I was rear ended on 6/11. The other Driver had State Farm and with them paying for it, I took my car to Fix Auto. Overall, im very happy with my experience and fixed car! A couple negative things upfront and I’m not entirely sure if it was due to State Farm or Fix, regardless- Fix called me to set up an appt to get my car in. They asked if I needed an estimate and since I wasn’t the one paying I said I didn’t need one, they and State Farm agreed. When I took my car in a few days later I waited about 30 minutes and a gentleman came and gave me an estimate (which again, I didn’t want) he let me know that the parts should be in by 7/4 and I could drop it off then. I ended up dropping it off on 6/30 as I had travel plans. When I returned on 7/16 my car still wasn’t done and they were waiting on parts. I understand that it’s a crazy time right now but I thought I might be able to get some sort of ETA not just “waiting on parts”.Ashley and Alexa at the front desk were fabulous though!!! They relayed all the messages between the mechanics and I and were super sweet. They were helpful when I needed to come in and get my toddlers car seat out of the car seat when I had returned from my trip and were always pleasant to work with. I truly do recommend Fix Auto on 5th Avenue. When my car was done they had detailed the inside of it and it is gorgeous again :) im very happy with their hard work, overall. :)

Add rear body damage on our Lexus RX 350. FIX AUTO replaced and painted so it looks like new. We are very happy with their work!

TLDR; took almost three months to fix my car, accused me of fraud, lied about parts, lied about status, paint looks good now that car is doneAfter initial estimate was made(march) and the plan agreed upon we paid them upfront so they could order the parts we agreed to get. The part (bumper) that we wanted and they ordered for us took over a month to show up. They called us and told us the bumper was in and they were ready to start the work. (We also were going to have them paint the hood and other fender, so it would all match nicely, out of our pocket.) when we showed up they had no idea that we had ordered an other than stock bumper and wanted the other paint work done and acted like we were trying to commit fraud. I knew right then we should leave, I told the front office that we should just cancel the whole thing and we would take our money back and the bumper they ordered for us (obviously paying for the part+shipping) he said he would have to figure out the cost. Some how some way they convinced my wife to not walk away and she wanted to use them still (eye roll emoji) so we go back almost 2 weeks later. We drop the car off and are told there is no bumper, our only option is to use the factory one. They said it wasnt possible to put a different bumper on the car. My wife decided she was ok with that (bigger eye roll emoji) and left the car for what was supposed to be 7-10 days on day 10 they texted us and said your car will be ready next week. next week comes and goes no update, following monday text stating car is in paint and will be ready this week. The week ends no update, following week get a text that they had to order a part for the bumper and it hasnt come in. wait another week and finally get the call that the car was done (June). The painter did a good job. but the office people are straight up garbage I will never use this place again and i will most definitely try to discourage anyone else.

Brought my 1995 Tacoma in for some damage to the front end. When I got my truck back it looked like it had just rolled off the assembly line. Fix Auto knocked 25 years off my truck and I couldnt be more impressed. Communication was fantastic, I received text updates on the status of my repairs regularly and could always get a hold of somebody if I needed to. I will never bring my truck to anybody else.

Took my car to Fix Auto after a fender bender.They estimated 7 working days, I got it back in 5.Employees were pleasant & professional.They send you text updates about the progress and handled all the claim paperwork with the insurance company.

This repair was my first and I had no idea what to expect. They got me in the next day for the evaluation and they went over step by step with me. They said that it would be about 1 week and a half but it only took them 4 days. My car looks great and I think they even detailed the inside. What ever they did I am more than happy. The exceeds all of my expectations. I hope I never need them again but Id I do I know where to go.

I have used this company many times, all employees I dealt with from start to finish are so attentive, professional and top notch . The job is always done right and my SUV looks great when I return to pick it up. Recently I needed my vehicle fixed and back in time for out of state company who were counting on my help and the job was completed quickly and I can’t thank them enough. This is my second experience with Fix Auto and I’ve been extremely impressed both times! They are fast, efficient and have the most amazing customer service. I was kept informed through the entire process and they finished with my vehicle ahead of schedule. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!!

