Spoke with them on the phone to ask a few questions about a CVT transmission and they were very patient with me and explained all my options and what I should do about getting it repaired. Will definitely take my business to them in the future.

I am so grateful that I took Big Os Auto recommendation on this place. I had two different check engine light codes both related to the transmission range sensor on my used 00 Mercury Mystique. I was hesitant to get it looked at, given that I had heard all kinds of doom and gloom about transmission issues being awfully expensive (and I did not spend very much on the car itself), but I couldnt relax NOT knowing exactly what was wrong with my car. It turns out, my vehicle had an old/corroded neutral safety switch. Rick and the techs had my car back to me in 2 days, and the repair costed a fraction of what I expected. Rick was very thorough when explaining what was wrong with my vehicle and he communicated the price range of repair before even working on the car, which I appreciate. I felt valued as a customer, which means a lot since I am still learning a lot about basic car maintenance/functions. I will gladly refer them to anybody else I know who is dealing with transmission problems. For now, my Mercury Mystique is not a Mercury Mistake, thanks to the guys at Quality Transmission!

Well I went in to try to get some shifter linkage adjusted in my classic 1980 Chevrolet. Turned out I needed a whole new clutch. I was a bit skeptical at first about them preforming surgery near the heart of my beast basically. But the owner was totally right, it’s like night and day now. Especially shifting my old “Rock Crusher”4 speed transmission into some of those higher gears it just feels like butter now when I step on the pedal and release it. Thanks guys you did a good job and it has been a surprise but needed improvement for my overall driving pleasure.

Ive been a customer for over 7 years, and being local business owner, I felt it was time to let others know about this shops honesty, integrity, and passion to fix anything transmission related NO MATTER WHAT! Three things i love about this company. 1. They always tell me the cost up front and suggest what they think is needed to fix the problem. 2. They handle every job with care and make sure to explain what they have found and why they think it is the problem. 3. In all my times here (15 or so vehicles have been fixed over the years) if there is ever a problem with their fix, they always welcome me bringing it back in and quickly repair the minor issue. In one case they even fixed something that was unrelated free of charge. Very nice guys and they treat you like a neighbor, always! Great work Green, Rick and the crew!

They gave me a pretty quick turn around time and about $1000 less than another shop was gonna charge and very easy to talk to for someone like me whos never taken a car to a shop before.

Did a great job on my Toyota transmission rebuild and upgraded the oil cooler to a much larger one that bypasses the radiator. A different shop (B&B TRANSMISSION!) had crashed another customers vehicle into my truck and then treated me like garbage, I’m glad I ended up at Quality Transmission. Took my truck here to have the transmission looked at, turns out there was nothin wrong with the trans. They charged me a fair price for diagnostics but that was it.No you need a whole rebuild.

The transmission on my RV went out whole traveling in Alaska. Scott,, the tow person, recommended Greene at Quality Transmission. I have never had a better recommendation!. They diagnosed the problem on Tuesday and we picked up the repaired RV on Friday.Considering the circumstances it was a great experience and the repair price was very fair. Call Greene for transmission work. You wont be disappointed.

The warranty is only good for Alaska, they replaced my transmission and 6500 miles later the replacement transmission is trash, but since I move to Idaho they took me for over 3 grand. All over a $30 transfer case seal that they didnt replace on a vehicle with 90 thousand miles on it.Wont ever go back and am telling all I know of their lousy customer service!

I just bought a yard car and was having some noticeable transmission problems and took it down to these guys after taking a look on the Google ratings, I have to say these guys are absolutely professional and have tons of integrity. Rick in particular was very helpful and even took some time out to answer some questions I had. If you are having some transmission problems, please dont hesitate to give them your business, if youre looking for a trustworthy mechanic! These are going to be my transmission guys in the future.

I cant say enough good things about Rick and Quality Transmission. We had transmission issues with our vehicle, and I had two recommendations from two friends. The first place was great, I had a great experience with them. They told me the tranny was shot and that it would be $5000 for a new one. The second opinion came from Quality Transmission. Rick clearly explained diagnostic costs up front, which I thought were fair, then he explained in detail how my transmission works and why it was failing. His diagnosis was the same- $5000 for a new transmission. He suggested I call the dealer because my vehicle has a history of issues... they may have extended the factory warranty. Low and behold- he was right. I called him back and he sounded genuinely happy that the dealer was going to fix it for me.How many mechanics have you met that offer practical, professional advice to solve a problem, then are excited when a $5000 bill walks out their door because you took their good advice?I hope I dont have to deal with transmission issues ever again... but if I do, my first call will be to the dealer to check for extended warranties, then, (since I will never be this lucky again) my second call will be to Quality Transmission.

I recently brought my Dodge Charger to get worked on after multiple shops could not diagnose my issue. I knew I was in the right place the second I started talking to the front desk about my issues; the mechanics came out from the shop to listen to me describe my car symptoms and they took it from there. I can usually tell if the mechanics are skilled and with my first impression these guys look like they have some experience. I never want to drop my car off for diagnostics and some punk kid comes to grab the keys; I am sorry but it takes experience to diagnose a vehicle. After telling the front desk I needed the car back that day they immediately went and grabbed my car and started working on it. They were able to find a multitude of issues that other shops were unable to diagnose. I moved up from Kenai and desperately missed my trusted mechanic, I am happy to report I have found a shop I trust and the only shop I will bring my cars to.

Rick, Greene and the rest of the Quality team are fantastic. Ive taken a couple of my transmissions to these guys and I will not go anywhere else. The prices are very reasonable, the quality and workmanship are top shelf and the customer service is great. They stand by their work, they are very knowledgeable, and are always a pleasure to deal with.

Fair price good staff definitely would reccomend them again. Just got a rebuilt transmission for my Silverado.

Didnt end up saving money here over my dealership. Tech improperly mounted flywheel and had to tear down entire transmission to put it back on the right way. They didnt meet their timeline for the service, repeatedly, and offered me nothing to make up for the delays. I mean I dropped this off on a Wednesday to be done Thursday. Thursday comes and goes, maybe Friday. Friday comes and goes. Monday its done! But we screwed up. Tuesday its actually finished.The work was done right, but its not my fault you botched it and it took extra time to complete. I shouldve asked for a discount, I shouldve been offered one. Cest la vie. Wont return for future business.

Had issues with my 3.7L jeep. Thought that its was transmission, because I couldnt check fluid level or condition myself nor did I have time planning and packing for my move down to the lower 48. Brought it to Rick, he looked at it throughout the day, ran a diagnostic, and found a bad coil pack. Came time to discuss the damage to my wallet and Rick just looked up and said no worries. Had an issue with my Jeep being stuck in Limp mode. I took it to another transmission shop beforehand where I got news that the tranny was dying and itd be about $2500 to fix. I didnt feel comfortable with this mechanic and after some research ended up calling Rick. He was super helpful, explained the process of what he was going to do to check my Jeep out and said hed get back to me as soon as possible. After dropping my Jeep off, Rick called a few hours later and explained the damages. It turned out my PCM was bad and needed to be replaced and that the tranny was perfectly fine. Rick ended up saving me about $1400 that I would have spent at another mechanic. My Jeep runs excellent now and I couldnt be happier. Id highly recommend Rick for both his work and excellent customer service.

Called them about my O/D light is on. They said to drop it off the vehicle off a few days later, only to find out they don’t do transmissions. Wasted money on getting my vehicle towed.
