Amazing service ! brought my daughters iphone into store because the home button was making a god awful noise. Jeremiah was so helpful , not only was he so knowledgeable but very professional and courteous. Got my phone back in less than 45 min! And at No charge! He informed me it was just a coupe loose screws and to have a nice day !!!!! Amazing , this was my first time ever going there and i will forever be a customer if needing repairs !!

Got my phone fixed here a while back. The screen was turning weird colors and got replaced well. Upon receiving the phone back the speaker phone no longer worked. I went back less than a day later to try and get it fixed (it worked perfectly before my screen got replaced) but they wouldnt take responsibility. If I wanted to get it fixed I would have to pay full price.

I fell on the ice and I cracked my screen, called CPR and they wanted $379! I call these guys and they said $307 but I could do an insurance claim and it would cost me $50. Saved me a bunch of money got it dropped off and was repaired within 2 hours. Definitely would recommend them!!!

Just as Jason said in the comments before the same thing happened to 2 of my friends and my uncle but his situation was with the home button. And they tried to charge extra for it when they broke it because it still worked even after the screen was cracked and we all witnessed that and made sure we knew what all was wrong with it. And its expensive out here in Ames too get a iPhone fixed its $60-$75 for iPhones 6 to 8 but they charge $100+

I broke the back of my Google Pixel 3. Brought it into Ubreakifix in Ames and with the help of their Google partnership supplying them with OEM parts they were able to repair it back to new condition in an hour. Thanks guys you saved me from cutting my hand on my phone everyday.

Went in to get the cracked screen of my Samsung Galaxy fixed; it was fixed within a few hours. However, due to some sort of mishap, the phone stopped connecting to both WiFi and data. Went back in the same day and they fixed it again. Turns out it was a software issue, which has been resolved and I was shown how to fix it if it happens again.I would like to thank the technician (whose name I unfortunately did not get) as he was professional and stayed late to fix the problem, and offered me a chair as I was waiting for the second pickup. Took a detour to visit this place. While most businesses updated their hours regarding the covid crisis, this place ignored this completely. Even on the door they didnt post any note about unusual closings. Stopped by at 2pm on Sunday. It was closed.

I went to uBreakiFix several weeks ago for help fixing my MacBook. Jon was very helpful and explained the problem and helped me fix it very quickly. I was super satisfied. Then a couple weeks later I went back in because my iPhone wasn’t charging properly. Jon was working again, and he simply cleaned out the charging port free of charge and it was working great! Awesome place that does awesome work!

I stopped in to get my Audio Jack replaced on my Samsung. I drove about an hour and a half to get there and if I ever need anything fixed on my phone, Ill drive there again without a doubt! Dustin fixed my phone for me in about an hour, and was very friendly. He also put a liquid glass screen protector on my phone for no extra charge! We brought a phone in with a broken piece in the charging slot. The tech took the phone to the back to get an estimate. He brought it back 2 minutes later, fixed.He wouldnt accept any payment due to its ease. US Cellular estimated $300. If you have any electronics broken, see these guys. They will give you a fair, up front price and fix it.

Ankeny is more customer service oriented!I called Ames location and was told they couldnt give me any cost information on product repair or replacement without me bringing in the device. I was even told that the manager was overhearing the conversation and saying there was nothing they could tell me without bringing it in. I said I had all the device information, but was still stonewalled. (Im currently out of state and trying to decide if I should just buy something now or wait and repair when I get home.)I called the Ankeny location and the tech took the time to look up the cost for both the repair and device replacement allowing me time to think about my options and make an informed decision.I know theyre under the same ownership, but being blown off by the manager at the Ames store left an impression.

Free diagnostics?! Ive been involved with tech for many years, and virtually NO ONE will take a look at your phone, then NOT charge you if they cant fix it!! I had an iPhone with several problems - I assumed they were all related to having dropped it (the screen was broken), but it turned out to be a motherboard issue. They took the whole thing apart, performed a bunch of tests, explained to me how they knew that it was toast, and put it all back together for me. (Still trying to figure out what to do with a phone with no microphone and no WiFi.) Strongly recommend!

The team at the Ames store is awesome. They quickly diagnosed the problems with our old shelf stereo system and immediately fixed one problem. Although they werent able to completely repair the system, they provided us with contact information for factory service centers that might be able to help us. We are very pleased with our experience with the UBreakIFix team in Ames.

We had a great experience at another store out of state...but not in Ames.Came back home and had a cracked screen on a different phone but the same exact model. Since we had such a good experience at another location we decided to try our UbreakIfix at the Ames location. What a disappointment.Only two months difference and the price on the web did increase slightly, but expect the in store price to vary widely...it will not be the same as advertised.Out of town two months ago $179, current web price $219, then told in the store it was actually $249. They explained that each franchise is allowed to set its own price. I explained that wasnt acceptable.I texted the other store we worked with previously, I can ship it there and have the same thing done for less money than in Ames.The local franchise does not honor the web price advertised for the location.