They did not restore my cars body to original condition. Panels do not lay correctly, they were so bent that my windshield cowel would not even fasten. They left my wire harness loose and dangling around the side of the engine bay they were working. They even left a grease stain on my interior headliner. They were very dismissive of my concerns and said “the body panels will settle into place”. Try somewhere else before here.

I am posting this as a warning for anyone planning on possibly going to Fix Auto Gambell. My experience with Fix Auto Gambell was the most dreadful experience I have had with any automotive shop to date. Before I say anymore, the customer service representatives were pleasant and easy to work with. Everyone else including the Fix Auto Corporation was appalling inept.My truck had minor to moderate damage. The truck had a completion estimate of 30 days to be fixed. I dropped my truck off on July 9th 2020.On October 29th 2020, 112 days later I picked up my truck completely dissatisfied. Parts were missing, little to no quality control, Scratches all over truck interior ect. I ended up having to take my truck to a different shop to have them fix everything Gambell had messed up. I will never be working with and never recommend anyone to go to Fix Auto Gambell ever.

Fix Auto worked on my truck back in August after I was involved in an accident. It took them a while to fix it because of a holiday and GMC strike but they were honest with me, updated me consistently and the ladies at the front desk were very nice. I would definitely bring a future car to them if I had any issues.

Friendly and extremely attentive staff. When I dropped it off they couldn’t get a hold of the car rental company (they wouldn’t answer the phone) so the shop hired a car to take me there. The work was incredibly well done. They kept in constant touch with the progress and I found them to be very professional. Over the years I’ve had to use a body shop several times in the lower 48, and Fix Auto is by far the best in every way.

Took me 2016 Silverado to get some body work, paint and a new rear bumper put on after a boulder came out of no where and hit my truck. I looked at 5 or 6 different shops to do the work and Fix Auto on 5th Ave had the highest rating with the most reviews. I always read the worse ones first and work my way up. After reading their reviews and the reviews of other shops I went with Fix Auto.When I dropped the truck off the front desk was extremely friendly and very helpful. My self and Miranda looked over my truck at the damage and she had an estimate ready in about 10 min. She said it may take 2 weeks or so because of the painting process. They had my truck for about 1.5 weeks and called me to come pick it up. When I picked up my truck I gave it a look over and notice the new bumper I had put on had scratches on it and pain job on the tailgate wasnt very good and the 4x4 sticker on my bed was cut to get a bubble or a fold out of it. Needless to say I wasnt very happy.Miranda came out with me and looked at the truck and agreed this was not right and they would fix it ASAP. She was right the next day I was able to drop the truck back off and picked it back up today and everything looks perfect. My truck looks brand new again and I couldnt be happier. Even with the little issues we had I would still highly recommend Fix Auto for any car repair you need. Miranda and the rest of the staff really are amazing and helped keep the process as stress free as possible. Thank you Fix Auto for getting my truck back to new.

When they tell you how long it will take our cars to be fixed and it took longer than expected. they said our truck will take a week to get it fix and that took almost 2 weeks and they ordered the wrong parts. the truck came out and they didn’t put the sticker on it. they said will have to come back and do it. now we are waiting for our second car they said it will take two weeks but its going on 3 weeks already. No communication whatsoever! we had to call to see what’s going on or when will it be ready! today they said as of Wed 3 2019. no call yet. this is the first time we got our car fixed and i never felt so disappointed in this kind of stuff! my husband told them off when we got our truck and now we are waiting even more for our sec car!

Let me say after going 65 to 0 in 2seconds of a skid. I have been told that due to the tread measurements to my tires. Me. McKenzie who is the manager who I spoke too. Express due to the tread measurements that they expressed that they can not tell the tire tread. Go across the street measure new set. Than measure were I flat spotted. My tires. Very upsetting to me for a professional to not take a word of the 1 time owner that full coverage I pay to be told 2 more days. We have to get State farm to inspect. I personally took my car to the dealership mini cooper of Anchorage to have them personally look at my vehicle for tire damage. There report make sure you get new tires as there flat spotted. Mark is my salesman he,will be a witness to this. Fix auto must not do this to there customers. The receptionist was awful and caused this by leaving not a full detail as me. McKenzie told me.Anchorage citizens please pick another car body shop. As they cause to much drama. As I reported to them look out your window what across the street. Mini Cooper dealership brand new tires there your measurements. Ask the expert. The dealership head mechanic. Who together with a micrometer measured the depth flat spot from skid. I wouldnt even waste my time reporting this. But all customers need to know how they make there session. Sad never again fix auto you lost my business and many more.

