The staff at this autozone went above and beyond for a very simple thing for me. Even when one employee was helping me another went out of his way to get what I needed. Not only did they show excellent customer service but they also showed that they were a team!! This day and age when customer service seems to be last in the line of services this team put me first!!!

They ordered the wrong computer for my truck. Had them order the right one was told it would be in by 930am the next day. Went in at 1030am it hadnt come in yet called at 500pm it hadnt come in yet was told it wouldnt be their until after 1pm the next day. Normally wouldnt be a problem but them ordering the wrong computer and telling me it was the right one cost me 700 in other parts and about 7.5 months of time wasted trying to figure out why it had no get up and go just to find out it was because of a screw up by them

Not a bad place with decent prices. Retail clerks were very kind and very helpful even with classic/obscure vehicles with decent availability. However the manager does not seem appreciative of long stays and shoos you out the door. Otherwise worth visiting. Very clean and well kept

I called and spoke to Clint while sitting sad and defeated in advanced auto parts parking lot. He told me to come out. I came out and he stood in the cold and the rain and looked for any reason my car didn’t work. We didn’t check the tail light bulbs cuz the guy at advanced told me they were fine. At the end, Clint checked the bulbs and both were blown! A $9 fix! I will come here from now on and I’ll never go to advanced auto parts, especially the one on pleasant valley blvd, again. Thank you guys soooo much! I was so excited I ran in the store to let him know they were working! I would have hugged that man!

No rewards card, the whole experience was a hassle with the warranty and I had to go to two different stores in Altoona otherwise I would of had to wait till the following day. Meanwhile the parking lot has 10 company cars in each parking lot and the one store was empty with three employees working. They didnt have the bolts I needed either. Go to NAPA!

I went to the auto zone in altoona. I actually believe it was the manager of the store who helped me and I stated what was going on and I needed my battery, starter and alternator checked witch they can do. I stated that I believe my battery is bad and needs replaced. Well idk if he just didnt want to have to take the time to change the battery or what but tells me that my battery is good nothing is wrong with it and sends me on my way. Needless to say my battery was bad my car left set & I had to call AAA to start the car &,replace the battery. I can honestly say I wouldnt recommend Auto Zone at all.

Be careful, they gave me bad info about my car. I stopped by to get my battery tested (2013 Subaru Legacy) because I was noticing sluggish starting and a couple other issues I suspected to be a bad battery. The clerk ran a battery test which only took a minute or two and the tester showed a bad battery, as I expected. This is where things went wrong. The clerk proceeded to tell me that my car wouldnt be able to be driven for an hour after the battery change, because there was some extensive relearn process my car had to go through. Well, I didnt have an hour to wait. I thought this was really odd and never heard of such a thing and this is my third Subaru ive owned. A couple days later, I stopped by Autozone in Hollidaysburg and asked if what Altoona told me was true and they about laughed me out of the store at how absurd this was. So, I had Hollidaysburg change my battery and was on my way in about 15 minutes with no re-learn process as mentioned in Altoona. Just be careful about what they tell you about your car, as it may not be true.

Manager is extremely lazy,I took my 2000 Chevy tracker in for a battery he told me they didnt make them and told me to go out and look at the sticker and make sure of the year, instead I went to the other auto zone in town and will never be back to this location

Unprofessional. Staff ignores customers and is ill informed on the parts and products they sell. Always list the lowest quality and priced item over the phone but start with the most expensive, but not necessarily best product when asked in store.
