I was charged over $220 because of labor and the fact that they must buy gold plated parts. The sensor part they got was $90 when everywhere else online it was only $20 🤔. I also went in with a full tank of gas and a little less than half was left after picking it up after only 3days. Not entirely sure how they managed that. The staff in the service office were polite and helpful which is the only reason for the 2 stars.

Courtesy Motors service department saved our stranded family! Coming back from a camping trip in Hershey, we got the dreaded ‘Service DEF System see Dealer’ error. We only had 70 miles left before limp mode after stopping at a KOA. After calling several dealerships trying to get help, we were fortunate enough to connect with Stephanie at Courtesy. She was super empathetic and got our truck in right away. We needed a DEF pump, which she got ordered and got installed just in time for our reservation window. Check prices of vehicles online, check car fax, search for the car in the area in general. I found prices for the vehicle I was shopping for listed for 30,999 online where as the manager was dead set at 35,000 and then wanted me to trade my car in for less then the worth and have me make a down payment up front. I was able to talk him down but I wouldn’t recommend to any of my friends family or neighbors. As a first time buy from a car dealership you would think you would have gotten better treatment then having been left in a cubicle for hours on end with your kids, and then over priced because your a “female” in a car dealership. I felt like an easy target not a customer.

Normally I dont write reviews unless its to warn people away from a product, but I was so impressed with the maturity of the staff at Courtesy Nissan etc. in Altoona that I figured they deserved the shoutout. I searched for months on end looking for the perfect car, and Ill admit my search criteria was extremely narrow. Out of all the dealerships and used car places (and we all know its NEVER a good experience) that I talked to, every one of them was down my throat and wanted to sell me anything they had so badly. I got a hold of Courtesy and told them what I was looking for and they watched the auction every day for the car. Pretty quickly they came up with something that was only off by the interior color I was looking for (which I decided this one was better) but they worked with me so well on making the deal HOW I WOULD WRITE IT. I had certain odd conditions I wanted met (key fob batteries replaced, and other details about my trade in) and they were able to accomplish all of them, and the car was perfectly washed and detailed when I came to pick it up. They helped me load all my stuff from my old into the new car (which I am absolutely loving). I was afraid I would have a bit of buyers remorse, but I am experiencing absolutely none of that due to how good the purchasing experience was. They accommodated to all of my special requests when it came to doing my own inspection of the vehicle, even if it meant they had to disrupt the service dept.s busy schedule to get the car in there on the lift rack for me to look at. I was absolutely willing to drive 2.5 hours to get the car I wanted from here. The paperwork was simple yet I knew every paper I was signing and it was explained well to me. I was even given a deal on the protection plan I was looking for. They helped me search the VIN #s of cars at other dealerships (only to find out the other dealerships/shops were lying about the cleanliness of the titles).To wrap it all up, the staff here, ESPECIALLY Daniele and Mike, went far, far beyond my needs and expectations to make sure I got the deal and experience I didnt even know existed in the car buying industry. If I was to get another vehicle, I might even wait until these guys were able to get what I wanted in. The pre-owned market is a scary place for buyers, but my experience was one I actually enjoyed, believe it or not. I could text Daniele at any time to ask any question I had, and she was able to help me on the spot. These guys really felt like and treated me like family, and the atmosphere was totally relaxed. I was honestly blown away by the quality of the experience I had here, which you will find very seldom across the country.Therefore they earn my respect and my honest review. Hopefully this helps anyone who is looking for a shopping experience where the staff truly work for YOU.

Would never buy a vehicle here. I stopped in(at the Ram dealership)to get a value on selling an extra car I had to them. The salesperson was nice but when he went and got the manager(taller older guy), that is where it went downhill. He immediately said Im not interested, well what are you trying to do, give it a way or make a ton of money off of it. To which I replied, that is why I am here to get the market value off it. The way he even treated the other younger sales people was not very good. The culture at this place is terrible and I cod feel it as soon as I walked in the door. Knowing this and how I was treated for just a few minutes I would never walk back in to negotiate a deal on a vehicle here. BUYER BEWARE!! This place all seems like they are about the $$$$ and not the customer or its employees. The younger salespeople seemed great and were friendly. Definitely a problem with management though. I then traveled to Courtesy Ford and it is a completely different world there. Management was nice and staff was friendly.

Worst service department ever. Terrible time trying to book an appointment, not very friendly, and are not happy to see you walk in with kids while you wait for service. We needed our vehicle inspected, and between inspections we put on less than 600 miles: sort of sad but we are in our late 60s and have 4 legged babies. This was the second vehicle we purchased there, and probably will continue to look there if and when need be. The staff is courteous and helpful and the dealership is very clean and neat. I had a wonderful experience with Courtesys service department. I had locking lug nuts on my vehicle and the key to take them off had been misplaced. I tried to go to the ram dealer in State College (Blaise Alexander) where they wanted to charge me hundreds of dollars to drill the locking lug nuts off and they couldnt guarantee they wouldnt damage my vehicles rims. Stephanie was wonderful and was able to take care of me. They had the lug nuts off in 20 minutes and I was on my way. I will not take my vehicle anywhere else from now on. I was very impressed with the courtesy and service they provided. I would recommend them to anyone!

Got my new baby (grand caravan) yesterday. Looked at them on Saturday. But I wanted to check my credit union first. Brent Matthew was amazing. He told me he would wait until Monday for me.