DO NOT TRUST FIX AUTO! They lied to my insurance company and said that they had my car for repairs for only 4 days instead of the NINE DAYS they were in possession of my vehicle, from the day I dropped it off to the day they said it was completely repaired. As a result, I was reimbursed for a fraction of my car rental. My insurance carrier has their appraiser at this location, but I have always taken that estimate to a body shop that my employer uses and I know to be reputable. However, this time, I thought Id give them a try, since my insurance carrier seemed to trust them. Huge mistake! Never again! Their hours are a joke as well. I got a voicemail on Friday near 5 pm that my car was ready to be picked up. They close at 5 pm, and they are closed all weekend. Because of their very limited hours. I was not able to pick up my car until the following Wednesday and Im not getting reimbursed for those extra days either. Avoid this place! Through incompetence alone, they will f*** up your situation!

Fix Auto 5th Avenue did a wonderful job to the repairs to my Jeep. USAA recommended the shop and now I see why! The repairs looked great, wonderful customer service, they kept me up to date, and they even cleaned my car when it was done.

Not only was my car fixed perfectly, the customer service was impeccable! AND there was even a little mint in my car when repairs were complete! Needless to say, fix auto is the ONLY auto body shop I will ever use!!

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not, DO NOT take your vehicle here no matter what you do. Seriously. I took my SUV to fix auto to repair some minor damage. After the parts came in I dropped off the vehicle so repairs could begin. I got a call two weeks later and was informed that my vehicle was involved in an accident. FIX auto was backing my vehicle out of a service bay while an employee was pulling a large truck into their lot. I was told that the driver of the truck got their foot stuck on the gas and they ended up t-boning the drivers side of my suv at a high rate of speed. The estimate was over 8k for the damage they did to my vehicle. They have had it almost 4 months... I got it back today and there was a new tear in the seat that was not there before. They say they detail the car before giving it back but it looked like a bomb went off inside it or more likely that it was sitting in a dirty shop for 4 months with the windows down/doors off. There is brown dirt ground into all of the seats that was NOT there before. it is absolutely disgusting - i didnt even want to sit in it. In addition to the tear in the seat cushion (it looks like possibly a burn) the part that reclines the back seat was broken. When I asked them to keep it to fix it they said no and that someone would call me on monday. Meanwhile - this is my only vehicle to drive my 3 small children. I cant believe they would give it back to me in the condition they did. I am most upset because it wasnt like I was in an accident and took it to them... THEY ARE THE ONES THAT CRASHED MY CAR!!!!! I will be lucky to ever sell it for half its value and it is all their fault.... The response I got from the shop was - Oh, at least no one was hurt. Yes, I am thankful no one was seriously hurt but no one has ever even said sorry about the severe structural damage the did. DO NOT USE FIX

Unfortunately I cannot give a high rating to the establishment. First of all I will say that at this point my car looks like it was repaired nicely and does look good, I did however just pick it up yesterday and have not thouroghouly looked it over. However, my rating is low based on the customer service. This office seems as if it is completely unorganized. I brought my car in for an evaluation and estimate and THE NEXT DAY I received a call asking me to bring my car in for an estimate and evaluation. The day I was set to pick up my car I did not have a ride to my car and was informed that they do provide a shuttle service and arranged a pick up time. I live on base and they apparently do not have base access so upon meeting the shuttle at the gate (which only has 1 hour parking) I learned that the shuttle they are referring to was a cargo van with one passenger seat. I called the office to inform them that I have a two year old (which they knew initially) and there is not room in this vehicle for two people much less a carseat. They did not try to help find another ride they essentially said thats unfortunate and I had to pay $30 in cab fare to get us there. I would have rated them higher had their customer service been at least AVERAGE, however I would not recommend going here and from previous ratings I feel I should be lucky my car looks okay.
