy was very rude, will not go here ever again.I get my oil changed and antifreeze filled elsewhere and this is not what I came herer for, RUDE customer service, no stars should be an option

Terrible Service! Dishonest staff. I asked for one simple task to be completed - replace the battery cables and they did not do it. They replaced only the terminals and charged me $82. When I confronted them that they did not do as I asked, they just gave me excuses. The entire time dealing with these people, they continued to manipulate me to spend more money threatening me that the vehicle needed immediate major upgrades. They did not listen to anything I said and just tried to get more money out of me for things that they couldnt prove were an issue. Stay away, you will get robbed.

Untrustworthy business. I cant believe I used them twice, lied to my face the first time claiming an unrelated problem is causing a no crank no start. The first time they knocked out a front headlight as well, I overlooked that as it is an easy mistake. The second time they wanted in excess of 600 dollars to fix what they knew was broken the first time around in an effort to bleed more cash out of me.Also destroyed some wiring taking shortcuts by stripping sections off instead of checking at the connections like your supposed to.Trust me, this shop knows exactly what its doing… milking you for very dollar they can.

Been doing business with them for years when Verne, the owner, was still in control because he was friendly and extremely understanding that my entire family came to trust. Now the shop is in control of some arrogant guy who smirks and looks at you like youre another chump theyre going to screw over. All I requested was them to use a filter made by my cars manufacturer with Mobile 1 (which, by the way, is their more expensive oil). But instead, he refuses to do service unless they use their sponsors Gold Napa filters, citing its so much better than the filter I requested for. Im sorry, but that lie may work on someone who doesnt know anything about working on cars, but it doesnt make it any less of a lie. Its too bad Verne isnt in control anymore. It looks like the new guy in control is just trying to run the business to the ground.
